My name's James. I'm 30 years old and into cycling, adventures, hummus and bread. I'm a straight-edge vegan; that might sound a bit boring but I'm pretty fun to be around and easy to get along with! I've just moved to Melbourne from Manchester, UK on a working holiday, but sadly that meant leaving my last house share, which was with three other vegetarians/vegans. I'm looking for a base and to meet and share a space with some more awesome humans.
My is Danielle and I'm from the Netherlands. But I'm not very often at home, I like to travel but I want to make Melbourne my new home. Why Melbourne? I think it's a great city, relaxed place, with lots of good food en nice people. I'd like to go out for a drink or have some food in a park, but I like to cook dinner at home with friends as well. I'm a tidy, clean person. Who's always into some social events, I'd like to be surrounded by other people but I can also be very good on my own. Living a healthy lifestyle is important to me. I like to read books and blogs and educate myself as much as possible. I’m passionate about good quality food and I like to exercise by doing activities such as boxing and yoga.
I consider myself a friendly and easy-going student that equally loves to socialise and get down to the study. I love to stay active by doing lots of outdoorsy-type stuff and by going to gym etc. I'm more than happy to make an effort and get to know anyone that I live with! FYI: I'm starting medicine at Melbourne Uni 2019. Finding some people in the same situation would be amazing!
Looking for somewhere close to the city & airport. Laid back shift worker. Spend most of my time interstate with work. I love a quiet drink on my days off and love a good cooking session. Happy to pay 150-200 per week. Let me know what’s out there 🙂
Hi guys! I am a 31 yr old professional, working full time in the city 9-5 etc and looking for a place to call home. I am originally from New Zealand have lived in various places all over the world for the last 10 years. Looking for somewhere I can relax after work and have a chat/meal/wine with my flatmate, but also happy to have my space. Also would be great if my new flattie is happy for the occasional weekend guest to stay when my family and friends come down from Sydney for a visit. This would be rare, but still wanted to put that out there :) I have only recently moved to Melbourne so spending lots of my time exploring the city, love to head to gigs, theater, going for a hike on the weekends, travelling and all that fun stuff. Looking to move at the very beginning of Jan! Thanks Pru
I am very easy going and independent. I love a bit of red wine whenever, always happy to buy some. I try to as respectful as possible. I am an artist, mainly a theatre creator and actor and I love conversation. I am also very good at having quiet time. I work very well with females naturally, I am more comfortable around them, I think it is because I am quite feminine myself. I love sensitivity and I am hoping to find some relaxed, artistically interested individuals down for some red wine.
Hi, we're Franklin (28y) and Kristel (24y), driving around Melbourne at the moment, looking for a job and a place to live for a couple of months. We're a fit couple, love to cook and travellig of course. We're not searching for a party kind of place.
I'm architect, from Spain. I like sports, but I do not like to party much, or drink. I'm not a smoker either. I am clean and orderly. I like to have moments with people as well as having moments of being with myself.
Well, I get jokes.. I can tell a good avocado from a not so good avocado.. oh and i'm also pretty good at catching bugs and using my manners. I enjoy soccer, playing music and wish I was snowboarding everyday of the week. There is nothing more to know really...
I am Alexandra, a 24-year-old young woman with Finnish and Greek origin! Just moved to Melbourne from the oh-so-cold Finland! My boyfriend Kostas, Greek-Australian, has joined me on this exciting adventure! We are now looking for an apartment/studio of whatever size in Melbourne. We have both graduated from our Universities and are now looking for jobs! I am an airplane freak and I have worked at the airport, so any travel-related question you might have, I can solve them! Kostas on the other hand is an IT guy in junior level, who loves fishing! We are outgoing and super-tidy and I can give you reference from my previous landlord! We love to travel around, but also we’re up for a cozy night in with a great movie. Feel free to contact me, if you think you’ll have the perfect apartment for us! Alexandra & Kostas
I am a 25 year old professional relocating from Newcastle NSW to Melbourne to take on a BDM role for an Educational Resources company. I will be spending most of my time either on the road around the city visiting childcare centres, or working in the CBD at the office, however will be required to work from home a little bit (and would love a study space/corner!) I have lived in share houses previously, and really enjoy it. I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy. I am an active and a social person - I’ll often be up and about in the morning with the dogs, and hitting the gym after work, but do love my wine and cheese and a night in or out as well. I have a 10 year old Jack Russell. She is an absolute sweetheart and gets on well with other dogs, but as she is getting old she spends most of her time sleeping or snoozing in the sunshine and isn’t too playful anymore. I also have a 3 year old Ridgeback mix. He is very quiet and loves a good belly rub. Where I am now, I take them out regularly, and am happy to help out with yours too. As I’m still in Newcastle, I can’t actually come and have a look at the room straight away (though am hoping to be able to come down for a weekend to check places out in the next couple of weeks), but am more than happy to have a chat over phone, Social Media etc, whatever works for you! My starting date for the new job is 3rd December (so soon!!), so looking to move in the days prior to that - ideally the Thursday/Friday before, but do have a couch to crash on if this needs to be pushed out a few days. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I am Nam. I work full-time in the CBD. Looking for a place closer to the city, specifically southbank. I am easy going, friendly and tidy. I work 9-5 weekdays and on the weekend I like to relax and wind down. I occasionally like to grab a drink or watch a movie and don't mind hanging out on the weekends.
Hi there! I’m Dale (22) and my friend Roland (22) are moving to Melbourne in Feb. We’re both from India and would be studying full time in RMIT. We love making new friends and get along well! We don’t mind sharing the house with anyone. We are also particular about being clean and neat. Please feel free to contact us :)
Hi there! I'm a 29-year-old professional wrapping up my PhD and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for new full-time permanent position on St. Kilda road. I'm currently looking for a sunny bright room with enough space for a double bed, desk and chair, preferably furnished and preferably with an ensuite, nearby St. Kilda road or close to public transport. I'd also prefer bills to be included in the rent. I'm tidy, hardworking and determined but also friendly and easy going. I've grown up and lived in five countries and I enjoy exploring new places and experiences. I enjoy jogging, swimming, camping, soccer and cycling. I also love cats. While I'll be focused on a new job, that won't stop me from being a social flatmate who is keen to chill out and relax. Always respectful of space and privacy, clean and willing to help out and listen when it's required. I enjoy having a place with the right atmosphere where we eagerly look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day Looking forward to meeting you and checking out the place! :)
Hey guys, I'm 26, just moved here from London and planning on being here for the next two years. I've just started working as a bar manager in a pretty sick bar in the CBD. I'm gay, a pescatarian and a creative type looking to get back in to it. Clean & tidy, good banter and can whip up some pretty tasty drinks. I'm looking to get back in to photography and some directing work as I'm here so a creative house a ++. I'm also planning on doing a TEFL and a programming course, so not going to be your usual late-night/party hard hospitality character.
I'm a 23 year old from the country Victoria studying a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with the hopes of joining the Federal Police. I flip burgers and toss salads to pay the bills, while also feeding myself a lot at work. I enjoy the company of people and pets of any kind (living on a farm does that) but when I am working/studying I'm pretty recluse and like to work as hard as possible. I am an avid video gamer, enjoy playing sport (not so much watching it), reading long novels that never seem to finish and going out for a quite Friday night. I like to keep myself and my room clean and respect that fact that I will be sharing a house with others and will gladly pitch in to keep it clean and running (if there is a nice garden I wouldn't mind planting a few veggies to even try and keep the food flowing fresh). Cheers.
Hey! 😊 I’m 26 from England. Currently working in a cafe but looking for a more permanent job in mental health. I’m clean, tidy and respectful. Enjoy chilled nights in watching movies but also love socialising and seeing my friends. I’m flexible on how long I stay - my current visa expires at the end of November 2019 so would be maximum a year at this point but minimum probably 3 months. Really looking forward to meeting new people and having my own room/space 😁 Thanks for reading!
I'm quite, clean and mildly introverted. Generally I spent most of my free time either reading or writing. I'm passed my party days but still enjoy socialising when in the mood. I'm a bit of a geek and am about to start my post graduate studies at the university of Melbourne in 2019. I'm looking for a year accommodation, preferably within an hours walk to Melbourne Uni campas.
Hi my name is Nicolas, I'm looking for a new place to live around Melbourne, I'm moving for work at least for 6 months. I'm quiet, clean, and easy-going. I like my privacy so I respect other people's space too.
