I'm a PhD candidate and sessional academic (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. I'm pretty easy to live with but I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free (and I love house plants). I mostly cook at home (meal prep sundays - so I dont need to cook everyday)...but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking at home, I use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment :)
Hey, I'm currently moving out of home and I'm looking for a place not too far from shops or public transport. I'm looking to study this year and I'll need to move somewhere with potential work nearby, I'll always be able to make rent. I'm tidy, I keep to myself and respect others. I need somewhere that has WiFi.
Hi, I'm a friendly, and respectable 23 year old Australian who works as an Accounts Manager in Fortitude Valley. I also study part time online. I am clean and tidy, happy to chat and hangout. I don't make noise and I love to cook! Currently living in Newstead but as my relationship has just ended I am looking for somewhere that allows me to still walk to work. I enjoy art, reading, socialising, gym, and dance :). If I sound like a good match to live with to you please message me.
I work full time in the city, studying part-time so I'm not very social Mon-Fri just because I'm busy/tired but when possible would love to catch up over the odd glass of wine or meal with my flatmate/s. I love art, scary movies, live jazz, animals and reading non-fiction. I like clean and tidy living spaces, but other than that very easy going. I have a fair bit of furniture/love decorating so would prefer to find someone to go house-hunting and move in with first rather than move into an existing sharehouse. I'm all aboutthe Hygge :) I like making a house a home. I have 3 pet rats (the custody arrangement with their Dad/my ex hasn't been confirmed yet). If you're not a fan they can fit easily in my room.
Hello! I believe I will be great to live with because I get along well with people, will keep the place neat and tidy, and have a nice positive energy vibe! I am currently in a musical, performing 8 shows a week and will be in Brisbane from 12 July-14 August.
Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly and always on time with bills. About me: Hi my name is Tammi and I'm either looking to start a sharehouse or join an established one before August when my current lease runs out. I am a clean and tidy person, where cleaning up after yourself in a timely manner and chipping in with the housework is an environment I like to live in. I like to recycle, try to save both water and electricity (which helps when bill time comes around) and keep the house maintained. I mainly keep to myself but am always up for a chat or a housemate dinner and drinks. I come with a microwave, PS4, TV, TV stand and kitchen essentials. I'm happy to chip in for new appliances and furniture if needed. What I'm looking for: Preferably I'm looking at living with a max of four people (with one bathroom per pair) and having a room with built in wardrobes that would fit a queen bed and a tallboy. A dishwasher is a massive plus. I'm looking at a max of $140 per week for rent and looking at living within 20km of the city. Southside is preferable but Northside also works. I'm currently living in Moorooka. I've been renting for years and am specifically looking for like-minded housemates my own age who are already housetrained, considerate towards others and also like a well maintained house. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions for me, want to arrange a coffee meetup or think I sound like what you're looking for. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I've recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. I'm looking for accomodation close to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with my own bathroom. I'm a very neat & tidy person who enjoys a bit of quiet time after work, I would also consider myself as easy-going & someone that can respect other peoples privacy. I love to socialise with friends & family, also going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekend. My length of stay is pretty flexible the minimum would be 4 months, but most likely longer with the right housemate/s. If you think I could be suited as your housemate, feel free to message me. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I am from pakistan. I am a fun loving guy having flexible and friendly nature. I love music, i also play guitar sometimes and i am a bodybuilder too. I like my space and give others their's. I get along easily with everyone. Also i am neat and clean and dont like creating mess.
I would consider myself as a very easy going, clean and friendly person. As long as you're the same we will get along just fine! I have never lived with people who I don't know so for a place to feel like home I would love to be able to enjoy your company, have fun and feel completely comfortable :) I work full time Monday to Friday in Milton so even better if it's near the city too!
Hey all! We are 29 and 31, we both work (one of us full time the other part time) and I also study Medical Laboratory Science at QUT Gardens Point. We are pretty easy going people who like the company of others but love our own space, too. Furthermore, we are friendly, tidy and respectful. We would ideally like a house that is spacious and with a garden. Patrick likes to build stuff so a garden or large garage space would be ideal. What we NEED: - Unfurnished room with ensuite. -Loads of parking/street parking opportunities: We have 3 vehicles between us, one of them is a very large work van. - Lots of storage - Social housemates - Ones that like to have a chat - not looking for a party house though :) - Close to City Cat or close to train station so I can easily get to QUT If you think you have a place, please shoot me a msg and we can work our a time for inspection! Also interested in teaming up to apply for a new property (this would include one other female current housemate of ours) Cheers, Tara and Patrick
We are just coming home from a trip away to Thailand and the UK and excited to meet our future room mates! I'm Australian and Harry's English. We are a relaxed but fun couple who enjoy hanging out with friends and being social. Movie nights are always a yes. We're not a party couple but don't mind a few drinks We're looking for likeminded people who are clean and like a good chat!
Hi, I'd like to introduce myself and Tori my dog. We moved from Mackay in October last year. I scored an awesome job at Hastings Deering. I'm currently living in Alderley in a cute little house, my housemates are moving out so I'm open to moving or getting in new tenants. I've loved living in Aldelrey, it's quiet and safe for Tori my girl (although not a great deal around) so a similar area would be great. In my spare time I'm hanging with mates, at the markets, at yoga, paddle boarding, at ballet and generally doing low key things as I work my ass off during the week (although I'm getting better at going out for a few drinks👏) I don't have a great deal of stuff except for my bedroom suite and my NutriBullet!!! Looking for someone to move in with that I can feel comfortable around. I'd love a place to be able to call home and have my friends feel comfortable visiting. Contact me to meet me! Or for any questions :-)
Hi there! I'm a mexican woman specialits in IT, who has just arrived in Brisbane and you want to find an apartment to share. I am a nice girl, easy going, I like to make friends. I am respectful and tidy. I love music, the concerts and healthy life. I love animals.
Looking for a lovely home close to public transport with people who enjoy a chat over the occasion meal and beverage, but also like their own space. I'm very clean and organised and always clean up after myself. Would love to hear from you if you think i'd fit in well at your place! Madi
I'm a 32 year old Brazilian that just got in town and is looking for a budget room. I'm an easygoing person that likes to chill out, cook something while taking a wine, watch a movie and sometimes party.
Hi there! I’m Jason, 29 years old and have been working full time in Brisbane for a year now as a Draftsman. Before that I completed my trade as a Boilermaker. My hobbies are photography, designing loudspeaker systems, listening to music, working out at the gym and hanging out/going on adventures with my friends. I’m generally quiet and keep to myself and understand the need to respect your space when you need it! If you are the kind of person who likes to have a chat about work as soon as you get home, or are more the kind of person who briefly looks up from their laptop and makes a quick grunting noise resembling “hi”, either way is fine with me! I can chat or do my own thing. I am animal friendly, especially cats, so if you have cat(s) that’s a bonus! I like dogs too if they aren’t those little yappy things and the house doesn’t smell like wet dog. If you are in to the healthy eating & active lifestyle that would be awesome, I’m on a fitness streak now and like to meal prep, doing most of my cooking for the week all at once. If you know how to cook and could teach me something other than salmon and rice I would also be very grateful! If fridge space is an issue I have a brand new stainless-steel fridge and microwave I’m happy to share or sell/put in storage if not. In saying that I’m not one to judge- some days I like to eat pizza and vegetate on my computer doing nothing :D I’m a massive audio enthusiast so just a heads up I will need to cram a lot of equipment in to my room which might seem unnecessary- but don’t worry I am always respectful with it and won’t play loud/late at night or get you a noise complaint. If you love music (any kind) or have a vinyl collection we can be friends! I work full time and go to the gym before or after work. If I want to party and have drinks I always go out to friends places so you won’t find me bringing a stampede of drunk mates the house or waking you up in the week. I’m easy with whatever you want to get up to on weekends and in the week I’m asleep by 10-11pm. Keeping the kitchen and bathrooms spotless will be no issue. I’m tidy and enjoy helping out around the house. You won’t find me leaving a pile of greasy, carbon encrusted fry pans left in the sink with a rotting sponge 2 days after I wanted to cook 2 eggs. I can also fix most things when they break! If you want to find out more or think we would get along shoot me a message! - North side of the river only please - I have a car which I will happily park on the street so need at least street parking
Hi, I'm very new to Australia. I'm a student full time working on my research projects. I'm clean and tidy and expect the same from flatmates. I'm friendly and like socializing, but still like my own privacy and space. I like healthy lifestyle and enjoy jogging and listening to my favorite musics. I'm a big fan of watching good movies with a friend. I cook, perhaps we can share a dinner together. I'm quiet and I'm not a big fan of very crowded places. Non-smoker, I'm sorry no pets. preferred room/suit: Furnished, Female flatmates
Hey :) my name is Tasha and I work as a HR advisor in the finance industry. I love what I do and am generally really busy in the week. I like to come home and relax and would like to live with housemate(s) that keep a clean and tidy place and are generally house proud. I enjoy cooking, drinking nice wine, playing netball, heading to the beach, watching tv and just generally catching up with mates for some laughs. I would ideally like to live with people who have a balance of respecting each other's space but also want to be friends. If this sounds like you, please get in touch :) early July move in date but can be flexible on this.
