Hi there! I am a pharmacist/ new PhD student at Monash university, looking for a private room close to the university. I am a friendly, easy-going and bubbly person but I also occasionally enjoy my own time too. I also prefer clean and tidy environment, and I will be a comfortable share mate to live with as I already have few years of experience living in a share house. Please feel free to message me if you’re looking for a nice share mate! :)
Hi, 27yo from Cork, Ireland. Staying in a sub let apt until the 5th of September so looking to move into a new place around that date. Work in construction as a civil engineer. Spent the last 3 year's living in New York and Dubai an a bit of travelling in between places. Looking to live with people the same age bracket who are easy going, clean, a bit of craic (Irish term for been fun) and stay reasonably quiet during the week but who may like a drink the weekend.
I am from Point Cook, I hope to move somewhere closer to the city for more job opportunities. I am quiet, independent easy going and respectful, bit of a neat freak and am looking to become a light vehicle mechanic. I am not sure how long i would like to stay at this point, hopefully if i find the right fit it can be something permanent.
Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
Hi, I'm a simple 20 year old (21 start of next year) looking for somewhere to live in Melbourne while I'm studying at uni next year. I reside regional at the moment, so I'll be moving to the city hopefully between October-November this year. Currently work part time but will be doing full time study once in Melb. I'm quite an artsy person, love listening to music, reading, cooking & watching movies, love going out exploring so I ain't a house hermit.
My name is Aom. 29 years old. I'm Thai. I'm looking for 6-12 months rental. I'm work full time as a massage therapist. I'm friendly and quite tidy. Not really a party person. Love cooking and baking. I'm not smoke. Feel free to contact me . Would like to be your flatmate/housemate. Thanks
My partner Lou and I are 25 and are currently unemployed living in Tassie and Sydney after returning from a few months overseas. We have spent the last 4 years living in Melbourne and miss it so much so we are eager to find a share house which is comfortable, respectful and chill and to find jobs too! We have some savings so will be able to cover rent/expenses until we find work.
Hello, My husband and I moved to Melbourne about 3 weeks ago, and will be working at Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne Dental School. We are very active, and just come with 3 suitcases. We're minimalists, we love working out on our spare time, and bike all over the city during the week. Every weekend we plan to head out on exploration adventures and camping trips, if you like hiking, surfing, biking, playing.... ect join us! We enjoy books, talks, and just engaging people. We're from Portland, Oregon, where we have really gotten into hosting people in our own home there and sharing stories. We're neat and clean, and organized. We enjoy life. We're rarely home, as we leave for work between 6-7 AM and don't return until 7 PM ish, sometimes not until later as we hit the gym for a workout. We are really trying daily to minimize our footprint, and live sustainably, we probably do a load of laundry every 10 days, and actually eat at the hospital most days. We do have a car we would like to park, as its our get away on weekends. We're as easy going as they come, and are not new to sharing living spaces! We really need a reliable place to sleep at night, and hopefully can squeeze in some time to share some laughs.
Heyo! I'm Lydia - I'm originally from Montreal/NYC, but have been living in Melbourne for the past 6 months. I just found out my house has been sold and we have 2 months to find a new place to live - major major bummer! I'm 28 years old, been living with roomies for the past 10 years so I'm very much house broken :). Before moving here I quit my job as a fashion buyer in new york to travel for 5 months, but am now back it with a 9-5 full time job in marketing for a sustainable bedding brand (read: I got the sheets hook up!) Livingwise, I'm a very easy and accommodating housemate. I'm a fan of clean dishes and tidy spaces, but not OCD about it! Ideally I'm looking for a furnished room or an opportunity where I can purchase furniture off the previous tenant as I didn't come with much, but I'd be open to unfurnished if the space is right. My current housemates and I had separate lives but were always down for couple of drinks/movie watchin/chillin/cookin/trivia nighting (I actually do this weekly) and I would love to find a place with a similar social situation. Here are 5 things I'm a big fan of: 1. game nights 2. getting a boogie on to some chunes, live or otherwise 3. dumplings 4. a good ass glass of wine or beer 5. a good chat (4+5 generally go hand in hand)
Hi! I’m Rebekka and I’m hopefully your future flat mate. I study for a bachelor in biomedical laboratory science, and I’m going to study at Monash University for 1 semester. I’m from Denmark and it’s my first time here in Australia and in Melbourne. As a person I’m very friendly and easygoing. I love having a good time and I especially like listening to music and going to concerts! I also love great food and would gladly spent all my money on food. But that’s probably not a good idea ;b I also like going out for a drink or two! I’m looking forward to meet you! Thanks for taking your time to read this. See you! :)
Hi!! I am an engineering student that just moved to Melbourne to do an internship! I come from Spain and i am looking for a private room in a shared house and since i am new in the city it will be amazing to share with sociable people that are up to doing stuff together. I've already shared a house for 4 years in Valencia while doing my bachelor and 2 years in the Netherlands where i did my masters. So i know how to live with others and i am always up for going to grab some drinks or do some sports! If you have anything that suits me, please let me know!
Hi there, My name's Meiling, and I've just returned to Australia after living in multiple countries abroad. I'm now re-discovering places in town - new bars, cafes (love my coffee!), and re-visiting my fav haunts as well. I love catching up with friends over wine or coffee, hiking/ swimming/ practising martial arts and taking language classes. I speak Spanish, French and German in addition to my native English, and always feel like I could more practice! (I'm not the person to practise Mandarin with though). I'm pretty laid-back, respectful with flatmates, and like to feel that the apartment is "homey", where everyone's comfortable. Please note: 1) I'm looking for a place with my own bathroom/ensuite 2) I'm a non-smoker (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, and cats). 3) I do like a good steak now and then - so be prepared for meat to be prepared in the kitchen. If you'd like to know more, feel free to ask! Cheers, Meiling

Hi there, I'm an arts and communications professional, looking for somewhere short-term, ideally 2 months (until early November 2018). I am going overseas in January and have ended a lease recently, so looking for somewhere calm, positive, and stable for the next 12 weeks or so. I have lived in Brunswick for the past 2 years and love this suburb, so ideally Id like to stay in the area, but I am flexible. Please let me know if you have somewhere that would be mutually-suitable! Cheers :)
Hey I’m Michael. 24 year old Brit who has just moved to Australia. I’ve come via Canada, having lived in Vancouver for 7 months. Excited to make Melbourne my new home. A bit about me... - love travelling and exploring new cities - really into my music, and try to get to as many live shows and festivals as possible - enjoy a good day/night at the pub with mates balanced with some downtime with a book in hand or watching a film/tv series - work in office/project management In my humble opinion, I think I’m a pretty good housemate. I like to keep my room and shared spaces tidy and always happy to chip in with housework. Shout if you wanna know any more. p.s. I’m yet to be convinced by vegemite.

MANY funny stories to be told over some beers! :) I'm now working full time in construction, and building an online business in my spare time. After all the antics that come with travel, I am now looking for a place to settle and call home. Looking for a peaceful environment to live during the week, as I have to get up early for work. But also love to get out on the weekends and socialise with some drinks ;) I have a lot of experience living with many different people, from various cultures. I love travel, cooking, photography, movies, being out and about, good food, good company and good positive vibes! I am very down to earth and easy going while being a very clean, respectful and helpful person.
I am currently working full-time, sociable and enjoy my quiet time when at home. I like travelling, trying out new restaurants, exploring new places, cooking, baking and catching up with friends. . Looking for someone friendly, clean and relatively tidy.
Hey there! I'm from California, and I would describe myself as friendly, clean and easy going. I'm a Master's student at University of Melbourne studying International Relations. I also plan to begin part-time work soon, so I will be pretty busy. I always make time to unwind and have some fun, though. In my free time I enjoy exploring the city, going wine tasting (I have a wine certification with WSET), discovering new restaurants, and catching up with friends. Though I am from the United States, I've been to Melbourne many times and also enjoy going to AFL games, the local museums, and the parks. I am quite social, but always very respectful of other people's space, sleep schedules and privacy. Moving date is also flexible.
