I'm really fun and open and I like to geek out and have a wine with friends and roommates of a Friday or so. I don't constantly have guests over and I work full time so you'd have your own quiet space majority if the time. But I do want to get some animals so pet friendly would be awesome.
Hi, I'm Nana I'm from Japan n 21 years old. I've been here for 8 months on Working Holiday. I'm friendly tidy n responsibility. I like to play sports, go out, go to the beach n talk with people. I would like to get along with flatmates.
Hi Everyone, I am 26, moved to Brisbane about a year ago due to work. I am originally from Melbourne but I have decided to stay in Brisbane for another couple of years. I am an engineer and work the usual office hours Monday to Friday. My current lease is ending Jan 20ish and naturally I am looking for a new place that I will enjoy living in with housemate/s who I will get along with. Preferably I would like to live with housemates of a similar age (mid to late 20s.) I am hoping to lock in a place for 2017 sooner rather than later. I am a sociable person, always enjoy meeting new people and expanding my network. I would prefer to stay with housemates that are similar to myself i.e. tidy, friendly, reliable and easy going. The type of people that I can have a drink with on the weekend. I don't mind housemates having friends over, just not if they are going to keep me awake in the graveyard hours of a weeknight. I generally like to be busy and productive doing things, very rarely will you find me wasting away in front of the TV. I clean up after myself and don't leave dirty dishes lying around. Although sharehouses, are what they are, I do try give somewhat more of a homely feel about the place. You will often find me in the kitchen cooking up something interesting. I do enjoy cooking, but at the same time kinda cbf cooking for one every night. Would be happy to share cooking with others (love Italian and asian food) I don't own any pets, however, I do like cats and dogs and wouldn't be against living with either. Interests: cooking, keeping active, bike riding, running, exploring and travel, herb garden, markets, new restaurants, reading, keeping busy, doing nothing, beach, nights on the town (not every weekend) I am currently trying to save for a house so would like to cap my rent expenses to around $180ish + bills per week. If you think that we will get along and our requirements match then give me a buzz or shoot through a message.
Hi guys, I am currently 24 years old turning 25 soon. I am working full time at the Queensland University of Technology but hoping to study full time next year/working part time if it all works out. I currently live in Nundah and my current lease runs out on the 31/01/2017 and needing to find a new place then. I am living with a few friends but needing a change. I am big into anything health and fitness related - I love sports, I am easy going, really chilled and prefer my own space at times. I also consider myself a quite tidy person and like to live in a clean environment. I also don't mind having a few drinks from time to time. My parents are from Cambodia but I am New Zealand born residing in Brisbane coming up to two years in February.
A Happy Hippy chick from central NSW looking for an awesome home in Bris-vegas! Im a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) Paying my rent is my number one priority and you will never have to worry about that with me. I work as a tarot reader and will often chat about current astrological alignments when the time is right. Im also quiet and mindful of your personal space but am always there to chat if you need/want too :) Im moving to Brisbane to complete my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time or not around :P I am here now and happy to move in when needed! Im also tidy and respectful and am always smiling! Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking and regular chocolare binges!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples or a shared room ... . I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room. if im interested i will get in contact. thanks!
Hi! My name’s Rebecca and I am looking for a room somewhere in Brisbane’s inner city region or suburbs surrounding Saint Lucia starting in mid to late January (I am flexible with dates). Right now I am completing a Bachelor of Arts- Korean degree at the University of Queensland. I am rather quiet but friendly and most importantly clean. I do have my own furniture, most notably a fridge, small couch and washing machine, so am looking for somewhere that will be okay with this. I have no allergies and am a lover of pets (especially dogs!) although I do not have any of my own. I do not own a car therefore public transport is essential for me. I would really love to live near a railway station as I often work very late nights in Fortitude Valley. I go to university during the week and work late on the weekends therefore will most likely not be home often so if you’re looking for a laidback, considerate and low maintenance roomie who is reliable with rent, please please please consider me! I may be young but I can assure you that I am dependable and mature. Thank you so much for checking me out!
Hi, My name is Caitlyn and I work in the city as a Pharmacy Technician. I'm 22 and am currently working full time while I study online. My current lease is ending and I need a place to live while I work out my next move. Because of this I'm not sure how long I'll be in brisbane but I will have at LEAST a months notice before I leave so I can guaruntee you'll have a lot of notice before I leave. I've been living in shared accommodation for over 4 years and I've never had any bad experiences. I've been really lucky and I've always gotten along with the people i move in with really well. I'm fairly easygoing and I love meeting new peole. I'm happy to provide personal or professional references for you if it would make you feel more comfortable. I love a good wine and chat after a long day but i'm a fairly quiet person. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Hoping to hear from you soon, Caitlyn Nester
Quiet working IT professional. I work a 24/7 roster in the CBD. Friendly & easy going, Looking for possibly something long term. I can move in the 15th Feb, If you have a place close to the train line I'd like to here from you. Looking for an easy commute to central station
Hey guys! My name is Maite, I'm working full time, training for triathlons, and volunteering as a lifesaver. When I'm not doing any of these, I like to relax at home, catch up with friends over coffees, food and/or movies:) Talk to you soon! M
Hi there! My name is Michael and I am a full time student nearing the completion of my Bachelor. I am looking to join an existing sharehouse around the Kelvin Grove area while I finish off my studies. I like socialising but am respectful of other people's privacy. I love to cook, garden (lots of fresh herbs for cooking!) and wouldn't mind sharing meals. I would like to join a clean, quiet and friendly household where everyone helps to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of common areas (because no one likes a messy housemate!) I would be looking at an unfurnished room so I can bring along my own furniture. I also have a lot of furniture for common areas such as leather couches, coffee tables, washer+dryer etc but I don't have to bring these along with me. Looking for a LGBT friendly household and preferably pet-friendly as I have a small black cat (but she doesn't have to come with me if pets aren't allowed). Shoot me a message if you think we would get along or if you need any more information :)!
20 years old and am permanently move to Brisbane on the 29th, I'll be staying with relatives for I hope only a couple of weeks if I haven't found somewhere. I'm not too fussed on the area as long as it's quite close to a mall/shopping centre etc as I'll need to obviously get a car and job in the mean time. Have $$ behind me until then. Currently a bartender and waitress here in nz. I'm looking for a room to rent or people who are looking at renting a shared house that'll be keen to find a place. My partner will be moving over 4weeks after my arrival so our price range will obviously go up once he arrives. We're very clean, tidy, hard workers and love a social drink (both bartenders for ya! ;) ) Pm if you have any suggestions 🙋🏽🙋🏽 Thanks guys!
Hey I'm Markos and I am on the hunt for a new home as my current housemate is leaving me for overseas. I work full time as a service engineer which involves lots of travel around Queensland during the week but also an occasional day working from home. I'm quite easy going, friendly and like to keep tidy especially in common areas. I'm hoping to find a new housemate that is the same
Hi there! We are two best friends looking for a room to share. Both Italians working in hospitality and studying. We love life! :) We do have the furniture that we need for the room. Looking for a room with own bathroom. Always available for a chat or as glass of wine. We are COFFEE LOVERS :) Cheeeers! Angela & Alice Peace and love. <3
I am a 22 year old single gal, studying to be a Naturopath and working in hospitality part time! Trying to sort my life out and move closer to my place of work and study = more sleep-in time and less transport $/road rage. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past 4 years, so I know how to co-exist in a respectful and stress-free manner. I am keen to make new friends, socialise and have fun with my new housemate's, but don't fret I also love my own company and will respect your space and quiet time as well! Contact me if this living sitch could float your boat!
**Looking for a Teamup** Hello future roomie!! I'm Bronte, 23 years old and I'm looking for my perfect match housemate. I've been living in all types of rentals for 3 years now and I'm looking to "settle down" as much as possible without having pay a mortgage or rely on a partner (I'm happily single for the moment thank you very much). Picture this: My ideal living situation is a lovely 2-bedroom apartment near a central hub on the Northside of Brisbane (maybe our local Friday night cocktail bar is just around the corner). We have a spacious living area and where we share meals, watch shitty tv shows occasionally and nice outdoor area where we can enjoy a wine or two. My ideal partner in crime: - She's young professional woman around the same age (25-30) - looking to find a home, not just a room and a friend, not just a roommate. - motivated by her career or maybe she's working towards her dreams. - social, maybe a few dinner parties, but she's not gonna throw a party without consulting her number #1 roomie. - likes cats as I will be getting one in the new year. So if this sounds like your perfect match, send me a message and tell me about yourself and lets get to know each other :)
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish programmer that works full-time in CBD and I'm all into sport after working hours :) I do my dishes on time and require it from others as well :) People say that I'm bubbly, however I find myself introvert - go figure! Hope to meet great people and a nice place! ;) Cheers, Krystian
Hey I'm Sanborn, I love my music, design and study. I am looking for quiet share accommodation, a private room preferably. I am quiet, respectful and clean and tidy. I am currently living on the North of Brisbane, I am looking to move closer to the City. Suburbs on the North would be suitable and also around South Brisbane. If you have a room please message me anytime. I also don't mind a good chat, you can never take life too seriously
"She's sweet. Funny. A good roommate." - Jemima, 2014* "She's not a psychopath" - Arnold, 2013* "Looks like it's going to rain. Better bring your washing in" - Mum, 2016* *All quotes are true, names have been changed, but the people are real, although they may or may not have said these things loosely during off the record conversations. Happy to pay up to $250 dollar bills a week for: A private room of my own in a nice relatively new or renovated place with a yard/area appropriate for playing fetch. Ideally, I'd prefer my own bathroom. Happy to share a bathroom if it's with one other clean person. Sorry, but this gal is too old to share a bathroom with 2+ people or a house with 4+. Learn a bit more about me below. And, ya know, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is(n't) Stan. What makes me great to live with? Well... I rinse out the chux when I've finished cleaning the dishes that I haven't left sitting on the sink for 1+ days. I love cooking for others and sitting down to a nice meal with glass of red. Sometimes the glass of red is the nice meal. Don't judge. I believe pretty firmly that garlic bread is life. Don't worry, I'm not a total slob-kebob. I meal prep, eat relatively clean and go to the gym in the hopes that someday I will have that #summerbod everyone keeps going on about. Plus it supposedly prolongs life. Fun fact: I'm a decent human who understands the concept of personal space so won't go looking through your room/things. Funner fact: This is probably because I'm too lazy and would much rather watch Netflix. Funniest fact: Funner isn't a word. Saving the best bit for last - I have a sidekick by the name of Duke Nukem; a nearly 2 yr old teeny 3kg mini fox x pinscher rescue pup who is a ball of energy one moment and passed out the next. He's quiet, but has barked at the wind (or ghosts) once or twice. He can also hop 3-4 feet in the air, generally because he's curious to see what's on your dinner plate on the table. He means well and I'm sure you'll love him nearly as much as he'll love you. We're a rad pair looking for equally, if not more so, rad people to make a home with in the new year. I know I said 2016 was gonna be my year, but I've got a reeeeeally good feeling about 2017. What makes you so great to live with? Well... I'm hoping you're a positive / emotionally stable person, who prides yourself on paying bills before they're due, are kind and laid back 90% of the time, are down for a good laugh and great conversation, and if you eat my food you really mean it when you say you'll replace it. Bonus points if you've got a pooch of your own who is open to making a new puppy pal. If ever you're out of town, I'm happy to feed and love the little puppa, and I hope if ever I'm out of town, you'll do the same :)
Looking for a place to call my home. I'm quiet, easy going and keep to myself, although I don't mind an occasional drink on the weekend. I like to listen to music, but I have headphones if its too loud. If you would like to live with me please let me know.
Hi, I’m Martin or Marty as most people call me. A quick snap shot of me: I am professionally employed in medical travel assistance and recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 20 years. I am a quite an active person who is getting back into competitive cycling again with the aim to start club racing again in the New Year. I love the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy – hiking, camping, sand, surf and adrenaline sports..anything outdoors basically. I like to cook and entertain and enjoy the company of my friends and meeting new people. As my friends are spread out down the east coast of Australia, I regularly visit Sydney and Tasmania, plus the yearly overseas trips to explore off the beaten track places. I do have a substantial amount of furniture (2 bedroom house) and this can be put into storage if needed or can be added if required. There is so much more I can write here, but would rather it come out during a conversation when we meet.
I am smooth going guy, focusing mainly on education. I would like to have a single room with attached bathroom. I pretty much spend most of the time in UNI. I don't smoke neither drink,, but can catch up for a glass of wine for a pleasureful week ends. I cook mostly Indian dishes and Italian. I am also kind of back packers who would like to explore around and roam around the places...
Hi, I'm an adventurous, out-going kind of person. I'm a very caring, easy going person who's always up for something new. I'm clean and polite also very respectable, responsible and reliable. I have a job, my license and my own car. If you would like to know anything else about me, please don't hesitate to ask :)
I am an easy going and friendly individual. I am originally from Manchester, UK. I enjoy reading, shopping, going out, travelling and watching netflix. I like to live in a tidy and clean environment and think everyone should just tidy up after themselves!
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
My friend, Alice, and I are in the process of looking for a new place in Brisbane's inner suburbs and would like to find a third person to share with. We are both 23 - I'm working full time and studying after hours and Alice has just finished her degree and is about to start full time work. We're clean and tidy, easy to get along with and non-smokers. We'll be pretty low key, as far as housemates go, during the week and we don't mind an adventure (or a drink or 2) on the weekends! We both have pretty active and social lifestyles and tend to spend a fair bit of time out of the house. I have a little dog (she's a 1-year-old maltese pomeranian) - we live with a cat at the moment and they get along fine so if you have pets too, don't let that put you off! We haven't found a place yet but we're looking at (reasonably modern) apartments, townhouses and houses close to the city. We'd also like to be near a train station and close to nice cafes, restuarant, parks etc. in a good area. We're happy to find the place on our own or for you to join the search! At this stage, we're hoping to move before the end of the year. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, or you want to know anything more, please send me a message :) Megan
Hi, I am friendly, outgoing and respectful person that is clean and super easy to live with. I enjoy sport, music and love to travel. I enjoy cooking and relaxing during the week and hanging out with friends and enjoying the outdoors in the weekend.
I'm a QUT Business School student from India. Looking for a unit near CBD for 180pw including bills or 200 maxxxx. I don't smoke or drink but I am friendly and like to s t a y c l e a n. I love traveling and won't mind exploring the city or nearby destinations!! Respecting your privacy is my rule. My course is until December 2018, so I'd prefer somebody with at least 1 year stay. Drop me a message if interested! :) Thanks.
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
Hi I'm alex from dallas Texas have a car, job and kitten and I plan to settle in Brisbane. Im clean and friendly and respectful. Open minded and happy
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Love boardgames and will clean bathrooms and toilets!
I'm a 23 year old recent UQ graduate. I'm moving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and hoping to live with people my age who will hopefully become good friends as I don't know too many people in Brisbane. I'm neat, tidy and considerate. I'm not much of a partier but enjoy the odd drink and social event!
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat it at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
Hi my name is Kavian and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. I've been here in Brisbane for almost 4 month now. I am here on a long term secondment and work full time as an Auditor in CBD area. I am going to stay here in Brisbane for minimum 1 year and looking for a flat close to the city and can commit for long term lease. I am very easy going and love to have people around me. I love to travel and meet new people and thought this would be a great way to get to know ppl. Apart from Stockholm, i've also lived in London and Hong Kong so I am used to have flat mates. When I'm not in the office, I like to spend my time at the wrestling club and hang out with my friends. Also, I like to cook and won't say no to a glass of red wine :) At the moment, I live in New Farm and really like the area here, but I would also like to live in CBD, the Valley or West end. I am easy to get along with, clean and tidy and respect peoples privacy. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to team up or have a room available in the area I am looking for.
I'm originally from the UK, over here on a working holiday visa until February so I would be looking for somewhere until then. I'm currently working in the CBD for an insurance company. Wanting to find a fully furnished private room, ideally within 30mins walk of the city.
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
Easy going and relaxed person who is friendly and social, yet respectful of people's privacy and things, and very clean. I work in Digital Marketing in the higher education industry, in the Valley, working weekdays 5 days per week. I enjoy keeping fit, yoga, socialising, checking out new cafes/restaurants/bars and laughing :) Looking to live with just one other person (a female) ideally, and would like own bathroom and parking space.
I am an outgoing, bubbly person who enjoys socializing with friends and partying during the weekends. I am tidy and respectful of others' privacy and space. I am looking for a single room in a shared accommodation near Royal Brisbane Hospital and plans to stay for a year. Happy to team up with like-minded easy-going people so please feel free to contact me.

I am seeking a clean living, non-toxic environment that is conducive to studying, relaxing, health and fitness. I live a very clean diet lifestyle with very minimum alcohol consumption, non-smoker and do not use drugs. Looking to live with another like-minded individual who loves life and is motivated.
