I often try to keep my life as simple as possible. I am a non-alcoholic, non-smoker and don't have any pets. I am a vegetarian except for fish (but I don't mind living with meat eaters, smokers, wine lovers, or even party animals). I would consider myself being flexible, tolerant and resourceful. However, I find that living in Sydney can be very stressful. So I often turn into a worrier, when I should really be a warrior! (Unfortunately, I tend to worry too much, and that is a problem I am always working on.) Gender, nationality and culture is of no relevance to me whatsoever. What I look for in a share house is nice easy going housemates whom I can live with (hopefully long-term) without dramas. I have a good rental history and I can proof that. At present, my weekly budget for rent is $180-$250/wk. However, I would not want to go above $220/wk. Let's face it, Australia is facing pretty harsh economic conditions at the moment (but that's only my opinion). I am flexible with the move in date and this can be extended if necessary. If you decide to SMS or send me a message via the website, please have patience (since it is not always convenient for me to respond to messages instantly, especially during business hours.) At times I may not logon to the flatmates website daily due to a busy lifestyle. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers.
Hi I'm Hannah! I am - a marketing student at UTS - clean and reliable with rent - easygoing and can cop some banter - appreciative of our own privacy but still want to go for coffee and have dinner together sometimes - working at a gourmet donut shop (free donuts for living with me 😎) I'm looking for - a chilled group of gals who want to share a home and be friends not strangers - private room in existing place or we can find a new one together - a place with easy access to transport, max 30 min to get to central (preferably less but willing to compromise for a beaut place) - bathroom shared with only one other - move in in late January (lease ends around the 20th but happy to move in February) stay for at least a year I know it's impossible to judge someone over a tiny bio, so if you think it could work please get in touch I'd love to get to know you before we move in together. Ps. Sorry in advance for the shit jokes
Hi there! I'm looking for my own room to move into around mid-January. I work full-time in Burwood, and I'm looking for a place close-by. Furnished or unfurnished, but close to public transport. I'm friendly, sorta quiet, neat, tidy, don't have pets and a non-smoker. I love pizza, movies, pop-culture, F1, and science-y things. I like cooking, and I can make a mean pasta, although Menulog/UberEats is slowly taking over my dinners. My own room tends to be organised chaos, but common places will always be tidy. Ideally, my flatmates are friendly and don't mind sharing a meal or a drink now and then, but respect each others' space as well. My current housemates are all great people (and a cat), who are sadly moving out, and with the lease ending, I figured I want a bigger and better place than I currently have(my current room is tiny!). They are happy to give you my reference if needed. :) Don't hesitate to contact me, if you have a great household I can be a part of, or if you have any more questions. I do have some weeks before I need to move, but maybe we can work something out if something good is available to me a bit earlier. :) Cheers!
Hi! My name is Connie, I’m a 26-years old girl from Chile. Back in my real life I’m a psychologist, but here I work full-time as a warehouse manager for an awesome start-up. Netflix has become one of my best friends, but here I’m trying to put that on pause and go outside to discover all the amazing places Sydney has to offer. I don’t drink, don’t smoke — but I definitely enjoy having a nice conversation that includes some good laughs (and I’m also a pretty good dancer). Since I’m working full-time, I plan to stay here for a while, so I’d like to find a place I that feels like home. And if it’s on a walking distance from my job, that’s even better.
I'm Sarah, 35, moving to Sydney from New Zealand as I'm ready for a change and a new lifestyle. I'm house proud, clean, relaxed and enjoy a chat with like-minded flatmates as much as respect alone time. I'm looking for work full-time in the IT industry, however currently signed up for full-time work on a temporary contract with a recruitment agency while I get settled and find my rhythm. I'm pretty active and social, enjoy exercise and creative things, so not home all that much usually, quiet and respectful and looking for a home to chill out in.
I am a friendly and sociable person whose working full time as a childcare educator in the city so would love to find a place where I won't be travelling far. My preference would be private room and shared house with 1 other flat mate. I’ve listed 2 months for preferred stay but depending on the situation I might extend it :) I love brunch, movies and am a sucker for anything green tea! Hope to find my future flatmate soon :)
Hi, I am 27 years old Polish moving to Sydney at the end of January. I've just got visa to work and live in Australia, and I'd like to spend some time living and working in a new place - getting to know the culture, people and places. I keep my space tidy, I don't smoke, and I respect other flatmates. I am a relatively quiet person and I like spending my free time on watching TV series after hard day at work. I don't mind spending some of my time on chatting with flatmates. Ideally, I would work during week and do some sightseeing during weekends or holidays.
Heya! I'm keen to join up with some social humans and find a place together. Looking for something more long-term and people who wanna talk with each other as opposed to just live together. At the same time, of course, I respect people's space and time alone. Message me if this sounds like your sort of thing! I want to move in somewhere early February 2018 (: H
Neat and tidy, don't smoke, don't do drugs and drink very infrequently. Moving to Sydney from Melbourne for a full time graduate job at a technology company. I'd like to think that I'm quite inoffensive, I'm somewhere between an introvert and extrovert depending on the day and I like to stay fit and care a lot about health. I'm super excited to get to know Sydney city, but also to get away on day hikes and explore the beaches. I also love live music and am looking forward to catching a few concerts in Sydney. I'm cooperative and will chip in everywhere that I can to help with cleaning and other chores. Most of my free time at home is spent catching up with news, the NBA results and friends on my phone.
Hey! Our names are Jack and Mars, pretty chill couple looking for a place to stay! We both work part-time (Jack:Video Editor, Mars:Artist/Film student), and we're interested in playing games, making art, playing music and going out! We also love animals/nature so we're super pet friendly! Preferably looking for a single room with a double bed for us to share, if you have anything like that, send us a message!
I am a 26 year old female. I grew up in Sydney and currently live in North Sydney. I am looking to live close to work and the city in general. I work full time Mon-Fri in the city in concierge and commerical real estate services. I am a clean, easy going and respectful housemate. During the week I am mostly busy working and trying to keep active! In my free time I enjoy seeing family, coffee with friends, coastal walks and traveling.
LOOKING FOR A LARGE ROOM BETWEEN $200-260 Ahoy there. I'm Sam, 28, writer and theatre maker, main employment as a Visitor Services Officer at the Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo, plus some freelance work as a Theatre Tech and as an Escape Room Game Master. I love theatre and art, cooking and baking and talking all things food and nutrition, rearranging furniture and nesting, being crafty and making things, and chatting about existential dilemmas. Currently living in Lidcombe and looking at move out by the end of this lease at on January 24th. I am looking for a large bedroom in a roomy hopefully 2-bedroom place (sharing with only one other person) for all my things and baking supplies, with someone who is friendly but independent, mature and tidy. Also ideally someone who is an artist or in the theatre industry. Show buddies? Yes please! My schedule is pretty busy so I'm usually out and about or locked away working on a script, but I am definitely looking for a home not just a place to sleep. Also I don't drive so I need a place with excellent public transport options. Cheers, Sam
Hey - we are a couple involved in the creative arts - Soph runs a film festival as well as being a writer/director/producer/actor she is also a strong advocate for women in film. I am a freelance photographer/videographer that is relatively new to Sydney. We are looking for a comfortable friendly place with other like-minded individuals. As of early next year Soph will have an office space where she will work from but I generally work from home. I do travel quite a bit for work as does Soph so we do have the added bonus of not actually being at home for stretches of time. Essentially we would love a bigger room and some form of backyard. Feel free to get in contact if you would like additional information!
I'm a sculptor, photographer and I work as a freelance photographers assistant. I have my own workshop in greensquare so won’t be making a mess at home. Some of my work can be seen on www.woodsee.com I'm hetero, a bit deaf and wear hearing aids. I'm fairly quiet and have been told i'm very easy to live with. I have lived in a number of different share houses and remain good friends with many of my previous flatmates. I'm happy to socialise and will respect your belongings and space. I'm pretty neat, I love to cook, listen to music, beer, wine and conversation. Im interested in art, theatre and Netflix binge sessions. Must be 420 & LGBTQI friendly as I have zero interest in living with people who don’t realise it’s the 21st century.
I work in city (full time) in IT sector, a bit of geek and into gadgets. Living in Redfern currently. Very easy going and reasonably clean person. Have a bit of sensitive nose so ensure place where i live smells really nice. Besides my work, i like to be involved in physical activities (like rock climbing, gym & pole dance). Flexible with dates. Looking for teaming up for a LGBT friendly house hold. Got plenty of lounge, kitchen and bedroom stuff which will make life easier. (New Couches, giant TV, kitchen utensils, fridge, washing machine) Could be social, but most nights I come back home after work and gym around 9. love to grab a drink occasionally discussing who is who in Rupaul. My Uber rating is 4.92 and my most used emoji is 💃🏽 If it’s required! P.s. I am not as threatening as I look in my pic! 🤓
