I'm a self-employed digital nomad and Sydney local, looking forward to sharing a harmonious home with a nice person/people. I'm tidy, considerate and happy to be social or quietly peaceful. My schedule's easygoing - we won't be competing for the bathroom in the mornings! For fun I swim, go out to the cinema, theatre, markets, nature/coastal walks and take classes throughout the week in language, dance and music. At home I like drinking tea, listening to podcasts/audiobooks, watching classic films and a bit of cooking/baking. My moving date is flexible; I'm looking for a place to call home and I'm ok to wait for the right flatmates.
I’m 28 and been back in Sydney the past 9 months after two years in London. Am super friendly and laid back and have houseshared for years so am easy to get along with and am super clean. Looking for a lovely house to call home. Am a yoga teacher and journalist and looking for a quiet relaxing house but happy to chill here and there at home with housemates too:)
Hi! We are Horacio and Cecy from Venezuela and Barcelona. We are living in Bondi Junction but unfortunately, we have to move out of our house :( We are in search of a double room :) We are looking for nice and clean people to share our space during our little adventure down under. We are a cook and a photographer, interested in live music, films and going outdoors. We care about the environment, and we try to live a zero waste lifestyle, therefore it would be ideal for us to find flatmates that are also interested or are at least willing to try it. We offer respect for your privacy, keep order in the common areas and companionship, along with some homey meals, tea, and beers to share from time to time.
Scottish and German couple who are very sociable but also enjoy our own space. Very clean and respectful flatmates who have always lived with other people. Looking for a semi social house where we can make friends and cook together and watch films while we work here in Sydney. Both employed full time and like to adventure on the weekends. But also enjoy the occasional lazy day!
Me and my boyfriend Carl are both from the UK, looking to live in a more lively location. We both work full time, I work in recruitment and Carl works in Graphic Design/ UX. We like to go away for the weekends so you may not see us as much, but when we do get to see you, we're happy to have a beer or two!
Hi! I'm a 26 yo italian girl living in Sydney since May. I'm an aupair but it's time for me to move on and to find another accomodation. Atm I'm working also as a waitress 3-6 nights/week but I will need to find another job when leave the family. I'm used to live with different people from different part of the world and I have a strong adaptability, I'm flexible and respectful. I like sharing my life with other people, I would like to live with people that enjoy having a chat or a drink sometimes but I also like having my space and my time. During my free time I usually go to the gym or to the beach and I love traveling and explore the city.
Hello! We’re a couple from New Zealand who have recently moved to Sydney. We both work full time Monday to Friday in the commercial property industry. We’re friendly and sociable and are looking for a flat with likeminded people who don’t mind a chat and a drink every now and then.
A good book, some binge-watching, tea and hot chocolate, and comfy conversation (give or take) are good to keep me running. I'm from India, and the past few years have seen me study and work around Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and, most recently, Chennai. I'm a student of English literature, with a masters in and a passion for teaching the language. I was a copy editor at the children’s division at Penguin Random House for a bit, before switching over to focus on my teaching career. I’m enrolling as a masters student at the University of Sydney and would love nothing more than to establish a balance of downtime, work and miscellany! While I'd be the first to champion personal space and solitude, I would also love to have a friendly face to share my everyday with. A congenial, warm home environment would be lovely, with a mix of shared-space time and giving each other room. This past year, living alone in a new city, while great in its own way, has also made me realize something major about myself – I'm more particular than I thought, about keeping my living spaces clean. I might not get the Monica-Geller Award, but I think I'd be a nominee. The good thing is I can laugh at myself. Language fascinates me, as does a story well told. I am a fan of all puns—good and bad—and lame comebacks. I have surges of health-consciousness, a magpie-like tendency to hoard memorabilia and a good cry every once in a while to cathart—I also think Urban Dictionary ruins everything! Oh, and I love a good bargain. Write to me if you got through this and think we’d get along!
We are clean, hardworking, friendly lads looking for accommodation for our stay in Sydney. We would like our own private rooms but not essential. Myself, Ryan am an electrician and also ex British army and I enjoy working out. Matt is an office worker who spends his spare time in the gym. We are both huge football/soccer fans!
I'm Matt, 28, and I'm currently moving back to Sydney after an 18 month stint in Melbourne. I work in media/advertising at a large agency based in Barangaroo so I have standard 9-5 work hours. I'm a pretty social person and would love to live with people who enjoy a drink and sharing a meal from time to time, but I can also respect your personal space. I'm a neat and tidy person, and I've lived in share houses since I was in university, so I know how to be respectful and considerate of other housemates. More than anything else, I've missed decent beaches while I've been in Melbourne, so once I'm back that's where you'll find me most weekends. I try to run a couple of times a week to keep fit, and occasionally even find myself in a gym. I also come with a large 4K TV, a brand new fridge and several pieces of furniture (mainly a sideboard/buffet and a TV console), but I'm also happy to keep them in storage if those aren't needed for the house.
I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I have a cute little cavoodle puppy living with me part time. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home. I have a place in mind if anyone's interested.
We are backpacking around Australia on a working holiday visa. We are really easygoing and relaxed and love to socialise but also like our own space. We are both working and are really tidy people.

Hi there, we are couple from Czech republic (Working holiday and studying English). Both mature, pay on time, respectful to cultures, genders and races also pets :) Lived in shared space before, we like kitchen clean, but we do not like to freak out about two dirty plates in a sink and some spots on a stove, no party people. We like beers and chat with flatmates, but also our own space and privacy. Moving in from 1-7/10/2018. Silvie will be full time employed (hospitality, office), big movie geek and passionate diver. Ales will be studying English in CBD and loves to paint with sprays and sports. Some garage or spot in basement would be super extra perfect so he can create, but not a requirement. 350$ is max we can pay, all included. Cheers!
I am a clean, tidy and friendly person, love to have a laugh aswell as respect other people. I work Monday to Friday from 7pm to 3:30pm, so you will see me awake around 5 in the morning making a coffee getting ready for work. Usually a quiet person, i don't party or drink very often. Just an easy going guy who needs a place to live :)
Hello! I am looking for a private furnished room to rent ideally with other female(s) starting October 18th. I’d prefer to be either near Bondi Beach or the city. About me: I'm a 29 year old female from Vancouver, Canada. I’m a flight attendant/personal trainer in Sydney on a working holiday visa. I’m easy to get along with and fun but also mature, respectful and tidy. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and spend time on the beach. I also like to go out to eat and enjoy having drinks with friends. Since I’m new to Australia it would be nice to live with like minded people!x
Hey! My name is Tereza and I’m soon moving to study and work in Sydney from Czech Republic. I already studied in Canada, where I have been in homestay. So I do have previous experience with living abroad and sharing a place to live with people of multiple nationalities and all walks of life. Experience suggests respect and honesty are essential, so let me tell a bit about my preferences. Overall I like my personal space clean and organized (little bit of OCD, haha), so I tend to get best along with people of similar preference. I’m fun but an introvert (INTJ), never party and don’t smoke/have pets/have children. I don’t get along well with loud, party loving, unorganized people I lead healthy, minimalistic lifestyle, and like open spaces, my own personal space and dislike clutter Own (semi)furnished room would be preferred, the closer to center and train the better. My budget is $300/w (including bills). Fast internet is a big plus for me! Happy to answer any questions! :)
I am a calm and orderly person, I work from Monday to Saturday and I study in the English afternoons, that is why the most likely thing is that during the week I spend the whole day outside and I arrive around 10 at night, so the important thing for me is to find a place that respects the tranquility of the nights in the week, if the place has protection for insects (spiders) would be ideal if you do not have it, I can sleep with an insecticide under my pillow. The weekend I like to share, go out with friends or just relax and rest.
Hi there, Is there a way I can make this more interesting? Anyway I'm Hugh and I'm a 31 year old exercise physiologist (points if you know what that is) and work full-time at a physio practice in Surry Hills. My work days are shifted early so I start around 6:30 everyday and am finished early everyday but Wednesdays. When not at work I don't mind the odd game of golf, surf, gym and beer. I have two indoor-only cats coming with me which I know may be an issue for some. Thanks. Hugh
