Hello, I'm Bianca from South Korea, my boyfriend Alex is from France and we're looking for a room to start new adventure in Melbourne. We are on second year of working holiday visa, came back 2.5 months ago from each other's home country, and now we want to stay in Melbourne until our visas expire (which means until end of August, hopefully more). We were backpackers so we like to make new friends, listen their adventure story but tired of dirty and noisy hostels so wanna keep our room clean and tidy. Bianca & Alex
Hi, We are looking for with my girlfriend a flatmate in Melbourne or around the town for a few months. We come from France so I can’t bring many things that’s why it’s important for me to have a flat furnished. We are sympatic, friendly and clean people. We work in hospitality so we can cook French dishes for you We arrive in Melbourne the 9th november and looking for a flat from the 19 novembre. Thank you We are waiting for your answer
I'm a 22 yo student from South of France, working in communication and marketing. I was in Sydney for a bit and now moving to Melbourne. I'd like to work for a moment in Melbourne to get a better English and meet new people, and then travel a bit. I'm always smiling and easy to live with. I'd be glad to share dinner and moments with my future flatmates sometimes. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have a place in your flatshare, and like to meet me :)
Hi there! My name is Jasmine, and I’m in a bit of a jam. Due to unforeseen circumstances my current housemate has to move to Sydney in a month, which leaves me with the delightful task of finding a new home! Ideally I’m looking for someone to apply for and sign onto the lease of a new place with me. So if you’re looking for a new home and don’t have anyone to share with, I’m your girl! Why you should choose me as your next flatmate: ⭐️ I have all the requirements to furnish an apartment already so no need to buy couches etc! ⭐️ Can cook and share meals ⭐️ Will frequently buy you random snacks/chocolate from the supermarket because who doesn’t love snacks? ⭐️ Expert cleaner and tidier ✌🏼 ⭐️ Bookworm aka all of my hobbies are quiet 😉 ⭐️ I also come with a rabbit who is adorable and always up for cuddles A little about me: I am a 25yo masters student, studying teaching. I’m a quiet, introverted, bookworm-y kind of person for the most part, but I do like to have wine-induced chats and fun as well. I tend to be a bit of a homebody - I keep things neat and clean, I like to share home-cooked meals, and just generally do all the things that make a ‘house’ a ‘home.’ I also have a pet rabbit who is precious and precocious and non-negotiable as I love her more than life itself. 😛 I’ve lived in quite a few share houses in my time, and at this stage in my life I’d really like to find someone who can be a friend as well as just a housemate. Someone with whom I can share meals, chats, movies, brunch, gossip, and invite out to join my other friends too. So if that sounds like the kind of house you’d like to life in then please do hit me up!
Currently travelling to escape the realities of employment back at home, but now I am after some work and thus, a place to stay in Melbourne. I have been told by people that I am very sociable and easy going, which I'll take as constructive feedback, but I am always keen to meet new people and make new pals. Love my sport, music, writing and the occasional Netflix series, as long as it is not reality TV...
Two friends who met at uni in the U.K. who love travelling. Currently in Melbourne for around 6 months to live and work before heading to NZ and Asia. We are sociable, love cooking together and for others, and being active.
I'm a 27-year-old foodie from England. I moved to Australia nearly 3 years ago. I have permanent residency here. I work full time in South Melbourne. In my free time, I socialize with friends, I draw, I'm vegan so you'll probably find me veganising some dish in the kitchen. I am clean and considerate. Won't leave dishes in the sink etc. I enjoy keeping active by hiking, gym, yoga or just generally walking everywhere. I love checking out bars with friends, going for brunch.. basically anything that involves food and drink, I'm down. I’m always happy to hang out over a beer and food during the week or over the weekend. But I also love quiet nights in with a bowl of yumminess and Netflix :D Oh, did I mention I have a great (British) sense of humour?
I respect multi-cultural diversity and people differences. I'm a scholarship awardee from Indonesia and will take a master degree in Unimelb starting in mid January 2019. I'm an easy going and a reliable person (will pay the fees/bills on time). I'm calm and friendly, and love to live in a clean house.
I’ve just moved to Melbourne last Sunday from Queensland to a contract for work. I’m a really friendly, calm and relaxed person, and used to living with a lot of different people so am very clean and can adapt to everyone’s living habits. I'm mostly a chiller, though do love a a bigger night when the vibe is right but by no means a loud or disruptive housemate.
I am a work and traveller from Germany. I came to Melbourne two months ago and enjoying it so far since Melbourne is a great city. What I love doing: healthy cooking (preferably vegetarian), doing sports especially in nature such as climbing or doing yoga, going out with friends for dancing and drinking every now and then, reading books and trying out new things in life. If you have any questions about me feel free to message me. Miriam :-)
Hi there, I'm Julia. I am a 29 year old freelance photographer and artist. I'm looking for a room available earliest December 11th. But I can move in a little later than that. I'd like to live in or close to Thornbury. Other Suburbs of interest would be Preston, Northcote, Brunswick, etc etc. Northside is essential. I'm a Queenslander who has been here for two years. I miss my morning surf, but love the creative nature of Melbourne and the artists I meet. I can pay up to $600p/m rent. I would prefer female or non-binary housemates. I'm open to a share house that has an ok balance. It's case by case. My wish for a home would be that it is not too far from public transport, and although it doesn't have to be a vegan or vegetarian house, I am vegetarian. I've got a lovely partner who will come over some nights. She's a wonderful cook. I would love to have a glass of wine with you from time or time or watch a movie. But I also respect personal space too and to be honest, can be quite an introvert, especially when I am lost in my editing or my health is down. My hearing is in the low range so communication may be touch and go, we'll just need to meet and see. I hear women best and in a quiet environment I can carry a decent and usual conversation. My health condition (a migraine type afffair) affects my energy levels, so I would - with my freelance work also considered, spend a lot of time at home base. If you have any pets I'd be happy to meet them and even occasionally petsit ;) Please feel free to message me. If you are more than 20 minutes drive from Thornbury, it won't be suitable. I can move in a little later than the date I have provided. It is flexible. Just let me know and we can meet and discuss. Cheers, :)
Hi! I am 24 years old Australian and looking for a furnished place to stay for my PhD with CSIRO in Parkville. I will need to stay for more than a year, starting on November 16th. I am a clean, social, chilled, fun person who loves to cook and willing to share food. I am also a Marvel fan and enjoy watching new movies and Netflix. I am a non-smoker and non-alcoholic. I worked in professional before for 2 years in Sydney. I have lived in sharehouse before in Melbourne and Sydney, pay all the bills on time and contribute to clean-up of the common area. I love to go to the beach and bushwalking on the weekend, exploring new places and enjoy good food from restaurants and cafes. On rainy days and nights, I like to play computer games, board games or just chat with housemates. I will need to travel to Sydney occasionally next year as part of my PhD project. If you have a good room, feel free to message me. Thanks
Hi Flatmates! I'm 19, from Hobart, and I have lived out of home for 8 months in student accomodation while I complete my Music Industry course. I'm looking for a long term place to call home in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. I'm very friendly but a little quiet at first until I come out of my shell, I like to keep things clean and tidy, I love my me time and respect other peoples needs for privacy. I love going out for bevs when I can, hanging out and seeing friends, and discovering more of Melbourne. I'm definitely looking to potentially move in with people around my age group, who are quite chill like I am and are just genuine, honest, kind people. :)
Two hardworkers that just moved from UK together to have a good experience in Australia. We like to spend time meeting new people and relaxing while having a few drinks.
We are 2 friends from Chile, responsible, organized and chilled people. We have finished university and we are looking for new opportunities here in Melbourne. We would like to live in a good atmosphere and we are looking for a shared room with 2 beds.
Hello, I'm a student, studying in Brunswick. I moved to Melbourne from Tasmania. I'm a creative type; I love to paint, sew and cook. I consider myself easy going and friendly. I love having dinners with my house mates. Looking for a place for summer, possibly for long term.
I am a Uni student full time at Swinburn uni in Hawthorn, I am super clean and quiet, I stick to myself but I am always about communication and team work... I don’t party, but I like to have a drink or two every now and then, I don’t mind smokers, I am super respectful; which is what I look for in return, I love pets too!
Hey guys! Hey 👋 I’m Yianna, 23 years old, fully house trained and independent young woman! I’m very respectful of the spaces of those around me, always cleaning up after myself and keeping quiet considering everyone’s working hours. I have lived in share apartments for 5 years now and currently have been living on my own this year which I find to be incredibly lonely! Even though I keep to myself quite a bit it’s always nice to have another energy around :) I like to live with somebody who’s clean, reliable, friendly and definitely not somebody who treats it like I’m living in a short stay rental if we’re splitting the rent! I believe the space should be shared equally to create a space that represents everyone with their own unique bits and pieces! I love plants and art and vintage items! 😇 I come with a washing machine, a low quality fridge haha, awesome bamboo love seat, bedroom furniture and some other household stuff but I’m happy to not bring everything if the place is already furnished! I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL CAT THAT WILL BE WITH ME 🐈 I’d love to find one or two house mates and check out some places together and create our own little home. I am very trustworthy and honest and expect nothing less from those around me! :) I don't mind if it's a house, townhouse or apartment as long as it's modern and it would be amazing to have my own bathroom. I've seen plenty of 2bd 2bth on realestate for 500pw and under. :)
Hi there : ) My name is Saleh, I'm 28 years old, and I’m currently doing my PhD in biomedical sciences in Adelaide and will be transferring to University of Melbourne on December. I usually go to the laboratory as part of my PhD from 9 am to 5 pm (usually more..) which keeps me pretty busy. I’m a quiet guy, respectful of others, and always like to keep my place clean and tidy. I usually go to the gym in the morning before work, and unwind at night by watching TV or by playing video games. I also like to be social, but I also respect that everyone needs their private time. Looking forward to meeting you and checking your place! Saleh
