I am a masters student at UniMelb studying creative writing, publishing and editing. I will also be working part-time in my industry. I'm super laid back and would love to be chill with my flatmates and make it a positive living space for all of us. I'm Aussie but have only lived in Australia about 6 months now so I'm quite a newbie with things that may appear a given haha. Love movies a lot. Have many posters and desire to purchase more posters. Into anything a little artsy, always down to check out new things in the city and outside. I'm at Uni most of the day every day but I do like to chill at night, have a chat. I want to be semi-close to UniMelb's Parkville campus so anywhere in the CBD, Brunswick, Carlton, Flemington, North Melbourne or in Parkville would be great too. If there are bars, cafes, supermarket and tram nearby, even better! Looking around the $180-200 mark per week. If you have anything or want to team up, please let me know! Cheers!
I'm a laid-back Canadian who's looking to set some roots here in Melbourne for the next year. I'm quiet, clean and very respectful of other people's space. I'm not a big party person, but I'm very social and looking to make new friends. I'm currently a freelance writer and yoga instructor. I also have good references, if you'd like to speak to some of my past housemates!
I’ll be moving to Melbourne for work around the end of July. I’m very easy going but also neat and considerate. I’m friendly and sociable but I will also be working a lot, standard work hours, but also a bit at home after hours sometimes (just on my laptop and I don’t need any particular silence or anything). I’ll be moving by myself but my partner lives in Brisbane, so she will fly down and be staying with me maybe 2 weekends a month. I’ll also fly back to Brisbane about 2 weekends a month. So it will just be me most of the time, but I need somewhere that doesn’t mind a couple a few weekends a month. I’m pretty relaxed and am happy if you want to chat or have a party etc. Also if you just want your own space I’m ok with that too. I’m quite active and enjoy the gym and a bit of running. I also can cook and enjoy good eating (which is why I like the gym and running). I’m Australian and my partner is Peruvian and we both speak Spanish and English. So if you want to sweeten the deal with free Spanish lessons let me know.
I work as an engineer in Sunshine and sometimes in the City, am 27, love coffee and reading books and having good chats. I'm learning chinese at the moment, play basketball on Thursday, trying to learn hip hop on weekends, and generally try to keep myself busy. I work 9-5pm, sometimes past 5pm, Monday to Friday. Would love to be a part of a nice and interesting share house. Hit me up if that sounds good :), Michael
I'm on a working holiday Visa here from England until December. My flatmate is leaving in August so would be ideal if I could move in around the 15th. I work full-time, Monday to Friday, and like to explore Melbourne on weekends - one of my favourite activities is trying out new cafes. I love meeting new people so am fairly sociable. I don't smoke and drink occasionally.
Hi everyone! my name is Sarah, I'm 25 yo and I'm from Berlin, Germany. Currently I'm doing my master studies and will stay in Melbourne until the end of November for an exchange semester at RMIT. I would love to stay in Melbourne CBD and looking for nice people to share a flat with! I'm really tidy, clean, friendly and uncomplicated! Also I like swimming, going to the gym, exploring new cafés and restaurants, getting around Melbourne and meet new people. So if you have an offer for me I would be more than happy hearing from you! :) Cheers! Sarah
Im 26 years old and currently studying IT at Swinburne University in Hawthorn. Im very flexible when it comes to living arrangements as all i need is a bed to sleep and a space to do uni work. I love a good chat but also understand people need their own space (:
Postgrad law student at Melbourne Uni. I'm clean, undemanding, respectful of others' space, and usually sociable :) I love cooking, travelling, and just returned from teaching English in South Korea Looking for a private bedroom not far from Melbourne Uni 한국어 연습 해야하니까 한국어 하는 룸메이트 찾으면 좋겠다
I am a very easy going person. Not the sort to get in a huff about menial things, respect others right privacy but I also have a mean streak for board games and socializing when the time calls for it. You'd be hard pressed to find someone as hard to rile up as me! Id love to live with some well traveled internationals but outgoing people are equally as acceptable! Like all the cliches, movies, playing sport and having a nibble on a parma every now and then. Studying a masters in biotechnology at RMIT. Ideally need a place to move into next week!
Hi there! My name is Mollie - I'm looking to move to Caulfield at the end of this year/beginning of 2019 with flatmates in an unfurnished house. Little about me: I'm a third year Global Studies/Law student at Monash Clayton, and have a part-time job in politics. I've lived out of home since graduating high school. One year alone, and two years in a share house with two other people. My bills and rent have always been paid on time, and with the exception of a few stray magazines and books - I'm a very tidy person who understands the importance of a clean house. I'm a sociable girl, who enjoys meeting new people and trying new things but definitely need my own space and time. So I'll happily share a glass of red, but don't need a Monica/Rachel from Friends kind of arrangement out of a housemate to be happy. Hobbies include running, swimming, dancing and boxing. I love art, cinema, books and theatre. I'm a huge fan of television series, and religiously watch Game of Thrones, Younger, Condor, Handmaids Tale, The Good Place, and Brooklyn-99 (this is a non-exhaustive list.) I also really, really love clothes and have a huge makeup kit. If you want to know more, feel free to shoot me a message. Hopefully this gives you a bit of insight.
Hi there! I'm a working professional from Perth and took an internal transfer to Melbourne for work. I typically work from 7am-4pm and spend most evenings at the gym or playing sport. I am due to arrive in Melbourne on 21st August, with slight flexibility with that date. As a housemate I'm friendly, organised and willing to help out with keeping the house neat and tidy. I love trying out new recipes and meal prepping so I will often make extra for others. I also enjoy watching sport and kicking back with a cheeky drink with friends.
Hi I am an exchange student from Switzerland studying architecture postgraduate for one semester at UniMelb. I am respectful of others privacy and would love to live with someone who will be a friend as well as a roommate, I am laid back except very tidy. I work in hospitality therefore I tend to work at all different times and generally late nights or early mornings, I am however very quiet when getting ready or coming home. I love to bake and love to share that with others, I also enjoy going on adventures to find new places to eat, explore and have fun.
