I'm an Australian guy who's very social and easy going. I'm currently looking for roommates with similar interests and social aspects. I'm a pretty active guy who's into sports and keeping active by going to the gym and getting outdoors. I work casually as a bartender and a freelance personal trainer to get through university, so I do like my personal space after long shifts and respect my housemates space and quiet time also. I am tidy with my possessions and clean regularly to ensure I live in a presentable house. Being a university student, I like to socialise over a few beers when I'm not stuck with my head in the books and I'm always down for a party.
My name is Matthew, I'm 24 years old and work part-time in Williamstown; I have also graduated from university so I'm also looking for full time work. I have been renting and house sharing since i left Ballarat at 18 for uni and get along well with all kinds of people. I'm quiet, respectful and considerate of others and i'm looking for a similar environment. My interests include sport, TV/film, video games and cooking. I'm not too keen on big house parties although I'm happy to share some social drinks in the arvo every now and then.
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student at ACU (Currently studying Speech Pathology). I've recently moved out of a full time care position (living in the persons house)... So am looking for something pretty soon. I’m looking for something long-term and a safe place that feels like home. I’m neat, clean, friendly, easy-going. I enjoy BBQs, gig’s, shared TV show watching, films and music. I'm introverted, but like socialising. I can be a little quiet when I'm stressed. I like plants and the outdoors. I'm very much into respecting others and their space/peaceful living. I have a cat called Froot. He’s a Bengal, which means he’s non-allergenic. He lives indoors because he's a bit of a chicken :P I'm a relatively busy person. Definitely, not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm organised, with a steady income + rent assistance. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation. I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with my bedroom furnishings, a couch, coffee machine, desk, bookcase, outdoor table that could be dining table, an extensive DVD collection, TV, sound system, plants and am grabbing more house stuff soon. So send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something Would be great to hear from you! Anything else you'd like to know feel free to ask 🙂
I am just starting off my career in engineering and have to live away from my fiancé for a while. I spend my free time playing games, anything D.I.Y and of course going out for a drink or two with some friends. I love barbeques and anything chilli. I also love watching movies and a range of series. I am neat and tidy and I like putting things back in their place. I am usually up for a talk while also being respectful of everyone's space. I like meeting new people and finding out about things that I have no idea about. Apparently i also like writing in short sentences =]. I am patient, have a good sense of humor and quite open minded. If anything I've said sparks an interest, let me know =]. P.s. - Must have space for pet/pets.
Looking to get a place early April in the areas listed above. Hoping to find a housemate to team up with. We will be able to furnish the place. Both full time professionals who keep pretty busy through out the week. Looking to acquire a 3 bedroom place to live in
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner and have a history of jobs so getting a new one won't be something to worry too much about. I tend to keep to myself but I've been told I have a nice sense of humour and will always be down for a good conversation. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her.
I am clean, respectful. Not a party animal. I am currently located in Racecourse Rd. paying $100 in rent in a single room. I am looking to move to a closer location as I am working early mornings as a Baker in Clarendon St. South Melbourne. I would like a quick inspection and if all goes well a move-in date in the near future.
I've been working as a counsellor in a couple of places to start my Masters in Psych very soon! I'd love to find a house, like a "home" with people similar in age to me. I'd love to have a balance of fun and quiet/private time, I'm not a huge partier, but when I do I keep it in town, not at home. I'd love catching up with a few drinks, and chats each day or so. Hopefully find some compatible people around the town to share with :)
Hello lovely people of Australia! I hail from the Rocky Mountains in the US where I learned to love the outdoors. If I can see new places, meet new people, and learn about new cultures while maintaining a kind and open minded approach then I'll be content. After finishing my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree at Montana State University I set my sights on "The Land Down Under", the perfect place to pursue the aforementioned goals. I'm approved for a working holiday visa and I've already submitted applications for full time employment in Australia. In a country this size I'm aiming for a more long term, personal feel for the places I travel to, rather than bouncing around randomly. While I am adventurous in the outdoors, no need to worry about any excessive partying, alcoholism, smoking, drugs etc. I am very respectful of other's property, and privacy; and I will seek to ensure the living situation is beneficial for all parties involved. If you'd like to add a touch of class to your living arrangement look no further. Hope to hear from you soon! Trevor
Hi everyone! My name is Kate and I'm from Canada (lets admit that's a great start - who doesn't love Canada...eh?). I have been living in Melbourne for the past 6 months and I will be here on a student visa next year, as well as working full-time. I am a professional dance teacher and choreographer, and a writer as well. I am very clean (more of a "I scrub the bathroom once a week but I don't sweat the small stuff" kind of girl. I love to cook, have a glass of wine, a good chat, and I'm easy-going, and I'm looking to live with people who have a few of those things in common.
When I am not teaching children how to swim or studying teaching and environmental science, I like to immerse myself in unfamiliar cultures both abroad and in Australia, spend time in all natural environments, cook and share food or a tea with family and friends, widen my knowledge of health and nutrition, and discover new ways to live more sustainably. I am fond of living in supportive and positive environments with friendly people and if you wish I am open to sharing tea, food, emotions, moments, experiences and adventures. In saying that I also value time by myself. :)
I'm a hygienic and respectful young female. Single with no children. Love to create a home wherever iam. Good communication skills. Fluent English. Always happy. Huge believer in personal space.
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place start of feb but pretty flexible with a move in date as I don’t need to be out of current place until end of March.
We are a fun couple who enjoy meeting new people. We are both recent commerce graduates. We enjoy outdoor sports, like our downtime and are very relaxed! We have relocated to Melbourne from Perth. We both enjoy a drink or two but can just as much enjoy a night watching the bachelor! We are both working part-full time. We are also clean and respectful of personal space which makes us very easy to live with!
I am very easygoing, homely and have been house-sharing in Perth for two years prior to my move to Melbourne in April 2017 for work. I have two well-behaved teenagers week-on/week-off who spend much of their time when home gaming. I work full-time in CBD out Mon-fri 7am - 6:30pm - enjoy my independence and often out walking/cycling or spending time alone writing / painting etc. so you get plenty of space. Only looking to share with one other - either single parent (kid friendly), or mature person, and we would need two bedrooms in the Houseshare and I have full furniture etc. I also have a cute cat for snuggles. Current lease ends May and looking to team up and find somewhere together which does take a little time to organise.
I am a responsible and reliable 32- year old woman who loves to keep organised and active. Currently I am a post graduate student who is respectful, clean and easy going. I am looking for a private room in a house with those who are genuine, open minded, and honest. I enjoy socialising, sharing a meal together and relaxing over a wine, though equally enjoy my quiet time. I appreciate the arts, nature and diversity. I will be completing a Masters so will be fairly focused. If you feel you may have a suitable place, please make contact to arrange an inspection time.
Hi there! We are looking for two awesome people to do a team up with a move into a house in the Yarraville, Seddon or West Footscray area by the first week in Feb. About you: We are looking for two awesome people to do a team up with. We’d love to live with people who enjoy living in a share house meaning sharing being social with other housemates by sharing meals regularly, having housemate adventures and experiencing things that Melbourne has to offer together. We are very social people so someone who sits in their bedroom all the time when they’re home probably won’t like living with us. We do respect balance though and someone who has other hobbies in their free time outside of the house environment but who enjoys socializing once they’re home gets extra points! We love if you have a have good sense of humour, are clean, tidy and respectful. Get in touch and have a chat if this sounds like a house environment you’d enjoy living in! About us: We are two friends Lily and Caitlin. Lily, an Engineer, working full time, who is a green thumb in the garden, loves cats with personality and hiking. Lily also loves experimenting in the kitchen and going to the local farmers market regularly. Caitlin is likely to be a student for life, currently in her third year of Osteopathy however is also an exercise scientist and works part time. Caitlin loves early mornings, yoga and hiking. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
We are a young couple both working full time (caitlin - a teacher, James - physical performance coach) who enjoy making new friends, trying new and different experiences and keeping healthy and active. We are both respectful of other people and very easy going. We have experience living with others and have traveled extensively in a variety of accommodations so we are very adaptable and lots of fun. We will assist with any cleaning or house maintenance as we value a clean loving environment.
I am a current education student who adores good coffee, conversations and finding the unusual, local things to do in an area. I work a few different jobs and get involved in many things including but not limited to a choir, my uni's arts and education society and volunteering at the Substation. This means I am busy but I do love some good chill out time with a movie or a sleep in. I am LGBT+ friendly and love pets- I do sing a lot though so please be song friendly! :) I try my best to be social and do my share in the cleaning too... I like washing dishes better than vacuuming but whatever works.

I'm very responsible, reliable, easy going and drama free guy . I'm a full time worker(6 days a week) and I study 2 days a week and I go to the gym almost every day so I get home usually after 9pm. Hi I'm Kirstin. I'm English girl been living in Melbourne for the past year, mid 20s, I work full time in healthcare. When I'm not working I'm off exploring. I like to keep fit so often in the gym or out for a run. I'm easy going, sociable, clean and always up for a chat. Currently on the hunt for a new place to call home. House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I'm 24 and am looking for a place somewhere near Laverton. Having graduated this year, I have found FT work (teaching) and need to move out as I currently live more than an hours drive from the school. I like to think of myself as relaxed and carefree but will obviously be diligent when it comes to paying bills and keeping the place in decent order. I enjoy my sports, playing music and reading. Ideally, I'd love to live with others who are preferably sociable but are similarly respectful of each other's private time.
I am easygoing clean and tidy person.i dont drink or smoke and i am looking to find a room for rent preferably with women

Also am a physiotherapist so you may end up a guinea pig at some point :D
Hi! I'm a smoothie maker, chai drinker and yoga klutz. I'm vegetarian, love animals and always up for a chat, a night out or a good old Netflix session. I'd love to find a place to call home, where good vibes and zen spaces mix together✌ Looking for a place for 6 months, and maybe longer! Hope to hear from you!

Hi! I am a 22-year-old girl that grew up in country Victoria, however, have been based in Melbourne for the past 3-4 years while studying my degree in Occupational Therapy. Last year I spent a bit of time travelling/living in many places, but I recently landed a new full-time job in Melbourne so I am looking forward to settling down into a new home for a little while (Happy with a 6 - 12month lease at this stage). I enjoy coming home to a tidy place and someone to chat to about our day. I am usually a bit of a busy person and often find myself filling my afternoons and weekends with things to do. I like to live a moderately healthy lifestyle, however, don't mind a wine-or-two to wind down or celebrate. In terms of what I do for fun, I generally like to try new things, love the beach/water, socialising, exercise and also cooking! (which could be a bonus for you if you are willing to try my creations!) I am MORE than happy with having pets around however can be allergic to some breeds so I guess we can discuss that. So I guess I am just looking for a group of flatmates that share a common interest in creating a happy, tidy home and new experiences. Thanks :)
