I'm a 27-year-old immigration lawyer from Brisbane who will be working full-time in Sydney CBD. I have a ten-month old kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits) and the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. I love cats and would expect my housemates to be mammal-friendly. (You don't necessarily have to be cat-friendly, as I have had numerous friends who considered themselves "dog people" instantly fall in love with Mimo when they stayed over at my place. My current housemate of 1.5 years in Brisbane is also one of them!) As I have a busy work life, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer gated apartments and accommodation that is ideally not carpeted. Your place would also ideally not have leather couches or anything leather that you care about; or if you do, be open to my putting a couch cover on it at my expense. Whilst Mimo has always been trained not to scratch anything other than her cat tree and scratch toys, she can leave the occasional faint marks on the leather surface when she prances around. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. As my work is extremely hectic, I am keen to share a house or apartment with heavy sleepers who are considerate with limiting noise between 11pm and 8am on weekdays. I would not mind occasional chats and drinks on the weekends. My move-in date will have to fall on 1 January 2017. I am on the lookout for a six-month lease. My boyfriend may join me in April 2017 and we are happy to pay for a couple's rate for the room from then on. If he does not join me, I will be happy to extend beyond the six months if the house is great as Mimo (my cat) does not enjoy moving. I do not drive so I would like to find a place that is within 10 minutes' walk from the train station.
Generally a friendly and tidy person. I'm taking a year off before masters to earn some money, meet folks, travel around NSW and enjoy myself in general. For fun I tend to enjoy both casual drinks and the occasional gig or night out, nothing too out of the ordinary. Interests include mostly stuff from the arts and humanities, I dabble in a lot of stuff but I mainly play guitar/anything with strings & frets and enjoy writing short stories and such. Love a good read. Always looking for cool things to decorate with. That's about it :)
Hey, I'm a graduate medical student so I'm super quiet but don't mind the occasional netflix binge or group dinner. I'm pretty on top of cleaning (all that good hygiene practice you get as a medical student). I like cooking (meal prep come at me). I've lived in share accommodation before and have my share of roommate horror stories. I work part time as well as studying so making rent will never be an issue. I'm not particularly looking to move before new years but am flexible.
Hi, I'm a French guy looking for a furnished room with its own bathroom, in a modern and fully equiped apartment/complex close to public transport and shops. On/off street parking would be ideal. My budget is $350 maximum, all bills included. I'm a clean, tidy, responsible and sociable person looking for like-minded flatmate(s). Cheers ! Alex

Abit more about me I'm 23, outgoing, friendly, live an active lifestyle i have a passion for fitness and health, I have a ute perfect for ikea trips etc. I have a lengthy rental history and have share housed before through flatmates. love to hear back from you if I sound like the right fit for the house shoot me a text or feel free to give me a call. And we can arrange a time to catch up. Cheers Matt.
Hi, I'm Alli, looking for a new place to live after a few months overseas travel. I work in dental, keeping mostly standard hours. Im easy going, tidy, and respectful. My weeknights tend to be spent chilling out after a days' work, cooking dinner and maybe checking out a movie. Weekends I'll get out and find some fun, but like to keep it quiet at home.
I'm a naturopathy student studying in the city and love the beach, bush walking, markets, cooking healthy food and going out for dinner. My study is hectic so I appreciate a zen vibe and like to get a long with my housemates and have some social time together when the mood strikes. Looking for a nice place to call home.
We're an easy going couple, we like to keep the house nice and tidy and are both going to be recently re-located to Sydney from Canberra. Both working, with Mary finishing her degree. Happy to share the jobs around the house. Pretty quiet people during the week, but like to catch up with friends and meet new people on the weekends. Zack already has a full-time role in the CBD, and Mary is looking in that area as well, would like to find someone to reduce the cost of living but get the perks of living close to the city.
Am easy going. Considerate of others. Reliable. Friendly. I clean up after myself. Enjoy my privacy but can be a social butterfly. Love music, karaoke and movies. Enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I run a Bible study group every fortnight and would love to host this at home on occasion if my potential flatmate is cool with this. Also would love to have visitors (close family and friends) over on occasion. So please consider this before contacting me. Thank you. :)
I’m Kirsten, I’m 31 and from New Zealand and I’ve been in Sydney for two years. I am looking for a short term accommodation as I am looking to rent a house with a friend of mine and just need somewhere in the interim (could become long term if I love the house and flatties though!!). 2 months is just a rough gauge, could be more could be less (most likely more, as I'm super busy at work!) My $300 budget is all inclusive (unless it's a fantastic house and large room then I am willing to negotiate) I work in the hospitality industry (bartending in a restaurant in the city) so my schedule is mainly evening shift work. I’m not sure if you have any preconceived notions about hospitality workers, but I am not the rowdy type although I do like having a quiet drink every now and then. I am a non-smoker and don't mind living with smokers but as long as they keep it outside. I finish up work around about midnight, so would be getting home quite late but I would be respectful of everyone else in the house and keeping noise to the bare minimum. Spose a bonus of living with me would be that we'd never be needing to use the kitchen or bathroom at the same time when getting ready for work! After work, if I'm not already exhausted, I'll wind down by either having a jam on a PlayStation (which I have yet to purchase) or watching a bit of Netflix, quietly of course. On my days off, I'll usually be out and about doing my own thing, unless I've decided it's a cleaning day and I will attempt to sort out the house top to bottom. I am a little bit of an introvert but I am friendly and respectful and pretty mellow and chill. I would love to become friends with my flatmate(s) and make it my home, and not just be an extra body in the house to cover the rent, but I do also value my alone time. I’ve always been the lease holder of places I’ve lived, so I’ve been in charge of paying rent plus organising and collecting utility bill money from other flatmates. Bills and rent will always be paid on time. I’m tidy and always clean up after myself. I like to recycle whenever I can, and will carry recyclables with me until I find an appropriate bin (if I'm not at home) Absolutely love dogs (more than happy to help look after them if needed), but am not willing to live with cats. I also have a car so I will need to have access to unrestricted parking (on-street or off-street, either/or is fine!) Get in touch if you think we'd get along great! cheers!
Hey! I'm a part-time student, part-time working in the finance industry in the city. I'm easy going, super clean, reliable and love pets. I spend a lot of time checking out live music, travelling and snowboarding.
Hi I'm Elena, 36 year old, Italian! I have a beautiful dog Bella Cavalier King and we are looking for a place to stay long terms. I have my little shop on-line of Eco Soy Candles and other little things. I have also a little weekend job (only Friday and Saturday). I like to clean the house and I hate to live in dirty place. I'm very quiet but I'm Italian and sometime when I talk on skype with my mum I can be a bit loud:-) My dog is very clean a she sleep with me and when she's left alone she doesn't damage anything! she's a very good dog. I'm looking for a place with a backyard for my dog. I'm a very responsible person , I have a car so I hope there is a car park available nearby. Hope to hear from you soon Thanks from Elena & Bella
Hey, I'm Tom. I've been here in Sydney for about 18 months having moved up from Hobart, I'm 24 and I've just started a grad job in the CBD, working full time. I'm social and always happy to join in the fun and meet cool people. I play guitar and love music. I also play Aussie rules football for Balmain. I'm stable and social, looking for some cool people to share a place with. Hoping to meet other people who have their own cool things going on and want someone to be a real part of their household. I'm clean, without being crazy, and I'm happy to contribute wherever needed around the house.
I'm a law/commerce student moving from Canberra to Sydney to take up an exciting new job! I've had plenty of experience living in share houses, so I know what makes a great shared experience (it also means I've got a spotless rental record). In my free time, I enjoy rowing, running, yoga and baking. There's also nothing like having a good ol' chat with your flatmates over a cuppa and scrabble! Feel free to send me a message if you're interested in sharing with me. After all, sharing is caring.
I'm friendly, I'm easy going, considerate, neat, and love a good laugh. I've just finished Uni in Newcastle and have been offered a new job in Sydney so I'm wanting a place for a short period of time to work out where I might want to eventually settle down.
Hey, I'm Matt. I work in TV as an editor. I love getting to the beach, going to gigs, meeting up with mates for a few drinks in the park or one of the many fine establishments the inner west has to offer, the occasional art/cultural events, and the odd festival if life permits, and of course Netflix and music :) I also like to chill at home and escape the outside world. I love a good chat about anything and nothing. I'm pretty laid back and independent. I like to get to know the people I live with and I do love the occasional cook up and cheeky glass of something something with the housemates. I'm tidy and respectful of other housemates and shared spaces. I'm fairly socially active, but do my partying outside of the home, I like home to a sanctuary from the outside world - but I'm not adverse to the occasional impromptu gatherings or house parties if we are feeling it! I'm looking for a friendly fun home to share with other cool humans! I'm technically 36 years old, but I don't think I've ever mentally moved on from 29... ;) My move in dates can be very flexible, anytime in November or December. I'm looking for long term accommodation preferably at least 6 months, though I'd rather 1 year plus.
My name is Carlos and I have been living in Australia for the last one year and a half. I am interested in doing outdoor activities such as, hockey, basketball and running. I work as an architect for a multinational company and this explains why I am organize, tidy and always looking for the smallest detail. I looking forward to finish my master degree in November so I can start doing Wing Chun and watch a movie. I love spicy food and I try to cook mexican food regularly.
I am a young female (24years) who is a non-smoker. I am hardly home as I work two jobs and also have to balance a social life. I am laid-back, chilled and easy going. I am clean and tidy- sometimes a bit OCD with cleanliness and hygiene. Times when Im home, I like to enjoy my alone time by watching movies and cooking and baking (obviously food that's not going to make the house smell bad). I'm straight to the point, like to have a joke and laugh, and do enjoy having a chat with my housemate. I like to respect my housemates and their space as well.
Hi, I'm Josh, a 24 year old graphic designer, working full-time at an agency in Sydney CBD. I am quite a tidy person and consider myself to be very open-minded and relaxed. Love to have drinks but I am not dependent on this, I have some friends of my own. Respectful of others space of course. Willing to move in pretty much ASAP.
looking for a flatmate, to move in with me and my partner in wentworth point. I work in parramatta m-f and like to chill during the week. I prefer my weekends full of fun and sun. Im hoping my flatmate will be someone who doesnt take themselves too seriously and can balance working hard and enjoying life. im going to view flats this saturday, happy to meet for a coffee and see if we would make good flat mates :)
I'm a full-time art student and work part time in an art gallery. I'm fairly quiet but also social and easygoing. I'm very tidy and reliable. I'm looking for a short term place that's friendly and clean.
