I'm half Brazilian, half Italian and new to Melbourne. I'm looking for a temporary place to live. I'm starting a new position as an Industrial Designer and will be working full time. On my free time, I'll be watching Netflix in my room, or I'll be out exploring the city... I usually eat out, so won't do much cooking at home. I'm very flexible, friendly and also quiet. keep things organized and clean.
Hi there! My name is James and I work as an architectural draftsperson within the education sector for a company called Fleetwood. I am 25 years old and moved to Melbourne almost 2 years ago from Western Australia. I would consider myself to be a very friendly and funny person. I am a bit of an introvert however and enjoy my own space. This usually revolves around playing computer games or watching netflix, so I guess I'm a bit of a nerd! I also enjoy camping and other outdoor activities from time to time to get away from the city life and relax! I am very neat and tidy, probably to the point of being a little bit OCD, I also don't own alot of things so I guess you could say I'm a bit of a minimalist. I'm also looking to study architecture next year full time, which will mean ill be dropping down to part time work. Lastly I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people and starting this new chapter of my life, hope to hear from you all soon!
I am laid back and extremely neat. I don't mind keeping to myself. I am from Kerala, India and will be attending the Masters programme(Information Technology) at the University of Melbourne. I expect my room mates to be tidy especially when a shared bathroom is involved. I don't smoke or drink. I love playing ping pong, and going for long walks.
Hey Looking for a nice room in a quiet house share. About me... 36 year old Welshman, work in the recruitment industry. Well traveled and a social person looking for a quiet house in Melbourne. I'll be working hard during the week and I'm pretty chilled on the weekend, like to unwind with a beer or two and hit the gym also. Looking for similar in terms of a house share. Area's of interest which aren't set in stone - I consider all options but the below are on the radar . Prahran, St Kilda, Cartlon, Richmond, Fitzroy, South Bank, Brunswick and I'm also open to suggestions.
I’m a clean and considerate guy. I’m very good at sharing a living space and I like being independent. I enjoy sharing a laugh and being social, although my solitude is very important to me. I can cook a mad feed as well. I’m currently out of study and only working on a casual basis, but I’m hoping to change that at the start of the year. Looking for a relaxed place to call ‘home’.
-I’m originally from Wollongong NSW just over a year and a half ago I moved to Sydney for work and while Sydney’s great I recently decided that I wanted a change and moving to Melbourne is the perfect oppportunity for that. - I won’t be able to get anytime off between now and feb. so I getting in early looking for a place as I won’t be in Melbourne till the end of January. -I’m an Assistant Store Manager for a department store and I love it. However it means I tend to work long irregular hours. Ranging from early starts to late finishes. - I’ll be working in the CBD around the docklands area. So I’m looking for anywhere surrounding with max driving distance 30minutes or close by public transport. -When I’m off I tend to be a homebody I love simple nights at home cooking dinner and catching up on Netflix shows or reading and of course a glass of wine. -I always make a point to clean up after myself and expect others to do the same. Cleaning is a shared task and anyone I live with needs to respect that. -I’m basically just looking for a home.
Hi there moving to melbourne early dec, with my small quiet dog Any suburb close to trains/ tram prefer to live with 1 other person only i’m more of a homebody not into partying. please msg me 🏠
I currently live on my own in a dog-friendly place in Maribyrnong but I'm looking to team-up with somebody who's keen to move to Brunswick or somewhere near there in the coming months. I'm looking specifically for someone with a dog, as I have a Kelpie who's very much an indoor-boy most of the time. This can also be a thing where, if you're looking to move urgently, you can move in here for now and we can plan and save our pennies for an eventual conquest of the northern suburbs in the early days of 2019.
Moving interstate to Melbourne for work, so hoping to find a house with good people to make the transition as smooth as possible. I’ll be working Monday-Friday’s in the city and would be keen to get out and about on weekends. I enjoy exercise as well as enjoying a few drinks of a weekend either at home or out. Can be put into pretty much any social situation and get along with others well. Would be unreal if I could find some likeminded people. I have a months’ temporary accommodation so would be able to meet up prior. Cheers
Hey, I am a Master's Student at Monash and I am looking for a place to stay from the end of February/ beginning of March. I enjoy spending my time with people but I would also look for a place where I can spend some time by myself to study. I am not a hygiene fanatic but I do enjoy living in a clean environment ;) Otherwise, I am not really picky. Reasons that make it great to live with me are probably that I am an easy going person who just wants to enjoy life, loves good vibes and respects others. I am a clean person, pay bills on time and unfortunately can't cook but lately improved my skills in ordering food! Most of the times I am happy and enjoy good laughs with nice people. :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
Im terrible at writing about myself but I’m friendly, chilled and sociable. I’m Clean and tidy, lived in a share house before and respectable of other housemates. Not a big partier but I’m always down for a drink. I love eating, exploring, being creative and a bit of CrossFit training.
I'm from Barcelona (Spain) and I'm 25 years old. I'm arriving to Melbourne on the 30th november and I'll be there for one year. I want to find a full-time job and a private room in a shared house. I speak spanish, italian and english, but I have to improve my english, that's why I'm going to Australia and I'd like to live with some people who speak english, you can teach me english and I can teach you spanish or italian. I'm very sociable and friendly :) Thank you very much!
Hi guys Im honest and punctual with rent. I am looking for a long term place to live. Clean and organized. Work part time, and the rest of my time I enjoy it staying at home or going out. Im also applying for new jobs so that would be for a while. Respectful with noise because I work and I like waking up early. I like cooking and it would be nice to have a meal and share with people. I play guitar on time to time, do exercise casually, and do yoga. Im vegetarian but dont mind having meat eaters at home. If it happens and you like me, please call me or send me a message. Thank you Sebastian
Hi, we are an Aussie and Canadian couple moving to Melbourne for the Summer!! We are both super friendly and have lived in many share houses between the two of us. We both enjoy outdoor sports especially skiing, snowboarding and in the summer being at the beach with friends. I'm currently living in Queenstown while Steven has done the season in Perisher. We're pretty down to earth and while we are quite sociable and enjoy going out for a drink or to the beach we tend to do long hours in hospo and like keeping our home space pretty chill. We're really excited to make this move and we'd love to share with other young, like minded people, we're keen to get out and make the most of this summer in Aus!
I'm unfamiliar with Melbourne as I moved from Brisbane for a work contract. I would love to share an all female place with some friendly ladies :). I don't smoke, love pets and am very respectful of everyone's personal space. Hoping to find my soul [flat]mate! Three words that describe me: Tidy. Organised. Vibrant! What do I do? I work full-time on movies as an animator - some big Marvel ones, some small independent ones. Do I like to go out or stay in? A bit of both. I'm pretty social and love trying new things (have you tried disc golf?) but I'm also very happy to chill at home watching Terrace House on Netflix. What's my Hogwarts house? Ravenclaw!
Hi my name is Juan , I am looking for a clean place with friendly people. I would like to improve my English ( no Latinos ). I am an athlete, I like to run . I am a student . I work in a part time job . Please if you have something let me know. Thank you!
I am a fun and loving German girl, who has been living in Melbourne permanently for 6 years now. I am looking for open, like minded people to share a home with throughout my uni days. I spend majority of my time working as a bartender and studying psychology at melbourne uni, but spend my free days either on little road trips or doing creative things at home, the garden or in the kitchen. I am always down for a glass of wine and some good chats :)
I'm currently working in the cbd for Vic roads so will be fairly quiet during the week. I'm 25, from the UK on a working hol visa. Up for a few drinks during the weekend or just explore the city and cool neighborhoods. I'm pretty into my coffee & trying to get into crossfit. I watch all sorts of tv stuff including narcos and suits. I'm also partial to watching planet earth hungover on a Sunday! My Favourite food is Greek and middle eastern food & into music like the black keys. I have a lot of experience living in share houses from university & traveling so keep neat & tidy. If you would like any more info just let me know! Cheers :)
Hey Everyone! Chad here or some have referred to me as Chadwick at tines 😂 I'm a full time working professional in the financial services sector. I'm the perfect blend of responsible, fun and spontaneous. The great news is that I'm even house-trained and incredibly easy to live with - you might even describe it as 'too good to be true' because I'm always neat, clean, respectful and very mindful of personal space and boundaries. I go to the gym 4-5 times per week and I enjoy leading a healthy life but don't get me wrong I definitely love to eat as well so you might have to help me tame my menu log/Uber eats addiction at times. My ideal future housemate would be working full time or part time, financially stable and up for City and inner suburb adventures, dinners out or cosey nights in. Since we'll be living together I'd love it if they were respectful, honest and paid rent on time. Definitely bonus points if you can cook or play an instrument but that certainly isn't the expectation and everyone is welcome to message if you think we'd get along. At the end of the day if you are looking for a safe, responsible yet fun house/flat then let's meet up for a light snack or refreshing beverage and see how we get along. Thanks for your time and for reading this in advance. Many thanks, Chad
Hey Melbourne! My name is Claire, I am 20 years old and are studying a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne Uni. I am going into my second year of university next year after taking a year off to work and travel. I love art galleries, coffee, singing and dancing. Just got back from a trip from Nepal and india so expect some cool decor. I have lived in a sharehouse before so know how to keep neat and tidy as well as respecting people’s space. However I also love a good chat and a glass of wine to. Please message or contact me on 0478045749 if interested. Thanks 😊😊😊
I consider myself to be relatively grown up and fairly mature, so I usually can take care and responsibility for myself, as well as consider the needs of others. Currently, I am studying Counselling and Psychology, because I needed a career change. Quiet, social, easy to get along with, and typically hang out a lot in Bikram Yoga studios or at 5 Rhythm Dance or the like... oh... and I have no idea why my profile picture is hanging upside down...
