Hey, we are Dainius and Ruta, an easy going couple from Lithuania. I (Dainius) will be studying in Entrepreneur Education college in Surfers Paradise, while my girlfriend (Ruta) will work. I can strongly say we are communicative and always think positive. We are tidy and responsible, we do not smoke, but having a smoker roommate is not a problem. We do not prefer "partying non-stop", We prefer healthy life style and healthy eating, but a time-to-time visit to a bar or a club is scheduled :) We both speak English, Spanish, Russian and of course our native language - Lithuanian. We are excited about Australia, new challenges and new people we are going to meet. Thank you for reading and hope to see you soon!
I was taking my time looking but need to move December 1st. My preference is to live near the beach but will consider areas not by the beach. I am a FIFO so for 2 weeks of the month I am away at work. I am super clean & do not drink or smoke or do any kind of drugs. When I'm back from work on my 2 weeks off I spend most of my time playing golf & I'm heavily involved in the Latin dance social scene so I'm out at either classes or social dancing 4 or 5 nights a week. I am a retired international rugby union coach & am well traveled & arrived here on the Gold Coast from coaching stints living in Italy, Ireland & Canada. I am quiet & respectful & like to play my guitar when relaxing.
Hello, this is an spanish a latin people group account to find a respectfully pleace where to live. We compromise to act us the Australian rules with ethical and moral attitudes.
I am clean and tidy. I am prepared to help with anything around the house and share chores, e.g cooking, shopping, dishes. I like to think I am good company! Will make a good flat mate :)
I am a good man and I intend to have housemates that are genuine good people that keep it real at home. We will share a home that is comfortable, matches similar lifestyles and yet celebrates the uniqueness of each individual. I am to keen to live with a person who can cope with a man who will respect them, allow space for genuine enthusiasm for life, feel safe to be tired and lazy around and not feel the need to entertain each other or compete against each other at home. "Caring, Safe, Warm, Loving, and Chilled" are the words people will use when they are talking about our place. And "We always have a good laugh at their place"
My name is Amanda, I'm 29 and I have two very cute guinea pigs (Bob is 5, Squishy pig is 2) who are like my children! They have their own house (cage) and can be in my room and they will not be out to dirty the floors or anything. I work full time and I will be getting back into studying in January so I'll be keeping pretty busy! I am clean and tidy, respectful of things and people, kind, love animals, I hardly drink and I like to go out and socialise so I wont be turning the house into a party house. I'd love to live with similar people and in a clean house :) I'm looking for an unfurnished room, I like my own space to watch shows and movies but I like to hang out sometimes too! If you have any questions please send me a message.
Hi there! I'm a single 26 year old female. I work as a full time lawyer. I am currently based in Brisbane and recently got a promotion to the Southport office so I'm looking for something close by. I am respectful, clean and pretty easy going. I like to have fun and mingle but my job can be pretty stressful and I enjoy my own space so there will be times when I just want to come home and chill out in my room. I enjoy staying fit but I'm not a gym junkie and definitely enjoy a good pizza or takeaway haha. I love to have a drink and socialise with friends on the weekends. I enjoy hiking and have a motorbike so some under cover parking for it would be awesome. Looking to live with like minded, chilled and friendly people
I work full time and my nights are usually spent at the gym so you won't really see me apart from the weekends. I am not a party animal and prefer quiet nights. I am clean, hygenic and respect other peoples property and spaces. I am looking for a bedroom with my own bathroom and off street parking. Internet will also be a bonus.
Relocating over from Perth at the end of the year / beginning of 2017, providing my house here sells! I have an 8year old and a Boston terrier dog. We are pretty fun to live with, I am quiet and responsible, tidy and love cooking. Would love to find another female with or without kids to live with. I will find work as soon as I move over! 😀
I am looking for a new housemate, or a new house to live; . I am looking to move out into a new house with one other person or find a big house to move into with one other. Preferable I would like to live with a male, in their mid to late 30’s or mid 40's, however I am very open to a female. I have a 4-year-old staffy, who will be living with us too, he is an inside/outside dog so you MUST be a dog LOVER!! He's very well behaved, after his morning run he will just sun bake and sleep most of the day, he's very chilled out just loves to be around humans. A bit about me… I work in the travel industry and at the moment I am working for the Commonwealth Games, so my days are extremely busy. I LOVE the beach, ocean, surfing, cooking good food, going out for dinner and drinks, and who doesn’t like nice wine or cold beer every now and then. I am looking at getting a house as close to the beach as possible my preferred areas are from Burleigh to Tugun, again depending on the area. I am in no rush, so I would like to find the perfect house and most important house mate. I have partial furniture, 2 x lounges, kitchen stuff and my bedroom and bits n pieces, I would need to get a few things like fridge and washing machine but if you have stuff too we could work out what we do and don’t need. Im NOT looking for a party house! Just a nice chilled out place to call home. I am not wanting to live with children, its not that I don't like them -but past experiences have not worked out. Thanks Heidi
My name is Eddie McLaughlin a 37 year old Business Development manager and Supplement designer for Bodyscience International here on the Gold Coast. Having recently seperated from my Wife I am looking for new accomodation in a clean, secure and mature environment. I am extremely tidy and spend a majority of my time at work which I travel a lot for or at the Gym. I earn a very decent salary which is paid weekly and is more than enough to cover the rent as well as anything else you may need. I’m easy going, out going, physically fit and just a lover of life. Eddie
Hello all, I am Thea, 19, and from Germany. Now behold, I do have a sense of humour (I think so, at least) and I don't have anything against Jews (or any decent human being, at that.) I am an online student so a lot of the time you will find me in my bedroom crying about how much I have to do while watching Netflix. I'm looking for a place to rent for about 2 months aas soon as possible. I love cooking, and I'd say I'm pretty good at it (if you like anything vegetable pasta stuff I'm your gal). I do enjoy going out when I'm not currently having a mental breakdown about how much work I have to do (and continuing to not do any of it), so it'd be awesome if my future flatmates share my love for beer and good music. Having said that, I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Thea x
I come from Germany and I'm 18 years old. I would appreciate if my flatmate is also down to go out sometimes but doesn't have to be that way. Especially during my work and travel journey I like to have only those things I really need and to keep a certain order. So I would be pleasant roommate.
Fairly early riser who enjoys coming home to socialise with flatmates in the evening and at weekends. I am very tidy and enjoy communal meals, love sports, music and coffee.
I'm into my health and fitness, value private time, self motivated, focused. Ideal housemate enjoys their own space yet appreciate regular family meals, appreciate that I love to be useful around the house and include me in decisions that affect our home environment and have strong home ethics in having each other's backs. Rent $180 - $230 depending on inclusions. My general daily routine * Early riser (with the birds) * Mornings; Yoga, some martial arts, morning time on beach when time permits. * Not chatty in mornings because it's private time between me and my day. * Breakfast, prepare for work; often on computer. * Head off to work * When home I prepare healthy meals that would include juices and smoothies, therefore friendly sharing of kitchen space and great attitude is essential. * I do great deal of research on internet in health and personal development (and incorporate updated results where required into my life to test them out) therefore personal space is essential and attitude of tolerance to some changes in my schedule. * Many people are rather entrenched in their habits (therefore your willingness to embrace changes in my daily routine is essential. "I'm like a child who is constantly growing, not a rigid adult stuck in their ways" * If you want same old same old from me - this would not work. (However, "I'm happy for you to be predictable in your habits if that is your preference.".) * (no drugs, alcohol or smoking although "I don't mind if you have a few drinks a few times a week" provided it's not the first thing you reach for when you get home [not interested in living with an alcoholic] * I've noticed; everyone looking says they are easy going, friendly, clean, responsible, like a few laughs, social or semi-social, etc "that's me too" but that is generalizing and no one can be just that. So I've included truth about me so we are real. * I remain curious about life and enjoy adventure and exploring best of opportunities in nature and healthy friendships. About the house; Best if you own the property or have long lease and good relations with landlord so we are not constantly having inspections and to have freedom to negotiate (between us) our preferences as well as long term security in having a stable home. Drama-free environment essential. ============================================== Now for more detail so I'm not running around for chats only (life's too precious to waste). I'm seeking real home where I'm not treated as tenant living w a landlord. Needs to be my home too. Not just a place to crash. It's vital we begin on a foundation of mutual values. Respectful living that honors friendly interactive space, well-being and a mutual place where my higher standard to living is appreciated as I would appreciate and value yours. I've lived on GC many years; This will appeal to you if you have lived with a friend and loved the safety of knowing who you live with under the same roof. "To save time I've put together things you will want to know" Reality is that you need to consider what you are willing to do to ensure that I feel that I've moved into a PLACE THAT IS MY HOME TOO. Many just rent a room with their own rigid terms (and demands). Most people will put up with that, if they do not have any idea of a great life. Beginning with real and caring communication before we meet. You'll want to talk about these things when we meet. Often people do not consider the time it takes to come to you when all you want is to rent a room under your terms. That is tenant and landlord situation therefore not at all friendly. For me it's about a home that lives and breathes humanity in cooperation. About you Compatible person who wants real home environment - not just a boarding house. I need to know I can trust you if I'm to move in with you. And know that I can treat is as my home too. Your ability to relate to people different from you is priority. For me sameness is boring, it's like having a guitar with just one string, we need a number of strings for there to be music that is pleasant to listen to. Moving in with a stranger will not work, I need to know you and the way you live, what you do, your desires in life you are involved in, and how you relate to people. There are a few things I look for. You need to desire to know me as a friend you can trust. Be emotionally mature, caring attitude, interested in making the home a harmonious place. I would wish to know about you; so please when you email me - be sure to lay it out about you as I have about me. You do not need to have experienced as much as I have, just be interested in exploring areas of life you do not know. This "I'm too old to learn new things would be impossible for me to live with" About us It's vital we share a family dinner at least once a week, this makes for healthy living. Two-way communication, occasional social time and sharing household chores - when sharing similar values we absolutely know how to behave respectfully towards each other. I respect your home environment - which would acknowledge that our place is to be my home environment as well. I love to be involved in cleaning and caring for the home - best way to know each other is to work together. Truth comes out when sharing chores. "Why I am taking this approach" I seek a home not to be treated as a tenant by a landlord under the same roof. To indicated that I have given this a lot of thought and that I value my self and my time; therefore I would value you. I'd be driving to meet you; that is time consuming. When we do meet; you'll ask me these questions anyway, so I save my travel time and save it for a person to whom careful consideration matters I've put this together. I'm seeking to share with a person who is capable of sharing with a person who is different to them. Compatible and Like-Minded does not mean we are the same; to me it means complementary. Sameness eventually cancel each other out and very boring. Compatible in this case means someone who is caring and discerning. Someone who is entrepreneurial in their mindset, or we shall not get on if I'm boxed into being just another beige person doing what everyone else does. Many seeking share situation have just a suitcase, and often just looking short term or are students. "I'm not into small talk that leads nowhere. " I live a life of meaning and I do not live out of a suitcase, I've lived on the Gold Coast most of my life and certainly almost all of my adult life. In many share situations - one has to wait till the kitchen is completely free before entering (that is not sharing that is standing in line for my turn) there is no reason why we cannot prepare meals at the same time in the same space. It just takes a little consideration towards each other as complete human beings. People have forgotten how to really share. More about me - so you know how to share about you before we meet. PHOTO IS OF MY BEDROOM (insert is of dining table) so you can see how I love to live. I have my own relationship coaching business, I live by and coach. I appreciate principals of Viktor Francl's "Mans search for Meaning" and Steven Covey's "speed of trust" principals, Bruce Lee philosophy, German philosopher; Friedrich Nietzsche and American psychologist Abraham Maslow’s work on human needs, healthy society and living the words, I am focused on creating a safe place to get things done. I am interested in real human beings co-creating a comfortable homely environment, cooperating to share household and garden chores, enjoying the occasional family dinner, building respectful relationships while appreciating our home as our castle where trust is nurtured. I'm into (not just interested in, but really doing all I have listed below - not just empty talk of interests that never get explored) - Martial arts trained in Aikido and Aikido Ki principals Philosophy and application - Personal development - Cooking - Well Traveled - Culture including spiritual culture - Love Indigenous cultures - have participated in their spirit connection rituals. - Worked on million Dollar Projects and treat each encounter as invaluably as any million dollar project. Never take any moment for granted. Many people are very dismissive of each other (sadly missing every moment of being present) - Respect and Regard Business Principals - Studied Classical Piano at Music Academy & backed performers - Dance - Have my own relationship coaching business, therefore I live what I teach. - Appreciate entrepreneurial spirit in people. - Love generous attitude to life. - I'm focused on maintaining momentum and completing things that need to be done therefore I need a safe place to do that. Creating healthy home Healthy communication, healthy emotional and living environment are essential. Generous attitude towards life, professional and cooperative attitude, friendly home environment, internet. Preferred FEATURES; # Share in Large home or a granny flat. - Generous attitude towards life essential. - Professional and cooperative attitude - Easy Friendly Atmosphere - Internet essential - Clean Spacious Bedroom (would love en-suite) - Generous wardrobe. - WI-Fi essential - Space for my things in Kitchen (top of the range juicer and blenders) as I prepare fresh food daily - no frozen, pre-packaged food. - OR SPACE FOR EXTRA CUPBOARD IN LIVING ROOM TO HOUSE MY THINGS. - I have some furniture and fridge for my fresh produce, and I love my books. These are essential for my health and wellness particularly since I'll be going into my own place in 12months time. Some things that have been in storage I'd love to unpack so I feel I really belong - A real home long term, not just a place to crash. - I have a car, car space is essential. - prefer an en-suite (or own bathroom) and I could use my own juicer, blender as I eat mainly fresh food. I am comfortable being in my own space, enjoy occasional socializing and am seeking to share with easy-going person who loves their life and works full-time. To begin communication If you love your life as I do mine, I shall send you a video of my lifestyle and work environment, followed by a meeting. These things you would ask me when we meet, remember it takes a lot of my personal time to run around meeting people who are happy to just talk - the talk that can often be a total waste of time for me. For this reason I put together a video of how I live and work. and I'll send it to you when I know you genuinely like what you have read. BE SURE TO LEAVE your PHONE NUMBER
Hi, my name is Julie and I am from Scotland. I work full time in Southbank, usually 10am - 6pm, five days out of the week. I am really clean and tidy, so couldn't live with others who aren't! Apart from that, I am pretty laid back and quite independent, but I also love socialising with friends or flatmates over dinner and a glass of wine. I love pilates and yoga, and I try to eat reasonably well, however I have a sweet tooth, so there will always be chocolate in my cupboard! Haha. It would be lovely to share with people who are relaxed, social and up for a laugh. If you'd like to know anymore, or think I'd fit well, please drop me an email. Thank you, J!
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
