Hi there, I am a lawyer moving to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to find a new place in or around the CBD. For my part I can commit to going onto a lease for at least a year. The start date is flexible in either direction. I am super easy to live with (fairly sure I have no annoying habits!) and have always got on well with flatmates. In my spare time I enjoy chatting about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts (or playing in them as a cellist), and cooking and baking. As for the boring but important stuff, I will have no difficulty with rental/bill payments and I always take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
Hi! I’m Emma, 30, British and brand new to Melbourne. I worked as an interior designer back in the UK and have some work opportunities lined up whilst I’m here. Keen to explore and see what Australia has to offer, and who knows this may become a forever home. I love to travel and experience new things/meet new people. I do have a great group of friends here but always looking to make new connections. I’m outgoing and sociable, love a night out but also enjoy the cinema and nights in. Love the gym and like to live an active lifestyle (gin and tonic in hand). As a housemate I’m considerate of others, tidy and really easy to get along with so looking for the same qualities in others. Anything else you’d like to know, send me a message :)
Hey everyone! A bit about me: I am friendly Melbourne local aged 26. I work typical 9 - 5 hrs as an economist and enjoy spending my spare time either with friends or playing sport/being outdoors. I enjoy heading out and having drinks/meals on the weekend with friends. What I am looking for: I'm looking for friendly housemates that are willing to create a communal environment. When home it would be great to enjoy the occasional drink together. I am open to having guests around - people are always welcome as long as the house stays neat and tidy. If you'd like to team up and look for a place please message me. I'm looking to move out in early March and share a house with 2 or 3 other people. It would be great if we could catch up soon before looking for a place. Thanks :)
Danielle and I have lived with lots of other people before and always being complimented on how easy we are to live with. We have done many housesits before so really know how to look after a place; very clean, tidy and respectable (we can provide references). We are ideally looking for a place to stay with a maximum of 2 other people, for six months at first with the possibility to extend. We love the sports and the outdoors, with both of us working in this sector. We are keen to go out and explore but equally enjoy a social drink over a board game. Feel free to give us a message, text or call.
My name is Carol, I'm a 23 years old girl staying in Australia with a Working Holiday visa. I have two nationalities (Spanish and Belgium) and now I'm working as a waitress in a big restaurant in the city. I spend a lot of time at work but when I come home I love to chill with my roommates. I'm friendly, clean and I love going out during my free time. (:
22 years old from New Zealand living in Melbourne for the past 6 months, easy going and like to keep my space tidy. work full time and like to go out when I can ( do enjoy a brew or two ) am respectful of other housemates and clean up after myself and enjoy a good bit of banter.
I have just recently graduated from university and am looking for somewhere new to live that is not too far from the CBD. Currently I work two part-time/casual jobs, though will likely be looking to find something full-time now that I have finished uni. I can be a bit of a neat freak and do like to live in a very tidy/organised environment. I'm looking for somewhere (or to create somewhere) that is tidy, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable to live in. Sharing similar views on these issues is very important. I do have furniture (fridge, couch, TV + table, washing machine, 2 beds, 2 desks, etc.) so would probably prefer to team up with someone else who does not have furniture (or with not much) to avoid having to pay for storage. Ideally I am looking to live with just one other person, but will consider 2. Let me know if you would have a suitable place or would like to team up and look for somewhere.
Hi, I'm Jen from England. I moved to Australia 8 years ago and I'm an academic manager at an English Language school across from Southern Cross Station. I've been living in a one bed place in Southbank for 18 months, but the owners want to move back in. I can move anytime, but must definitely be out by the 8th of March. I would prefer to stay in Southbank / South Melbourne area. I'm friendly, positive, kind, and keep my place clean and tidy all the time. I grew up in the military, so although I won't bounce coins on a bed after it's made, I equally don't like to live in filth. I generally work 9:00 - 5:00, but a couple of days a week might involve unpaid overtime... I like to run, see my friends the odd night in the week, or just chill in front of Netflix. I really like socializing over cheese and wine or wine and cheese. I would like to live with someone who can be a good friend; not just a flatmate. I have a large modular sofa bed, a smart TV with a sound bar, a washing machine, an outdoor table and chairs, an indoor table and chairs, and a queen size bed with a chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables. I would rather not sell the furniture so if you need some I can bring it with :)
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Hi! My names Leanne, I'm a 23 year old English Zoology graduate and also a yoga teacher. I'm currently working in Richmond doing admin at a construction company. I am very easy going, friendly and social but very respectful of personal space. I'm looking to move ASAP as my sublet is up.
Hi there, I'm a student from Barcelona (Spain) who will be doing an exchange for 6 months (February - July), here in Melbourne and I am searching for a place to stay. I would prefer to share a place with people who is laidback but active, happy and clean. If you think I can fit in your place, let me know!!
Dear Future Roommates! We are two Danish girls living in Aussie for the next two years. We are both very social and easy going. We will be studying our Masters in Melbourne City at La Trobe University and Swinburne University. Emilie studies Global Business Law and Kathrin studies Visual Media and Communication. We thrive when around new people and we are therefore preferably looking for a big shared house with its share of roommates. Our doors are always open and we are always up for a pint and a good banter!
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin and I'll be graduating in May next year, then headed overaeas for summer school so I'm only looking for short term accommodation. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out occasionally (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. Not keen to live with kids or dogs (sorry!) and I'd like to live close to a train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line OR the 70/75 tram. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
Hey I'm Hannah, a recent business graduate who is relocating to Melbourne from Sydney at the start of February for work. I would say I am a pretty easy going, tidy and fun person to live with. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, getting outdoors and catching up with friends over a coffee or a glass of wine! I am looking for a nice place to call home with like minded people, so if you think I would be a great fit at your place, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, I'm Gurleen, 23 years, I've just moved from Adelaide to Melbourne for a full-time engineering position. During the week, I like chilling out at home, watching Netflix or reading a good book. I'm planning to spend the weekends exploring Melbourne, socialising and having fun. I love being outdoors and trying different things. I'm looking for a like-minded housemate (or housemates) that I can have a great conversation and share a good laugh with. I am chilled, honest, tidy, respectful and caring, and would enjoy living with people who are on the same page as me. Would love living with people who are sociable and are always up for a chat, but also equally respect each others' privacy. Preferred length of stay: long-term (6+ months)
I'm moving back to Melbourne after one year away. Originally from NZ I have lived in Melbourne before and miss the lifestyle so much I am coming back. Full time employed teacher, interested in a friendly, quiet but social place to call home. I am out and about in the weekends and the school holidays but generally chill at home on weeknights after going to the gym. I’m looking for a clean, relaxed place to call home.
Hi! I am a happy positive person who loves being social but I'm not a party person at home. I work full time but also study and do research. I am respectful, helpful, busy, and clean and tidy. I also go to the gym, swim and want to start Latin dance again. I have a car and so will need a space to park it safely.
Hi! I'm a 25 year old Norwegian who studies Master of International Development Practice at Monash University - Clayton Campus (so good train/tram connections are important). I'm easygoing, friendly and tidy. Looking for a room in a share house with a good and sociable atmosphere :) I love travel, photography, movies and books, as well as going out once in a while. I'm also an animal lover, especially dogs, so that would not be a problem at all. Currently living in Oakleigh South, but would like to live more central.
Hello! :) My Name is Alesia and I am a very clean, fun, outgoing and a respectful Canadian female who gets along with everyone! I'm looking for a chilled place to stay in Melbourne starting mid too late January for the next couple months while I'm here on my second year visa and working full time. I love staying healthy and being active outside, going to the beach, having fun and of course the occasional party and cheeky beer or glass of wine! ;) I am usually out and about most days with mates and not really much of a home body. I'll also be working and visiting friends in the area most weekend, so if you're looking for someone who can give you your own space, keep the place clean and is also super fun and easygoing, then I'm your girl! :)
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
