I am moving to Darwin to commence a lady lawyer working life--social justice law, not the money type. I am looking for some excellent house mates to build a home with. I love a cozy home environment, ponder: veggie garden, dinner parties, a red vino and a good ol' post-day debrief, a fire pit in the back yard, chuck some fairy lights on it all, a cheeky trip to the pub/life time goal of becoming a regular at the local. I love travelling, food, camping, hiking, beach extravaganza weekends, music and art, and riding ma bike. I like a mix of hermit life and socialising. I'll be working full time (and travelling a fair bit with work) and may sometimes be up for a midweek funtime, but will for the majority be knuckling down profesh style in my job. I'm respectful of peoples differences and needs and believe in open communication. Get amongst it.
G'day! I'm Stefan and I'm moving to Darwin the pursue my dream job. I am a Veterinarian by day and this typically takes up a heck of a lot of time, so when I get time off I like to use it! On days/nights off you might find me studying, at the gym or jumping around in a park somewhere. Typically I keep to myself but given the chance, I do enjoy a casual drink or two and am always down for a chat. I'm tidy, always clean up after myself and can definitely pull my weight when it comes to general cleaning/maintenance. I may be fairly useless as a cook but I'm great at washing up and bringing back takeaway!
Hey guys, I'm on a working visa and looking for an existing house share or like-minded people to buddy up with. I plan to find regional work and save up for further travel around Australia. I'm down to earth, tidy, easy to live and looking forward to experience life in Darwin.
Looking for room to rent, due to the lease being up in current property. sharing with other like minded professionals in their late 20's/early 30's! Need a pet-friendly place for my little kitten. I am looking to move in around the 20th May. I am very clean (bordering on OCD!), laid-back, easy-going, like to have a few social drinks at the weekends.
Hi, I am an expat from India, granted State sponsorship visa(489) for Australia. I, along with my family, landed in Darwin on 27th April,2017. I am a Mechanical Engineer currently seeking a job in Darwin. I am socially adhesive, tech savvy and gadget friendly individual, love travelling along with hunger for internet and music. I am looking to rent a shared room for budget price for 3-4 months(extendable). I alone will be renting coz my family is leaving on 02nd May,2017. If you are OK with that, please contact me. We can arrange a meeting, perform the transactions and finalise the same. Regards, Sudeep
I'm moving to Darwin from Melbs to start a new job with the NT government. I'm fun and friendly and enjoy being social but also enjoy chilling out. I'm pretty active and spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors. While I'm not a neat freak, im clean and today and like to live in a nice place. I also love nothing more than a good wine with great company.
Fun, friendly and TIDY Backpacker from England (can cook too!). Laid back, easy going person who is looking for a lovely room to chill and save for future travels. Likes to socialise with friends when off of work, Looking to leave my hostel and settle in Darwin for 6 months whilst I'm working full time to try and save some pennies for the next adventure!
I'm an attached 28yo female who is very very house trained haha. I clean, I love to cook for others, I can pretty much work any type of technology and I can hook you up with the latest movie/tv/music streaming gold mines... I am moving to NT from Sydney NSW for a government job. It will be shift work. Sometimes I will be sleeping during the day. I do have a partner, he works with the NSW government and is starting to accrue long service leave so moving with me is a dumb move atm. He will be visiting every so often for 5 - 7 days at a time. I also will be traveling back to NSW. So I would be partially FIFO. I am respectful of space, personal items and I am not noisy. I live in a studio apartment with someone who does shift work and he calls me a ninja. So I won't be disturbing you! Haha I am a social person, but I don't drink a lot. Maybe once every month or so. I love watching TV shows, reading and playing RPG games. The job I'm moving to is a physical job. So I am very fit and active. I am laid back and mostly care free, I do have certain topics that I'm passionate about and I love a good D&M or deep conversations about the universe. I'm not a clean freak, sometimes my clothes will be on my bed, and don't even look in my handbag. But my 'mess' never leaves my room. I'm anal about a clean kitchen and bathroom. I also have allergies to dust, so cleanliness is important to me, but I'm not ruled by it. I've lived with clean freaks before, my mother is one. I'm sorry but I can't deal with a level 10 neat freak. I will drive you nuts and visa versa! I love spontaneous little adventures, especially to new places. I also love animals, I have a little allergy to cat hair. But as long as my bedroom door is shut and the place is vacuumed regularly. I'm sweet.
I'm a 22 year-old female from Melbourne. I am currently in my second last year of a law degree. This June/July I am undertaking a legal internship in Darwin and currently seeking somewhere to stay for 4-6 weeks. I can ensure that I will be a clean, courteous, fun and polite house mate for this short period I will be renting a room. I will be at the internship 9am-5pm weekdays and will be exploring all the glories Darwin/NT has to offer on the weekends.
Hi people! I am a Kiwi recently returned to Darwin (6 year previous resident) from living in Bali and now have commenced full time employment on 23rd April. I am a professional 50 years of age (going on 35!!!) Travelling and experiencing different cultures is my thing so I'm a constant and experienced traveler...it never leaves your system!!! I even have my own online adventure travel company operating out of Bali - in start upstage at this point in time so hence back in Darwin for some cash flow I'm an extremely tidy non smoker and although I enjoy a beer I generally like a quiet life and respectful of others privacy and cleanliness of shared common areas. I previously leased a 4 bedroom Townhouse in Coconut Grove and rented out 2 of the bedrooms with singles or couples (in 20's & 30's at different times - including smokers) so I am a very easy going house share person. Kind regards to all who read this and take this application under consideration... Al
Hi, I'm Tiffany, 23 years old female, I'm from Taiwan and ready to arrive at Darwin Airport on June 22, I will stay at least one month to find a job offer. I am honest and super clean, don't smoke don't drink, will be a doing dishes. This is my first time to working holiday, expect to know more people.
We are an Australian couple from Perth, who are on a working road trip around Australia. We are honest, reliable, clean and tidy, easy going, and happy people. We are currently seeking jobs in Darwin and hope to stay for 4 or 5 months to top up our savings, hopefully we should have secured something before we arrive. We do not have a solid arrival date either yet, so can be flexible with moving dates, and staying in one place for our time in Darwin would be ideal. Bond and rental payments in advance will not be a problem. We have a standard van, that we do sleep in, but we would prefer a furnished room, we could use our mattress from the van if the room was unfurnished. We have just our backpacks, so don't need anything huge. We will be aiming to both be working two jobs, approx. 50-60 hours a week each, so would prefer not to live in a party house, but be able to have a meal and a drink with our roomies at times :) I am unfortunately dead allergic to cats, but otherwise we are not too fussy about who or what we live with, as long as people are respectful and fair. Cheers, Dani and James :)
Seeking a room of my own in your pet-friendly household. While I don't bring any animal companions myself at present, I would happily walk your dog and/or mind your pets when you're busy or out of town. 😊 I enjoy cooking (mostly veggo), occasional shared meals (if you like), and gardening. I am clean (but not to the point of phobic, haha), and will do my part to keep communal areas tidy and clean, too. I am a health professional working several days a week in the CBD; I also attend the Buddhist temple in Leanyer regularly, so a location between the two would be purrfect. I do work from home occasionally, too, so ideally I'm looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, with wifi... AC, whatever the exact opposite of louvre windows is, and good water pressure will also be rated highly. 😝 Oh, and I don't have a car, but I will need a spot for a bicycle &/or scooter.
Hello! Laid back, neat freak with a netflix account you can use! I've been living in sharehouses for a while and like the lifestyle and the family that can be created. I've just moved here from interstate but do want to stay! I work nights so if you work days, you wouldn't see much of me. Oh.. I'll probably make you a sweet spotify playlist as well once I get to know your music taste.
I'm Matthew. I'm 22 and will be moving to Darwin in May for a new job opportunity. I'm looking for somewhere long term around Darwin CBD or suburbs in close proximity. Ideally I'd like a furnished room and looking to live with relaxed people who are easy to get along with. I keep to myself a lot of the time however enjoy having a drink and a chat every now and then. I will be working Monday - Friday and occasionally travelling between Darwin and Adelaide for work. I'll be in Darwin from the 15th of May. I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi, I am pretty easy going, love to get out of the house to socialise or to explore the area. I am a tidy person and have lived in multiple share houses so know the drill. I am moving over for work middle of June so would love to have a room to move straight into :)
