I've been living in my own 3 bedroom home for the last 4 & a half years with my 3 yr old Border Collie X Golden Retriever and 8 yr old Murray River Turtle in the outer Northern Suburbs. I work 2 jobs 6 days a week. Sunday's are my day to do whatever I like; anything from chillin at home with my dog, house work, catching up with friends, a day out with my 2 nieces, family outings, going to the footy during footy season and Cricket over the Summer. Ive made the decision to lease my house out so I can move closer into the city. My parents have offered to look after my dog and turtle for 12mths which will make it easier to find somewhere to live. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Hi everyone my name is Michael and I am 29 years of age, I work full time as a Warehouse Storeman in Tullamarine and also do uber driving as a side job, could be handy for you if you like to hit the town on a Friday or Saturday night :) My hobbies are going to the gym, poker, pool, playing footy (mad AFL fan) and traveling when i get the time. I am a friendly person who is easy to get along with and often can be funny. I don't mind if you have a pet as long as they are outside more then inside. The reason why I would be a good housemate is because I am clean and tidy, respectful to other people, always up for a good laugh and love to go out and have a drink every now and then at the casino. I think I would be beneficial to you being an uber driver, also I sell cookware at my work so I have a great set of frying pans with me for cooking :) you won't be disappointed! so please hit me up for an inspection if you think i fit the criteria :)
I am Eduardo, 26yo, part time employed, barista Jr, I.T. student, cooker love, passionate for Melbourne's parks and Laneways. I'm easy going guy, who loves cooking for mates, always up for beer, wine, cachaça (have you tried it?) and to share good times talking and laughing. I'm sociable, friendly and happy to spend time with my mates but I know how to respect their space and I have an independent life as well. During my free time, I am always walking around Melbourne knowing this lovely city. I like traveling (I'm planning to travel for South Asia, up to that? it would be amazing to find a traveling partner). I'm not a party animal but I'm not out to occasionally small party or hang out to a night club. Although I do not make my bed, I keep the house tidy and clean, principally kitchen and bathroom, I am responsible with house tasks, also I use to take shower every day (same in freezing days), brush teeth, wash my cloths, keep the toilet seat down... I am looking for a place which I can call home for long time. I would like to move in the last week of September, but I can be flexible about that. If I sound good to you and your flats please, text me and we will set up time to meet each other.
I'm a very good housemate because I know the right levels of social time and personal time! I like too have a chat but also like my own time and respect and give the same too housemates. I work for Coles at airport west but I study in class every Monday in my certificate 3 in personal assistance and will be starting my work placement in the Essendon age care in October so will be super super busy. I'm new too Melbourne so really don't have too many friends lol which sounds a little sad but handy not too really be having visitors! I'm very respectful and private and I live by the saying treat others how u wish too be treated! I'm clean and organised and would make a good housemate for anyone who wants someone social but gives space
I am a sport loving, fun, approachable person. I am clean and do enjoy cooking, preparing and entertaining. If you want a no fuss, easy to get along with housemate, I'm your guy! :)
My names James... Or Jimmy! I'm 31 yrs old, work full time in the transport industry- Most days i spend 10-12hrs driving a truck... Most mornings I'm leaving home in the dark, then return whilst the sun goes down 🌥 My family/friends would describe me as pretty easy going, down to earth guy with a great sense of humour. In my spare time i like to get out & catch up with friends, otherwise I'll happily lay low at home. Enjoy having the occasional drink, although I'm hardly ever drunk 🍺 I have a 4yr old Maltese Shih-Tzu that shadows me wherever I go, so currently on the search for someone who's easy to live with, also pet friendly 😎 She loves playing with other dogs (or neighbouring cats), also well trained inside & out. I'd prefer to houseshare with a female, as they've always seemed more clean & tidy, which helps me maintain a good lifestyle.
I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
I'm super friendly, but happy to have time alone. Will be working a fair bit of the time. Like and strive to be neat and organized, basically a masterchef, love hanging out, open to outdoors activities and having a casual drink, great with dogs. Being on the lease is ideal, looking to pay max $200 for a room bills included and preferably furnished. 6 months minimum stay, longer lease preferred.
Currently studying at rmit in the city. I study justice and soon look to be working as a correctional officer. I Work 32 hours a week at Brunswick Woolworthes, in the produce department. So I bring with me a nice 5% off when shopping at woolies ☹️. I'm a very neat and tidy person, so I will be keeping all common areas I use vey tidy.I enjoy cooking so more then happy to get involved in cooking a few nights a week. I also play soccer and enjoy going down to the pitch for a kick or a run. I am a huge dog person and get along with pets very well. I'm a non smoker. Finally I bring with me a Xbox :0
I am fairly quiet and don't like encroaching on other people's space. Although I'm currently unemployed, I will be looking for a job once I relocate (there aren't any job opportunities where I currently live). I'm a bit of a nerd and have a passion for science, the environment, and art. Some of my hobbies are photography, painting, and guerilla floristry. I also really enjoy baking cakes, biscuits, and slices (and can make a mean single serve chocolate souffle). I have been living in a tiny country town with few services or resources for the past few years, so am really looking forward to moving out as soon as I can. I don't drive, so would prefer to live somewhere close to public transport. My ideal home would have a bedroom big enough to fit my vintage queen sized Burgess headboard + bedside tables in, and to have a bathroom with an actual bath in it (hip baths don't count!). I haven't been able to own any pets besides my cockatiel where I've been living, and would dearly love to get another cat to keep me company.
I think the greatest thing about me is, I am always out of the house. Sure, I love to have a couple of bevs and I am known to be very easy to get along with, but I am always working and always out of the house. I am very, very outgoing and social, but always need my own space and time to myself sometimes. Always a positive person and always keeping myself busy (fun fact: I cannot stay indoors and/or at home for 24 hours). I am an actor, musician and a big music enthusiast - you'll hear me singing sometimes. I love to go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner with my friends and absolutely love to travel. If you love a short, funny and maybe even deep and meaningful banter, I'm your go to! I am very bubbly, confident and honest. I love getting to meet new people and always love having a long banter over a bev or just a casual hang out. I am always clean and always pay rent and bills on time. I have been renting for 3 years now.
I'm a tidy, chill kiwi. I've just moved from NZ to Melbourne and looking for somewhere to live ASAP. Currently working two jobs full-time and casually. I like my space but am also keen to meet new people, make new friends and have a drink or two or ten lol.
I am 17 years old currently studying as a hair dresser so I will have no problem doing your hair 💁🏽 I like to be neat and keep everything clean. I'm very simple and straight forward. I love to have fun and joke around.
Hi everyone, I am interested in a team up house or an already established place preferably in Essendon or Niddrie, otherwise would be willing to look more towards Coburg/Brunswick areas for around $700-$800 per calendar month, hopefully not too far away from public transport (59 or 58 trams preferably). I would like a place where everyone is equally welcome as well as responsible meaning everyone is on the lease not just one person. I am looking to move around the end of November or start of December as my lease is up on the 9th of December. I am looking for a place with a decent sized bedroom (hopefully a master with ensuite if possible but not a deal breaker!) As well as a car spot or free street parking. A house with a bit of space would be great so we would not be tripping over each other all the time. I have a fridge and a washing machine as well as pots and pans for the kitchen to add to a house as well as all my own bedroom needs. I work full time Monday - Friday anywhere between 6:30am-6:30pm with one RDO a month. I would like a house that is happy to socialise with the occasional meal (I'm not the best cook but I try) but also happy to respect each other's privacy. There are weeks that I am barely home except to sleep as I like to catch up with friends and family when I can but I also have weekends where I prefer to just stay home with my blanket and STAN. I would like to be able to invite family and friends over for a few drinks or a movie every now and then and am happy for you to do the same. Apart from catching up with family I like to go to the movies ( if you can have a conversation about Harry Potter or Dr Who that's a plus!) , gigs, road trips back to my hometown Ballarat and games nights. I also like to go out with friends for dinner and drinks etc. Please message if you would like to know more or meet up to have a chat about a property etc. Non smokers welcome Thanks
I am looking for a house in the Moonee Ponds area, preferably only living with one other person. I have a 5 year old greyhound who is house trained and will probably spend all her time sleeping in the bedroom. I am easy to get along with, have a good sense of humour, pay rent on time and have lived in share houses since I was 18, so I know how it all works. Am able to move in any time; let me know if you have anything you think is suitable. Thanks.
I'm Kittiya 31 Thai female, work full time as a qualified remedial massage therapist ( No private or work from home!) I'm friendly, funny and tidy person :) Love to chat, movies, cup of tea, also Scotch or beer ;) I'm looking for a private room in the share nice and clean house + nice housemates who know how to respect each other space and not a party animal in the house :) but don't mind for a weekend social life. Feel free to contact me if you have your interesting room to offer Cheers!
I'm, fairly laid back, like watching movies/tv shows, sometimes play ps4. Love music and go to live events regularly, would love if I could bring my chocolate labradoodle, but not a deal breaker (he doesn't shed fur or smell). I work full-time and ride a motorbike so parking's not really an issue. Oh I also have a tonne of really good board games :)
Hey I'm James, I am a 25 year old male who is looking for a place for myself and my dog Zelda (She is a medium sized dog so we will need a backyard of some sort for her to run around in) As for myself I am currently working in hospitality and plan on studying next year. I like to keep to myself but also don't mind the odd Netflix and pizza sesh with my housemates. I usually spend my spare time at the gym, walking Zelda or just out and about with friends. I have lived share houses before so I understand how they work, I am very respectful of other peoples privacy. If you think you have a place for us we'd love to hear from you :)
