I am from Point Cook, I hope to move somewhere closer to the city for more job opportunities. I am quiet, independent easy going and respectful, bit of a neat freak and am looking to become a light vehicle mechanic. I am not sure how long i would like to stay at this point, hopefully if i find the right fit it can be something permanent.
I am an introvert and happy doing my own thing. I love my own space and would suit living with a likeminded creative. I spend most of my day illustrating from home, but still work a few days a week in a cafe. Also a musician and need to feel comfortable to practice my singing. I like keeping things tidy.
Hi there, I'm an international student, living in Melbourne for more than 2 years now. Looking for a private room and ensuite bathroom, short-term stay. I don't know the length of my stay is going to be until this moment, but minimum 2 weeks to 1 month maybe more, not sure about it. Looking also outside of CBD in inner suburbs. I'm a quiet person and respect the privacy of others, very clean and tidy. Easy going, want to move at the end of August. Yes, I might not stay for long but with me no delay in payments, I pay all my bills fast and immediately.
Hi, Im James. At the moment I live by the beach in Mount Martha but looking for a place closer to work. I work full time running a busy bar/restaurant along Southbank. I do a bit of Uber driving on the side. Volunteer firefighter. Im a tidy person but I dont mind if your not. Social house or keep to your self place I dont mind either way, I'm good with both. fan of Netflix, I try to keep fit, but at the same time I have been known to smash 2 large pizzas because its a Wednesday. Have been on a reality TV show, so I have some good stories. So if you want some free drinks, a lift home from the city, and someone who knows what to do when you set the kitchen on fire... then I guess im our guy! :) Only thing is that I have a medium sized dog. He is fully trained, friendly and just chills out most of the time. But I need a place where I know he will be happy.
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore looking for a private room for a long term stay. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time). I'm looking for a place that is clean and tidy. Nothing fancy but decent, with fun people up with great sense of humour. I would prefer a place that is less than an hour away from Southbank via public transport. I am also open to teamups! :)
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I work as an engineer Monday-Friday, so am generally out during the day, but do work from home at times. Have been in Melbourne for 3 months after relocating from Tasmania. Was previously living in Southbank on a short term lease and now looking for a new home.
I’m a full-time student from Japan and working part time in hospitality. Normally busy with study and work but would love to hangout when I have time. I’m respectful, tidy person and never late for paying rent.
I'm an 24 y/o from japan. Actually I live in Melbournefor working now. And I'm looking for the apartment living near the city. I would describe myself as someone who is courteous and tidy who respects personal space. I currently work full-time as a career consultant. Thanks :)
Hello, my name is Jacqui. I have lived in share-houses before, and while I have lived with my mother (the past 7 years), I have been offering my services as a house-sitter. I am a quiet, honest, friendly person, and I study BSc full time, as well as volunteer in astrophysics research. I work casually as a science Educator for high school and primary students, and spend almost every evening at home - as I do a lot of study and research (I'm not one to go out a lot). I enjoy living with others, as I appreciate company when I come home, which is why I have always had a pet growing up! I am looking for places in Hawthorn/Hawthorn East/Camberwell/Malvern area, as it is close to my university, and easy to get to and from the city (I have a full license, but don't own a car, so I use PT). My budget is $160 p/w. I realise that is quite a low budget, but at the moment that is all I am able to afford. If you are interested in contacting me with a possible place, please keep in mind I will only respond to ads that are in my budget.
Hey all, I'm a full time student at Monash working 2 part time jobs meaning I don't have a lot of downtime. I study Business and Human Rights and am aiming to work for a non profit. I'm looking to move into a new place pretty much asap. Looking for a cool place (size of room doesn't bother me) with some cool like minded people to explore this awesome city with. Big fan of any music, travelling and red wine. Cheers x
Hi! I'm 20, studying Software engineering at Monash uni and working part time, I am looking to move closer to uni and work. I am very clean, respectful and reliable but also enjoy being social, down for drinks and banter :)
Hello! My name's Luke, I'm an engineer working full-time in the city. I'm a pretty positive and social person, and am generally clean and easy to live with (well I think so!). Always up for a chat with housemates, but will also give plenty of space when needed. Feel free to shoot me a message if you're keen to meet up!
Hi! Luke and I are from England. We're moving from Brisbane to Melbourne on the 18th August. We will be working full-time, but also want to explore the city and see what it has to offer! Both of us are reliable, clean and really easy going. We are both into our fitness (Luke's a PT), going out for food and drinks and meeting new people :) If you have any other questions please contact me!
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
I am Mohyee 32 years old guy from Jordan who works in management consulting. I am moving to Melbourne from overseas to settle down there. I am looking for a room in a shared place or to team up with someone to rent a place together. I am an easy going, clean and tidy person and always love to spend good time with friends and to get to know new people. I love to cook whenever i have free time :)
Hi there. I'm Celeste. Single professional female, late 30s, non smoker. I'm looking to rent a room from 2-6 months whilst I settle into a new job in Hawthorn area. I have worked overseas for the last 10 years in aid and development but have been living back in Australia (Geelong) for the past few years. Good to be back in my home town. I am easy to live with, respect privacy but happy to chat. Early to bed early to rise. Into fitness and at the gym or yoga most mornings before work. I have family living in the local area, so would be visiting them a bit throughout the week. I love pets! I have been dog sitting in the past 12 months, and happy to sit for your pooch if timing suits. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I'm a 19 year old guy from Italy, looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. I love football, travelling and watching movies. My move to Melbourne will be for improve my english and find a work. I will be needing a place for my first month in Australia, but I may stay more than 1 month.
I have the most well behaved cat in existence? Hah, I shouldn't start with that. Hello, I'm a recently graduated student looking to get closer to the Eastern suburbs. I am quite private and keep to myself often so you probably won't see me around much. I am a very clean individual (clean as you go!) and I keep to my own spaces, I live off my computers as a digital artist. I am looking for work in Bar tending and Barista-ing which might mean late hours. I don't mind what gender I'm living with so long as they pick up their own junk and don't let my cat out into the neighbourhood to get lost in. I'm rather bad at cooking but I can do simple recipes, though I'm prone to forgetting to eat. Don't mind me, I'll be fine haha. I don't smoke nor am I into drugs but I don't really mind others doing so if it's away from me. I'm rather passionate in LGBTQIA+ issues but I'm not one to bring it up to people who didn't come to argue. My cat is a chronic sleeper and enjoys naps in the sun. He has no interest in human beings or climbing counters/tables after he has done it once. He makes no messes and doesn't go to the loo enough to even be a concern (he's a clean child). I love him so much my heart bursts with joy thinking about him.
Hi everyone :) I am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne (Permanently) on the 20th of October as I am wanting to pursue my Acting. I currently work at Coles on a part-time contract but I get full-time hours and have already lined up a store transfer to the South Melbourne Coles store so I am looking to live as close to that store as possible. I am very well mannered, friendly, respectful and clean. I do not smoke, drink and never touched any kind of drug. I love watching movies, going to the gym and playing video games. Ideally I am looking for a room but I would be keen to team up with other people looking for a place but as I will not be bringing much with me when I move over, anywhere I move I would need it to be furnished. I would really like to find a place that I can call my home for 6 months - 1 year or possibly more :) Also seeing as I have never been to Melbourne and moving there is a huge step, I would love a place that I can meet new friends and be shown around Melbourne. Look forward to hearing for you all :)
