I am from Canada moving to Sydney to pursue my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I enjoy staying active whether it be through sports or the gym. I am a pretty easy going, tidy person who would love to catch up with my other flatmates over dinner or drinks, but also respect everyone's need for alone time. I love to travel and am excited to explore the city and beaches of Sydney on the weekends! Looking for a place to move into early February 2019.
I'm planning to move to Sydney this coming January 2019 to study. I'm born and raised under the hot Philippine sun. I'm very sociable. My interests include the following : Psychology, cats, dogs, Science, movies, TV series, music, MMA, books, and memes.
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, <30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - ZERO interest in boarding houses. Prefer the person I’m renting from also live in the same place. - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - private room only (this shouldn’t have to be said but sadly it seems I need to explicitly say it) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse full of early 20s. I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof... but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the house is big. But I am NOT looking for a boarding house. I prefer to actually be renting from the people I'm living with, or be put on the lease with them. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
Hi I've just finished Uni and want to move out at some point over the next few months, just looking for the right place :) I am a respectful, clean and sociable human being.
I'm looking for a temporary place for short stay from 7th Jan to 1st Feb. I work full time as a contract administrator at a construction company. I'm going on a trip on early Februrary so would like to find a permanent place after that.
I’m a 28 year old Juris Doctor candidate at UTS with 6 months to the finish. I also manage a cocktail bar in Sydney Olympic Park 5 days per week. I’ve lived in Homebush for the last 4 years, running a shared penthouse for 3 and then downsized with my (ex)partner. I’m well travelled, well spoken, well partied, reliable and respectful. My downside is that I’m a tragic roosters fan. You’ll learn to love it #back2back.
Working in Sydney on the North Connex tunnel project. I am an Electrician and will be working on a 3 week on 1 week off roster travelling from Brisbane. I will be at work 6 days a week. I only require a private room and access to cooking and laundry facilities. I will be receiving a living away from home allowance and would also be able to pay for utilities if needed. I am a married family man and am looking at a month to month open lease dependant upon project requirements. I consider myself honest, clean and quiet, and am willing to help out with household chores and general up keep on the property.
*(FYI: Just here for research at the moment, not looking to move until March 2019)* I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who is looking to move in March 2019. I work full time for a trade union, Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing and like having low key evenings at home although don't mind the occasional movie/pub meal during the week. I like going to the party rather than bringing it home, although I do like entertaining friends over dinner or drinks at home. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm reliable and responsible with rent/bills/groceries/dishes/taking the bins out, etc. I'm also sociable and funny, and don't mind having a chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I love cooking (when I'm not exhausted) and sharing a meal once in a while. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates and would like to live in a place i call home rather than just rent a room in a house. Most importantly, I am house-trained and not a dickhead.
Student from Macquarie University who wants to live between the city and MQ uni. I have a part-time job, and am a clean and tidy person. Catch is I'll only be moving in by the 3rd week of January due to my current contract, but I'm looking for a long term place to stay (1 year+) so rest assured your time consideration is an investment.
Hi! I currently live in Newcastle and am starting uni next year in Sydney at the start of March so I am looking for a place nearby to move in around mid February. I am a neat and tidy individual and I respect others privacy as well as value my own. I love to cook and I enjoy keeping fit and active. I’m also very friendly and easy to get along with :)
Hi there! I am looking for an apartment for me and my boyfriend for when we study abroad in Australia. We are from the United States. We will be there from February 8th to June 24th. We have been together 5 years and are both very friendly. He is much more introverted and I am very extroverted. He is studying neuroscience and I will study marketing. We are looking for friendly people who are accepting of having opposite genders in their apartment. We are very mature in our relationship so we do not fight or go out late to parties. We pretty much tend to stick to ourselves and studying. School is very important to us.
Looking for a friendly, laid-back house with no more than 2 flatmates. A private room with ensuit or own bathroom. My budget ranges from $200 - $300 depending on facilities, accessibility and number of fatties etc.). Prefer long term stay. A little about myself. Turning 27 this year, I just want to make the best of what I have in life, take care of who I love and, most importantly, live healthily and happily. I work full time in a contemporary art gallery and part time in customer service. I'm mature, respectful, easy-going, open-minded and definitely a pet-friendly, LGBT-friendly citizen of the world. Not a smoker nor alcoholic, but would definitely down for a glass of wine every so often. Got an electronic keyboard that I wish to bring along, but all good if I can't. Alrighty, look forward to meeting my future flatties.
Hello, My name is keira and I am from China. I am a student. I would like to looking for a house. I think I am friendly and I am clean. I want to get private room and own of my bathroom in my room. If your house is better I can stay there long time.

Hi there, I'm a 21 yr old Construction professional working in the city. Moving from the Sutherland Shire, looking to find somewhere closer to work. About me: - I work 5-6 days. Usually leave early and home in the evening. - When free I'm always down for: a drink, night out, a gig, pub feed, netflix binge or BBQ. - Love travelling - Like cars, bikes - Try to keep fit by going to the gym, but that's a constant struggle - Love animals so if you have pets that's a bonus. Don't have any of my own. - Like being social but also keep to myself sometimes. - Clean and respectful of others space - Easy going About my future place: - Private room, unfurnished. - Preferably located close to public transport. - Car parking is an essential, either off-street, on-street if easily available or near a parking garage if in the city. - Ideally my roommates would be ok with friends coming over every now and then - Open to lots of different locations: Eastern suburbs, Inner West Really just looking for a chill place that I can call home and become friends with the people there.
Hello! I'm 27, working full time and will also be studying next year. I am looking to find either an existing pet-friendly home, or someone to team up with to find a new place to make our own! Hoping to move in late January or early February. I am clean, quiet (but friendly!) and have a good rental history. I am relatively easygoing and get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot but would be happy to have the occasional chat or Netflix session with my flatmate. I do have 2 cats and 2 budgies, who are very clean. Be warned that the cats may try to cuddle you or sit with you though! I have a fridge, washer, dryer, lounge, TV and streaming services that I am more than happy to share. Hoping to find a nice flatmate and then a nice place to live!
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
