A little about me... I'm 32. I moved to Melbourne in April. I'm a personal trainer and crossfit coach but also work for lululemon the clothing brand. yes lots of active wear. ahaha I love going to the gym, yoga and keeping active. But also enjoy coming home to chill out and occasionally binge watching netflix and cooking a good meal with roomies and friends. My heavy partying days are behind me but i don't mind the odd night out occasionally. I'm never one to bring the party back, i'm more likely to smoke bomb from a bar before the after party is thought of. I'm respectful of people's space and privacy. Im a believer in having the house neat and tidy and smelling nice. i'm currently house and puppy sitting until the 11th of August so need to find a place ASAP!! I've never been kicked out or been late on bills in other previous house sharing. You'd be very lucky to have me live with you :):) My previious jobs include carpenter, cook in a fine dining restaurant in canada and a daycare teacher.
Hi there, I'm Laura, I've just moved to Melbourne from Hobart. I'm a nurse and will be working part time fully rotational shift work. I am neat and tidy to live with, happy for some housemate hangs or to do my own thing. I love to travel and love going to music festivals and gigs. Always keen to check out a new brunch spot. Looking for a room around the Northcote or Clifton Hill area.
I'm escaping the Sydney rat race and moving to Melbourne! Arrive in Melbourne on 24th July. I've got some friends in Melbourne, but looking for a house where I can make some more! I'm typically pretty busy with work, trying to get to the gym, and trying to cook healthy dinners, but always partial to a sneaky glass of wine or beer every now and then, and it would be cool if my future housemates were the same! I want to find somewhere I can call home, relax, chat about the day/life, but also respect others privacy. Oh and I can totally clean up after myself. On a weekend I'm into live music, catching up with friends, getting out in nature (are there beaches in Melbourne?!), and perhaps a beverage or two.
I think in a flatmate it is important to have someone who can roll with the ups and downs of living with complete strangers. I am unfazed by most things (apart from racism, homophobia, misogyny and flat-earthers... it's round guys), will give anything a try (within reason... sorry, line-dancing is not on), will cheerfully help when needed, will sit down and discuss any problem over a beer/wine/coffee/tea/milo, will share a good bottle of wine and I accept not everyone has my same taste in painfully dull art-house movies.
Hi I'm Leah I'm from Ireland I'm 27 really friendly and easy going. I am clean and respectful of other peoples space! I work casually for a agency call centre admin work usually Monday to Friday work. I like to chill on weekends maybe head out one night over the wknd. Love Netflix binges. Or chilling at home with some wine. Love going out walking. I am a smoker but would always smoke outdoors.
My names Dan, im from England and I arrived in Melbourne about 3 weeks ago following 8 months travel. I'm currently in a temporary apartment but am looking for somewhere to settle for a good few months. I've had a job confirmed and I will be working north east Melbourne, so somewhere near to the station to get on the hurstbridge line and not too far front the CBD would be ideal. I'm a social, friendly person and after the long stint travelling I'm looking to be working hard during the week, saving money and enjoying relaxed weekends. I love playing football (soccer), keeping fit, travelling an eating good food.
im an esy going person working and studying full time. im just looking for a nice, tidy and chilled place to live where i´ll be abke to relax and also share some good times with flatmates. i love cooking and i dont mind sharing a beer from time to time.
Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
We are two easy going people, who care about humans and are compassionate and respectful. We love going for walks and enjoying the nature. We like to get together with others and share a good meal and chat, possibly with a little wine/beer and a board game. We've both rented for the last 5 years are reliable with our pay and tidy up after ourselves. We understand others need for downtime, as we need it too. If we catch your interest, write a message and we can chat over Skype. (Required since we currently live in Denmark) Cheers, Rune & April.
I am reliable and considerate, quiet and cooperative. I enjoy the company of others, at the same time I like my personal space. I am easy going and Iighthearted. I appreciate a nice walk or a good conversation. I am not wasteful but I do not leave waste around the house. I turn on the fan when I cook so food odours do not linger on our clothes and bedding. I make sure electrical applicances are turned off before I leave the house to prevent a fire hazard. I respect our shared space by keeping it clean and tidy. If and when you have any concerns or problems, I appreciate you talking to me about them to eliminate any misunderstanding and work things out so we can live happily and comfortably. I want to come home to relax and feel like it is home.
We're an outgoing lively bunch of students from India studying at RMIT and Monash and looking for something close to the city. Priya - I'm outgoing, a fun personality , enthusiastic , very adjusting , ready to experience almost anything, chatty. All this said, I know when someone needs their space. I respect all kinds of belief systems. I am an avid reader, sports and photography enthusiast. I play lawn tennis regularly and play the keyboard. I love animals and kids and flowers and all things nice. Sandeep- I'm from bangalore, India and study Supply Chain at RMIT. I like keeping to myself and peace and quiet for the most part. In ideal sharehouse for me would involve an inclusive place where everyone contributes to the living environment. I'm quite reserved, but when you get to know me and feel that instant connect, you're in my circle forever. I am photography and travel enthusiast. Priya and I would like to share a room. Ishita- I study Design at Monash and am from Delhi, India. It's been a semester for me here and I'd like to meet more new people and have varied experiences. I am passionate about photography and travel. I'm social, love to chat and get to know people at a personal level.
Hello! We are from the states and looking for accommodations until mid September! We both love to travel and meet new people. We are both working and keep to ourselves, however we would love to get to socialize with whomever we live with :) We are very respectable of other's spaces and keep quiet but do enjoy watching movies and relaxing after work days.
Hi everyone! I'm looking for something furnished and short-term for three months up until the end of October as my summer plans are uncertain. I'm happy to look at subletting for shorter periods between now and end of Oct too, so please get in touch if this is you! I'm flexible as to area but I need to be near public transport. I don't have a car, but somewhere safe to lock up my bike would be great! I'm Australian, currently studying a Master degree full time at RMIT and working part time. In my spare time I like hiking, cycling and dancing. I'm friendly and considerate of flatmates. I love travelling and I've seen a lot of the world and have lots of flatmate experience! (Before coming to Melbourne I lived in Peru, Chile, UK, Ireland...) I don't watch much TV but I watch a few docos and the occasional movie or footy match. I prefer to live with people who are environmentally-conscious. Any questions just get in touch! Thanks for reading :)
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Thanks:)

Love life and socialising and always up for a chat and hanging out but also love my down time and privacy so will be respectful of having some space too. Easy going, neat and happy person that loves to get home and put on PJ's to relax and especially love watching SBS on demand on my iPad. Love cooking just not every night. Secure employment and can easily demonstrate trustworthiness if needed. I usually spend one day/night over weekends with friends and family on the peninsula and usually out one night a week catching up with friends. Clean living - no alcohol or drugs. I haven't house shared for some years but enjoyed the experience when I did, so am looking forward to a new chapter.
I'm just returning home to Melbourne after living & working in London for the past two years. I'm a respectful housemate and am familiar with flat-sharing as is the London lifestyle. I love to cook (mostly Asian food), love a wine/beer/laugh/chat but also equally enjoy alone time. Mid-week I'll often gym then relax watching Netflix & weekends I like to explore. Having not lived in Melbourne for years I'm really excited about re-discovering the city & finding new (and old fave) bars & eateries to love.
Hi guys, We're Chris (26) and Kay (25), a couple from London who have decided to move to Melbourne for a new experience and way of life. We've both lived and worked in London for the past 4 years. Chris is a digital marketing manager and Kay works in PR/Comms. In our spare time we love exploring the city we're living in, checking out the latest restaurant and bars. We enjoy getting along to a gig every now and again and Chris is fairly into sports (cricket, tennis, golf). We're looking for a sweet place to settle down in Melbourne for the foreseeable future and are open to where we live. If you have anything that could be suitable then please drop us a line!
Hello there potential flatmates of Melbournia, I am a full time young professional who will keep the fridge stocked with hummus. I've been living in the heart of the city for quite some time now but as anyone who has lived in the city knows...you must work to live. So I am ready to move out of the hustle and bustle and into the outer suburbs. As a flatmate you can expect Netflix marathons, a bit of a laugh and someone to go out for coffee with. If I sound like a good fit for you feel free to message me!
