Hey! :) Im steph, im 28, I work fulltime and study part time, im neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Im looking to live towards the city somewhere, places like Lutwyche, Arana Hills, Windsor, Alderley, Kedron, Kelvin Grove, Camp Hill, Carindale etc :) Ok... so I know alot of people dont wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boys name is Max and he's 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would love to have an xbox buddy to play with. He's also really good at drawing and making things. We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, Im looking another person to get a house together. Dont mind if its a girl or guy, as long as youre reliable and pay rent on time, respectful, have a stable income, funny, around similar age, and are actually serious about all of this and not just looking for a live in f buddy :/ Id prefer a house rather than a unit. Itd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal, as i just bought myself a BMW so dont want that to get wrecked lol Ive seen houses where they have 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. That kind of thing would be good coz i do like and neeeeeed my privacy and own space at times, as im sure you would too, so for example max and i could have the 2 downstairs bedrooms and you could have the upstairs (or vice versa) that way we each have our own space, own lounge area and bathrooms and just share the kitchen pretty much lol Cost wise, i think its easiest to just split everything equally (rent, bills etc) but that can all be worked out when we found a place we liked :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine etc and then plates cups blah blah blah :) youd only need your bedroom stuff really :) Id also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) Im a good cook, easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So youd definitely have to be funny and easy going and be able to take a joke lol I do smoke on the odd occasion and if i do its only ever outside and i usually go shower straight after as i hate the smell lol i know... weirdo... haha Max and i love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and would really love to get a puppy! So if youve already got a dog thats good with kids thatd be so awesome! Anyway, if youre interested just send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) hopefully hear from you soon :) Ps. Also, i have been fkd around alot on here by guys only interested in being live-in friends with benefits... so please only message me if you're actually genuine about finding a house, not just sex on call... :| Oh, i also got catfished too from someone replying to this ad, so unfortunately, please dont be surprised if i ask for photos/fb details/even ID/tenant ledger etc to make sure youre actually who you say you are. Thanks :)
Exceptionally clean and tidy, very thoughtful and caring people. We arequite sociable but will also respect your privacy. I am from the UK, travelling with my partner, we are both mid twenties. We have just landed in Australia, so will be looking for full time jobs asap. Shaun is a commercial diver and I work in admin/hospitality. We are very hard working people
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee, FL. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes when we meet you :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games with us and jam some records. I've also got a Playstation which you'd be welcome to use for games or Netflix. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have pretty much no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, my gf Karli is Canadian (Alberta) on a work visa here and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 4 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. Karli is finishing a Masters in Communication/PR at uni and has been working as a bar tender, and John has just finished 8 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
Hey Guys! My friend Emily and I are looking for a third housemate to start applying for houses, looking to move in the first week of January. We have been inspecting houses in suburbs close to the city (Red Hill, Paddington, New Farm, Kelvin Grove, Auchenflower). We are looking for a spacious wooden house, with decent sized bedrooms, preferably with a deck and a yard. This is our favourite house so far to give you an idea: http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-auchenflower-419751694 We are wanting to pay under $200 each. I'm 18 and Emily is 19 and we are both studying Film and New Screen media at Griffith Uni Southbank. We're both creative and laid back people, and want to create the cutest share house with heaps of nice plants and furniture and have a little vege patch in the yard. Let me know if you wanted to meet up with us and inspect some more houses (we're planning on doing a few more days of inspections in the next few weeks).
Hi, my name is Dalia. I'm moving from the Sunny Coast to study biomed at UQ in 2017. I'm looking to share a two or three bedroom apartment with someone (relatively) near the university. I'm a little young, since I'll be turning 17 in June 2017. My move date is pretty flexible.
I'm a Registered Nurse from Canada (enough said?) looking for a furnished room. I'm very easy going and tidy (but not too tidy :)) I like to sleep, I'm not a morning person, and I'll be working 12 hour shifts at a local hospital, but am very respectful of my housemates. Ideally I would love to live with some like minded people, open to hanging out and meeting new people (I'm new to the city) , sharing dinner or going out for drinks. I'm a non-smoker (of cigarettes). Let me know if you want to live together! Please do not contact me if your place does not meet my requirements. I am NOT interested in shared rooms, I am NOT a student, and I am NOT interested in solo apartments. NO SPAM PLEASE!
I am a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) I work as a tarot reader and am a bit of a hippy chick. Im completing my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time :P Im tidy and respectful and am always smiling! I live a healthy lifestyle despite my sweet tooth and the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat!
Hi there! I'm a bubbly and friendly 19 year old Aussie girl looking to move out of home. I currently work part time but am looking for a full time job to start asap. I'm tidy and quiet but would love to be able to have my boyfriend stay over occasionally. I don't smoke and i barely drink.
Hello! I'm Sascha and I'm currently looking for someone/ some people to team up with to rent a place on the north side. I have all the stuff you need - fridge, washing machine, dining table, bookcase, coffee table.. just need a couch and tv! I also have a kitty who is extremely friendly and loves outdoors. I work full time in the city so I'm not always home. I'm extremely easy to live with and am quite social. Happy to look at houses and/ or townhouses. The sooner I can move out the better!!
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
I have a full time office job Monday to Friday. So I prefer to have a quite night during weekdays. I'm clean and easygoing. Also, like to cook. Would like to live with someone has similar lifestyle. Looking for a room (preferably own bathroom) in apartment. Also interested in teaming up with likeminded people for renting apartment.
Recently turned 19, I work 30 hours a week - looking to increase this to 40 hours. I'm a pretty chill person, happy to share my food and pretty much anything else i own - i understand if your not happy to do the same :) I like to keep all common areas tidy however my room will most likely be less tidy as im normally in a rush when changing clothes This will be my second time living out of home, I am respectful of your privacy and requirements such as noise restrictions and personal space. I'm very sociable and i do like to go out often, I'm also not one to shy away from a few drinks here and there - if I'm being completely honest i will fit more in a household with people who enjoy working hard during the week and like to relax with a few drinks on weekeds- or at least poeple who dont mind that i like to
I am a masters student at UQ, tidy, quiet, clean and respectful. Love food and wine, sports & reading. Looking for a housemate that is up for a glass of wine or two, but also enjoys their own time. Hey! We are two Swedish girls travelling Australia looking for a room to share til the end of the year (29th of December) before we start our travelling around the country. Both of us are working part-time in the city. We are friendly, laid back and tidy. I believe we're easy to get along with. Both me and Gaby are social and have a pretty active life style so wont be sitting around the house all day. Anything you would like to know just ask us. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Regards Pim & Gaby
Hi guys, I am Veronica, a 22 years old geosciences student from Munich. I will arrive in Brisbane on Feb 17th to start my semester abroad at University of Queensland. I am a young clean guy who is hoping to find a place to live for the next 1year + as I am trying to save to buy a house. Prefer my own bathroom. Will spend only $200(ish) as what I am currently spending is too much for my liking. Will be respectful and tidy, Thanks!
I'm working full time and study full time so like the house to be clean and quite (with in reason) during the week, and enjoy a few drinks on weekends and night time. Am interested in teaming up with someone to get a apartment together or move in with someone else.
Hi, we are a lovely couple in our early thirties. I am a full time student doing a Master Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at UQ, St. Lucia Campus. My partner works at an Italian restaurant in the CBD. We are friendly and easy going. We are looking for a shared house with like minded people preferably in West End/South Bank/Milton to move in around last week of January. Please text me if you are looking for the same. Cheers, Mong
Just looking for a nice place with some nice people. I work full time at Suncorp Insurance so you won't see much of me during the day. Born in Brisbane and proud Queenslander. Worked in the nightclub scene for about 2 years so my partying days are pretty much behind me but always keen for a beer with banter on the side and the occasional stories. I have always been pretty clean and do the household chores on a fair basis. I game a bit but not everyday - usually COD or Battlefield. I love cooking and will usually make far too much food. If I'm the kinda guy your looking for give me a text and the address and I'll have a look :)
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish, work full-time as a development engineer in CBD and go to the gym 4/5 times a week. I'm all into sport, recently started to surf. I do my dishes always immediately and require it from you as well :) Hope to find a great place! ;) Cheers, Krystian

I'm an international full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017 (Environmental Management). I was studying in the US (Chicago) before. I'm super tidy and clean (like keeping everything super clean but won't mind if it's not), and pretty decent at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am always respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out and have fun. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty serious sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any and everywhere. I'll be new to the city and the country, so I would like to explore a lot during the weekends provided I have the time. Always down to watch a movie or tv show. Join me for small adventures if you want! :D I don't mind living with anyone, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, Hit me up! :) (That was two too many "up's") PS - 260 is my upper budget but I would be really happy with anything cheaper. The closer it is to the university the better it would be.

Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move mid-January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
I am currently doing undergrad at UQ (full-time). Looking to share a house with mature and clean flatmates. I am working part-time and enjoy improving my fitness when I am free. Not much of a party person (I am rather private and prefer to have my own space from time to time), but I enjoy intellectual conversations with people.
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Will clean bathrooms and toilets haha!
I'm 22 and I work full-time for an education organisation. I love a bit of yoga and a cheeky wine every now and then. I'm super easy going, clean and respectful. I'm generally rather quiet but always down for hangs and a chat! I've lived in share houses for 4 years or so, so I know the drill :) Keen to move ASAP but am flexible. Look forward to hearing from you! Krystal
Hi there! My name is Aden, I am 23 years old and work full time in the city as an Accountant (exciting, I know!). I'm friendly, tidy and respectful and am looking to move into a place before January 2017. Location is not too important, as long as there is public transport into the city. I'm very easy going and have a keen interest in health and fitness as well as being passionate about English Premier League Football. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Aden
Hello! Names Payce Williams and I come from Alberta, Canada. I am looking for a place to call home in the Brisbane area for the next 3-4 months while I look to obtain my real estate license. I am looking for a nice and quite area away but to be fairly close to a bus and/or train station in the area. By the moment you met me you'll see that I am a energetic and well spoken person who loves a good laugh and cherishes friendships with due respect. I am currently seeking part time work while I aim to gain my realtor license within the month of December. Please feel free to contact me any time if my listing intrigues you to get to know a fellow Canadian. Thanks Eh!
Michael and I have been working in Brisbane for a couple months and we're saving hard for our dream road trip - the whole reason we came to Australia. We are looking for somewhere to call home over Christmas and into the new year. We're really easy going, do our part with cleaning and tidying up after ourselves. We're both from the UK and work full-time during the week so we enjoy spending weekends exploring brisbane and the surrounding areas!

Hiya I'm Tatiana and I'm an artist and student (or will be next year at QCA). I work part time hours at a retail job and love it. I live quietly but still enjoy a odd night out with friends. My entire existence revolves the paintings of dutch masters and their godlike abilities, memes, doughnut time, various Harry Potter theories and graphite pencils. I make a mean banana bread and my rice pilaf brings all the boys to the yard. Ideally I'm looking to move some time in the new year <3
Hi guys, Im looking for a place with one or two others, that I can have a laugh with and the occasional beverage or two. I would prefer people that are easy going and I could hopefully become friends with, rather than people that keep entirely to themselves or sit in their bedroom all day.
We are a very nice, easy going couple from brighton UK, looking to make some money in Australia with our 1 year visa's maybe extending to 2 years. We enjoy the best of both worlds chilling out and socialising. Ian is a landscape gardener and lou is a florist. We're really excited about making Brisbane our new home. If you're interested message us for a chat :) Lou & Ian

Hey everyone, I've only moved to Brisbane a week ago but am still looking for somewhere to call home! I'm 18 years old and am a retail manager, I'm a very social and outgoing person but at the same time like my own space! If you have something suitable or would be keen to team up with me, send me a message! :)
I'm a 21 year old qualified Graphic Designer, studying another degree at UQ. I am bubbly, out-going and always keen on adventures. I'm in love with photography and all things creative and absolutely love my wildlife, so hopefully you don't mind me bringing some plants and an abundance of art supplies. Looking for a place in January to stay until late May/June as I am moving overseas for an internship in August and want to stay with family the few months before. If there is anything you would like to know about me, feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear for you!
Student looking for a quiet place. Good at: paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself, budgeting. Likes: Cats, dogs, exercising, archery, food, games, sleep. Can at maximum pay up to 150 pw rent but would prefer staying under that (wouldn't we all?) Note: Current lease runs out 6/1/17 and I am going to UQ @ St. Lucia.
Hi, I am a university student from Newcastle looking for accommodation in Brisbane for 2-3 months starting in December. I will be working full time at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital. Preferably somewhere close within reasonable walking distance. I am an easy going person and clean and tidy around the house. I like going to the beach and getting out on weekends. I am very active and enjoy running and going to the gym.
Hi I'm Elinor I'm moved to Brisbane from SA at the start if the year for uni ( I'm studying a Masters of teaching at UQ) and looking for now I'm looking for somewhere closer to uni to live. I'm a friendly person keen to live with someone who I can chat with and be friends with but also mindfull of personal space and boundaries. I'm clean and tidy and happy to help with household cleaning
Hi I will be looking for somewhere to move in to in early January. Could possibly move a few weeks before hand if needed. Looking for a house share max 3 bedrooms, so everyone can be social but it doesnt feel too crowded. Ive lived in Brisbane for 5 years, working full time. Recently sold most of my furniture so have my bedroom furniture to bring plus washing machine and fridge to bring with me. Last 2 are negotiable. I use my mobile so im not fussed on landline or additional internet provision. Cheers Lauren
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, I'm currently doing 2 units over summer - kill me, why did I do this to myself? I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 5 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Hey! Anyone going away for the summer and wanting to rent out their room temporarily? I'm only looking for 1-2 months, will respect all your things and can pay for the whole duration up front. Thanks :)
I am looking to establish a share house with 2-3 other people in west end. We are looking to move in during the new year somewhere around January or early February at the latest. I like to think quite responsible for my age. I work between 20-40 hours a week on average as a waitress at a cafe in the city. I am looking to find a nice friendly place that my plant collection and I can call home. I can be somewhat shy at first but once you get to know me I can be great company. In my spare time I can be found rock climbing at urban climb in west end. I am currently on a working gap year but intend on taking up study some time in the future. If you are interested please message me.
Hi all, Flexible with move in date.. Late December to Mid January. I'm looking for a couple of flatmates who would be willing to share with an old girl and her two cats. I'm currently in a unit but with my lease ending in January I thought it might be nice to join a share house again for the social aspect. I have furniture and white goods to sweeten the deal. I'm pretty quite through the week but definitely don't mind sharing a meal with house mates. I have two rescue cats Alvin 2 and Casper 14 they pretty much take care of themselves and aren't much bother at all. Of course I'm anal about kitty litter smells and fur. You wouldnt even know they were there. I'm happy to share with any gender but would probably like to share with at least one male to keep a happy balance. Hope to hear from you Em.
Quiet, reliable, respectful, and mature professional. I am out a lot working during the day/socializing in evenings and need a quiet and comfortable home where I can rest, eat and sleep. Definitely not looking for a party house. I would really like a place with ceiling fans and screened windows/doors, and/or air con, dishwasher would be nice and off street parking and internet are essential. Happy to share with one or maybe two others. I am 49yrs old, young at heart, and my preference is to share with others of mature age (ie. 30 plus) or of mature/sensible nature. I don't have pets but love animals, especially dogs. I have an impeccable rental record and can provide references. Looking to rent long term. I am very keen to establish a new place with somebody with a particular interest in taking up a two bed apartment to share in West End or surrounds. I am happy to share a bathroom but require off street parking. If we rent somewhere with only one car space I would be happy to pay a little extra for exclusive use. I am prepared to pay up to $260 a week for my share, plus share bills, internet etc...Happy to consider a 6 month lease at start but with view to long term providing all is working out well for us both. Of course, you would also be able to provide reliable rental references upon application to the agent/owner. A bit more about me and my lifestyle. I enjoy Yoga and Latin Dance and enjoy a sleep-in during the weekends. Indian cuisine is a clear favorite of mine, I rarely drink and follow a fairly healthy sort of lifestyle. I generally like peace and quiet between 9pm and 6am weekdays, to get my rest for work, and sometimes until 7 or 8am or so on weekend mornings so I can get my sleep after slightly later nights out social dancing on Fri and Sat. I am friendly but quiet and enjoy my own space and downtime. I am definitely not pedantic about it, but I do respect the need to mop up after myself and keep the place clean and tidy for others I am sharing with. Happy to consider getting a cleaner in for an hour or so each fortnight. If you are interested in renting an apartment and establishing a new home with me or if you have a suitable private room to rent in an established home please get in touch, I will be happy to hear from you.
Student- friendly, honest and always quite. Been moving to many places and had met great people. Looking for a place close to transportation to the city to go to uni and shops close by.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, cooking and being creative. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
Hi I'm Nic! I'm moving from Canada to Brisbane to start my medical degree in early February. I have two previous degrees (BSc/MSc) in Biochemistry from my hometown university. I tend to keep to myself, especially in the peak of exams. I'm fairly laid back and looking for similarly minded roommates. I'm up for trying new things (I'm looking at you surfing). I like to run and lift weights (all hail the holy trifecta: bench, squat and deadlift) when I have spare time.
I'm barely home because I work full time (Tuesday to Saturday) as store manager at Sunglass Hut and I'm clean 😊 I do like to go out and have fun on the weekends and make friends with everyone. I've just moved here from Mount Isa but I'm originally from NZ.
