I am 25 years old, Brazilian, working and studying full time. Its really important for me to live in a clean environment, but also want a chilli time with a nice dinner and glass of wine. I am respectful and looking for a house that I can stay as finally call HOme :)
My friend Faye and I are looking for two rooms in a houseshare as we've just moved to Sydney and starting work on Monday. We will be working centrally, both from London and excited to meet some new people and make new lives in Sydney. Always up for a glass of wine to chat after work and go to the beach/have BBQs on the weekend. :)
My name is Peter and I work in health care, office hours mon-fri, occasionally working from home in the evening to do oncall for the company. I'm originally from the UK and have been living in Sydney for the last 3 years. I am very easy going and like to keep clean and tidy. I can be shy when meeting new faces for the first time but that soon passes. I am happy to socialise but at times I like to keep myself to myself, my work is important to me and that means taking myself off to concentrate. I enjoy traveling in and out of Australia so sometimes you may ramdemly see my bags packed and off I jet. I'm newly started F45 so if we end up living together some positivey wouldn't go a miss hehe In my free time I enjoy eating out at different places and seeing what wonderful foods Sydney has to offer.
My name is Clare, I am a 21 year old English female and I'm friendly and enjoy socialising with new people. I have recently graduated from Essex University in England, having studied Marine Biology for 3 years and I am now travelling around Australia, New Zealand and Asia. I will be working for 2 months in Sydney at ARN (start date - beginning of October) and am looking to find accommodation nearby.
Hi I'm Wade, I'm a 22 year old software engineer working in Martin Place. I'm a recovering workaholic, so usually I'm out the door early and back late. I tend to keep to myself for the most part. Usually you'll find me coding, out dancing Modern Jive or watching Netflix, House of Cards, Suits or Game of Thrones, that kind of thing. Happy to share a meal every once in a while of course :) I like to keep things tidy, but I'm not the kind to be over the top about it or anything. Biggest factors in choosing a place for me are proximity to public transport. Ideally less than 5 minutes walk from a train station that takes me into Martin Place or St James. Air conditioning would be nice but not a must. Apartment over house but again not a must. I'll be moving down from Brisbane between November 14th and 21st. Relatively flexible.
Hi, I am Cherry, in my late 20s. I am a full time professional, working in Redfern. At my spare time, I like to go to the gym (Fitness First - a few times a week) and enjoy a sunny walk. I am over the age of partying, just like to enjoy a glass of wine in a quiet night, and working on my Mac. I also enjoy eating healthy and light. I am clean and respectful of others privacy, but always up for a social drink and a chat. I am asian background, but lived in Brisbane for 15 years, Perth 1 year and Sydney for 2 years now. I am looking for a studio / 1 bedroom apartment or a room with own bathroom in/near (2km) the City (only sharing with 1 person, no couple). I am available to move in at the end of October, preferably furnished. Please sms me if you have a place for rent just like this! look forward to make new friend many thanks, Cherry
Hi, all. I'm Lou. I'm good natured and friendly. I have been described as fun and good company. I am equally happy being social or being by myself. Yes, I am in fact, one of those annoying "morning people". I may even make you a cup of tea or coffee just because I'm so effing delightful. I clean up after myself, am respectful of others privacy and property and would never eat any of your food...but leave open bottles of wine lying around unattended and well that's a "finders keepers" type situation in my book. I have raised kids to adulthood so am just looking to live in a clean, easy going, share house arrangement free of people expecting me to cook for them, while I work my behind off and save up to travel basically. Oh, and I also pay my bills promptly.
Hey, we, Anna and Eduardo, are looking for a cosy new home for ourselves (1-2 bedroom/ studio). We are a mature couple, already lived together before, love cooking, being outdoors, sun, beach, yoga,Mountainbiking, travelling and good food. Eduardo ist a Chocolatier and chef from Brazil and Anna used to work in Sales and project management, now as Barista, originally from Germany. We lived in Wellington/New Zealand for the last few years and both travelled a lot. We love to keep our space very tidy and clean, don't have pets and we are both not smoking. Close to T1 train station is a must and a little outdoor area/ balcony a very welcome ad on :).We just moved to Sydney and we would love to hear from you, if you've got a new home for us. Cheers! Anna& Eduardo
Summary: - Working Full-time - Keep to myself usually, but open to socialising - Preferably close to train station - Max. $300 weekly per person. - LGBT+ Friendly - Uni Student friendly Looking to find a place/team where I can feel at home without paying stupid amounts, ideally. Places I have in mind are usually 2+ bedroom places if teaming up, so something like $480 per person each fortnight, maximum. I'm not looking for anything fancy/modern, as long as it is in a relatively safe area, and easy to get to and from Maroubra or Central Station (CBD). This listing will be valid until I take it down so please message if you're interested! I will need to give 4 weeks notice to my current landlord, so that would start from the day I confirm any arrangement. Apologies, if you don't hear back from me in 48 hours I am probably not interested or dead.
Hello! I am from England and have been in Sydney for 3 months, I work in the CBD in medical recruitment. I originally came away as a backpacker but those days are over now (I'm 29 now!!) and I'm looking to build a career in Sydney. I am a sociable person so am not looking for somewhere just to sleep! I would like to live in a social house where everyone gets on but respectful of everyone else they are living with 😊 I am into sport, music and going to the gym but do like a few drinks as well. I'm pretty chilled to live, clean and tidy, respectful of others, etc I would ideally like to move into a place with a nice garden/balcony for summer bbqs and beers! :) Please get in touch if you have any questions! Many Thanks Rich
We are a young Scottish couple who are preferably looking for another couple to share with, somewhere close to a train station. At this moment we are looking for a non-party house, as we have extremely early mornings for work and are focused on trying to work as much as we can to save. In our time outside of work we enjoy our social lives with friends, we enjoy good food, spending time at the beach, surfing, seeing new places and some nice cold beers at the end of a day! Please contact us if you are interested. From Heather and Mark.
I'm Lucie... 34, I currently live in Newtown and I'm looking for a bit of a change in scenery but still in the same area (I've lived in the same house for 2.5 years). I work in projects full time in the CBD. During the week I'm usually out of the house at 7:30 and back home between 6-9. I'm very much a chilled person, low maintenance. I like doing my own thing, which is sometimes nothing and I like people who don't have a problem with that. Always down for a chat - I'm a great listener and give terrible advice so... I pretty much just do normal boring adult stuff, I have a handful of close friends who I love to catch up with, I'm not a big party person. I go up the coast some weekends to see my sister. I do yoga a couple of times a week in Newtown, or zero times, whatever I'm feeling and I surf a bit ~ not well ~ in summer I like to try and get up the coast (Umina) to practice because I'm terrible. Music, art, tv, coffee... travel - I've been to Mexico and Sri Lanka this year and hoping to travel again soon to see friends in the UK and US. That's about it.
Full time professional working for a law firm - for my sins... I'm an active bloke, loves running (trail), keeping fit, watching mind numbing tv to switch off. I'm a morning person, which can potentially be annoying but I'm an uplifting happy bloke who loves to laugh... A lot. I can also be quite mature. By evening I'll generally crash, so I won't talk your ears off. I'm fully domesticated, clean / tidy, organised and extremely respectful. I'm full of empathy, so I'm often too kind but I'm not sure that's an issue. I'm reliable, trustworthy and a good / keen listener. Originally from England, with zero intention of going home - looking for a long term rental anytime from the beginning of October. Loving life in Sydney and always keen for long weekend adventure!
Hi, I'm Sam I work full time at the Sydney Opera House and study screen and sound production part time at UNSW so I keep myself busy. I'm looking for a home with late 20s - 30 somethings. I love going to gigs, reading and always have a new creative project up my sleeve. I'm searching for a neat (but not OCD neat) comfy, laid back home that socialises but where I can have down time in.
Heya, My name is Madeleine although Maddie is fine :) Looking for a fun and awesome place to call my own with someone/someone's. I'm 25 and working full time as a Dental Assistant in Balmain. Super easy going and very clean, tidy and respectful. Definitely love a wine here and there and enjoy a good chat with good humans. Bit of a social butterfly ! If I sound like someone you could get along with please get in contact. x x x
Hi, I'm from Malaysia and work in finance. I moved to Sydney in Nov 2016 on my own. I love discovering new place, hanging out, binge watching series, going out for drinks, casual banter. I'd be down for anything fun (no drama)! I am looking for a furnished place. I'm neat and tidy and would love to live in a house with people who are also neat and clean! I currently live in a share house, so I know what it's like. I respect people's privacy but I'm also chilled out and enjoy socializing. I'm looking for a long-term house where I can preferably bond with the people I live with instead of it just being a place to sleep and eat it. I am looking to move in the next few weeks, latest by 20th October 2017.
Hi me and my partner are coming to backpack to Australia in December , and we are looking for long term accommodation. We plan to apply for work while in Australia. We are down to earth people , looking forward to meeting new friends. We are mess free and do not smoke :) . Our interests are to see the world , we both love to keep fit and meet new people.
* About us: We enjoy drinks and good conversation, but we wouldn't live in a party house or with smokers. We don't have, but we love pets and kids. * About our roomies: Need to respect our space, privacy, and keep the house clean with us. * About the house: Must be near a train station and no more than 20 minutes from Central Station.
