I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time.
My name is Shekh, pronounced like milkshake, only without the oil money or an Etihad firstclass cabin full of falcons. Perhaps one day a Jetstar supersaver bundle of pigeons. I'm a 27 year old ex-Canadian part-time shift-working junior doctor. My sleep and work schedule are erratic but I've lived with some more clockwork oranges and it's been a nonissue. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or fall in love, but regularly rock out to music that glamorizes these things (...all music?). I don't know what else to say to convince you I'm not a delinquent while simultaneously repelling delinquents. I'm just trying to save on overhead and split some bills with another human being without having to marry them, in a spot with heating/cooling, a washer/dryer, quality internet, enough space for my sit-to-stand desk, mutual respect, and firm shower pressure.
I am looking for a place to stay that is furnished and close to Woden or public transport. I understand short term can be difficult, so I am flexible on location. I have been living in Canberra for a month and my contract at work got extended for another month with the possibility of extending again. At this point, I would be moving out 26 August. I am easy going, social and clean. I love binge watching tv series and I am a secret fan of the Bachelor. My one talent is making brownies and I can make a mean avo on rye. Happy to meet over coffee to chat.
Hi, My name is Gabby. I am going to be moving to back to Canberra very soon from Melbourne I have just got a job and will move up in August-September. I am a complete whovian and so have lots of Who related stuff. I am a big geek and love being so. Interested in many things arts, politics, culture and love to talk. I have a pretty good friendship group in Canberra and am looking forward to moving back. I am quiet and considerate having lived in a few long term sharehouses. I do have furniture but I don't have to bring it with me as I am renting out my apartment here in Melbourne. I hope what I have written has piqued your interest in meeting me. Cheers, Gabby :)
G'day there. Easy going Aussie guy with an awesome half sized kelpie (2 yr old) billy. He grew up and lived me in a pub that I was running recently so awesome around homes and people. I'm a rugby nut, Australias first openly gay 1st grade premiership coach . Moving from perth over to ACT to be back close to family and friends and to give the Canberra lifestyle a go. Will be working in hospitality and involved in rugby so won't be around much! Usually up most mornings to take Billy for a run and try to get out and about at some other time during the day so he (and I) get plenty of exercise. Love going for a few beers/dinner or just chilling at home over a bottle of red (don't mind cooking the odd meal for my roomies if we are all home and keen to catch up every now and then as well).
Pretty chill guy who enjoys a few drinks every now and again. I respect personal space but am always up for a chat about anything and everything. Will be bringing my one-man band (Casio keyboard, acoustic guitar). Feel free to use (just don't break anything...). I play games with mates on Sunday nights (and occasionally Tuesdays) and we're always looking to expand the crew. 9am-6pm work hours Mon-Fri, give or take. Can cook quite well and happy to share a meal. Not a huge clean freak; as long as you clean up your own mess, I'll be happy. I don't mind animals but don't have a pet of my own. The less hair the better, though. Looking to share with one or two others, ages 19-28 or thereabouts, either working full/part time or studying. No couples.
We are both very friendly and very tidy. We enjoy Netflix binging, copious amounts of tea, and all animals. Looking for a room that can accommodate the two of us comfortably and preferably would not want to share a bathroom with too many people! I am a student (currently online but transferring to UC next year) as well as working part time, and my partner is working full time as a mortgage broker. If you would like to know more about us/meet us please feel free to contact me :)
I am 25 and work full time at the legislative assembly. I'm easy going and generally enjoy keeping to myself but enjoy a casual chat in the evening. I spend most weekends either out watching sport, playing myself (I play Aussie Rules and Ice Hockey) or just simply catching up with mates.
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
Hello, I'm a recent public relations graduate currently doing bar work. I like to hang out and watch movies but love geeking it up on my computer as well. I love dogs but currently have no pets and like a good balance between being social with a few wines or beers and being lazy. As I am currently awaiting full time work in my field my current max budget for a place is $200pw Cheers!
I am a Law student at the ANU and work as an Au Pair. I ride horses here in Canberra and also enjoy running and cycling. I am quite a sociable person, although very busy and am unlikely to be around much. I have done the whole boarding school, college, share housing thing for years so understand house etiquette and am generally clean and considerate.
Hello, I am a tidy and quiet person, and I enjoy chatting with people. I am a professional structural engineer. I like watching movies and documentaries, playing computer games and do exercise. I'm looking for a flatshare and have a budget of $250 per week. If you are interested in my profile, please get in touch. Thank you
Hello, I am Mengchen a 23 year old graduate from ANU. I am working full time as Software Engineer now. I want to look for a shared house with a single room myself. I hope the Internet in the room is good and there is a at least off-street car park for my car.
Hello! Somewhat new to Canberra (9 months) and absolutely love the tree change from Sydney. I am the travelling/adventure type so I tend to spend most weekends exploring. I also work in aviation so that keeps me fairly busy and not so "grounded". In between post-grad study and full-time work I can be quite a home body with adventures tailored to baking disasters, or simply giving in to a glass of red and take away. Would love to find a new place to share with people I can call friends and continue to explore the ACT and beyond! I would be open to leasing a property with others or moving into an existing residence. I do come with furniture and a lot of books - furniture being optional :) Looking forward to meeting you! Lea
My name is Julia and I am a 24 year old Swede. Currently working for one of the big four banks in the Woden Valley. On my spare time I enjoy playing floorball (northern European sport), read books and explore the nature. I work in customer service, so I am easy to get a long with, tidy and open-minded. Looking for a sharehouse/share apartment with preferable all females. Can move in ASAP.
Hi! My name is Lizzie, I'm in my early twenties and I work part time. In my spare time, I play video games and other dorky stuff. I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly with a fenced yard, as wherever I go, my little rescue girl goes too (more on her later). I also have some fish, but don't worry, they keep to themselves. I'm more than happy to live with other dogs but no cats, I'm deathly allergic. I'm a smoker, but I try to be as considerate as possible about it (I clean up after myself and I never smoke indoors or near non-smokers). While I am friendly, I'm a bit of a hermit and tend to keep to myself most of the time, although I'm happy to have a chat or lounge around watching TV occasionally. I'd prefer no more than 2 housemates because of my introverted-ness. As I mentioned, I have a dog. Her name is Leli and she's an almost-8-year-old corgi x foxie. She's very much a "people" dog and is eternally in search of tummy rubs. She's also a real clown. She's fully housetrained. As she's a rescue dog, I don't know too much about her life before she came to me, but she's quite timid around strangers, particularly men (although she's not aggressive). If you have a dog, introductions will have to be slow as she's very nervous around new dogs, but she learned pretty quickly to live in peace with my parents' dopey old cavaliers. And I work in a pet store so if you have a dog (or any small pets etc.), you get to take advantage of my sweet staff discount! Unfortunately, I won't be able to move until the end of August, at the earliest. So, that's it I think. Hit me up if this sounds workable! :)
I'm a public servant who has just moved from Melbourne. I'm clean, sociable and enjoy wine, Netflix and petting dogs. I have a car and will require a car space. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom, but am open to not having it, should the right property come along.
I'm a quiet, tidy housemate who will happily join you for a board game, a chat or a Netflix marathon. I am currently studying a Masters of teacher librarianship and working as a casual teacher. I do have a young cat (1 year old) who can be hilarious and I'm sure would enjoy sharing with other pets. I am returning to Canberra, having lived there in 2015, after teaching in Western NSW.
My name is Lottie, I am 26, Canberra girl, no partner, friendly, laugh a lot and chatty but not in your face! By day I'm a carer for clients with disabilities, on the side I freelance my makeup services (ladies; wink wink... I come with lots of makeup) and at night....i become cat woman. Kidding I sleep very soundly. Preferably looking for a place long term with an ensuite. But I am happy to compromise. I love animals of all kinds and will delight in walking your dog if you have one. Other notables; I'm not a clean freak but am certainly neat and tidy. I listed am available from 1st August onwards but I'm flexible about that. I love antiques and I play guitar and sing. Looking forward to meeting you :)
