Looking to Study at Deakin as well as do some training in the CBD so I am hoping to score a place in the middle. I am from Alice Springs ( i know, so exotic) and currently here until the 22ndd of Jan. What I enjoy here is hiking and riding my bike and I am hoping to take my passions and apply it to the Victorian way of life. Hope to hear from you!
Hey, I'm from Liverpool, England. I've just taken a full time job in a restaurant in Fitzroy and looking to stay in Melbourne for a couple of years. I've just spent 3 months traveling Asia and Australia. I was a restaurant general manger in Liverpool. I love to socialise and I'm very friendly. I'm a massive foodie and into wine so love to hang out with friends and go to restaurants and bars but I don't like to party hard at clubs etc, just chill out! I'm very clean, tidy and totally respectful of people's personal space and belongings.

I am looking to team up with someone and rent a place. I have few furniture, not a lot but I will get more. I do have a car therefore I need at least a carspace. Message me if you want to know me.
Hello everybody! We are Sarah (English) and Mathias (Swedish). We are 30 and 27 years old, both in Australia on our 2nd year working holiday visa's. We are looking for a room in a shared house/apartment in Melbourne for the next 6 months. We are friendly, easy to get along with and respectful of others. We have both lived in shared accomodation for the past year and enjoy shared living. We are clean, always tidy up after ourselves and are reliable with rent payments. We enjoy socialising and having a beer with housemates, but are also happy to spend time on our own. We are happy to live in a house with pets. We hope to hear from you soon!
G'day, My name is Laurie. I am 40 years old, Australian, and work as an excavator operator. I Have a 6 year old male short hair border collie named Bon who is very friendly and house trained, he is a very well mannered dog. I am looking for an easy going house where my dog is welcome inside. Would be nice if i was moving in with people that would enjoy sharing time with him. The ideal situation for me would be living in a house where maybe someone that loves dogs works from home or a house with another dog and secure yard as i hate leaving him home alone whilst at work, not because that's a problem, just because he is so intelligent. I have vintage taste, I like older style houses that are furnished with second hand bits and pieces, I am also a music lover and like to collect vintage audio equipment, vinyl records etc. I am not one to watch a lot of TV i prefer to have music playing and i listen to all genres though I also enjoy peace and quiet. I have lived overseas spending nearly 10 years in Scotland and a couple in Ireland, Where i actually rented rooms my self to people so I am big on respecting your fellow housemates. When I am working I start on site at 7am, so I am generally getting up at around 5, I take a quick shower ,make my lunch and shoot out the door. Times may vary a little depending on where I am working. I don't want to live in a party house, its 2017! I am giving up smoking so would prefer a non smoking household, my intentions also are to start living a healthier lifestyle, I want to be closer to the beach for both my self and the dog, maybe join a gym etc. Though i also want get out and enjoy the restaurants and be able to go down the local and chill with my dog and a cold beer on nice days. I would also like to extend my social network which is part of the reason for moving to the city, I am currently down the Mornington Peninsula which has its limitations. My intentions are to also keep saving for a house, so i don't want to go overboard on rent, though i will be happy to pay a bit more for a place with a bit of space, and that is most importantly right for my dog. I don't have a lot of furniture, I would only be bringing bedroom stuff, kitchen stuff if needed. Though I am pretty resourceful, have a Ute, and I am always op shopping or hitting Garage sales...if there is anything needed i will find it. No i am not going to furnish a house with rubbish! (-; You would be amazed what i find. I think I would like to be living with people around 35 to 45 though I am open to anything really as long as it feels right. I also have a motorcycle (GSXR1000)so if there is room for that, that would be excellent though not essential. I think that will do for now until i can think of more...please ask me any questions, and i will do my best to get back to you asap. cheers Laurie.
I am a full-time student studying master of architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I have been in Melourne for 2 years. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I don't smoke and don't like drag. I enjoy having a night in with movies and mates but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I am into music, painting, reading, movies, swimming, photography and biking, recently i am making some interesting graphic by programming. When i am free, i like hanging out to discover new restaurants, new places and fitness or staying at home for cooking or cleaning. Meanwhile, I love chatting with people, for sharing our stories and exchange our opinion. I am a gay, so definitly LGBTI+ friendly. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share life and happy time with my potential lovely roommates. I also would love to share my food and hang out with roommates as well as respect your privacy and keep independence for myself. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. Ideally, I hope the room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 5 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February, but i can also move in Jan if the room is really what I am looking for.

Hi ! I'm a full-time Master of Development studies international student at UniMelb. I came from Bangkok, Thailand. Looking for a room to rent at a reasonable price around the uni. I can cook and tidy up after myself with experience living in a shared flat. I also preferred peacefulness rather than a noisy party. I sometimes like keeping to myself to wind down after a long challenging lecture/seminar, but I am always up to a catch-up conversation about our daily lives and also deep philosophical conversation fascinated me. I am a non-smoker and have a mild allergy to alcohol. My hobbies include cooking ( hello ! my fellow foodies), exploring new places in town and enjoy binging on Youtube vdos at home. Diverities in cultures and languages have also been a major interest of mine. Currently, I am looking forward to the opportunity to go on hiking and explore the city of Melbourne more ! Most important of all, I'm hoping to make more new friends and we can share our stories or even learn from each other.
hii I am from Cancun. Mexico and I'm going to be 6 months in Melbourne practicing my English. With much desire to know the culture of that continent and his people. I really like to travel and I do it whenever I can. I like to read, run and ride my bike. I'm also a hobbyist in photography. I like to go out once in a while and have a beer with friends. I consider myself a person with common sense and I like to make good friends and iam sure i will have a great time there
Hey potential housemates! I'm Jar. Im relaxed, agreeable and reliable. Outside of the basics, I am always down for a cup of tea and a yarn or even a good boogie and a laugh. I've lived in share houses both here, in Melbourne, and in Canada and have had no issues anywhere I've lived. I am currently in my last 6 months of my undergraduate degree at Melbourne University and plan to spend the last half of this year working at my current job at Melbourne Zoo, while applying for an honours year in Psychology. While this all sounds very academic, I am also a painter, an aspiring amateur chef and an part-time shower singer. I am all about a home that is full of sunlight and happy vibes. I hope you'll consider me for your lovely home :)
Already post an advert sorry about that but can't find it . So I'm lucas a French/ Mauritian backpacker pretty good at cooking and at outing some good music around ! I'm reliable and outgoing , we are the one you need to decorate your flat with !

We are from Pune, India and married for 2 years now. We are planning to come to Australia by 1st week of March 2017. But before we make the full transition, we would like to test the waters a little bit. I am a software developer by profession and Rupal is a French Language Trainer. We are both looking for jobs in Australia currently. We are vegetarians, non-smokers and have no children. We are happy go lucky couple who believe in 'Live and let live'. Looking forward to finding good flatmates :)

Hi there I am a hard-working professional who works in a secure job 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and I am always out and about on weekends or at the gym. Hej hej! I am a girl from Sweden, very mature, friendly and easy-going, working full time at a cheese-and-wine-café in Carlton. That is why I am looking for a room around that area. Being as house proud as I am, I love taking care of the place I live in, always striving to make it feel more inviting and stress-free. After two months of travelling the east coast, moving every three days from hostel to hostel, I am looking forward to finally being able to settle down somewhere where I get to have my own room for a bit more than a month or so. Dancing has always been a passion of mine so I love to be surrounded by music and creativity. I also enjoy all social aspects of life, including getting to know and spending time with my flatmates over a glass (or two) of wine (paired with delicious cheese of course ;)). I also believe respecting peoples personal space is just as important as being social and having a good relationship. I like having my own time reading a book or watching an episode of New Girl, too. If you like hanging out in parks, maybe having a picnic, or strolling around town, maybe looking for new trendy bars or cute stores, I never say no to some company! Otherwise, I am usually busy working on the weekdays. (The move in date is totally flexible, although I am looking to move in as soon as possible!) Hey, just send me a quick message if you have a spare room or think we would get along! xx
Hi, My name is Laetitia, I'm a french girl. Actually I'm living in Sydney but i would like to move in Melbourne in March. I would like to rent a room and shares also some activites with friendly flatemates ! I'm a smiling and open-minded person. Upon my arrival I will search a job in full time.

I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I have plenty of share house experience from around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy and a reasonable amount of cleanliness around the house. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!

Hi. I'm planning to move to the city or somewhere closer. I'm a postgraduate student so looking for people who are decent and fun to hang out with. Being an IT student, I wouldn't say my sense of humour is that bad :P Other than nerdy stuff, I'm into sports, fitness, cooking, eating, and movies. A "balanced" life. I'm particularly interested in people who are willing to rent out a whole apartment for ourselves ( 1 or 2 bed ) which usually requires bond of around $1000 each. Hit me up on 0.4.1.2 if 8.0.8 you're 8.6.3 interested. Cheers :*
Hello! I'm Izzy, 24 year old architectural graduate originally from the UK but currently in New Zealand. Currently finishing my Masters in Architecture after which I will start working full time. Looking for a place for myself only. I enjoy working throughout the week but never one to turn down an excuse to explore Melbourne's cafe's and bars! I can't wait to move to the city, always been a massive fan and excited to settle in soon. I'm clean, tidy and always reliable with rent! I've always enjoyed living with other people, I find it a wonderful way to make friends and make the most out of any living situation. Although I like to work hard I also believe in finding a balance in lifestyle, so I enjoy relaxing as well as socialising in the home environment. I love any activity involving the sun, shops, eating, books and cocktails...
Hi! We're a couple of musicians (though not the loud kind!) looking to team up with some friendly, creative housemates. We've been together 5 years and living together for 4, both on our own and in sharehouses. Paloma is a fantastic cook and loves baking so this arrangement will get you cookies, guaranteed ;) She is beginning her Masters of Primary Education at Melbourne University this year. Joe is a piano teacher, composer and bandleader. Both of us are into board games, horror movies, and we're more into dinner parties than party parties. Most importantly we're stable, reliable, and easy to get along with. Plus did we mention the cookies? We're looking for a easygoing, friendly and respectful housemate or housemates who would enjoy sharing the odd bottle of wine at the end of a long week. We come with furnishings including fridge, couch, TV, dining table etc for common use. We're also dog lovers! Looking for a house/flat near PT to movie into near the end of February. Shoot us a message if you think we'd be a good fit together.
Hi, I'm Nur. I'm a Singaporean. I am an introvert person but I can socialize too (I am very friendly, depends on the situation). Sometimes I can be funny and I make stupid jokes. I love art and design. I'm a Freelance Graphic Designer (One of the reason, I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop). Also, I'm going to be a full-time student in RMIT University City Campus for Semester 1, 2017. Looking for an ensuite room (If available). Preferably in a 2 or 3 bedroom house with a smoke-free environment and strictly female housemate-only. P/S: I'm a very clean and respectful person. I love tidy and neat house.
Hi my name is Tamika! I currently live with my partner Aaron and friend Jacob. We moved here from NSW and after a falling out with friends we are now homeless but spending our money on hotels each night. We are loyal, polite people from a country town back home and are just in desperate need of short term possibly long term stay to get our feet on the ground and until we find our own place. We are tidy people always up for a chat. If anyone can help that would be absolutely fantastic!! Regards, Tamika, Aaron and Jacob.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I'm a very independent, easy going and active 25 year old. I work full time across two roles as a registered nurse and flight attendant (these days my roster between the two jobs is pretty standard now to 'normal-ish hours' 6:30am-2pm Monday to Friday - meaning I'm home most evenings with the exception of sometimes being interstate one or two nights a week) . When I'm not working I'm often at the gym, pilates or doing something active outdoors, out with friends, watching live music or happy to just kick back for a quiet night at home with a wine in hand and Netflix :-) I am looking for a private room in an established sharehouse with likeminded and easy going individuals (either gender) who are not party animals but equally enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh around the house and would be happy to enjoy a wine, dinner together once in a while.
I'm a happy, easy going, chilled gal with a positive outlook on life. Will be a full time student, studying arts at the university of Melbourne. Am making the move from Tasmania and can't wait to live in this buzzing, atmospheric city.

I am a soon-to-be 19 year old who is in second year for psychology and neuroscience at Swinburne Uni. I'm currently living at home in Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne to make the journey to uni much easier. I am very tidy, financially reliable and am quite independent. I'm happy to cook my own meals, do washing and cleaning, and I get along with animals very well! I am really respectful of others' privacy and am always happy to do my own thing in my room, but also wouldn't mind the occasional meal or drinks together too. My hobbies include playing music, games, keeping fit and binge watching tv series on Netflix. I enjoy going out with friends, but I'm not looking for a party house. My own room is a must, and I would prefer if it could fit a double bed and a desk comfortably. I don't mind sharing with people in their late 20's, and if it's just a two bedroom place I would prefer to share with another girl. Anywhere in the CBD or surrounding suburbs would be excellent - I really like areas like Brunswick and South Yarra. My budget sits around $200, with $250 being the max per week including bills. If I sound like a suitable house mate please do get in contact with me, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have! Thanks a bunch, Ella :)
We're both very easygoing soon-to-be film students at RMIT and come from a theatre background - we love all things music and performance related. Sean loves to play guitar and video games in his spare time, whilst I enjoy cooking, reading and watching films. We both like to be active and would also love the occasional housemate tea! We're clean, tidy and respectful people and are looking for an already-established share house as this will be our first time living in Melbourne :) Ps. We have many brand new home accessories which we can bring if required - particularly things that belong in the kitchen such as pots, pans, teacups etc.

This is why I definitely need internet and a desk and chair would be great too. I am ideally looking for something in the CBD as that is where I will be working.
I am quite chilled out, love cooking, exploring the area and general adventures. I am occasionally up for a wine or a super competitive game of scrabble. I'm interested in living with people who have similar interests and are clean, tidy and sociable!
