Hey future housemate! My names Justin, I'm a 31y/o guy from melbourne. Im into surfing, hiking ,yoga and the great outdoors, but also appreciated a chilled night on the couch. I work full time in the city during the week, and generally start my days pretty early getting into town on the push bike (weather permitting). Im pretty clean, relaxed and easy to live with kind of guy, ive been in a few share houses before so im aware how important respecting each others space can be. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a relaxed, friendly, fun and clean house with respectful and social house mates. Would like an outside space, sharing with two others, male or female, somewhere around my age. Well, this has been great, get in touch if you’re feelin’ my vibe! Juzzy.
Heya, I'm Loki. Currently working in Melbourne while freeloading on a friend's couch. Would like to find somewhere smooth to stay and pay while I save to go overseas. I'm super minimal, the move in and out will be easy, pretty much rock a backpack and that's it. I'm out as of Aug 13 so would be a short term gig. I like comedy, MMA, being out of the house and fun Get at me Peace
Im a young at heart 44yo non smoker. Just moved to Melbourne from Perth and looking for a sharehouse near work in Altona North. I am very tidy and respectful of others and very laid back, non judgemental and easy to get along with. I am a health ans fitness fanatic but I do enjoy a social drink on my days off. I love being outdoors and I love getting out on my SUP board, seeing live music and sharing good food and wine and good times. I will be working very long and varied hours and I spend a lot of time at the gym or out and about so I wont be a piece of the furniture at home but I'd still hope to be social with my housemate (s) where possible. Hoping to find some chilled out shiny happy people to live with. 😊
Hi, I am moving to Melbourne on 11th May. Will be staying in hotel for couple of days and exploring all option before finalizing my new place. My preference is to have a furnished place but unfurnished will do too. No room share. I am IT professional with 10 years of experience under my belt in various cities. Although I am looking for place for myself but in 1st 7-10 days there is another who will be staying with me to help me to settle down in this new citi. Going forward it will just be me. I dont have any local friends so there is no chance of house party. About me... responsible, fun loving, happy, friendly professional who has lived with roommates all adult life. I respect others privacy and can also be a shoulder to cry if needed. I am into yoga, meditation, outdoor sports, cooking and ofcourse occasional beer. Please get in touch if interested.
Hey! My name is Ted, I'm looking for people to live with. My current lease is ending in the next few months and I'm looking to find a new place. I work full-time as a teacher, so that means I can handle some responsibility. I have a girlfriend who has her own place, I will often stay at hers but she may occasionally stay with me. I love football and don't mind the occasional drink but you wont see me having weekly benders. I'm very open to talking, it's part of my job! So you can always rely on me to listen to you wind down after a long week. I have a strict "don't shit where you eat" principle which basically means I prefer not to piss anyone off. Saying that, I generally keep to myself and am usually quiet, but always up for sharing a dinner and drinks. I'm very busy tutoring and footy training 4 nights a week, so you've basically got the place to yourself/ves. Ideally any property I am looking for would have space for my items (mostly outdoors stuff so needs a balcony or a backyard). I wouldn't mind a "spare bedroom" to act as a mutual study also but it's not required. Cheers Ted
25 yo. Recently graduated in electrical and electronic from Swinburne Uni. Continuing my part time job in the catering business until I find a professional engineering career that suits me. Paying rent on time isn't an issue. With my lease at UniLodge over, I'm willing to relocate. I like to think of myself as an ordinary INFJ wanting to realize great dreams. Currently educating myself on the realm of entrepreneurship and hoping to have my own start up one day. While I appreciate privacy, I also feel housemates are a 'family', away from family. In my last 4 or so years of living in shared accommodations, I've made sincere friendships which I truly value. I lead a alcohol/smoke/drug free life. Plus, I find animals adorable so if there's a pet at home, it'll find a good company. And oh, I don't leave my dishes go stray. : ) I have a thing for modern aptmnts/units and I'm not much fussy about the suburb tbh. Happy for anything in between 30km radius from Melbourne I guess. Happy to team up and start a house. Cheers!
Hi, My name is Ivan :) I am 40 years old and orginally from Spain, and lived in Australia for 3 years now. I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne. I am very clean, organised and respectful of people privacy and space. I enjoy a good chat and like to meet new people. I prefer to share a flat or house with 1 person, preferably on the above ground floor. I also like to live in a clean and tidy environment, a place I can call home. Kindest Regards! Ivan
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi, I'm Dennis and I'm looking for a place around Footscray Park that would take me at most 20 minutes to get there on a bike. I’ll be moving in in the beginning of July. Anywhere will do. I'm from Kenya and I'm quite social. I love playing video games, music, watching movies, reading comic books, novels and manga, meeting new people, learning different cultures and trying new stuff. I'll be happy to respect the privacy of potential housemates and I'll also need my own space once in a while. If possible, though, let’s do fun stuff like taking trips, cosplaying, starting a band, building planes, starting book clubs (haha), attending social events, etc. I can cook and clean. I'll be happy to help with housework if need be. I don't have pets, but I wouldn't mind living with them. I don't smoke, though, so I'd prefer housemates who either don't or do it in private.
I'm 26 years old, work Full time Monday - Friday and am your standard clean, friendly, easy going and genuine housemate. I do however come with a lovable and adorable old Tabby cat who is more like a dog, she gets along exceptionally well with humans but not with other animals unfortunately. I like the occasional wine or bottle over dinner or catch ups as well as liking and respecting each others alone time. I love music, movies, Books and can't go without the morning Coffee. I do currently live on my own, so i do have a full one bedroom apartment worth of furniture for those who may want to team up to start a new place or if any furniture is needed in a current place.
Nice and Gay. I'm a postgrad student at RMIT city and looking for a private room in a suburb which is within 30 min by direct public transport to city. Move date ASAP. I'm a bit sensitive guy and expect the same from the house mates, so if you or someone in your house is outspoken, cranky, insensitive or short tempered please do not contact. Can team up with other like minded people to lease an apartment in South bank. Scammers on here please leave me alone.
Working in Footscray at VU and away from my family and looking to find a nice room instead of traveling up and back to Traralgon daily. I'm committed to paying the weeks rent however I won't be staying every night as I'll head home to the wife and kids a fair bit.
I cook, I clean and I'm quiet. I really need to move out of my parent's house and move somewhere nearer to uni. I'm easy to get along with (I think) and I don't like confrontation. If I'm doing something you don't like TELL ME and I will stop straight away! Most of my spare time is spent at work or writing assignments!
I work as a volunteer coordinator, study at RMIT, do a radio book club for lesbians and like watching scary movies, drinking tea and hanging out with my excessively handsome old cat Sebastian. I'm an experienced sharehouser and ideally looking for a household where everyone likes spending time together. Intersectional feminist, antifascist, queer as hell and vegan (happy to live with meat eaters)!
I'm 24 year old financial adviser currently studying a master is in financial planning. I'm laid back and very easy going, enjoy having a chat, a beer or a meal with my housemates. I also enjoy my own time for relaxing and studying. Looking for a new house, will need a place by 23/6/17 but can also move earlier if need be. Not fussed about the suburb as long as I am near a train station to commute to work.
Hi! My name's Lotus; I am currently studying and I like to bake, garden and read fantasy novels. I'm quiet and clean, and really dedicated to making a house feel cozy and welcoming. I am looking for a pet-friendly place (or a place with pets already) that is no more than an half an hour commute from the University of Melbourne shared by friendly people with mutual interests and good taste in cider.
I am a young 43, (going on 28), with a passion for outdoor adventures. Bills and rent aren't an issue. I am experienced in being a flatmate. If this sounds a possible fit then I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Mike.
- veggie eater - love outdoor activities /travelling -full time student at vic uni - looking to stay only 6-12 months ( or longer if things go well ) - very clean and organised - want to share with non smokers and decent people - only females
Hello! I'm looking to join a friendly household that has the right balance of hanging out together and doing our own thing. I work full-time as a social worker, and in my spare time I'm either spending it with my boyfriend/friends/family, dragging myself outside to exercise, cooking vegan food, or parking myself on the couch to watch terrible tv. I'm considerate and respectful of others, and I love having a laugh/sharing dog videos to balance out the seriousness of my work. My other loves include hunting down the best brunch spots in Melbourne, going to a few gigs and music festivals here and there, and baked goods. My ideal housemates are around the same age or older, working full-time, easygoing, and tidy. I'm hoping to be moved in somewhere by early-mid May so give me a shout if you think we'd be a good match! :) P.s. Walking distance to a train station is ideal!
Hi! My name is Megah and I'll be moving to Melbourne for work in mid May (currently residing in Sydney). I'm looking for a furnished private room with a parking space (preferably off-street), somewhere within 30 minutes from CBD. I'm easy going and friendly but also respectful of others' personal spaces. For the past 7 years, I've lived in homestays, shared houses, and also on my own. So I'm used to cleaning up after myself and doing house chores. I've also lived with people from different cultures which I really enjoy. I work full time and will probably spend most of my weekends exploring Melbourne (you're welcome to join!). At home, I'm always down for movie nights and catch ups over a meal or drinks.
Hi! I am an American moving from Georgia, USA for a full-time job in advertising. I am outgoing, friendly, and very clean. I have had many roommates in college and come from a big family, so I'm pretty much a pro at the whole roomie situation. Always up for an adventure and a last-minute beach trip. I am an avid runner and can often be found meeting new people, going to the local market, or cooking. Looking for an all-female apartment with equally outgoing and clean roommates to be my first friends in Australia!
Things that are important for me: Cleanliness, manners and a healthy lifestyle. I am an easy to approach laid back individual. I take great pleasure in demonstrating house sharing etiquette's. Ask away if you want to know more. Ta
Hey I'm Danni! Ive recently moved to Melbourne to work full time as a paramedic. I am a very down to earth person who loves all things music and food related. I keep active with as many outdoor adventures that I can fit into my spare time. I love socialising but I also value my time to myself. I've had years of experience living in share houses and am very tidy and respectful of other peoples things. Im hoping to find a house on a quiet street so I can get some sleep before/after night shifts. It's also vital that it is possible to make my room dark during the day so that I can sleep at odd hours to work around my shifts. I am hoping to find housemates around a similar age to me (22) who would like to show me the best gig spots, brunch cafes and bars in Melbourne on my days off. Im also down to binge watch TV with some wine in my free time. I don't own any pets but I would love to move in with some!
