I'm clean and respectful as well as aware of the need for personal space. Would love to find some new friends and hang out over meal times and Netflix binges. I'm a home body most of the time but when my friends and I do go out its usually to lunch and either a movie or an escape room (which we are a little obsessed with).
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
Moving soon and just checking on what's out there. I work full time in the city and am looking for a room somewhere around the Newtown area. Have a bunch of movies and books that all are welcome to along with some furniture and things that can either go into storage or be used as needed. Into all the usual type stuff. Movies, music, books, writing, sports & exercise etc. Pretty tidy and easy going. I don't mind a drink and a laugh but also fine to leave you to your own devices. I don't believe I have any weird personality defects, No OCD, no crazy pet obsessions or any kind of shoe phobias. Pretty sure i'll be a good room mate.
I'm originally from South Australia and am moving to Sydney for a new job. I've had great experiences living in share houses before - in Adelaide, Canberra, Indonesia, Melbourne and London - so looking for more like-minded new friends to share with. I'm the sort of housemate that enjoys unwinding with a glass of wine and a chat at the end of the day, but happy also to do my own thing. If I'm home, you'll probably find me in the kitchen cooking, in the living room reading, or in my bedroom playing guitar or looking after plants. I am nature-seeking and a bit of a culture nut so I like to go out and explore on the weekends (and am happy to have company). Also since I'm from interstate I'll be looking for housemates that are cool with me hosting the occasional visitor. If that all sounds good, I reckon we'll be right. P.S. I am currently travelling in the States so won't be able to look at places/meet people until mid December, and looking to start renting around the same time. Please keep this in mind when messaging me, as I know some of you will be looking to fill places sooner.
I am from Canada moving to Sydney to pursue my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I enjoy staying active whether it be through sports or the gym. I am a pretty easy going, tidy person who would love to catch up with my other flatmates over dinner or drinks, but also respect everyone's need for alone time. I love to travel and am excited to explore the city and beaches of Sydney on the weekends! Looking for a place to move into early February 2019.
Hi, my name is Maria! I am half Russian, half Austrian, who is studying in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and going on exchange to Sydney! I am very tidy, organised and fun to live with (at least according to my current and previous flatmates). I love to have dinners and chill all together after a hard day of work or uni! Generally,I am very open-minded, friendly and helpful!
I’m clean and tidy Japanese female currently studying English and Film in USYD. I’ll graduate soon in next year, and now try to find full-time work (while currently working as a freelance translator/photographer/writer). I’m a bit shy at the first time, but still friendly and love to share chats, coffees and beers! I respect other people's privacy and had the experience to live in a share house with four people before. Also, I love animals!
Hello I am a tidy and easygoing guy looking for a room, preferably close to USYD. I am 23, from Greece and even though I may used to be a bit of party person, as it is my final semester and I want to improve my WAM I plan to limit it to some quiet drinks with the roommates every now and then. I spend the last year on exchange in the Netherlands sharing an apartment with four other people and we created a home environment I that I would like to have it again.
Hi! My name is Lucy and I work in IT. I enjoy going to F45 / the gym, playing video games, reading, watching movies (especially horror and action) and drinking the occasional Guinness. I am down to earth, LGBT friendly, animal friendly and enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine / bottle of beer, some Netflix and video games. Not a big party / clubbing person either. I currently live at home with my parents in Mosman, but I am looking to move out next year. I am considering getting a few cats or a dog when I move, but if this causes an issue, I can wait until I live alone. I am a big animal lover and I currently own a dog which would stay with my parents, so it would be great to meet a fellow animal lover. I am easygoing and enjoy a laugh, and if we become friends while rooming together, then that is an ultra plus too! Always up for making friends, especially new video game / movie buddies.
Hello! my name is Patty, I have moved from Adelaide to Sydney about 3 months ago. I have graduated from Uni last year and currently working as a full time designer in an architectural firm. On weekends I like to go out and explore Sydney and try my best to exercise or sometimes have a big sleep in for a relaxing weekend. I am friendly, clean, tidy and respectful. I love meeting new people and have fun but I also like to have time to myself after a long day from work.
My name is Nils, I'm a freelance graphic designer, finished study and actively looking for full time work. I have a perfect track record of paying bills on time. I'm 26, friendly, respectful and clean. I am open to share a beer/wine/taco night or a chat but am not too rowdy and respectful of alone time if preferred. I try to make a living space as homely as possible with plants and wall decorations. I enjoy the odd hike or trip to the beach with mates. I am looking to move in around the 21st of December but am open to moving in earlier. I do have my own furniture such as a bed, desk and chest of drawers, but open to using furniture already there. Cheers, Nils
I'm looking for a place for me and my boyfriend Jake, both 28 years old; and our little one year old beagle Poppie! I'm French, he is English. Jake has been sponsored as an electrician and I'm working in the hospitality industry. Jake is English so of course he likes football and beer, also he likes to say he goes to the gym (once a week ahah). I'm obviously in love with wine, bread and cheese, part of being french of course. I love to cook so the lucky people who choose to give us a fantastic home may have a chance to taste my famous vegetarian french cuisine ahah We are both very clean, really social and easy going. We like to chill after work, we are looking for a friendly and warm home, so we would be happy to share dinners or drinks sometimes.
I’m originally from Brisbane, and have spent the last couple of years in Melbourne. I’m moving to Sydney for work, which is in humanitarian logistics. It’ll also be the 7th city I’ve lived in throughout my 20s, so I’m very much used to, and enjoy, living with others! I like a community orientated household and normally become pretty good friends with my housemates. When I’m not at work, or studying for my Master in Supply Chain Management, you will most likely find me at orcheastra rehearsal, the beach, having a picnic or a sneaky vino with my housemates and friends!
This is our a gap year. We are friendly Friends, and both studying fashion design in Korea. However, We decided to move out together to Sydney, 20th of December. We are looking for city side or easy to take a public transportation. RIGHT now, I'm staying in Melbourne, and Jin is staying in Seoul. We have no trouble to speak in English. Send Me a Messages Anytime, I'll check ASAP
My boyfriend and I have been travelling around Australia, following the wine making seasons. We are looking to settle down in Sydney for a while before we move on to our next project. We are very chilled and tidy, we're social and love meeting new people but equally we are independent. We've already done a stint in Sydney and so both have our own friends there. We're looking for a nice, amicable home to put down roots in for a while.
I'm planning to move to Sydney this coming January 2019 to study. I'm born and raised under the hot Philippine sun. I'm very sociable. My interests include the following : Psychology, cats, dogs, Science, movies, TV series, music, MMA, books, and memes.
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, <30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - ZERO interest in boarding houses. Prefer the person I’m renting from also live in the same place. - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - private room only (this shouldn’t have to be said but sadly it seems I need to explicitly say it) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse full of early 20s. I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof... but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the house is big. But I am NOT looking for a boarding house. I prefer to actually be renting from the people I'm living with, or be put on the lease with them. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
