Hi! Im currently working in the heart of Brisbane CBD as a shift worker. I am looking to move to a location close by to the city by very early March when my current lease is up. I have lived with very undesirable housemates so I understand how it feels to have others around the house let you down. What makes me great to live with? - Always clean up after myself - Help out with house chores - Driven towards my goals - Always up for a chat
Hi, my name's Ryan and I'm a medical student from the USA. I will be studying at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. I love traveling and learning about new cultures - one of the reasons I'm coming all the way here for med school! Regarding living situation, I usually keep to myself at home. I clean up after myself and try to keep common areas tidy, and I expect you to do the same. Looking for somewhere in close proximity to UQ, Princess Alexandra hospital, and grocery. IG: ryanjaay
EDIT: Just found an AMAZING large house with pool and garden and a couple of other options. Inspection booked for Saturday if anyone want to join. Hi everyone! I am laid back, friendly and easy going french lady who's looking for a house to share. Like most of you i guess, i love music, food, wine, books, beach, travel, friends, chats, walks... all these little things which make life great. I work for a great wine company and as you can imagine i am always happy to share a glass of wine and a bite but also like some down time by myself. Well... by myself i mean with with my dog. Hello! [Griffith Uni Student & **Cat** - Mt Gravatt/Southbank/Nathan/Wishart Area] I'm a friendly student who typically keeps quiet and tidy. I usually enjoy keeping to myself, and out of the way; (usually very busy with study) but I do enjoy artwork (I do digital artwork, and traditional media) as well as movies, gaming and other relaxing hobbies. ** I do have a little ginger cat, Maia, who I would want to have living with me. He is a lovely desexed, vaccinated & microchipped boy with a good nature. Whilst he is playful (and very entertaining), he is not destructive and typically sleeps when left alone. ** I'm from rural NSW, but have lived in Brisbane throughout 2017- and now I am needing a place to rent again for my second year of studies. I am currently studying a doubledegree of Design and Business at Griffith University. (Both Southbank and Nathan campuses). If you are looking for a non-intrusive, quiet housemate/flatmate, I am perfect! But I am not beyond friendly conversation, movie nights or anything of the like! As I have been struck with plans falling through, I am now desperately searching for somewhere to stay. I am a full-time student, so I am currently unemployed; but I receive youth allowance via Centrelink and have been dedicated with rental payments as of last year. I can provide a reference of my previous landlord to assure this. :)
I'm a 24-year-old doctor, so I'm fairly busy most of the time but love to catch up with friends over a beer/wine on the weekend. I'm a pretty easygoing housemate but very clean and tidy. Love music and gigs, and running for fitness. I'm from Brisbane originally - just moving back for work. Ideally I'd be interested in sharing a new or modern apartment close to the city with 1-2 flatmates, or alternatively a nicely renovated Queenslander with young professionals and/or students in the later years of uni.
23 years old working full time as a civil engineer. Originally from the Sunshine Coast and new to Brisbane. Enjoy a healthy active lifestyle but also keen for some drinks with house mates.
I am largely sociable (I work with children at the Children's Hospital) and am respectful of others' personal space. In terms of my living arrangements, I like to be clean and tidy (proper hygiene is enforced unto me every minute of the day at the hospital till it becomes a habit) and have a routine of cleaning up as I go.
Hi! I'm Grace. My friend Tiffany and i are looking for two rooms. We're from China. Tiffany is working full-time. I'm a UQ student and doing a part-time job. So we are quite busy during weekdays. But we are very willing to have a chat after work or study, or hang out together on weekends. We both are very easy-going. We are looking for somewhere very close to a supermarket and bus station. Our max budget is 190/week/person.
Hey:) I'm a Melbourne girl moving to Brisbane to study medicine. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to call home close to UQ and the matter hospital. I intend to work alongside my studies so I would appreciate a more relaxed base rather than a party house. I enjoy cooking, getting outside and chats over tea. I'm very easy to get along with and look forward to getting to know you :) The main things that I'm looking for are: - A private room large enough for a queen bed and desk. - Proximity to UQ uni - A smoke-free house - AC is a plus Message me to find out more:)
so i'm a 22 years old female, i'm an economics and finance student at the University of Queensland, i'm new to Queensland, however i've lived in Melbourne for a good year and half. i'm quiet but also talkative, depending on how long you've known me, I'm clean and tidy, and have great respect for others' privacy since I value my own a lot. I enjoy getting to know new people over healthy meals (I'm vegan, so don't worry I bring my own dishes and like to keep the cooking utensils separate) and fun cocktails. not a smoker, except for the occasional social cigarette --- not at home, of course. not a heavy drinker or loud party animal, either. i read, swim, watercolour painting, sketching, taking photos on my SLR, a coffee drinker, tea sipper, run, enjoy hiking, trekking, being active, listen to classic rock, blues, jazz, soul, indie rock, and pop, watch old classic and foreign films. 2018 is gonna be a challenging year for me, so i'm looking for a place where I can just immerse myself in work and uni, but i do love a good chat on in a while!
Hi! I'm a Structural Engineer working in Fortitude Valley. About me: I love sports (AFL in particular) and fitness, travel, adventure, a variety of music, photography, and anything that involves creativity. I live on the idea of trying everything once, and making the most of every opportunity. I am seeking roommate/s that are considerate, courteous, and that respect shared areas but who also like to relax and have a good time - and non-smokers too please. I have share-housed before, couch-surfed, and backpacked through various countries, so I know the ins-and-out of sharing etiquette! If I sound like someone you would like to meet, then let me know! Talk soon!
I'm a super chilled guy who is doing his last year of engineering at UQ, I work pretty hard during weekdays but I like to enjoy MY weekends having a few beers and socialising with the housemates and friends. I don't really enjoy kind of houses where everyone just locks themselves in their rooms, however, I still respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I enjoy sports. Play soccer or volleyball at least once a week. And also like to hit the gym frequently. My interests also include music, playing guitar, netflix, travelling, dinner and occasional nights out. I would like to team up with some tidy and respectful people, who would be up for a casual bbq, watching movies and doing some sport together. I am looking for a private room in a four or five room house or apartment, preferably with swimming pool. Hit me up if you're looking for a housemate or if you want to team up and find a nice place to live. Cheers
Hello! My name is Mia and I'm a 1st year Bachelor of Behavioural Science / Bachelor of Business Double Degree student at QUT, studying at the QUT Gardens Point Campus. I currently live on the Gold Coast and am looking to make the move up to Brisbane in early Feb, as I'll be starting on the 12th. I'm fairly tidy and am very respectful, and enjoy going on outings and putting my amateur photography skills to the test. I also love animals and talk of all things travel and am guilty of the odd Netflix binge. I'm very chill, fun, and very much enjoy being able to have a laugh. My ideal place would have a car parking space, private bathroom, and private bedroom, although I am open to sharing bathrooms. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I work in the CBD as a Sales and Marketing Assistant and looking to move into a new place with some great housemates! 100% reliable when it comes to paying rent and bills and pretty house trained at this stage of my life too. Weekends are generally spent fairly balanced between lazy days, terrible hangovers, or going for a hike or beach trip.. Ideally I'm looking for some roomies who would be keen to get involved in similar activities! It would be nice to get along well with whoever I'm living with. I'm easy going, happy to have an after work chat, do some "family" dinners, watch trashy TV shows or the very occasional footy game.. and I'll have those nights where I just need to relax and will take myself off to my room too! I'm pretty set on getting a dog this year so hopefully that is considered a plus in your eyes!
Looking for furnished room with ensure or private bathroom, bills included in rent and off-street (always available) parking. Do not message if the rent exceeds $250 and room must be furnished. I am not interesting in signing a lease. Working professional, spends most weekends on the Gold Coast. I love to socialise but also can enjoy my own space to unwind from busy days in the office.
