Hi there, I am a 3rd year Melbourne University Psychology student looking for a place to move in this coming July. I am Indonesian, however I grew up in Singapore (hence the accent - you'll know it when you talk to me ^.^). I am a very chill and easy-going person. I am quite involved in a number of societies (Singapore Student Society, UMSU International, and ASEAN Games Australia). However I'd say at home in particular is where I have my downtimes. I'm a quite a studious person too, I know when I need to be serious (especially during exam periods...). My hobbies include editing videos, hangout with friends, play guitar, and... Netflix? Hahahah I don't actually have pets at the moment but I'm thinking of getting one (a kitten) :)
I love music, swimming and cocktail-making! I work in hospitality. I am from a village just outside of London, England. I am looking for somewhere affordable to stay in Melbourne on my working holiday.
Hello! I'm Katie, I'm 25 years old and originally from Sydney. I am moving down to Melbourne to study at the end of May. I am very easy going and sociable. I love meeting new people and exploring new places. I enjoy travelling, staying healthy, hanging out with friends, going to the pub, wine & cheese, going to the beach and watching the sunset! I am tidy, trustworthy and respect other peoples space. I'm looking for some friendly and easy going housemates :)
Hey! I am an open-minded, sociable and clean person who likes to travel, get to know new things or just have a good conversation. I'm from Germany and in Australia for 5 months to work full time as an engineer. Beside that I want to get to know the country, the people and the language. Therefore, I am looking for accommodation with roommates who are enthusiastic about life and like to do something together.
Im from England and I’m here on a working holiday visa. Been in Melbourne for less than a week. Very pro active and on the hunt for a full time job. I’m friendly, clean and very easy to get on with. I’m a hard worker so will be working full time but hopefully only day time hours, no nights. I like to see my friends occasionally but normally at theirs so wouldn’t have people around often at all. I don’t go out that much possibly at weekends every now and then. I love to cook and watch Netflix. I’m a really chatty, friendly person and would love to live with someone who I could actually have a bit of a relationship/friendship with. I’m looking for a private room, fully furnished, preferable a double bed but I would consider a single room. anywhere up to $250 pw all bills included somewhere in the city. Wouldn’t consider a shared room though, I like my privacy and space.
I'm originally from Sweden but grew up in Singapore. I've been in Melbourne for 4 years, completed an undergrad of psychology and now working full time as a barista in the cbd. Easy, relaxed and person who enjoys food, wine, coffee and music. (it's the simple things in life). I'm looking for a home that's relaxed during the week and not a party house. Want to find a home that has a good relaxed vibe with people who are keen for a coffee in the morning or wine/dinner once in a while in the evening! I have a letter from previous real estate agent that I'm a neat and tidy person who always pays rent on time!
Hello :) My name is Carla, I am 27 and I am from Spain. I just moved to Melbourne and I am looking for a room. I've been sharing houses and having roommates since I was 18. I am very respectful with flatmates, tidy and clean. I love doing outdoor activities and going out with friends.
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. I'm also a volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I am friendly, very punctual, reliable and considerate, for example, I am extremely well practiced in the art of closing doors and cupboards quietly! I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess (all board games in fact) and debating. I am looking for two key criteria. Close to public transport and a big enough room. In addition, I am looking for a friendly home that is a good fit. I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat/house share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within a five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a (small but new) washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality than the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television but I am totally open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the aroma of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I mainly use the kitchen for making instant coffee, which you are most welcome to share. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed. -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA -The room must be an actual room (not partitioned) with a door, and not sharing with others in the same room. -I do not wish to use communal laundry shared between apartments. Happy for us to both use my washing machine if you have somewhere to install it. -Neighbours who are not regularly raucous and disruptive. * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent price is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). My move date is flexible. Many thanks, Lucy
Hi! I'm a pretty easy going french Canadian from Montreal, Quebec! I'm coming soon to Melbourne (May 24th), being relocated in your beautiful city for a short contract of 8 months. I will be working full time in the Visual Effects industry and will love to buy a small camper van, take the weekend off from time to time and explore the area! I'm a beach bum that loves surfing and would like to learn snowboarding as well! (I know it's odd, a surfer Canadian that doesn't know how to snowboard) Hit me if you wanna know more :-)
I work in IT for a health insurance company as I love working in Tech but also to fund my overseas travel as I always have my next trip booked. I was born in South Africa but spent my teens growing up in the eastern suburbs in Melb and have spent the past year living in Port Melbourne. I love new experiences, people and places but also like my down time with friends or to myself. I'm looking for a nice room to live in that's close to the city for my work and a space that I can have to myself but can also share with others.
My name is Emma,I am 19 years old. I am in Australia since now 7 months and I want to finish my visa I traveled a lot during these several months that's why today I'd like to be in an apartment. It’s also a pleasure to meet people from all around the world !
Hi there! I am a friendly, easy going, clean and organised person. I am looking for a Furnished Private room in the city of Melbourne. I am flexible in term of length of stay: short stay (min 3 months) or long stay (up to 3 years) I also have an adorable cat named "Oz" that I adopted 6 months ago. So, hoping to find a pet friendly place.
Hiya! Im looking for a room in a shared house preferably near CBD as thats where i work! Im from the UK, im a clean, tidy, low maintenance but fun sociable housemate.
I grew up in northern rural Victoria and now lived in Melbourne since finishing school. I graduated from Monash in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science and currently seeking my first big break out of the part time uni job into something more concrete. I’m looking for a place to call home for at least the next year or two. As I’m not fully independent yet I will not commit to a place until I have a steady reliable income, fingers crossed sooner rather than later. Looking for a place close to PT and near shops as I have will not have a car for at least the initial duration of my stay. I’m very clean and tidy, super conversational and open-minded. I eat a plant based diet and live quite minimalistically. Most of all I’m looking for a home, a place where I can feel at peace and be surrounded by wonderful people with the occasional beverage and banter. Cheers
Hey! I’m Shannon, a nurse from England, here for the next few years at least. I work at Peter Mac (next to royal Melbourne). I’m really chilled and easy going, get along with anyone. I work different shifts each week, always up for drinks/dinner/chat when free but also respectful of everyone’s personal space and schedules. I can clean up after myself, pay rent on time and contribute to the household. If I’m not at work I like to keep busy! There’s so much of Melbourne I still haven’t seen so always up for finding and exploring those hidden gems, I love going to gigs and having a good dance. Still figuring out footy but enjoy going to games of that and rugby, also trying to get back into playing netball again when I settle in somewhere! Love planning day/weekend trips. Excellent addition to a pub quiz, can answer most of your health worries no matter how weird and wonderful. Very guilty of a Netflix duvet day or chilled night in 🙌🏻. Really looking for somewhere I can settle and get on with housemates. If you think I’d be a good fit for your place, give me a message! Feel free to ask anything! Thanks! 😊
