Yo, I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne in early 2017 for a gap year (or two) before going into Uni, and i'm just saving up in the meantime. I'm really into comics, anime, games and writing- but I love getting out and going to music events, exploring the city with people and just casual socializing (I can't... sum up all my interests in this, but I swear i'm not dull and i'm open to enjoying lots of things!) I'd prefer a place with chilled out and open-minded people, and while I do value my own time alot i'd definitely be down to spend time with housemates- going out, having movie nights at home and things like that are things I love to do! Looking for a somewhat lengthy stay so I don't have to be constantly moving around and to feel established somewhere. Budget, suburbs, and move date etc are all just close estimates as most of it will change by the time I move- which should be around March but i'm just starting to look early. :)

I'm into many different types of music and movies. I want to do a lot of adventuring while I'm in australia and I really enjoy heading out for drinks. Also very into sports! Hi! After working as a lawyer in Amsterdam for 4 years, I have decided to move to Australia and to find a job as a lawyer in Melbourne (so I'm still unemployed but hope to have a job soon). During university, I lived in a fraternity/sorority house and after that I lived with friends, so I'm used to living with different people and used to cleaning (definitely no hosophobia but I like my house clean), chilling and doing fun stuff with my flatmates (having beers, watching stupid TV shows, cooking, going out etc). I'm super easy going, I don't complain much and I'm not the most noisy person in the world so very easy to live with. Again, I like my beers and to go out but also love sports (running, swimming, rowing, cycling, surfing, boxing) and music (from 3-day music festivals to playing piano and learning to play guitar). I have already arrived in Melbourne and currently staying in a hostel. I'm looking for some nice flatmates (preferably in a furnished flat)! As regards moving date, I'm flexible Not really a plan how long I will stay, could be 4 months or 4 years. Who can help me out? : )
We are 3 friends looking for a house to move in around 20th Dec. We all very easy to along and hygienic i think these are the most important characteristics one will look in anyone for flat sharing.
Hey there! my name's Bianca. I'm a Tassie gal who is a uni graduate and I'm moving to the big smoke in late December/early January to do legal prac and then work as a baby lawyer. As a person I'm very chill, social, like to share the odd meal and have some banter in the house. At the same time, I'm good at respecting everyone's space and down time. I am clean, reliable, and always pay rent/bills on time. I'm not too keen on throwing ragers in the house every weekend but wouldn't say no to heading out for a few bevs. Other interests include wine and netflix, fashion and styling, pretending I'm on an episode of MasterChef and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and keeping fit (or at least attempting to do so). As I will be new to the city I'll also be out exploring a lot when I'm not working. If I'm the type of housemate you're looking for, feel free to hit me up! x
Hey guys! I’m a 28 year old originally from Perth, WA. Earlier this year, I relocated to Melbourne after spending 2.5 years in London. I work in recruitment full time in the CBD. I consider myself very social, friendly and easy going. I lived with some great people in my share house in London and am still very close mates with them all! I am ideally looking to live with people who enjoy a laugh, don’t take themselves too seriously and want to go out for a drink every now and then. I am also very respectful of people wanting their own privacy and space. I am a tidy flat mate and an average cook (but I give it a crack). I love sport (both playing and watching) including soccer, AFL, cricket and basketball. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers, Justin

We're from a small town in NSW and still adjusting to life in the city so we're hoping to find room mates who can show us around a bit more than what we have been doing. We're both in our second year at uni studying science, Claire at Melbourne Uni and Kaylee at Monash Uni. Thanks!
Hi! We are Nick and Emily, a 27 year old couple keen to find some new housemates and an awesome new place. We are originally from Adelaide but have been living in Auckland for the past few years. Emily recently landed a job in Melbourne and moves in January and Nick will follow suit either in late January or early February. Both work full time - Emily as a lawyer and Nick as an accountant. In terms of time frames, we are hoping to land a place from early February and will be looking to sign a new lease with other housemates. We both really enjoy fitness, keeping healthy and are very social. It would be great to find housemates that are keen to have the occasional family meal, share a bottle of wine or a movie. On the weekends you will usually find us at the gym, having drinks with friends or watching the mighty Adelaide Crows. We enjoy a clean house and are always happy to do our bit to contribute!
Hey my names Michele! I currently live in Richmond but looking to move over toward the St Kilda, South Melb, Port melb area! Would love to be closer to the beach & closer to my work in South Melbourne too. I'm pretty active, like to go to the gym 3-4 times a week, get out & about on weekends soaking up all the great free festivals & events Melbourne puts on this time of the year! I like a Friday afternoon drink in the sun to unwind after work & chill out with friends/colleagues/housemates. I keep my wines for the weekend & am a 9 - 5 girl. I'm in Finance so sometimes work an evening seeing clients but rarely! I'm pretty easy going, clean & tidy, like a good conversation over a nice glass of red & looking for a house that has a good "vibe" with like minded young professionals. I don't mind sharing meals every so often I think that's nice in a house share but not a regular thing as I like to eat pretty healthy & you might not be into that! Free to catch up after wok or on weekends, Mish
*Looking for FEMALES only 🙋🏼 Hey I'm Olivia, A 22 year old female who moved to Melbourne about 4 years ago to pursue football (soccer). I consider myself an approachable and friendly pseron with a strong sport/fitness background. So I would love a housemate or two that shares that passion as well. If not, that's totally fine as I am quite the girl outside of soccer, as I work in retail when I'm not studying my butt off. When I'm not studying or at the gym/soccer I pretty much doing nothing other than have a wine at home, attempt to cook or watch Netflix. So I really am after a partner in crime to explore Melbourne with on their days off. House wise obviously I'm more than happy to put in with chores etc. But I'm after a place that's sociable together and not someone who is going to blow my ears out with music and parties every weekend. HAHA 😂 I also better throw in here that I do have a cat! She has lived indoors her entire life and actually has a letter of recommendation from a past landlord, so she won't be an issue securing a place. Enough rambling, just ask if you wanna know more! 😊
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney (so I am living in Sydney at the moment) however I will be making the move to Melbourne over the Christmas break. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
I am an easy going female who keeps to herself. I have lived in many different share accommodations so find it easy to adapt. I am currently training for my first fight in boxing so I dont drink or party just like to live life to the fullest and enjoy the simple things. I currently work part time in a family business delivering fruit and vegetables and receive centerlink benefits. I recently received The diploma of community services ( AOD & Mental Health) and will be looking for work in this sector in the new year. I am looking to move as soon as possible as I am currently living in doncaster and it is to far away from my commitments and friends :)
