Hi there! I'm Lauren :), Looking to move into an all-female rental property. I'm currently on welfare working as an on-call causal Teacher Aide, My current housemate wants to stay in Sydenham but because of my work commitments I need to move closer to the suburbs/city. I will not be continuing the lease on April 11th as I need a place that suits me better financially. I am a very tidy and quiet person. Most weekends I will be seeing my partner. On the odd occasion he will be staying with us, he's in his 30's so he's very quiet and respectful. I really enjoy housework, (no matter what it is). I am always open for house meetings if you feel it is necessary and keeps us all on the same page. I'm really looking forward to meeting new, more mature people than what I am currently living with. I have my own car so I have that bit of independence.
Love to keep fit! Going gym and exercising is a daily for me. Always up for a new adventure and anything outdoors. Easy going and keep to my self mostly tho always up for a chat and do enjoy the occasional beers on the weekend. A Clean and well looked after living area is important to me and looking for people with a similar mindset.
Hello! I'm an Animal Studies graduate who's about to start a certificate in Companion Animal Services. I have three rats Milo, Drac and Lucy. They're old, young, beautiful and sleepy. If you have an animal, or more than one, I could take care of them while you're away. I'm hoping to find a housemate who's able to do the same for me. The rats are caged and easy to care for. I set up automatic payments so my rent goes through effortlessly. I'm happy to help around the house as I'm generally clean, tidy and organised. It may be obvious, but I want to live with more animals. I like built-in robes, open communication, dumpster diving, recycling and relaxing. It would be cool if you do too. I'll consider anywhere within half an hour of Broadmeadows. Please message me if you think you might have a suitable place!
Hi there, i'm a 29 year old working in Sales & admin! I've lived out of Home for a while now so I understand the need for balance in socializing as well as down time. I like things to be clean and organized! I have a medium size dog who’s a super big smooch! I enjoy gym, cooking and spending time with friends but also enjoy my time alone! I'm looking for someone who’s super chill & can get along with
Hi I'm Alex, 23 year old Female, I'm a full time Paramedic so I work shift work and crazy hours, but I do still enjoy a drink when I get some time off! Looking to rent a modern place with people in their 20s. I enjoy the gym, beach, going to gigs, travelling and lots of coffee :) Bonus points if you watch MAFS
I work full-time as a lawyer. In my spare time I go to the gym, read books and listen to music. I am often out doing things with family and friends. I am looking for someone relaxed, respectful and reasonable to deal with. Ideally the house will be not far from Broadmeadows and situated near a railway station.
Hey, My name is Adrienne & I'm a 27 year old professional looking for a new home for me & my Pug Marley! I currently work Full-Time as a Dental Practice Manager in the CBD which keeps me very busy during the week & results in low key weeknights with a glass of wine in hand for me! On the weekend I will often be watching movies, cooking, seeing family/friends, eating out or road tripping. I am a very respectful & tidy person who enjoys having a nice clean environment to come home to each night after work, so I would ideally like my housemate to posses those traits too. I would definitely like to live with someone who I can form a friendship with, but with the understanding that I do like my own space & wind down time too! I would be looking to live with someone who also works Full-Time & am not looking to live with a couple, or with someone who has a partner/other people staying over every night of the week. Having my own bedroom & bathroom are essentials for me, as is having either a large balcony, courtyard or small yard for Marley to run around in! If there is anything else you would like to know that I haven't answered please let me know, but I hope to hear from you soon!
Hy! I'm a brazilian guy looking for a nice house to live. I've been in Melbourne for almost 1 year now and since i started as a chippy (full-time) i need to move away from the city, it's too far from my actual job and the traffic is terrible =(. I'm a really friendly person and I've been living in share houses for almost one third of my life, so I know how to live in armony and also enjoy it. I'm graduated in industrial engineering, eletricist and turner. So normally when something broke i fix it! =D
I'm in my last year of uni in Melbourne CBD. I have a cat named Sammy who is very well behaved. I am friendly but usually a home body who is either studying or watching a movie. I love to cook and adventure outdoors. Ideally I'd like a home to be able to relax in and study in as I'll be focused on completing uni. I do travel a fair bit so a place with off street parking and included bills would be great.
Looking for a flat to rent with my girlfriend. We're both clean people and love taking care of ourselves. I study and work and she works. Both born in Melbourne
I am tidy, I work from home for an American company, I’m a gamer, so I enjoy playing video games in my down time. I am looking for a place that is central, close to transportation, preferably with a room mate so we can share the rent, bills, etc.
Maltese backpacker currently staying in Melbourne for the next few months. Just started working in construction and will probably be doing differently labour jobs. I am a very friendly person and love meeting new people that are out going and that respect the people around them. Just crazy enough not to be boring :)
Hey! I recently moved back to Melbourne after living in my home country, France, for most of last year. I'll be starting a bachelor of arts at Melbourne Uni in just a few weeks (so hyped!!) and I've also been working casually at an organic whole foods store in Brunny for almost 3 years. Some lil things I like to do is to sit in parks and draw trees, listen to a bunch of music and cook some hectic vego food. I'm not too fussy but I'm looking for a semi permanent, cozy, clean and at least slightly organised little home where I can feel comfortable in and have good chats and food with everyone there. Also would be great to have a chill environment (not a party house) so I can focus on my uni work. Overall, I'm a pretty laid back person except when I get stressed about uni.. but I'll be freaking out silently so you won't have to worry about that (haha), I clean up after myself and I'm pretty friendly (I think?). So yeah, that's basically me in a short paragraph :~)
25 year old male originally from country Victoria. Resided in Melb for the past 6 years. I am accustomed to sharehousing and like to think im a chilled and fun housemate. Working full time whilst completing studies, so this takes up majority of my time. Into playing tennis/golf/basketball, going out for good food/drinks, or just spending the night in front of netflix. Looking for a warm and relaxed place to call home. I value keeping things clean and tidy but am not obsessive about.
Hi Everyone My name is Aidan and I work as a tutor/teacher around Melbourne for a couple of different organisations including La Trobe University which keeps me fairly busy and out of the house most of the week. I have been living in Melbourne in share houses for the last 6 years and have recently returned from overseas. I have previous references and as a housemate I am fairly easy going, tidy (always clean up after myself) and sociable. I'm 25 y/o, male, non-smoker, very clean and organised, and always pay my bills on time. Hope to hear from you soon.
I'm currently working full time at a cafe and am looking for an abode to stay at for a while (at least 6 months). I am hoping to find a relaxed household where I can have some downtime as well as have the occasional drink/meal/game of cards. I'm wanting to move in mid March but am flexible for the right place!
Hi am here for IT business reasons and not a smoker I keep my space and common place tidy and respect others privacy and would love the same from others. I am mostly working on my Laptop with my IT work and will be out on meeting friends or clients at least 2-4 times a week. Not a party maker, I don’t smoke or drink. I will cook Fresh and tasty Indian food, would love to share it the house mates. Always open to chat about your day and happenings but not a chat not. Let me know if you are ok with myself and ok with short term stay I can come and inspect the property.
Hey, Just an easy going guy looking for a friendly place to live. I’ve travelled and lived overseas so have 6+ years experience living in share houses with people I’ve just met. Not looking for a party house, I work full time as a graphic designer but still always keen for a friendly chat after work or quick trip to the pub for a drink and watch some footy. Don’t smoke, no pets, clean up after myself, generally keep the noise level down to a minimum and respect other people’s space and the house itself. Try to keep a pretty social and active. Enjoy a night in cooking with a bit of banter, a drink and games as much as an adventure outdoors camping, hiking or just exploring Melbourne. I’m pretty relaxed about who I live with. As long as you don’t mind a few puns and dad jokes every now and then, we will get along just fine. If you have any questions, drop me a message. Thanks, Simon
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)
I enjoy reading, poetry, writing, history, politics, cooking and games. I’m from Gladstone Park but have been living out of home since 18 and have rental experience, of which I’m happy to provide for I know the reputation renters my age do have. I’m happy to say I study and work, and would like a place for me and my lady to call home.
Barbara, my girlfriend has accepted a job in Melbourne and we are moving out from Brisbane around the 16th of February. I will start studying in the university of Melbourne in June, 2019. About us, my girlfriend is 26 years old and I am 27. She's Brazilian and I'm Australian. We are very excited to move to Melbourne and it would be very nice to meet new friends down there! We are very chilled out, tidy, responsible and friendly couple. We love having a bit of wine, BBQ and cooking. We love sports activities as well.
I am new to Melbourne and looking for a bedroom with en-suite, hopefully near a train station. I am easy-going, tidy, also respectful of personal space. I am Indian, have recently moved from Florida where I lived and worked for a couple of years and love traveling and exploring the world!
I’m a full time barista, and am looking for a self contained bungalow/granny for me and my partner. We have a small, well trained dog who is very friendly and are ready to move in now.
Hi I’m Jono I’m 33 and work fulltime in construction. I come with a happy bulldog named Bam Bam. He’s a well behaved dude and gets along with everyone including cats. We are looking to move someone for a longterm stay, provided we’re all getting along. Into a somewhere that is a home and not just a place to live. So please feel free to hit me up for more of a chat about your home 😊
Hi potential house mates, I have been working full time as an arborist for the last few years and have a background in visual and performing arts. I have a chilled persona, easy to get along with and clean up after myself. I cook. I have a decent sized fridge and a small washing machine currently in storage. I have a pet dog named Tealk (he’s awesome you’ll love him). I keep him clean and walk him daily. I’m looking to either move into a share house or sign onto a new lease with people that are considerate and keep communal spaces (kitchen, bathroom and so on) reasonably clean. I like to have a good balance between socialising and being in my own space. I’m respectful of people and their space. My dog is kept clean, is well trained and much loved. I’m looking for a house that has; A decent sized garage/ shed for wood turning and making projects. A fully fenced back yard. Good peeps. If you have a place that sounds compatible or want to consider a team up. Get in touch. : p Ps I’m fairly flexable with location. Cheers
I’m a quiet, hard working Disability Support Worker. I currently juggle 3 jobs. I’m clean and tidy, love to cook and share a meal with a glass of wine. Enjoy relaxing with good conversation and good music. I can be out a lot due to the nature of my work. I own a car although I PT to and from work. Looking for furnished accommodation for 6-12 months.
Hey my name is Sharni I am 28 years old, I identify as Queer and I have a beautiful Dalmatian named Lunar. I'm a creative working in the Digital Marketing field. I love nature and the outdoors, I’m vegan and love to travel. I have plenty of experience living in a share house. I’m respectable of people’s space and do enjoy the occasional house mates hang out. Lunar is fully house trained and super friendly with humans and other dogs.
My name is Isabel, I'm currently an Australian student living in Japan and I plan to continue studying in Melbourne from March. I'm originally from Hobart, and I'm moving to study a Masters of International Relations at UniMelb, with a heavy swing of interest towards international studies and climate policy. I've lived in a share house for almost two years, so I've gotten pretty used to the process and I've really grown to love mutual respect. I think it's important to keep the conversation open if there's any issue, so I prefer when people are straightforward with me and you don't have to be afraid of telling me if something's bothering you (just be polite about it). I'm relatively study-focused but I love a good chat with a sneaky bevvie from time to time, so I'd love a place that has laidback and friendly people that still know how to respect each other's space. I like music, movies, cooking and reading, and though I tend to closet myself in my room while I'm working on something important I like company when there's nothing on for me. This includes when I potato-out binging a new show and don't move for a solid 4 hours. I'd especially appreciate some people willing to take me out places every so often since I've never lived in Melbourne before, but I get it if you're not into being a tour guide and just want someone you can get along with to fill the space in your home. I plan on working part-time as soon as I hit Melbourne, ideally something administrative but I'll take what I can get so you can rest assured I have an income. Lastly, ideally I'd like a place close to the city. I'm on a budget but I'm willing to make some sacrifices if it means I don't need to go on public transport for 2+ hours. The opportunity to inherit/buy and furniture would be a great bonus, and I'd also appreciate a car space but it's not essential for me. I'm happy to move in anywhere in late February up til the first week of March - I'm pretty flexible with this, so just ask if you have a question :) Let me know if I sound like the kind of person you'd be happy to have around, and thanks for your time! Isabel (Message only please - I'm still overseas and we can save ourselves the international call fees! Let me know if you'd like to use WhatsApp or anything though.)
