Hi, I’m Rachel - I work in health care in Ipswich, I’m easy going, friendly and clean! Hate living with messy noisy people! So I’m happy to help out with chores to keep the place nice and clean. I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends. I don’t drink or smoke and am looking for housemates who are similar :) non smoker and not willing to live with a smoker (sorry)
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a clean and sociable guy from Tasmania. I like basketball, gaming, watching shows, going to the gym, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for an affordable share house with high speed internet and clean housemates to become friends with. Happy to team up with like-minded people, or join an existing share house. I have minimal belongings; car, bed, desk & pc. My ideal place would be walking distance to the supermarket and train station. I can move anytime before July 12th. I plan to do volunteer work while transitioning into either employment or study, depending on what my options are once I find a home.
I’m a fun social person who also respects others personal space, I am employed at UQU & love to travel overseas whenever I can. Always Help with doing general housekeeping, Netflix addict & love a good beer, chat after work 🍺 I travel to Melbourne and Sydney to visit family/friends on some weekends away too. Enjoy meeting new people & can get along with most people easily. No dramas, just looking for somewhere closer to work & friendly fun people to live with.
Looking for a unique place to call home. I am 29, from North Queensland and run a garden maintenance business. I am returning to study in September and would like to find a place close to UQ campus in St Lucia. I'm easy going and open minded, respectful and enjoy spending time with others. Open to all walks of life and enjoy being culturally challanged. I can adult and keep tidy and clean up after myself and open to shared meals and beverages with housemates Part of my business involves compost building and ideally I'd like to find a place with a sunny backyard where I can continue to do this as well as establish vege gardens. I seek housemates who are ok with me running my business out of the backyard and are open sustainable living practises. My current lease doesn't end until September however I'd like to find a new home before then so I can focus on my studies but I am in no rush to move and would like to take the time to find a good house with great people to live with. Other things that interest me are music, movies, reading, camping, cheese and crackers 😀 If you think we will enjoy living together feel free to send me a message or give me a call anytime.
Hello Everyone My name is Paul, 33 yrs old currently looking to find a place in ipswich due to working within the area. I have currently just finished my Diploma in Community Services and starting my new Job on Monday. I am looking to move soon (as soon as I get my bond together) and would like to have the chance to view your place. A little about me, I was born and raised in New Zealand and have been living in Australia for 2 and half years. Very clean, tidy and quiet person who does not mind socialising, a bit of laugh and the occasional drink. I do not smoke, do drugs or own any pets. I also understand that people need their space, so I do enjoy getting out and about and would rarely be home due to work commitments. I value respect, honesty, equality, politeness, personal space for me and the people I live with, trust and world peace lolz. If I do not sound like someone you may not be interested in living with, please do not hesitate to say "No Thanks!". As I do not wish to make you feel uncomfortable in your own home. Thank you for reading my post and I look forward to hearing from you all, at your convenience. Kind regards Paulo
I am clean independent and easy going, but also love to have an occasionl drink and chat :) i have a stable part time job and study part time psychology at uq :) I work as a counsellor for young ones, so my profession reflects a lot about me and my values.
Hello! I’m Maryann, but I prefer to go by ‘Mez’. I work full time as a secondary teacher, so I am busy Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and late finishes. I’m a super friendly, active and outgoing person who enjoys a good social, gym/yoga session and weekend adventures but look forward to my alone times too. I am very respectful, and appreciate people who look after themselves and their share living spaces too! Give me a buzz if you’re on the same boat☺️
I am a super easy going guy, who is very considerate of others I live with. I do not leave mess around in shared areas and am hygienic. I enjoy music and gaming and can sometimes be a hermet, but also do like to socialize and am friendly :-). I also currently work at a restaurant in chapel hill up to 5 nights a week.
I'm pretty easy going. I like clean and tidy. Absolutely love to cook. Everybody likes their own privacy and space but at the same time no one wants it to feel like they have to no contact with other people your living with. I work alot and schedule is hectic. But I do enjoy a weekend off and a couple of drinks 😊
I'm a transplanted Kiwi that works full time as a property manager. I don't have any friends yet so won't be having any parties any time soon. And I usually just like to keep to myself as my job has me dealing with people more than I'd like to sometimes lol Im a smoker but outside only and Cigarettes only. I enjoy having a beer while watching the rugby (union), getting out and exploring, Netflix marathons, fishing and camping, and sleeping (which is how I spend at least half my weekend lol). I'm very clean and tidy, will always do my fair share and always pay my rent on time. Sometimes you'll only know I'm home because the kitchen has been cleaned or the floors are a hazard because I've mopped them and don't have one of those yellow caution signs. I just want somewhere where I can feel comfortable being in my room if I want to be alone but also in the communal areas if I feel like bugging you about how miserable your rugby team is. Respect is a huge thing to me, as long as you give it to me, I'll always give it back to you too. Don't steal my red bull, wash your socks with my pretty dresses or mock my embarrassing impromptu concerts while I'm showering and we'll pretty much get on no matter who you are. Prefer not to live with couples though. I have a little Himalayan cat called Rocky. He's strictly indoors and lives mostly in my room while I'm at work. He's up to date with all vaccinations, doesn't cause any damage, is completely litter trained and an absolute character. I also have a pet fish and mussel, both are weirdos but I love them anyway. Any questions after all that, get in touch 🤓
A young, quiet pensioner who is fond of learning, art, science and philosophy. Noah is on the ASD or autism spectrum, with a number of chronic mental health issues that are behind his status as a pensioner. He's very low impact, gentle and compensates for struggles understanding body language by being dedicated to good communication and respect for others. Honest and quirky, good with animals, vocabulary and art, he's looking for other mellow, accepting people, especially other people in the LGBT+ community.
Hey! Im shanon, im 22 in august and have always lived in brisbane.. im a warm and caring Guy , i enjoy cooking so meals are plentyful.. willing to mix it up and colab some foods! , im a feelings eater so empathy is a must! haha. overall i enjoy socialism and connecting in a general manner. Hoping to find someone that understands themselves as much as their surroundings, and :) i enjoy nature and waking up to sunlight each morning with an intended smile haha. overall i would love to find somewhere within distance the public transport due to not having a car, and only my bike :) My budget is 150 not including any bills but preferably (no confusion) 170 with bill included :) Please get back to me as soon as possible, keen to venture again!
I'm a fun person to hang out with but I also like to have time to myself. I love baking so chances are if you live with me there will often be some kind of goodies in the kitchen to snack on. I'm a full-time nursing student so I can empathise when exam season is stressing you out, and I'm always down for a wine and a chat.
My name is Joss, I am a 27 year old and I have just sold my first house. I have been living here in Bardon for 5 years... I love being close to the city but still having the neighbourhood feeling. I work full time in solar energy during the week so I'm always out and about and busy during the week and I like to relax and play music or hang out with friends on weekends. On Thursdays I play an acoustic set at the YHA Pub and sometimes I spend some time on the Sunshine Coast.
I am after an existing room to rent, or even someone to find a new place to lease... preferably the second option so we can start fresh. Females only preferred. I am not a party person, I’m pretty clean, reliable and can definitely fend for myself. I’m pretty quiet, but always up for a catch up and a glass of wine or something at the end of the day! Definitely would like to make some new friends out of this anyway. I come with 2 Ragdoll cats (strictly indoor only) who are pretty chilled out most of the time, they just wanna hang out with humans most of the time and love cuddles and scratches! I have put that I am only looking for 6 months at this stage but am happy I am definitely open to staying longer if it’s the right fit!
Hey future housemate!!! Looking for somewhere July 20-ish, message me if you think we could be friends! I study science at UQ, in first year and moved from North QLD. I'm looking for somewhere to live from July until the end of the year. I want to choose somewhere that's not only a place to live but with people I can get along with! I'm fairly social, although I'm at uni all day every day, and usually doing something on weekends. Always up for a chat or some drinks though! I would consider myself mature, and I can't deal with mess so you don't have to worry me leaving the kitchen dirty ahaha. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably priced (max $200/week) will bills included. I think I'd get along best with people my age who are studying or in the same situation! Feel free to message me if you think I could get along with you and your housemates!!
I am a well adjusted guy, who likes his footy, particularly as the World Cup is coming shortly. I am considerate and friendly and aim to be as tidy as I can be. Not always achieving everything but certainly not for lack of trying. Currently I live in Toowong which is an excellent area to live, however my flatmates are not the tidiest of people and I feel it would be better to make a new beginning elsewhere, as I don't need to spend so much time cleaning up after others. Now they are excellent people and considerate in their own way. I look forward to hearing back from a like minded person, I work hard and love to get away from Brisbane when the opportunity presents, like to stay fit and eat properly which admittedly I don't always succeed with and my ideal of healthy eating is really just to eat less of the bad stuff but still eat it, just not in such large quantities as some might indulge. Currently looking at obtaining a new position with the Federal Government so super keen to have a stable home environment from which to better concentrate on succeeding in the new position.
I am 21, my partner is 24. Need to move due to our housemate (owner of home) is moving and is renting the house out to family friends. This move is very sudden so need to find somewhere asap. I am currently unemployed but my partner works full time as a mobile phone repair tech at Xtreme Communications at Riverlink Shopping Centre in Ipswich therefore we have a stable income although we both get paid fortnightly. My partner has his own car and license. We have a pet cockatiel and 2 guinea pigs in cages. The guinea pigs have an outdoor hutch/house for on the grass. They are usually out during the day and brought in of a night time. Lately they have all been kept inside due to the cold weather although they are cleaned regularly. We are looking to rent a room for a period of about 6 months until we can get some savings together and get our own place eventually. Thank you.
I am a quiet responsible and respectful student who likes to read and write in my spare time. I would like to find a home that is shared with a group of mature aged people. I like to come home make food and to have space... I don't mind socializing when I arrive home but I am more interested in finding people who acknowledge that I need to have space while I am trying to finish off my studies. If I sound like someone who you would consider as a roommate. I will be able to move in by the 16th of June.
