Hello! My name is Amy and I'm a 28 year old full-time worker in the arts industry. In my spare time I like to keep fit by going to the gym and playing netball socially. I also LOVE to cook and bake (I have a major sweet tooth). I'm very clean and tidy and highly value keeping common spaces like the kitchen and bathroom extra clean. I cherish alone time and quite time as I lead a busy life.
Hello lovelies! My name is Steavi-lei and I am currently working within a new company as an Exec Assistant, on a probationary period (2.5 months remaining). Due to my current living situation ending in just over a week, I am looking for a new place which is either temporary or that becomes a "forever" home. As mentioned this will all be dependent on the probation (2.5 months). Ideally I would like to get my own place at the end of the probation however if I like where I'm at and the other tenants feel the same I may be open to staying as well. Should the probation end and the company wishes to not keep me - I plan to book a one way ticket overseas. So either way - I am looking for something short term if anyone would have anything it would be highly appreciated. Few fun facts about me: I'm an excellent cook Occasional social drinker Entrepreneur Don't snore Can quote Seinfeld Good gym buddy Love animals Have own vehicle Knows how to clean after oneself Green Thumb

I am pretty busy with work during the week, but enjoy a drink on the weekend. Brad is a 24 year old working full-time at Aurecon as a 3d technical artist. He is pretty funny (sometimes) and is very easy going. Brad and I have been friends for about 10 years as we went to school together on the Gold Coast. We both work full time Mon-Fri in the CBD. The ideal candidate would be able to clean up after themselves and pay rent on time every week. Would prefer to live with another full time worker, but students are okay too.

I'm looking for something close to the uni as I don't like commuting and want to immerse myself in the lifestyle as much as possible.

Hey! I am Fernando, 22 year-old from Brazil. I am looking to share a house with tidy, clean and quite people like me. I'm studying for IELTS test and I'll spend more 6 months here in Brisbane.
I'm a student from Denmark who is doing my internship for 3 months in Brisbane. I'm very social and outgoing and always up for a beer. I'm very respectful when it comes to staying in others houses. I always clean after myself and create a nice atmosphere around me.

What makes me great to live with? Well Haik and I are just people who love to explore different cultures and countries. We are both reliable, clean and respectful. I guess that is the basic for sharing a home. If there is a problem we will try to work on it. Oh and my cooking skills might be a plus for one or the other!
I'm pretty self sufficient and laid back, but I'm happy to have a drink or play Worms WMD or Catan or whatever if other housemates are up for company. I miss living in a big friendly sharehouse and would love to find somewhere like that. My dog is staying with my partner in Sydney for now, but I'd like to bring him up. I'd also love to get back into some form of wildlife rescue, so definitely prefer an animal friendly lease. I'm moving up Easter, flexible with length of stay. I'm working FT now, will be starting my Masters of conservation biology mid year at UQ.
hello there!!! i love music, incense, crystals, and fruit smoothies my movie tastes are action/thriller/anime/comedy/doco music is eclectic from blues to metal (dont worry i have head phones! i can be sociable yet need my alone time, i'm very independent, love animals especially the K9 or feline variety. yes i will walk love and feed them too.. i have lived with 2 males, a couple and a single female. I found it too uncomfortable living with the couple due to arguments. but i have stayed with a gay couple and that seemed to work lol. i'm mature (when called for), friendly (will tell you straight up not to wash the dishes with the bench cloth) and am aware of and accept human behaviour. I like to keep a semi healthy lifestyle but i also must indulge in a wine, cheese and crackers night. im a vego, but have lived with meat eaters and we get along fine lol I recently was given my fathers longboard (i'll need to store this in the garage) so im hoping to not be home most of the weekend leaving at around 6am, but i also love my sleep ins as i work with children and that can be draining. so no offence but i don't want to live with children. I would like to live in a house not an apartment with a back yard or patio to chill and draw oh and it would be preferred if there was at least an ensuite or 2 bathrooms in the house. the $170 must at least include internet as i will be cancelling my broadband package and anything higher is not within my budget. i have all my bedroom furniture and a mosaic tile table and i would like too keep those, i can sell or keep a fridge, and a two seater lounge, and random kitchen ware. thank you for reading and please don't hesitate to message me if all the above matches your criteria.
Hi folks! My name is Simon and I'm looking to rent a room on a short-term basis from early April until the end of May (I can be flexible with the exact dates if need be). I'm a friendly, considerate, non-smoking 36 year old professional (and online student!) who is about to move overseas to start my own business. I do a bit of driving for Uber in the evenings too, so I'll need a place to park my car (street parking is fine). I speak a few languages and am happy living in a multicultural house or apartment. I don't have any pets but I'm happy to live with people who do. If you have a bbq at your place I'm very happy to cook you up something awesome as well :-) I'm looking for something within a 10-15min drive of the CBD but I can be a bit flexible with that - my budget could be a little flexible for the right type of place too. I'll consider all types of accommodation as long as I have my own private room. Looking for a welcoming environment with no messy slobs or unnaturally obsessive neat-freaks; just nice, normal people. Happy to consider house-sitting as well. Hope to hear from you :-)

Looking for a sharehouse close to the city, yet still peaceful and quiet! Dont mind male housemates as long as there are also female ones. My ideal situation is a house that feels like community, with everyone having a chat and getting along well. At the moment I study Cert III in Business Administration full-time, but I would like to find work in Brisbane as well. I am an easy going, clean, respectful, friendly and social person. I love hanging out with friends, and shopping, eating out at cafes etc but I also love to relax and watch movies, or read a nice book. I am a hairdresser, I used to live in Brisbane a couple of years ago, but moved to central Queensland for a while and I'm really excited to be back. I've just started getting back into a fitness lifestyle, going to the gym, the beach and some sport in my spare time. I like to be very clean a tidy and respectful others space. I love going out and trying new restaurants on the weekends and catching up with friends. I am a very social person but I also love time to myself, I'm not shy to share a meal and some good conversation with some wine or beer. I am also handy in the kitchen but I wouldn't call myself a chef. I love a hot breakfast, so you will generally see me whipping up eggs on toast most mornings.
Hi my name is Mali. I work full time and currently live in New Farm. I am extremely tidy and very respectful. I enjoy my weekends but mostly like to relax at home. I am fun and outgoing but also enjoy my own time too. I also love cooking and I'm pretty good at baking. Look forward to hearing from you!
I am 23 and from India, would be studying at the University of Queensland from April 2017. I will be mostly at the uni doing my work and you can have the room to yourself most of the day. At other times I am fun to be with..! Witty and wise crack jokes are going to be a regular thing. I like to be tidy and keep things clean. I am pretty social and adaptable. I generally prefer to keep to my own but once I get along with someone I may talk a lot. My friends would describe me as cheerful and happy go lucky , so if you have any worries , you can share them with me and I can lighten your mood. I am looking for someone who is clean tidy and friendly. I would like to have a private room (preferably with ensuite) for my permanent stay. P.S: I am currently also looking for a temporary place to stay for my initial 1-2months in Brisbane. So if you have a room or would be interested in looking apartments together just drop a message.

We are clean, respectful and looking for a few lovely people to move in with! We also own a little border collie named Pearl! She is very, very sweet, obedient and house-trained.
Full time professional looking for an easy going respectful household with great mature-minded housemate/s near CBD I am very active, love fitness & outdoors, easy going & up for a good chat. I'm also pretty easy to live with as I take care of my environment, not a party person & prefer a quiet/relaxed home vibe. I'm very independent, also like being friends with whoever I share roof with as it makes life a lot easier. If it sounds like a good fit send me a msg and we'll go from there.

I'm a domestic student who recently moved up from Sydney to Brisbane to complete my Masters program at UQ. I'm pretty chill and open-minded to everything/anything. I understand and respect the privacy of those around me. I'm generally quite independent, but I don't mind relaxing and hanging out with other housemates from time to time. I like to keep my living household pretty clean and tidy, especially the kitchen and bathroom. I don't mind sharing common white goods around the house, as long as everyone is happy. Other than that, anything goes. Any questions feel free to message me! Cheers, Philip

I am a poet and yogi looking for a sharehome with creative soul-minded people. I was born and raised in Adelaide, moved to Melbourne for a career in literary publishing, then travelled half the world only to find mySelf in Australia at Chenrezig Buddhist Institute, southeast Queensland. I'm a 33-year-old male studying transpersonal psychology in his spare time and practising a hermetic/heuristic form of eclectic spirituality based on teachings from Nature, spiritual masters, literary geniuses and musical prodigies. It's all dharma if we choose to see it that way. I'm looking for a place to live where I can set up home for the longish term, with people who are on the spiritual path, somewhere between southeast Queensland and south-coast New South Wales. I guess you could say I’m a semi-confused, half-recovered former hippy-careerist: I stopped using drugs in January 2017; my head half-spontaneously sprouted dreadlocks in 2015; my Saturn Return started in 2013; I quit my job and started travelling in 2011; I’ve been a seeker of mystical truth since birth in Adelaide, 1983. I’m looking for a sharehome that would ideally be drug- and alcohol-free, but knowing the creative soul-minded community, I appreciate this is … well, idealistic. A home characterised by moderation in moderation would be ideal. I am a man of open mind, heart and spirit who loves to communicate thoughtfully and explore emotional sensitivity for its creative and transformative beauty. I work hard at being the best man I can be, and I tend to expect nothing less from the people I share my time and energy with. So I’m looking for a sharehome of progressive, compassionate, intelligent and creative people who are working on themselves to make the world a better place from within. I live a life of simple material pleasures and intricate spiritual ones ~ above all I value and pursue the evolution of Consciousness. I observe celibacy as a spiritual practice and identify as non-binary / gender-neutral. I am currently weaning myself off tobacco and caffeine, with a view to establishing a yogic vegan diet by the beginning of 2018. I currently receive unemployment benefits with a temporary exemption to give me some time to recover from depression without having to look for depressing menial work (which I have done my fair share of throughout the years). I’m doing really really well in the mental-health stakes, and I look forward to being self-employed again as a poet and healer by the beginning of 2018 while I continue studying Eastern psychology at dharma centres on the east coast. I value honesty, trust and open communication. I am allergic to passive aggression, manipulation and self-righteous indignation. I embrace the differing lifestyles of others and I expect the same in return. For example, I prefer to have the dishes done before bed, but I don't berate myself or others when this doesn't always happen. I'm one for having rosters and rules we can break for a laugh. I am a clean but not-exactly-tidy person ~ I value order-in-chaos, and cleanliness, but would prefer to share a home that is lived in rather than a house that is always impeccably clean and tidy. I love to cook and share food with home-mates. I love adventure ~ camping, trekking, cycle-touring and learning how to eat native weeds without going the way of Alexander Supertramp. I studied permaculture in 2015, discovering that I have a heartfelt affinity for soil and compost. I love to garden and salvage materials from building supplies to coffee grounds. I love talking shit and having a cackle over a cup of tea in the morning. I also love getting my meditation practice done before I emerge into the home so my moods are not hanging out everywhere. I'm far less moody these days, since I purged a lot of demons in January. ^^^I am, clearly, an essayist as well as a poet.^^^ I will probably post this on my blog later :D
Kiwi living in Aus Currently looking for a new place to call home :) I like to keep quiet during the week with work and gym with the odd outing for dinner ect. Weekend depending what's happening, not a total party animal but don't mind a few drinks time to time
22 yo Belgian looking for a colocation of 3-4 (ideally) students or backpackers. I put 4 months stay but I'm flexible with the length. I'd be on WHV so I just want to find a nice place with laid-back people who like spending time together as friends. If my roommates want to travel with me along the way, that's also an asset :)
Returned academic expat from the states on sabbatical looking for more of a home than a hostel, something that we all contribute to. The abbreviated lovechild of a dating profile and list of what should be obvious. “I”; - read a lot though tend not to be a homebody, - will probably will never sing for or at you, but maybe with you if you’re really bad at it. - am respectful*, house trained* and clean* but not at all anal unless in the lab, theatre or wearing a white coat. - work relatively normal - long hours in an incubator space. - think great conversation is like a dance that leaves everyone involved with a smile on their face. - Need my own space and always try to be mindful* of the space of others*. - enjoy fun and interesting banter over a drink preferably with, open minded*, empathic*, humble*, fun* and passionate people. - more often giving than needy, more measured* that reactionary. - give a sh1t about the world* and think about how to make it better. - can be interested in politics, science, sociology, music, technology and everything in-between. - am a total nerd in some respects, aspiring stylish zen monkey in others. - try to lead a healthy lifestyle with good food and exercise, riding, rock climbing, hiking, jogging regularly. - am a feminist guy and proud of it, though don’t evangelise so much as demonstrate with awareness that other views exist. “You”; - are self aware enough to laugh at yourself when things occasionally go awry, even then, you never take it out on others. - noticed each * and if they represented a bar, you wouldn’t stumble over too often. - don’t believe the illuminati are really in control of the world, seriously! - can be a grownup when you need to be but haven't forgotten how to be a kid. - struggle to empathise with views of the 45th US president, even when significantly intoxicated. If I could be what you’re looking for, it’d be cool to hear more about you. Troy
Hey guys, I'm easy going and down to earth also very clean and reliable. Working at Mater Hospital in Early Education Mon-Fri, also studying externally.
