I'm from Mexico and this year I will start studying here in Sydney, I can cook mexican food to share! I'm an industrial designer and a carpenter and I can build stuff for the house :) I like to have order in my room and I like clean spaces.
I am a mature 24 year old young professional originally from Scotland and have lived in Sydney for almost 3 years now. I work in sales in the financial services industry and I'm career focused therefore during the week I usually work until 6ish then go to the gym. Boring bit out of the way... I play in a football (soccer) team, I'm a sociable guy and I would say I am easy going with a decent (although sometimes dark) sense of humour. I wouldn't say I have OCD when it comes to cleaning but I can't handle living in a dirty place. If keeping the place clean isn't of great importance then it probably wouldn't work. I'm more than happy to chip in and/or pay for a cleaner. If you have decent banter, like to socialise at weekends and are easy going then we will get along. Probably looking to share with people older than myself and not with students/backpackers. My lease runs out in Feb so would be looking to move in later this month and can start viewing places asap. I think its always a good idea to grab a drink for a chat somewhere as well if you're up for that!
I am English, 43 years old and been living over here for 16 years or so. I am a relaxed, easy going and a clean and tidy person. I love socialising with friends, but also happy to chill out at home. I am looking for a home, not just a room to rent, so would like to share with someone who would like to occasionally socialise, share a glass of wine, but also be able to respect each others privacy.
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a long term stay of 6 months or more. I'm 32 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a lovely couple who are sadly moving overseas in a few months time. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties etc - but I like to have a friend over for dinner occasionally on weekends. I'm a pretty friendly, gentle and chatty person, happy to hang out with housemates, or do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and always help to keep shared areas in the same condition. I'm not a smoker, and don't have any pets. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming, and love my sci-fi TV shows - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, on weekends I'm usually out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable I'm also prepared to immediately transfer a bond or security payment, and advance rent as required. My maximum budget including bills is $250 pw.
Hi, I'm from Adelaide and currently polishing of my thesis before starting work as a consultant in late February. I'm moving over the 17th of Feb and have a couple weeks of temporary accommodation lined up so I can be flexible with moving dates etc. I've lived in shared places before and really enjoy the social aspect with occasional meals and a few drinks on the weekend etc, but I understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. I'm a tidy person (but not over the top) and intend to bring that to any place I move into. Really keen to meet some interesting people and share a few laughs!
Hi My name is Rob :) I'm a full time landscaper, I'm up around 530 in the morning Monday - Friday. I'm into my gym and fitness through out the week after work. I love a few beers on the weekend. I like to have a chat and think of myself as easy going and open minded. I'm looking for a place with like minded people/person with Sorta similar interests. I'm pretty good at keeping my belongs and the house tidy. I'm looking for a room because I'm trying to save a bit more cash and enjoy company of others . I have references on request for any other information you may like to know. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile
Hello. I'm an easy-going 46 year old looking to share a place in Sydney, where I'll be moving from Melbourne for work on 22 March. I'm fairly flexible with location but keen to live near a train station. Ideally not too far from the city. I am keen to meet up with someone to set up a new property, or move into a partly furnished place. I'm clean and responsible, young at heart, love a drink and a laugh and looking for a friendly, relaxed person to share a place with. I'm respectful of other people and easy to live with. I'm looking to live with someone aged in their late 40's or early 50's who is gainfully employed to either move into a new place or share an existing property. Apart from my bedroom furniture, I do own general household furniture including a fold-up table, bookshelf, coffee table, tv etc While I'm happy to sell off some other furniture, I do own a few things, so if you have a fully furnished unit and/or are not willing to allow someone to truly "share" a space and bring furniture into it, then it's not for me. Otherwise, if this sounds like you it would be great to hear from you.
We are graduate students and close friends, nice to meet you!. We are looking for a home better close to the rail station. Have an car garage.
We are both passionate young queer students involved in a lot of lefty activism in sydney! We enjoy gardening and cooking, going to rallies, as well as having a couple of beers and laughs of an evening. We both have good vibes and love to have fun, so don’t expect this to be a party free house, but we keep to ourselves pretty well and try to keep ourselves in sync to what our other housemates want, so you won’t see us unless you want to (which hopefully you will!). Mostly looking for a third person to rent a three bedder with, so if you are queer friendly and party friendly, hit us up 💞
I'm 27 and a working professional moving to Sydney from Perth. I am looking for a place to call home for the next year or so while I work full time in science outreach education. I am bringing my car for work, so some sort of reliable parking is a must. I am a social person looking to make some new friends in Sydney, but I am not looking for a party house. I love to cook and a glass or few of wine and a chat in the evening. I also love staying fit and healthy to support my food and wine habits at local bars and restaurants. I love animals (if you have them) and am clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space. My ideal budget is $200 per week but it can be stretched to $250 for the right place. If I sound like the housemate for you, I'd love to come for an inspection to see the place and meet you all. Thanks! Please no room shares, only private rooms.
I'm a 25 year old Sydney local working full-time at an architecture studio in Surry Hills. I spend my free time sketching, reading, catching up with friends and playing sport (basketball, martial arts, rock climbing and swimming). I'm easy going, clean and social. I like discovering new restaurants and cafes but I also enjoy cooking at home (I eat meat but also love cooking the occasional vegetarian dish). I'm very open minded and love meeting new people. Looking for a friendly house with cool room mates. I work through the week so most nights I'm happy to chill out with a book but I don't mind the occasional social outing or house party :)
I am a neat freak. I can be a fun person to live with. I go to gym 3 days a week and work 4 days. I alsonattend university once a week. For fun I like to go out on weekends to partay! I also enjoy beach times.
A couple relocating to Sydney for work and study. Alicia is a marketing professional working in tertiary education and Lewis is studying IT. We are very easy going and neat and tidy. We love wine, food and board games and are keen to make friends with the people we live with. We are very busy with work and study so at times will keep to ourselves.
I'm a full time fourth year Secondary Education and Arts student at USYD. I'm a country kid originally (from rural NSW). I am neat and am good at keeping my stuff confined to a small area and am respectful of other peoples belongings. Although I am generally quiet I love to have a good chat with people about almost anything. I love books, movies, Netflix and doggos (although sadly I don't own a dog at the moment). I love staying at home and binge watching David Attenborough as much as a trivia night at the local pub (I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of harry potter and also know a lot of useless movie and tv show trivia). I cook pretty good poached eggs if that floats your boat, an alright risotto and average ANZAC bikkies. I'm not a big party person but enjoy unwinding over a couple of ciders on the weekend :)
Hey, I'm a 26 yr old postgrad researcher at Sydney Uni, my research looks at how the Great Barrier Reef has responded to past climatic changes. I also do some teaching at Sydney Uni. I've lived in a bunch of share houses so I know the in's and outs of communal living, I am clean, respectful of others and enjoy hanging out with my housemates. I have lots of indoor plants and I'm keen on gardening/veggie patches! I'm looking for a nice home with good people that is long term + 6 months but a year is better :)) . In terms of rent - I am working and on a scholarship so I have reliable income! :-)
I'm a 30 year old female, I work full-time as a Case Manager in Surry Hills and study part-time online. My current lease is up on the 10th March and I'm looking to start up a two bedroom flatshare in the Inner West. I come with an amazingly comfortable couch, a fridge, washing machine, kitchen stuff and a pretty terrible tv. I'd like to live with a mature professional (25^) who can do all the basics; keep the house clean, pay rent/bills on time, and not bring the party home. I'm pretty social, when I'm not studying you'll usually find me at the pub with friends or down at the beach. - Send me a message if you'd like to catch up and discuss in person.
Hello, I'm a Sydney local looking to team up or move into an existing flatshare with 1 or 2 other people. I work full time Monday to Friday in HR, and enjoy a chilled and relaxing environment when I'm at home. I like to be able to have a chat and hang out but also enjoy quiet time alone. I have my own bedroom furniture and can provide house furniture if teaming up. I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu X named Abby. She is house trained and chilled, she likes pats but she mostly just sleeps all day.
Young professional (full-time) from Perth looking for a private room in a share house to move into for long term. Looking in inner west or inner east Sydney area as I will be working centrally and using public transport to get around. I'm moving over from Perth for a job in PR and will be working full-time. Would like to move in the week of Monday Feb 26th if possible, but am flexible. I'm clean, considerate, friendly and easy-going. I'm sociable, but also enjoy my own time. So looking for a house with a balance.
I am a masters music student in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I am an international student from Malaysia. I am a polite, tidy and easy going person. Most of the time I will stay on my campus but I am willing to spend time with my friends and housemate during weekends and holidays. I am not a party person and I do not smoke but I like pets in my living place. Besides, I like to cook when I am free. Wish I am the perfect person you are looking for.
I go rock climbing a lot and I'm really easy-going. Clean and quiet but always up for a pint or two at the end of the day
George and I have been living in the Inner West for over two years and love its colour, food, creativity and connectedness to the city. I am an urban designer and George is a videographer, with a shared love of film and travel (we own a campervan which we often take on road trips). Other interests include music (I play violin and George is a drummer), food (we're both vegetarian), running/yoga/general fitness, and Spanish. Easygoing and friendly, we like getting to know our housemates and sharing the occasional meal and conversation.
I'm a pretty chill professional geek working in the city. Gyms regularly, and tries hard to be healthy (not really, don't judge). Flexible with the amount of interaction required on a daily basis. #canshutup #canbeloudandnoisy
