I'm 26 and work for a Big4 accounting firm, during the week I’m pretty busy with work so generally quite quiet, usually go to the gym before work and then not home until after 6-7 most nights so it's just cooking dinner and catching up on the days news/tv/sport. Weekends are fairly laid back with watching/playing sport, catching up with mates or off exploring Melbourne. I like to keep a healthy lifestyle so I cook pretty regularly but clean up after myself, I've got a good sense of humor, and always up for a laugh/chat if someone wants to have one.
Super easy to get along with, respects others and their space, enjoys nights in and nights out. When I'm not working I enjoy dancing, going to classes at the gym (really want to get into Muay Thai once I find a place to live), creating, baking, chilling watching Netflix and hanging out with friends. Move in date is flexible and budget is a little flexible- just need a sweet place to live asap!
Hey my names Seth I just moved here from Nsw, I work construction as a contractor, I’m friendly I work a lot so I won’t be spending much time at home, I also clean up after myself and keep my living space as clean as possible.
Heyy! My friend Arthur and I are looking for 2 bedrooms around Flinders, South Yarra, Prahran or even Windsor. We are both French speaking good English, we are tidy, clean and respectful towards our housemates. We gonna stay at least 3-4 months in Melbourne for sure. We always enjoy meeting new people and we hit the gym quite a lot haha please feel free to ask for more :)
I am moving to Melbourne from Far North Queensland to study Accounting at Swinburne Uni. I'm told I have a good sense of humour. I have travelled in India and Europe and I am very independent. I can cook basic meals and clean up after myself. I will socialise when appropriate but can also keep to myself. I have family in Melb. but none that I can stay with. ATM I am on Crutches for a broken heel and will be for another 2 months. Can still get around but need to be close to transport. Look forward to hearing from someone who wants to house or flat share.
Hi, I am Melissa, Melbourne born, work for an Oil company as an Office Manager in the inner suburbs. I dabble in photography when I have time. I love cooking, the outdoors, travelling, pilates, gym, hiking, the beach, time out with friends and live music. I generally work between 9.00am & 5.30pm but tend to head to the gym/pilates before work and out for a walk around the Tan, Botanical Gardens or down the beach, if not catching up with friends for dinner or a live band! I am not home a whole lot so out the door early and back late evening during the week! I am looking for a new place with housemates that have a good energy and drama free! A place I feel comfortable in and can call home. I am out a fair bit doing my own thing, but sometimes like time at home to chill watching a movie, cooking, baking and spending time on my photography. I am house-trained, pay bills on time and easy to get along with! I cook my own meals as I do have food allergies and know to be a health freak! I do love to experiment with baking sometimes so I may need you as my guinea pigs to sample the treats! A sense of humour and respecting each other is a must in the household! Be nice to have housemates that I can chill with at home, have a few laughs a drink and a meal with on a regular basis. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Ideally looking to have a place locked in to move into as soon as possible for a move in date at the earliest of 20 January, 2018. Would prefer housemates in their late 20's to early 40's. I am very young at heart but not one for bring the party home! My ideal areas are close into the city such as Richmond, Abbotsford, Windsor, Prahran, South Yarra, Port Melbourne, Armadale and surrounding suburbs, ideally short walks to the train station and trams. Would like a large room that fits a queen bed and other small furnishing comfortably. Also have some items that I may need to store some kitchen items food processor and couple other small electrical goods etc as I am keen cook/baker so will need some pantry space for home made creations! I am relocating as I am in the city and surrounds regularly, move to work closer and my friend I currently live with is moving in with her partner, so it makes sense to relocate closer into the inner city suburbs! Feel free to message me if you have a share place available or you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household! :)
Justin & I have recently returned home after living overseas the past 4 years. We spent 2 years living in London & almost two years in Canada (Whistler & Banff) we have done a crazy amount of travel with lots of stories to share. We are currently living back at home (Kilmore) but wanting to move into Melbourne to be closer for work. Justin is a fully qualified Sprinkler Fitter and I am a full time Nanny who is looking to start a Diploma in Childcare. Justin and I are a great couple to live with as we always clean up after ourselves and keep everything tidy. We are very friendly and easy to talk, love to be social but also like our quiet time and respectful of our housemates. We are very organised and always have our rent paid on time with no hassles. We work full time but love our weekend adventures whether it be out for the day or away for the weekend.
Hi Luke, I’m 27 and moving to Melbourne for work on the weekend. Looked for a furnished room in a share house with one or two other flatmates. I’m super clean and love cooking up a storm. Will be heading back to Sydney every second weekend, with my girlfriend coming down to stay with me every other weekend. Love having a beer so would be great to have a flat dinner or a quiet couple during the week :)
Hi I'm Dana, I'm 27 and currently working full time in North Melbourne M-F as a Client Relationship Manager. I'm pretty social the weekends, enjoy a wine or two with friends and a yummy restaurant ... every now and then I attend a CX works class at the gym and pat myself on the back for the next month. I have been living in a share house situation for over 6 years and am used to sharing space with people and keeping it neat and tidy.
Billy (the other half) and I are both Irish, mid-twenties, very social and just new to Melbourne so keen to get settled. I work as an event manger and Billy's in construction but in our spare time and weekends we are mostly at gigs, sporting events or out with friends! Easy to live with, both very clean and always keen to help out around :)
French-Canadian looking for a place to stay for the next 6 months. Very laid back and tidy Have an interior design background Not a party person but I am very sociable Love to drink vino during weekends and evenings Love to go to new adventures Love to travel Love to cook
I’m fun loving, respectful and neat ... love books and good music... a great chat over wine but also a quiet stroll in nature. I’m not too keen on having a pet in a shared house as I’m allergic unfortunately. Also looking for a place with my own bathroom. Happy to team up with likeminded people asvthere seem to be lots of properties with real estate agents.
Easy going and quiet. On a WHV. Christia is a designer, love nature, love reading and a vegetarian. Christina loves to sing, interact with people, nature. At times we love our alone time but in general we are very friendly, kind, clean and tidy.
Hi all, I moved to Melbourne in January 2017 after living in New York City for a few years and then traveling around South America. I work full-time in the CBD and am looking for a private room in an apartment or house that is close to a train station / an easy commute to the CBD. I'm a fan of walking to places. I will be staying in Melbourne long term. I'm pretty laid back - I love going to festivals, trying new restaurants or bars, going dancing, hiking, and exploring everything that Melbourne has to offer! I am also always keen for a quiet night in watching Netflix and drinking wine. I'm looking for a non-smoking and no-pets place. I'm clean, respectful, and have 10 years of experience of living with roommates. Look forward to chatting with you! Sarah
Hi! I am a clean, happy person starting my first year of study at the University of Melbourne. I love cooking and baking and would love roommates that are happy to share a few meals during the week. Bonus points if you have a sweet tooth! (I make some mean cheesecakes!). I do, however, enjoy my own downtime. I love a good chat and would enjoy a roommate I could be friends with. In my free time I love curling up with a good book or movie and would love someone willing to watch TV or movies with me. I also enjoy my music and going out to see concerts and musicals when money allows is always a treat! I am a huge animal lover - I've lived with them all my life and grew up on dairy farms where I have always had pets. I am a respectful and open-minded person with an easy-going attitude who sings and dances a lot (quite badly, which would provide you with entertainment I’m sure). By the way, I am currently living in Tasmania and will be relocating for university so my move date is flexible until the 12th of February. And as a by the way, I do tend to swear a lot. Mostly without meaning to where it just slips out, but I thought it best to share that with you.
I'm a currently studying at Swinburne University in Hawthorn. I work two jobs in Frankston, where I currently reside. For fun I like to catch up with friends at cafes , bars and music gigs , although I also like staying in and chilling. I am clean, neat and friendly. Always willing to give a hand and help out when needed.
Hi I'm Emily, currently studying Psychology at Deakin Uni Burwood. I love to meet new people and socialise but I also love to have my alone time. Cleanliness is important to me and I always try to be respectful of others when in shared accommodation. I would love to have a friendly relationship with my housemates :)
Hi everyone, I'm Sam! I'm a PA/accounts for an insurance broker, enjoy working out, photography, movies and food haha. I'm friendly and always up for a chat. Looking for a chill place to live, not phased if it's with guys or girls ☺️
Friendly British/Brazilian couple looking for a 4-6 month place in Melbourne to enable us to be nearer to jobs (Anna works in hospitality and Fernando in construction). We just want to be able to save some dollars and enjoy the beautiful city! We like the simple things - great food, cold beer, reggae music. We are clean and respectful, always do our dishes and like to keep things tidy. We're animal lovers but sadly don't have any pets in Oz with us! We both enjoy nature and the outdoors but sometimes nothing beats a night in with a glass of vino and a movie :)
Hey! I'm Clementine. I work full time for the Victorian government, I'm 26 years old and have lived in Melbourne for about 25 of those. My current housemate is moving away, so I'm looking for a room in a share-house in inner-East Melbourne or CBD-ish, or a fun group of people to put together a share-house of our own! Wanting to move around mid-Feb to mid-March. I'm super relaxed, I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy, I love to get out on the weekends with friends or have people over for chill backyard drinks. I'd love to live with people who can have a bit of a chat over dinner/weekend brunch, but still want a bit of privacy to binge a Netflix series in bed every once in a while :P Looking at max $250 a week for myself, depending on the places available. I have enough furniture and appliances to pretty well kit out an empty place, so that could help. Feel free to get in touch if this sounds good to you, and we can chat about details :)
Sian and Drew are a rivaled country couple, beating the odds and both in favour of vegemite over marmite. Drew is an avid yoga instructor and encompasses all things yoga including man buns, avocado smash and words of fortune-cookie-like encouragement. Sian helps manage an over populated cafe in the heart of Fitzroy and spends the rest of her time petting her beloved cat Pip (included) and trying not to kill her indoor plants (stay tuned). Both vego, both enjoy the odd vino tinto, both hoping to do lots of travel and entertain our fellow comrades with a high level of sarcasm and laughs whenever possible. Like to think we're very easy to get along with and not huge party animals. Looking for a humble abode to share with some fun, loving people. Willing to move in earlier or later depending on what works for you :)
Hi! I'm a lawyer looking for a place in or near the CBD. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to rent. Move-in date is flexible. I'm originally from Melbourne but have spent the last couple of years working at a court in Canberra. I am super easy to live with, have no annoying habits and have always got on very well with flatmates. As a full-time worker, I'm well attuned to the need for space and quiet time. I'm also very responsible with rental/bill payments (I managed all outgoings at my last place) and with keeping the place clean and tidy. In my spare time I enjoy talking about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts, and cooking and baking. If you are interested in teaming up, please feel free to send me a message so we can have a chat about our preferences.
I'm studying full-time at Swinburne Uni doing a BA in Professional Writing and Editing. I am clean, tidy and organised. I'm a really good cook and like cooking for others. I keep to myself for the most part and I tend to be fairly introverted.
