I'm a timber furniture maker moving back to melb to work. Have been living the country life on our family farm. I own a corgi so I'm after somewhere that dosnt mind accepting animals. I'm clean, respectful and easy to get along with. I generally keep mostly to myself but am happy to help out in house chores and hang out with housemates for a meal. Into art, design, nature and good food.
im a kiwi looking to live ideally with one other. I am self-employed in HR & Recruitment, mainly work on site with clients but one or two days from home, but that is totally negotiable. Our landlord is moving back into our house in Spotswood so I am looking for somewhere in the surrounding areas. I'm very house trained and like to treat flats like homes, I am not fanatical but it is important to me to live somewhere that is clean ;) Love the gym, netball etc I am pretty active person, but love some down time later in the week with wines, beers or gym. 2 years into living in Melbourne so love to learn AFL rules ;) Would love to move in with someone who is somewhat social but also enjoys their own space. I'm not looking to share a room Or live in a huge houseshare! I have a few household items, a fridge and soda-stream ( I live for sparkling water!) but can store the big items if necessary. Have all my own bedroom furniture including a queen bed so looking for somewhere that can comfortably fit that!
I'm Molly, i'm 20 years old. I study Journalism at Swinburne University and work full time for an independent pet company called Henley & Co where I honestly spend most my day playing with dogs! Between uni and work my weeks fairly busy, but on the weekends I love socialising with friends and having some fun, yoga and enjoying the outdoors, but I'm also a sucker for a good book and cup of tea! I come with a catch though...I have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Gus! He is the most gentle, placid, most loving and friendly dog. He honestly just loves love and will want to be your best friend! He is house trained but also loves to be outside, but he comes to work with me everyday anyways :)
I work full time so the evenings are quiet. Pretty sweet wth paying bills on time and if there’s ever a mess, I’d keep it in my room. Enjoy banter and the occasional drink at the pub. Can be social but also like my quiet time. I’m basically a great Kiwi export. If you’re into anything except AFL, we will get along fine.
I'm moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in France. I work as an English language teacher, and am hoping to continue this when I move back. I'm also considering doing a Masters degree starting next year. Ideally I'd like to live with 2-4 other housemates, of mixed genders. International and French-speaking housemates would be great too! but definitely not a requirement. I've lived in sharehouses in Melbourne and overseas before and loved it. As I'm slowly transitioning to a more plant-based diet, it would be great to find a place with a small veggie garden, even if just to grow some herbs ^^ I like both dogs and cats, so living with either wouldn't be an issue. I like socialising throughout the week and weekends. I practice yoga, go running, and play the piano. My interests include reading, travelling, and languages. I'd consider living in suburbs other than just the ones I've listed, so don't let that put you off :) I'd be working in the CBD so I can be a bit flexible in regards to location. Move-in date is also rather flexible; anytime in July would be great as I get back to Australia on 26th June.
Hi there! My name is Ashley & I’m from California. I’m on a work/holiday visa & am currently working as a live in nanny. My family is coming to visit the first 2 weeks of July so I will be staying with them then, but after that I will be entering a new role & am looking for a safe, clean & flexible place to stay! I’m a very easy going, respectful & tidy person. I’m generally out & about most days, so I very much enjoy a quiet, comfortable space to come back to. I love to cook, go out to eat & stay active.
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 22 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a full time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 2 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Hey! I'm Damien. I'm 22 and currently working full time for local government. I am all in for house dinners, drinks as well having chilled nights in. I'm tidy, follow sports, enjoy catching up with friends and checking out gigs. Been traveling a bit with my most recent trip to South America.
EDIT Hi my name is Stu, I am a 37 years old and single. I work as a Mechanical Technician making me a technically proficient type cat. I work day shift with the odd weekend and have been at the same job for 7 years. I am a colossal nerd in my down time and get out into the sticks as often as possible. I am friendly, housetrained, respectful and quite chill. I have friends in the area that I like to hang with and can go from being a hermit to being apart of the flat crew seamlessly. In the right circumstances I can talk bollocks for hours :)
Hi! I'm Liam, a 25 year old guy looking for a room! I semi-recently (start of the year) finished my bio science bachelors and am currently working part time at a grocery in Yarraville while doing the odd paid/volunteer work mainly in ecology/ecology education. I've been living in the inner west for about 6 years, before which I lived in central Victoria (Castlemaine) during high-school. I moved down for TAFE and stayed for Uni'. During my down time, I'm generally hanging out in my room relaxing. Alternatively, if there's an occasion (and I'm not picky!) I'm happy to have a drink, either at home or otherwise. I also like to garden and grow what I can, particularly chilli peppers. I'm generally fairly quiet and try to keep public spaces clean. I always try to get my dishes done after I use them, you're not going to catch me leaving a pot for a week for example! I'm looking for a fairly relaxed household, with my own bedroom. I have a queen bed and a fairly large desk so I'd like a medium-large room ideally. Ideally I don't want to be paying much more than around $700/mth, with less being better. That said, if bills are included then there's some wiggle room. I'm looking for a six month lease, with the potential to go a couple of months more if required. That said, if we all really get along then I'd probably be happy to keep going. Move date is flexible. I'm a social/one after work kind of smoker, although I've been looking to quit and a change of scenery might be just the ticket. Thanks for having a read and if you've got any Q's then feel free to hit me up!
Me as a person: I'm pretty chilled, open minded and common sensicle. Always up for a good old fashioned brain storm aswell as a healthy dose of respect for space and privacy. Can take and give a joke and like to be around people I can be myself around and vice versa Me as a housemate: also super chilled open minded and common sensicle. I dont expect anyone to clean up after me. I keep common areas clean and clutter free and always happy to do my share of cleaning. Looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy
G'day guys, Looking for a few friendly folks to share with. I'd love to find some people that either know the area, or are willing to explore. I work 9am-5pm in the city, so any location that is convenient to get to the city is good for me. I mostly keep to myself, but if we hit it off I'd be just as likely to chill out with you.
