1. I am from China and just graduated from the University of Melbourne, I just came to Sydney 3 months ago. I am now looking for a place to live in more than 3 months. I prefer a fully furnished place with the appliance and facilities in the apartment. The budget is flexible around $400/wk 2. I sometimes like singing at home 3. I usually cook and because I am keeping fit and building muscle so the cuisine is simple and light which is not well-shared. 4. I would like to communicate frequently with the topic about how to improve our relationship as a flatmate. I don't want each of us feels unhappy or uncomfortable with each other's behaviors. I prefer to talk directly about each's concerns. For example, some little stuff such as dishwashing, noise and taking out the trash. We shall make a deal before that and try to compliance that. Once bad things happen, we can communicate immediately.
I’m a friendly, fun and considerate community services worker and spend most of my free time either doing campaigning and organising for the Greens or hanging out and talking absolute shit. I love to cook, I clean up after myself, and am pretty adaptable to my environment and easy to get along with. I’ve got a stupidly large and diverse collection of books (pretty even split between decent literary fiction/random non-fiction/cultural theory/politics) that I’m happy to share as long as I get em back, and if you’re keen and have hands I reckon I could teach you how to knit. My income’s stable and I’ve run the numbers on what I can afford. I currently live in outer Western Sydney but work in the Eastern Suburbs, and the vast majority of my mates are in the Inner West. I’m very keen to move closer in so that my commute stops driving me mental. Looking for somewhere relatively long term with like-minded good people. If you’ve got a cat or dog whose affection I can borrow I guarantee I’ll be one of their favourite aunties.
Hi Future Flatmates! I'm Kim. Super easy going, house trained ( having lived in shared houses since I was 23), pay my bills on time and a positive person. I lead a reasonably healthy lifestyle, do a bit of yoga at home, go on the odd jog and try not to eat my weight in kettle chips. I do not smoke or party. A bit past that. I am looking for a nice cubby safe little spot to call home while I sort out some stuff, preferably close to public transport. If I look like someone who you'd like to share your home with, do drop us a line! Ps. I am horribly allergic to puppies, whilst I really like them I can't be around them unless I have my epi-pen handy. :(
We are a couple currently studying and working part time and are looking for a place near WSU. Ty is a health food retail assistant and Cleo is a music teacher. We love the occasional adventure, bouldering, camping, hiking, etc. We have experience pet- and house-sitting and can provide references if necessary. Ty likes cooking and trying new recipes and is happy to give flatmates a taste. He is tidy and friendly and not too afraid to clean the bathroom or do bin runs! He is also studying nursing and is happy to patch you up free of charge should the need arise. Cleo likes to study at home with a cup of tea, so is usually around to socialise or help with chores. She is patient and very good with kids (and tired grownups).
Hi, I’m a 28 year old electrician from Brisbane, moving to Sydney to work on the tunnel in Lidcombe. Never been to Sydney before but have travelled extensively through Europe, America and Asia and lived in Perth, Darwin and Mackay. Zero party tricks but love a laugh, random convos and having a couple of drinks. Cheers
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a stay of 6 months or more. I'm 33 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a couple who are moving overseas in a few weeks time. The most important thing for me is having a home where I feel safe and able to be myself. I'm a trans woman, and an LGBT inclusive household is a must. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties or loud friends over every night etc. I'm a pretty friendly and gentle person, but sometimes a bit shy with new people to begin with. I'm happy to chat away with housemates, or just do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and shared areas in the same condition. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, and weekends I'm often out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable, I'm also prepared to quickly sign up and transfer a bond and advance rent as required. My preferred budget is around $250 pw, but still contact me if your price is similar.
I'm a web developer working full time for a company in North Sydney. I am Australian citizen with Russian background, living in Sydney for almost 7 years now. I like travelling overseas, I go to Russia at least once a year and also love Thailand. Currently living in North Strathfield in a very nice, clean and quiet townhouse near the train station. Looking for a new accomodation as my landlord's cousin has come from overseas and taking over my room. I do play tennis, enjoy gym, I like travelling. I would prefer a nice, clean place where everyone respect each other. I do not cook much and stay at home mostly at night time.
Hey all! I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I've been working and living in Sydney for a year now. I've lived in shared accommodation throughout the duration of my stay. So super clean, tidy and respectful. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a drink or two! I’m a sociable person and would like to potentially make new pals with my housemates. Looking for somewhere long term around 6 months of so. Looking for a private room too :) Feel free to ask me anything Zahrah xoxo
I am an emergency physician from the Philippines who already passed the written test part of the Australian Medical Council exams and will be reviewing for the second part of the exam which I target to sit on October this year. I will be enrolling in a review course in Churchill Ave Strathfield so I need to be near that area. My partner is an Australian nurse, whom I've been together for more than 8 years. We don't have any kids or pets. We both love to travel and have been in various countries over the past few years. We usually just keep to ourselves, but we're outgoing, neat, and always kept our place tidy when we were living together in the Philippines.
Easy to get along with and chill flatmate. Work full time. Looking to team up and get a place or move into an already existing share house. I’m pretty social but also like spending time on my own.
I'm Deepak, in a nutshell: - Engineer. - Work Part-time. - Cheerful & lively, but introverted. - Clean & tidy. - Funny, sarcastic (the good kind) & caring. - Non smoker/not into substances. Interests: music, photography, cooking, movies & exploring new places. I am an International student moving to Sydney to attend Western Sydney University. I take my time to open up with people. But once i'm out there, i'm all fun :)
Hello, I am an Indian girl looking out for a shared room/ private room for approx 1 month (could be extended). I prefer to get the room close to CBD. I am holding the PR and arriving Sydney for the first time on 22nd June night. I am a software engineer and would be looking for jobs during my stay. I am an extremely tidy and quiet person. I am flexible and can adjust to my flatmate's needs. Ready to mingle and socialize. It shouldn't be a problem sharing a flat with me.
I will be attending the University of Sydney as a full-time postgraduate student starting Sem 2 2018, so we need a place to call home! We're in our 30s, we've been together since 2009, and we love to play board games, watch movies and TV, read novels and comics, contemplate art in museums, and discuss the same. :) We've traveled around Asia and the US, and we love good food. We're always ready for a chat, but we also respect other people's privacy.
Hello there! I’m Camila and I will be starting a fashion and sewing course in late July. I’m a little bit creative and one day hope to create made to measure formal wear and costumes! My classes are around 20h a week with approximately 20h self devised study, some study done at TAFE. I will probably find casual work too, so that I hope gives you an idea of how often I’d be at around. I can furnish my own room and have enough for a well stocked kitchen which I am happy to share with respectful use. I like to stay tidy even when I’m sewing which really forces you to be organised! I am a quite person who is a non smoker and rarely drinks. I’m not a party person either but I do enjoy a chat or sharing a meal over movies. I do enjoy hanging out with those I live with as much as I enjoy own space. If I sound like a good fit for your home shoot me a message.
PRIVATE ROOM + FEMALE ONLY Apartment preferable Hey Guys! I am moving to Sydney from Perth for grad work. I would love to see what Sydney has to offer, so definitely wouldn't mind having social roommates but can also appreciate the need to have time for yourself. I'm pretty clean and well-organised so you definitely won't have to worry about having a messy home. I would also like to have people over from time to time, so hoping that would not be a problem.
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional. I work in analytics/consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for most of my adult life (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. I do like to cook, and have friends over from time-to-time -- so if yours is a flat where these things aren't welcomed, I might not be the right person to share your home with :) I am looking to stay for a mid-long term (8-9mo minimum). As I don't have a car, I am looking for a home close to public transport. Ideally, I would also like my own bathroom (not shared). While I'm not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not an 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time. :) I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics and enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV, a book or just music and a chat! Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new! Thank you!
Hi there! We are both vegetarian and very environmentally cautious and try to live as sustainably as possible. We have just returned back to Sydney after living in Melbourne for 6 months and then a further 3 months travelling India and Sri Lanka. I'm 23 and Taylor, my partner, is 29. We both work full time Monday to Friday. We are very friendly, caring, outgoing people. Always out and about, going to gigs, movies, seeing friends, heading down the coast as much as we can for a surf. Really enjoy being outdoors but don't mind a cheeky night in with a wine or two. We think a happy home makes a happy human so we love to keep all areas clean in the house hold including our room but especially the kitchen and bathroom! If we sound like the type of people you are looking for let me know!
24 year old exchange student from Copenhagen, Denmark. I'll be studying to a WSU for the spring semester. As a person I am very outgoing, respectful, clean and do not mind having a conservation. Further, I do understand the need for privacy.
I work full time in Sydney CBD and am studying part-time. I am pretty easy-going and relaxed. I get along pretty well with people I talk to, don't mind a conversation or two after I come back from work whilst still giving the other person their space. I don't drink or smoke. I am a vegetarian and would prefer a non-alcoholic place.
I'm an easy going 26 y/o Product Manager/ Designer. Super respectful, chill, clean, and I work 5-6 days a week. I have a stable income and will always pay rent and bills on time, I've lived in a share house for over a year. Pretty handy with minor repairs/ maintenance if anything around the place breaks. Netflix account. In my spare time I like to binge watch Whose line is it anyway, record and produce music (badly, but with headphones on!), exercise and illustrate. Cheers!
