I"m 22 and work full time in the CBD in the finance sector. I'm a pretty tidy person so no issues there. Love going out for a drink on the weekends or simply catching up with friends.
Hi I'm 38 year old girl looking for a place on the outskirts of the city. I'm originally from Perth and been here just over a year. I love pets especially dogs. I work full time and generally quiet on week nights, weekends vary. I'm clean and respectful. I am an outside smoker. I'm after a place with no more than 2 others. Must have parking not just street parking. Also it needs to have a tiny bit of storage as I do have my own things eg fridge, washer, dryer ect
I'm working full time as a lawyer for the government and I'm looking for a fun loving yet a professional household. I'm a good spirited and adventurous character who loves socialising and having a drink, but also requires alone time to recharge. I love playing board games, hanging out and binge watching TV. I cook reasonably often and enjoy sharing meals. I'm a pretty active person and will usually have a dinner or a drink after work with friends and go out on the weekends. Sometimes though I just need to chill on the couch like a vegetable. I think sharing homes can be a great way how to meet new people and make new connections - however it can also be incredibly challenging, so I recommend that we have a drink and see if we are compatible.
Monday to Friday corporate life, I work full time in HR. Ideally looking for something 6+ months. I'm always down for binge watching a good movie or tv show but it'll never be Game of Thrones... Social but also want to be able to chill out on my own Clean bathrooms and kitchens are a must Someone with a cat would be cool but no pets is okay
Hi, I'm a 28 Years old Mexican international student currently looking for a single room. I work in Kew as a Cleaner Supervisor (I'm certain you wont have any cleaning problems with me) Monday - Friday and go to school 3 days a week to the CBD, for that reason I'd like a room in a place mostly with easy access to the CBD. I normally have a busy schedule some days a week between work and study, but I may have off my weekends to either chill at home or hang out with friends, I have a TV and a PS4 I am happy to share, as well as a car to do maybe a road trip, go to the beach, or even grocery shopping. and advantage point with me is that as being Mexican, I'll be able and happy to cook plenty of traditional dishes from my country, way better than the ones we can get at any restaurant here. Also due to my occupation, I have a great vacuum machine and I wont mind doing some thorough vacuuming of the house once in a while (I have some experience doing house cleaning, although I consider is important to share all activities, I know how to do them efficiently and fast. We will never have to hire any cleaning services). I hope to hear from you guys soon, and I wish also to meet my future housemates.
I am looking for friendly share house, my current lease expires early March so I'm looking for somewhere for late feb/early March. I like to catch up and have a drink or dinner and a chat at the end of the day, so social housemates would be preferable. I work full time in the public service and study part time, so I'm not looking to move into a crazy party house. If there's anyone out there keen to help me stay fitness-motivated, that would also be a massive benefit! In general I am looking for a hygienic house, happy people, wireless internet and good ju-ju are a must. I'm looking for either an established share house or happy to also set up one from scratch with others.
Hey there! My name is Delisa, I'm 18 years old and from Germany :-) I am on a working holiday in Australia for 4 months and currently doing in internship in Melbourne. So I look for a place to stay for two months (January - March). I would love to live with people around my age to spend a nice time together! I am a really tolerant, open - minded and helpful person ;-) I would love to hear from you! xoxo Delisa
Hi, my name is Christiane. I'm a 27 year old trainee solicitor. I'm usually busy with work or my side hustle - writing and poetry - so I will stay out of your hair. That said, I'm not about hiding in my room either. I enjoy reading and tv - crime and animation particularly. I am trying to become a gym person but to be honest, I prefer being out in nature to exercise. I love traveling and art and opera and appreciate people who are reasonably clean - but I wouldn't stress if the place wasn't clean here or there. I have made a lifestyle change to quit drinking although it's not a blanket ban. I'll never say never. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of quitting and would not smoke near the house if my housemate was averse to it. I appreciate intelligence and nerds particularly as I am a closet nerd. Plus, I'm an INFP/ENFP if you know what that means then good for you :) I am open to living with people of any sexual or religious or other affiliation. All I ask is kindness and calm. I am social but in my books, my home is my sanctuary.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
Hey flatmate world, We're a fun loving couple looking for some new housemates in Jan/Feb 2017! We both work full time but are definitely up for getting together with our roomies for a social drink or bite to eat whenever possible. We both love going for brunch, playing different sports and watching trashy telly in our spare time. While we are a couple we are also great at doing thing separately. We are both super clean and as an added bonus Max is a tradie so he's super helpful with jobs around the house. Together we also have all the furniture needed to furnish a new house so if your's is missing anything we'll have it. This is also perfect for anyone wanting to team up. If you want to know anything else about us feel free to message!
I am very easy to get along with, tidy after myself (and sometimes others if they need help), like to keep a clean and calm household, and keep up to date with all my bills. I love nature and travel, and a bit of photography. Also play club sports, and very much a water-boy (not waterboy) cause I love my water sports or just splashing about. I'm also happy to lend a hand if something of yours is broken (I'm quite practical) and share a meal or just chill anytime.
I am from Pakistan. I recently graduated from high school and will now be studying at the University of Melbourne. My hobbies include working out, watching movies, listening to music and last but not least, obsessing over cars. I also like to play sports such as football, volleyball and cricket, as well as track/field. I can be flexible when it comes to sharing a place with someone. I don't drink or smoke, but I don't mind if others around me do either. I am not a vegetarian (for those whom it may concern), and I don't despise vegetarians either haha. I'm also cool with pets. I think the only thing I can be guilty of is taking too long to brush my teeth in the morning, so if we're sharing a bathroom we'll have to work around that. Also, I am a firm believer in personal space. I wouldn't want to intrude anyone's set boundaries of personal space and would prefer likewise in return.
Hi there! Melbourne born with an Armenian background. Easy going, normal kind of guy. Weekdays 9-5 work, get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. I try to keep things more low key during the week but like the odd night out. Weekends I like to be out and about. Socialising, eating out, travelling, footy and music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type! I act younger than I am and mum says I need to grow up haha
Hey, I'm Rupert. I am moving down to Melbourne from Queensland in February for my first year of university! I've always loved Melbs and I've decided to just head down and begin this new adventure. I'm looking for a nice place with great people. I'm very normal and a non-smoker. I love exploring Melbourne, visiting museums, seeing shows, enjoying a drink with friends and I'm always down for brunch. I'm very much an extrovert but I do like my own space. I'm a very clean and tidy person, extremely reliable and punctual and hopefully I'll make living with me an enjoyable experience. I'm so excited to move down to Melbourne.
Hello future flatmate! We are two American travelers --visiting from San Francisco, CA-- on working/ holiday visas in search for a home in Melbourne from January until April. We are in our late 20's, extremely clean, easygoing, and respectful roommates. Back home, Jed works in Primary education & Brittany works in residential Interior Design. The two of us enjoy reading, playing music, and almost anything that involves working with our hands (arts, crafts, etc). If you think we sound like a good fit for your home, please don't hesitate to message us! Thanks so much! Cheers, Jed and Brittany
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
I'm a Kiwi who has been living and working in Melbourne since last year. I have been flatting for around 5 years in a few different places so I am used to living with others. I like to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym and playing sports. As I have not been in Australia long I will often be out and about seeing what there is to do! When at home, I like to chat with the flatties, watch movies and chill out. I regularly cook my dinners and lunches but will eat out occasionally. Would definitely like to meet the other flatmates and see the place before moving in.
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
Hello, guys and girls. We are a young couple in our mid 20's moving over from New Zealand. Bill has been a self employed builder for the last 8 years in NZ and looking at branching out in to the world of project management. Libby is in marketing, she is extremely creative and loves the challenges it can bring. We are both very outgoing and don't like sitting around too much... although you can't beat a trashy movie with wine and a cheese board on the odd Saturday night. We have a very loving dog, Jack, who we will be bringing with us. He is a doberman and is great with people (kids and adults alike), cats, dogs - the lot! A lover to his very core! Other than walking our hound and exploring, we enjoy taking the motorbike out, getting to the gym regularly, good drinks and delicious food (we try to be healthy) and cutting shapes until the sun comes ups. The flights are booked and we are landing Australia side on the 30th of March. Ideally we would love to have a place lined up and locked in - ready to hit the ground running. We are very tidy and considerate people and we are very much looking forward to meeting new people and getting this adventure going.
You are going to enjoy living with Peter, who is 27 years old guy from Slovakia. He has been enjoying Melbourne and would like to find a new place close to his work. So ideally he would move to South Yarra where he works in the IT sector. As he spends a lot of time in front of the screen during a week he enjoys going out on weekends. Easy going guy who doesn't take life too seriously, but loves to talk about it. He is willing to go on a lease if the place is satisfying for his eyes. Please feel free to ask any question if you think he is the right guy to live with :)
I am 21 and have recently moved to Melbourne, I'm looking to move out of where I am living now. I currently work in traffic control and at a bar. I'm friendly and clean, like to socialise and make friends but also relax and binge watch tv series.
Hi, I'm Simon. Just started a full time job and staying with friends while I look for a place. I'm very quiet and clean. Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I am the ultraclean kind. Also, I enjoy alone time as well as casual chilling times with roomies. I know how to respect people space and peace. I am from Canada, soooo real polite :p just kiding. I am laid back, and a student, so not so stress in general.
Hi there! I'm an outgoing American, who works in a cafe full time and is planning on being in the city until December. I'm looking to live in a laid back place with a social roomie or two. I love going to the cinema, going for hikes/adventures on days off and a nice glass of wine or two! I love a good chat, but enjoy my personal space as well. Hoping to find a place asap!
I am respectful and I am tidy. I usually clean up after myself. I am not ocd. I work in the hospitality industry in the city. Therefore I am usually at work. I like pets but I do not own one. I enjoy going for coffee, brunches and checking out new cafes or bars. Please message me as I am looking to move out by the first week of February and ps: I also have an Nespresso machine if you love your caffeine. :)
I'm an American here for work and holiday. Ive been living and working in Seoul for the better part of the last 4 years. I have loads of hobbies and interests including music, cooking, tennis, exercising often, books, films, games and the like. Like to live a healthy lifestyle while staying busy creatively and athletically. Love hanging out and having drinks here and there as well. I will be at work or exploring my new city most of the time.

I am a professional female working 9-5 job in healthcare and looking for share accommodation in or closer to Melbourne city. My preference is to have a private room with own bathroom plus parking. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney in the first quarter of 2016. I'm an easy going person and I'm looking to share with someone that is house proud n keeps the place clean. I like a bit of privacy at times but mostly up for a chat or have dinner/glass of wine together when time permits.
Hey, Looking for a private room, furnished or unfurnished is fine. I've just moved here from Sydney, I work full time in the city. I'm a friendly, happy person. Very clean, and pay bills on time!
We are a couple from Sweden looking for a furnished room. Anna is already in Melbourne and Axel arrives 9th of Feb and we have to move out of Annas current room around 18th of Feb. Anna works as a waitress almost full time and enjoys wine, coffee, movies and hanging in the park. Axel works as a sound technician in a conference hall back in Sweden with hobbies as music, computer games and loves cats. We would prefer to live with easy access to the city but also to the beach or to a nice park, so somewhere between South Yarra, St Kilda and Elsternwick would be great. If you got a room in that area that are furnished, in a house share with good wibe we love to hear from you! You will be texting Anna and she's the one seeing the rooms for now :) We plan to stay in Melbourne until end of May. Cheers! :)
Hello future housemate(s) We have made the move to Melbourne, leaving our little land of Perth behind. So super excited to get amongst everything that Melbourne has to offer. We are both huge foodies and love yoga (just finished our teacher training in Rishikesh, India). We both enjoy being active and healthy and being surrounded by like minded people. Both clean and respectful and are looking for a loving, nuturing space to call home 💓. We are looking for a place that will be inviting, house mate dinners and chats over wine or chai would be ideal! We are both social people and looking to make some friends not just roommates. We are bringing with us my miniature German schnauzer Angus (he's house trained, hypoallergenic non hair shedding dog), who's super friendly with people and other dogs. He doesn't need a lot, although a courtyard would be amazing. I walk him twice a day and he is extremely spoilt, and will not need any work (just love). Kelly: I am 28 years old, a full time scientist working in medical and tissue engineering, will endeavour to work as a yoga instructor as well as cafe work as I LOVE Melbourne cafe scene. I'm very clean and loving and respectful. I really enjoying cooking and food prep, I make everything from scratch. My cooking skills are a great asset to a household :P Royce: 29 year old off shore construction worker working 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off (in Broome). Very handy around the house and enjoys craft beer and live music. In my time off I keep myself very active. We hope to hear from you soon, namaste :)
Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
My partner and I are looking for a place to call home in Melbourne after travelling around the west coast for the last few months. A bit about me, I'm Lizzy, 26, from Newcastle and work in sales (9-5) when I'm not at work I spend my evenings at the gym or cooking some new with a glass of wine in hand. My partner Joe is also 26, from London and is a decorator (8-4), he loves yoga, gardening and a glass of red! On weekends we like to socialise with friend, have a few drinks and are keen to explore what Australia has to offer from beaches to national park, waterfalls and whatever else we can find!
Hey potential roommate! My name is Becca and I'm a Canadian who will be studying in Melbourne from mid Feb-mid June 2017. I'll be in school a few days a week and will also try to find a part time job as well. I'm searching for a modern place (ideally in a newer building) with gym facilities and a pool as a plus. I'm 22 years old, friendly, super tidy, and respectful of personal space. I'm passionate about wine and cheese, a strong advocate of Netflix, a wannabe runner, and avid traveler. I enjoy meeting new people and I like to keep busy! The beach will likely be my second home. Fun fact: I also did an exchange to France and can make a great risotto. I like to occasionally go out on weekends but I am equally content with a night in (pizza and wine make it even better). I'm also a master of sneaking in stealthy if other roommates are sleeping-so not to worry if you like to keep quiet. It would be a bonus if roommates are of similar age, fun, and would like to hang out a few times a week or show me what the city has to offer! I've also lived with many people for the past 5 years so I'm used to sharing spaces. Furnished place (with bed) is a must. Send me a message if you have a private bedroom available. Looking forward to hearing from you (and escaping the Canadian winter)
I work in hospitality and am in the process of relocating to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, and have gotten along well with a good mix of people. Depending on the job, my work hours will very likely be late, long and on the weekends. I try my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I live with. While slightly reserved, I'm always up for a chat and maybe a drink or two. I love food and cooking and will spend a good chunk of my free time on that. For exercise I do quite a bit of running.
