We're two actors and a law student - all creative, easygoing, fun people who are looking to create a house where we can balance work/study with play (board games, beers, and boogies). We're looking for a third person/couple to join us to apply for some houses and to go on a lease. Would love to hear from you if you're interested in making a real home, a social home and also sanctuary for us to relax, recharge and feel safe to create and do whatever we wish. Looking for three bedroom houses for less than $600, or 3 rooms + study for up to $650. Ideally we'd like someone who'd be cool with us having friends over now and then and maybe a party on occasion, but also who respects each others privacy.
Hello, I’m looking for a room to rent in Prahran, Windsor, South Yarra, Southbank Or St Kilda. Ideally the closer to The Alfred hospital (Prahran) would be best as I’m studying there. Or alternatively looking for someone else to share a 2 bedroom apartment with. I’m a student who also runs a semi lucrative side business. Money isn’t an issue so I have no trouble with paying rent and bills on time. Can provide a reference for this too. I’m a busy person and easy to get along with. So if you need some time alone or nights alone, just communicate and we could work something out. I have a cat which I wish to take with me. He’s black and white and very domesticated and sweet. I’m very laid back, non judgmental, respectful of others, clean up after myself and have interesting stories to tell. Get in touch if keen xx
We are a fun, chilled out couple. Up for a drink but also like to chill out and eat nice food! Looking to stay in Melbourne all year and potentially longer of a sponsorship became available. Keen to move in ASAP and to settle properly in Melbourne

Hi there! My name is Jen. I'm a 34 yr old professional looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a new space with. I recently started a new job in St Kilda, so want to move closer to that area and looking for someone who wants to look for a new place, too (Or an established home that suits). I'm not home a lot as I work pretty long hours, have a house full of furniture (sans washing machine, or whatever you need in your room), and two lovely cats who are exceptionally loving and friendly (Dog pictured is not mine). Their sort of like puppies in cat suits! I'm very easy-going, love to travel, play board games and have a chill old time. I'm not the kind of person who plays loud music until all hours of the night, so totally open to living with a shift worker. I am clean and tidy, but not a neat freak. I don't mind if the dishes get stacked and then a load done in the dish washer, I don't mind if you put your library of eclectic books in the living room, or leave your scarf on the couch. Honestly, we're both paying for the space, feel free to live in it. That being said, I think there's a nice balance between 'lived in' and 'outright messy'. I'm a great communicator, so always open to chats and talking about whatever comes up. ( Please take into account, if moving into an established place, I'm cool to get rid of as much furniture as needed).
Hello there! I will be studying in RMIT, interior design course, and may consider working part time . I spend my time alot by watching movies and playing video games so unlimited internet is reaaaally needed! hahah. I am house trained, clean and is particular about toilets haha! I like to be organized, am respectful and also would love to meet new people, get some drink and talk. If you think I might be the right housemate for you, do drop a message if you're interested! Cheers x
I am a neat and organized person with a great sense of humour who is really into video games and programming. I mostly keep to myself and enjoy the occasional netflix binge. I will be studying at RMIT.
Hi, my name is Declan and I'm a labourer looking for a place in/near st Kilda. I'm looking for a private room and if you have more than one available I would be able to find someone else to join. I'm a friendly guy who loves music and socialising but looking for a nice place to relax. Thanks
Hi! I'm a fun and sociable 22 year old male studying at Monash and working part-time as a paralegal. I'm looking to share a place with a group of friendly and like-minded people around my age who enjoy a good balance between having a clean and respectful household and a few drinks and a boogie on the weekend. I'm super easy going and hope to find a sharehouse with a warm and fun vibe. Must be LGBTI friendly or we wont get along.
We have just moved here from Ireland. Leaving our jobs as a web developer and account manager to try a bit of something new! Having been told Melbourne is the place for us by a lot of people we are excited to experience the lifestyle! We are both social and fun people. We tend to spend our week days working, exercising, reading, watching Netflix etc. and our weekends going to gig's or festivals, digging thru record stores, having a beer or coffee and hopefully exploring our new city! If you would like to know more, just message me.

Hi there, I am a lawyer moving to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to find a new place in or around the CBD. For my part I can commit to going onto a lease for at least a year. The start date is flexible in either direction. I am super easy to live with (fairly sure I have no annoying habits!) and have always got on well with flatmates. In my spare time I enjoy chatting about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts (or playing in them as a cellist), and cooking and baking. As for the boring but important stuff, I will have no difficulty with rental/bill payments and I always take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
Hi! I’m Emma, 30, British and brand new to Melbourne. I worked as an interior designer back in the UK and have some work opportunities lined up whilst I’m here. Keen to explore and see what Australia has to offer, and who knows this may become a forever home. I love to travel and experience new things/meet new people. I do have a great group of friends here but always looking to make new connections. I’m outgoing and sociable, love a night out but also enjoy the cinema and nights in. Love the gym and like to live an active lifestyle (gin and tonic in hand). As a housemate I’m considerate of others, tidy and really easy to get along with so looking for the same qualities in others. Anything else you’d like to know, send me a message :)
Hey everyone! A bit about me: I am friendly Melbourne local aged 26. I work typical 9 - 5 hrs as an economist and enjoy spending my spare time either with friends or playing sport/being outdoors. I enjoy heading out and having drinks/meals on the weekend with friends. What I am looking for: I'm looking for friendly housemates that are willing to create a communal environment. When home it would be great to enjoy the occasional drink together. I am open to having guests around - people are always welcome as long as the house stays neat and tidy. If you'd like to team up and look for a place please message me. I'm looking to move out in early March and share a house with 2 or 3 other people. It would be great if we could catch up soon before looking for a place. Thanks :)
Danielle and I have lived with lots of other people before and always being complimented on how easy we are to live with. We have done many housesits before so really know how to look after a place; very clean, tidy and respectable (we can provide references). We are ideally looking for a place to stay with a maximum of 2 other people, for six months at first with the possibility to extend. We love the sports and the outdoors, with both of us working in this sector. We are keen to go out and explore but equally enjoy a social drink over a board game. Feel free to give us a message, text or call.
Hi everyone im Jess. Im a 28 year old Brit hailing from Manchester. I am about to start my 2nd year working holiday visa after spending my first year in Sydney. I work in the Hr industry and moving to Melbourne mid Jan. I am really laid back with a dry sense of humour. I enjoy/need my own space and privacy and am really considerate when sharing a living space. Mostly my partying days are behind me (with the odd exception) but enjoy a eating dinner out/having bbqs/a few beers on an evening or weekend and am not a complete hermit. I like wandering around the city exploring, lazing in the sun (when its out!), movie nights and attempting to keep fit. Love animals so happy with places that have pets. I would prefer a lease 3 months minimum at the moment but would hopefully extend. Also would need a furnished room and definitely dont want to share a room. Looking forward to seeing what Melbourne has to offer :)
My name is Carol, I'm a 23 years old girl staying in Australia with a Working Holiday visa. I have two nationalities (Spanish and Belgium) and now I'm working as a waitress in a big restaurant in the city. I spend a lot of time at work but when I come home I love to chill with my roommates. I'm friendly, clean and I love going out during my free time. (:
22 years old from New Zealand living in Melbourne for the past 6 months, easy going and like to keep my space tidy. work full time and like to go out when I can ( do enjoy a brew or two ) am respectful of other housemates and clean up after myself and enjoy a good bit of banter.
I have just recently graduated from university and am looking for somewhere new to live that is not too far from the CBD. Currently I work two part-time/casual jobs, though will likely be looking to find something full-time now that I have finished uni. I can be a bit of a neat freak and do like to live in a very tidy/organised environment. I'm looking for somewhere (or to create somewhere) that is tidy, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable to live in. Sharing similar views on these issues is very important. I do have furniture (fridge, couch, TV + table, washing machine, 2 beds, 2 desks, etc.) so would probably prefer to team up with someone else who does not have furniture (or with not much) to avoid having to pay for storage. Ideally I am looking to live with just one other person, but will consider 2. Let me know if you would have a suitable place or would like to team up and look for somewhere.
Hi, I'm Jen from England. I moved to Australia 8 years ago and I'm an academic manager at an English Language school across from Southern Cross Station. I've been living in a one bed place in Southbank for 18 months, but the owners want to move back in. I can move anytime, but must definitely be out by the 8th of March. I would prefer to stay in Southbank / South Melbourne area. I'm friendly, positive, kind, and keep my place clean and tidy all the time. I grew up in the military, so although I won't bounce coins on a bed after it's made, I equally don't like to live in filth. I generally work 9:00 - 5:00, but a couple of days a week might involve unpaid overtime... I like to run, see my friends the odd night in the week, or just chill in front of Netflix. I really like socializing over cheese and wine or wine and cheese. I would like to live with someone who can be a good friend; not just a flatmate. I have a large modular sofa bed, a smart TV with a sound bar, a washing machine, an outdoor table and chairs, an indoor table and chairs, and a queen size bed with a chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables. I would rather not sell the furniture so if you need some I can bring it with :)
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
