I'm a friendly, respectful and reliable housemate, who pays bills on time and is happy to do my share of the chores. I love to have a chat, share a cheeky glass of wine (with the occasional bit of cheese) and a good Netflix binge, I also do my own thing and enjoy some downtime throughout the busy working week. I work in the city Monday-Friday, in a crazy busy government job, as it can be quite a stressful role, I like my home life to be stress free and easy going. I am fairly new to Melbourne relocating for work from country Vic, and a new life in the big city. I am currently living with my cousin, who is the bomb! but as her partner is moving in i need a new place to call home.
Im a post-grad early 20s with a stable job. I clean up after myself, pay my bills on time and always accidently make 4 extra portions of pasta. I'm creative, down to earth and easy going. I tend to be quiet but I'm always up for a chat and a laugh. Looking for a friendly, respectful space and like minded people to go with it.
Hi there i'm looking for a nice space for myself and my bulldog to call home. I am a professional female working as a Nurse in the CBD and also run my own business (beauty) a couple of hourse a week, so if there were a small study or garage i can use for that, that would be great! My dog stays inside and sleeps with me however is well house trained and has lots of love to give. I am super clean, (vacuum everyday type of girl) friendly, easy going and respectful of others privacy. I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, dinner and drinks out with friends and living a happy and relaxed lifestyle. I am pretty settled and in routine, i won't make noise when u go to bed and hope for the same from you. I have a full house of brand new furniture that i am happy to bring with me. Payment of rent and bills has never been an issue and i am happy to provide professional references. My friends would describe me as funny, outgoing, kind and ambitious. Looking for a like minded person to share a home with who can tolerate my love for dogs and would enjoy free beauty treatments. I really can't live with sloppy, messy people so please don't contact me if you aren't house proud! I am willing to pay slightly more if i find the right place with people who believe a safe, happy and comfortable living environment is of great importance and know how to interact with dogs as I would like him to be part of the house-family! Thankyou :)
Hi all, I work full time in finance in the city, looking for somewhere to live inner suburbs of Melbourne for around 3 months maybe more if all works out. Very clean and respectful, im into my fitness and currently training for my first marathon. Happy to hang out and have a drink too :).
I'm a Norwegian who's been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. Back home I used to work as a school psychologist, but left my life there to be a stay-home-dad in sunny and warm Australia. Had a few amazing years here with my two kids and a lot of gardening! The last year I have been doing some casual truck driving in and around Melbourne, mostly just to get back into "real life" I guess. Being in the midst of separating from my wife, there's a lot of loose threads at the moment. I'm looking to buy something in the next 6-12 months, but need to get a more stable working-arrangement going first. Having said that, my finances are more then decent and I always pay my rent on time :) As a person I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I'm into gardening, cycling, movies, books and the occasional bottle of red wine. I also plan on taking up rock climbing and yoga in near future. I like the company of others and wouldn't mind sharing dinners every now and then, but I do appreciate my own private time. My two kids (4 yr old daughter & 5 yr old son) will live their mum in Yarraville until I get set up properly, but obviously will come by every now and then to hang around a bit and maybe spend a few nights if I can fit them... You'll love them! Thanks for reading!
Chilled, neat, organized and respectful. I work full time as a Telecommunications Technician. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, photography, movie/TV and traveling when I get the time. I'm happy to stay 6 months and may extend further at the end of the initial length of stay.
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I'm very open minded keen on new adventures and very easy going clean and respectful of others , on my path of self discovery very lbgti freindly

House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hi all! My name is Jess and I’m 18, working permanent part-time at Crown so my work hours tend to make me not be able to arrive home until 3am but I haven’t woken up the baby I currently live with once! I live quite a fit/healthy lifestyle, I’m quite a social person and I enjoy going out but I also love to curl up and watch movies all day or even sleep all day (because of work hours) I’m pretty easy going and everything so give me a message if you want to know more etc etc!
working part time as a swim teacher and also a receptionist at a local fitness center. i am quiet, tidy and respectful, i enjoy fitness but also lazy days in bed. I'm good to chat with. i have two cats that have to move with me, they are both lovely cuddly cats that are 100% house trained.
Easy going full time working professional currently based in Richmond and working in the CBD I enjoy going out for meals and drinks with friends. Love sports and am an avid Geelong Cats supporter. Been in Australia for 14 years now and counting. Looking for like minded individuals to share a place with. I keep my environment clean and tidy.
I'm a hard working professional in the film industry. I've been living and working in Melbourne for the past 25 years but need a new place to stay for a while. I work freelance and I'm about to start on a feature film which will mean I won't be home very much during the week over the next 4 months. My hours can be a bit like a shift worker, I'll definitely have night shoots during this time. On the weekends I like to go for runs and play bass guitar (not too loud!), and most likely go out and hang with my kids. I love a laugh and a social drink, (doesn't everyone?)
Hey, I'm Leanne. I'm 32, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm pretty knackered after a tough day at work so I don't get up to too much during the week. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I like a few drinks and to socialise but also like time to myself. It would be nice to have housemates to share a beer or 2 with and the odd dinner... I'm moving out of my place as yet again I'm the only person that's doing the housework... I'm not ocd when it comes to cleaning just normal! Unfortunately my last 2 houseshare experiences have been with dirty lazy housemates, I'm hoping this is gonna be 3rd time lucky! I've got a shy, timid cat called Frankie who is well behaved and house trained. She'll be a cool housemate too 😊
I work full time as language assistant in a secondary college in the Western suburbs. I am looking for an accommodation for the next few months of my journey, during which I'd like to make new friends. I am very sociable and respectful, I am not looking for a party house but for a place where I can both enjoy my quiet own place and make new acquaintances.
I am a full time high school teacher who has recently moved to Melbourne from Queensland. I am clean, social and easy going. I am respectful of other peoples spaces because I would like them to be respect of my but I enjoy being able to have a decent conversation and the ability relax in front of the television with a beverage every now and again. I am looking for people to live with who have similar qualities and who are willing to teach a new comer about this wonderful city.
im 36 and currently living in melton but am looking for a place much closer to work.ive spent the most part of my late 20's travelling the world&getting the travel bug out of my system.im from melbourne originally but have lived in sydney, byron bay and the gold coast.but ive worked in hospitality for the past few years in altona and work kinda weird hours.i dont get many weekends off work but when i do i like to chill out and take it easy with a beer and enjoy the rare saturday or sunday off work either having dinner with friends, watching a movie or just whatever life throws up.i LOVE dogs,i think theyre the best animal, but as i do work weird hours if you could txt on initial contact it would be awesome as i may not be able to answer your call. thanks :)
Just a bit about me I am an extroverted person who is ready for a conversation any time. I sometimes can get into a conversation , as long as it is constructive for both parties and can end up talking for hours. But I always respect the space of the other party and knows when to leave the space as well. I love to cook in kitchen and can make a mean pasta, varieties of Asian food infused with my own fusion and twists in recipes. I love to not only cook but also make dinner for the friends and housemates with whom I share an abode. I can easily clean up after myself and a responsible person. So in the end, I am simple, honest, responsible 28 year old guy who is looking for a quiet interesting place to stay.
I am a clean, tidy, respectful and easygoing person. I am an English student and I have a part-time job as a housekeeper. So most of the time I am very busy. When I am at home, normally I am a quiet person that enjoys watching tv or playing in my laptop. I love animals.
Hey I’m Caitlyn, I’m moving down to Melbourne for a year for work. I am a very tidy person, and come from a large family so happy to be the house cook. I’m very friendly but if you are a quiet person I will happily leave you to your own vices. I will be working full time in Laverton but am okay with houses further from these suburbs if they’re close to the train line. I bring with me a whole house worth of furniture so all you require is yourself and some bedroom furniture. I will also be bringing my lovely cattle dog with me, who is too friendly for her own good. She has been in households with animals before and gets along well with all animal types. Thank you for reading hope to hear from you soon : )
Recently relocated from Queensland to Melbourne for work. I am easy going, friendly and clean, looking for housemates with similar personalities. I work 5 days a week and i'm looking for somewhere I can chill out, relax and cook on weeknights. Weekends I will mostly spend out exploring Melbourne. I'm always up for a chat or a movie, but I will mostly keep to myself. Looking for accommodation until 31 Dec 2018. Must be fully furnished. Prefer female housemates, and someone comfortable with my boyfriend staying 2-3 weekends in the 6 month period.
I am an easy going 29 y.o. guy, I am pretty active and always on the go. I enjoy movies, the gym, travelling and hanging with mates. I am very respectful of others, very clean and tidy, I am not boring but not a party animal either. I work full-time Mon-Fri (Mechanical Engineer). I also enjoy making new friends. Looking to move in with roommates of similar age. I will be able to do inspections during the weekend as I am tied up with work during the week. Cheers...
Hi there Everybody! I'm Joel, a funny 22-year-old Italian guy coming to Oz in June! I'm looking for a place to stay for an amount of time yet to be decided, most likely 3 month to a year. I am extremely easygoing, relaxed and generally a person you can hang out with. I have previously lived in a shared house and, because of that, I know both when to leave space to housemates and when to contribute in houseworks. For contacts, write me on Flatmates and I'll be quick to respond! Looking forward to hearing from y'all!
Canadian cook moving to Melbourne for a year on a working holiday visa. I’m pretty tidy and keep to myself. I work long hours so I’m unlikely to be around for much besides sleeping. Looking to meet new people and experience everything the culture of Melbourne. In my spare time I try to stay active and outdoors but I also enjoy nights in watching Netflix and gaming. Always up for a drink and good music.
Hi my name is Izzy, I am currently looking for another place to live as my lease here runs out at the end of this month! I am a 23 y/o NZ Maori girl, who's been living in Melbourne a little under a year. I am currently working as a Wholesale Supervisor for one of Melbournes Seafood Centres. Im Full-time and I work night shift so youll find I'll be either home during the day, or out and about finding things to do! I love my music, I come bearing my trusty old Guitar (I love to jam every now and then.) Love hanging out with my friends over a few quiet beers. I know how to cook mean feed! (Us NZers know how to cook and how to Eat!) lol I also know how to wash, dry and pack a dish as well as keep all general areas tidy and clean. I pay my bills on time, and like to think of myself as a genuine trustworthy peron. Although I like to hangout and share a meal with my Flatmates, I also love my downtime and will definitely respect your privacy. I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Izzy
I work long hours, starting at 400am and finish around 600pm. Im direct, honest, genuine and very respectful of other people but in the same sentence I lack the ability to care about people who wont help themselves and just complain. There is always a solution to any problem, even if its a painful and hard decision that needs to be made. Im very laid back and love to joke around and have a great sense of humour. I do like meaningful conversation as listening to what others have to say develops my minds abilities and helps me to discover new directions in myself. A chance encounter with another soul can open up many doors that lead into so many different directions. Im an open book but by nature I am a private person and I do like my own space at times. I guard myself accordingly and I can be selfish and unforgiving but if I don't look out for myself who will. I enjoy movies, reading, dining out, nature, animals or just catching up on sleep. I try to live a simple life free of complications and attachments. I need very little in life to function and survive and this works for me so you can be whoever you wish to be and I wont blink. I would like to find someone wanting to team up and rent a property of any type that we can both agree on and to share the expenses of rent and bills. Ideally 50/50 split of all the expenses but Im flexible and for the right person we can discuss further. If we found a property with additional rooms we could add other people to lower the expenses but one step at a time. I work in Laverton North and would like to live close but willing to go that little bit further on the location if its means a nicer property and also finding someone who will pay there expenses on time. If your interested contact me.
