I've shared both apartments and houses with people for 4 years so I'm not new to this. I'm independent but friendly. I love sitting down and having good chat but I also don't need people to be around me 24/7 and often like spending time alone. I'm a film school graduate, so I love movies -- the cinema is my happy place. I'm also often writing and working on my own projects in my spare time.
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a stay of 6 months or more. I'm 33 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a couple who are moving overseas in a few weeks time. The most important thing for me is having a home where I feel safe and able to be myself. I recently came out as a trans woman, and an LGBT inclusive household is a must. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties or loud friends over every night etc. I'm a pretty friendly and gentle person, but sometimes a bit shy with new people to begin with. I'm happy to chat away with housemates, or just do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and shared areas in the same condition. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, and weekends I'm often out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable, I'm also prepared to quickly sign up and transfer a bond and advance rent as required. My preferred budget including bills is around $250 pw.
Hi, my names Matt, i'm 25 and moving to Sydney for work. This will be my first time living in the city. I work full-time Mon-Sat in the engineering sector therefore i won't be around too much apart for nights. Every other weekend i will be travelling back to my current place of residence so won't be around too much. Keep to myself most the time but can be sociable. Love my sports and have it on as much as possible regardless of what it is. Really easy going and tidy. Also studying part-time through distance so live a busy life. Happy to live in a room anywhere really provided i have access to a train station to get to work and am able to park my car either off or on street.
My name is Emily and I'm 25 years old originally from NZ. I'm a professional performer who works many promotional jobs on the side to support myself etc. I am a home bunny I like to keep to myself at home, mostly chilling in my bedroom but am always down for a casual chat. I am also VERY neat and tidy, don't cook often and I have lived in Sydney for 6 😊 would definitely only prefer to live with 1 person - if not on my own!
We are two awesome full time working people, tidy and friendly (if you want us to be!), easy going, reliable and honest. We are looking for two bedrooms (we are not a couple). Did I mention we are awesome :)
Hey all! I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I've been working and living in Sydney for a year now. I've lived in shared accommodation throughout the duration of my stay. So super clean, tidy and respectful. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a drink or two! I’m a sociable person and would like to potentially make new pals with my housemates. Looking for somewhere long term around 6 months of so. Looking for a private room too :) Feel free to ask me anything Zahrah xoxo
I respect other people's privacy, and love quiet nights during the week - I usually like to enjoy a glass of red or 2, after work and watching TV shows on Netflix. I work every 2nd weekend, so I don't go out much :) I love travelling, exercising and going out to new cafes/restaurants.
I'm a friendly, easygoing and fun guy who's keen to help out around the house. I grew up in Annandale, Sydney and lived in a few share houses in Balmain/Chippendale. I'm studying full time at University of Sydney doing a Bachelor of Education (Primary), and working casually at a before/after school care in Glebe. I love coming home and being sociable, but also have study so know the importance of personal space and having time on your own. Lion King fanatic, Game of Thrones enthusiast.
I'm looking for a nice place to come home to and chill. I have just come back from travelling and sharing rooms so craving some of my own space! I am open minded and easy going, down to hang now and then, but i definitely like my own space. At the moment i work 3 days as a Nanny as i have injured my knee (sad face) but my job pays the billz. Once it heals I will go back to 5-6 days work! I am Vegan, but not a crazy intense Vegan.. I'm not too worried about living with meat eaters, but of course a vego family would be nice... Open to live with anybody as long as ur not creepy or dirty, kitchen and bathroom should be cleannnnnn, can't say the same for my bedroom mostly tho. xox
PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU LIVE IN THE HOUSE.... I don’t want to hear from people trying to cram as many people into houses they own but don’t live in. PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE OFF STREET PARKING.... my profile clearly states this need so I am not interested in street parking If you meet these criteria, please read on. Hey, I'm Bec. I am a full time high school teacher in the Inner West and I currently commute a crazy distance to get there. I have lived in the area before and it's time to move back and regain some hours in my life. Due to the nature of my work, I am not home during the day time and am quite busy in school term. I usually like to come home to a relaxed setting, where sharing a glass of wine or few with dinner or TV is welcomed, but reasonable sleeping hours are also respected. I have shared houses in Australia and overseas, with friends, randoms, males, females, mixed nationalities, ages etc and have never missed a rent payment or a cleaning schedule. Ideally, I require a large-ish room, built ins and off-street parking. I am past the student life (been there, done that ... twice over) so I am being picky... please don't contact me if your room on offer is an expensive shoe box. I have a queen bed, a bookcase, a desk and then some clothes that require a built in wardrobe. Let me know if you can help me out or have any questions. Looking forward to meeting some new housemates and hopefully, friends. Bec :)
Looking to move out roughly by the end of June. I'm clean, really chill and usually down for a drink after work. Self-acclaimed spectacular cook, and if you don't find me in the kitchen you'll likely find me on my computer or at the gym. Feel free to message me, Jack
We are two 20 year old full-time students working part time, looking for another person to team up with to begin a share house in the up and coming weeks in the Sydney area. We are limited to a maximum of $200 PW each, for a three bedroom house. We are LGBT friendly, vegan (the chill kind not the crazy kind), enjoy arts and music, love animals and are environmentally conscious. We enjoy the occasional drink and a night out with friends however are not looking to have a huge party house as we are both studying. We enjoy cooking a home shared meal and are open minded. If this sounds like something you're into and wish to become a part of a fun, funky and conscious house-hold let's get in touch!
I'm an easy-going full-time Engineer, writing in the CBD. I'm sociable and friendly, more reviews happy to have a chat and/or a drink, but definitely not a partier. I'm clean, respectful, and responsible. I am fairly active in my free time, playing sports and generally trying to be outdoors, but certainly don't mind the odd Netflix binge. I here writing bio's and am looking forward to settling into a new home with likeminded people.
I'm a music-loving leftie who likes reading, kayaking, bushwalking, the beach, loves travelling, playing piano, meditation, trying new restaurants and bars with friends, and I have a keen interest in cheese and Netflix binges. Oh, and I'm LGBTQI-friendly of course! I'm a nurse at RPA who loves her job, and I work a full-time rotating roster, so I'm looking to live with peeps who can appreciate the irregular working/sleeping hours, and are mindful of the decibels when flatties are doing night shifts. I'm looking for a new home in a share-house (vs. apartment) with like-minded peeps, who enjoy a drink or dinner together, and enjoy their home as a sanctuary. My party-house days are over, but I enjoy the occasional social gathering, or dinner party at home. I'm a social person, and also like a good bit of 'me time'. As a seasoned share-houser (that's a word, right?), I've found the best housemate relationships are those that respect personal space, communicate openly about any niggles, enjoy socialising and having a good chat over a glass of wine or coffee, pee with the bathroom door closed and do their dishes and share of the housework. I'm looking for a large room, and have a piano (basic upright + electric- so can play it silently) so would love room for that. Be it in my room, or ideally if there's space elsewhere in the house. I'll even let you have a go :) Looking for a home for at least 6 months +, in a house (vs. apartment) with at least 2 other people, ideally polished floorboards (stupid allergies!), and somewhere I can easily get parking (on-street is fine), and a dishwasher would be awesome! Above all, looking for like-minded peeps I'd get along with and can have a laugh with :) Message me if you have any questions or think we may get along!

Indonesian interior designer works full time in Surry hills. Prefer quiet and clean space, unwind after work, no party and no drama. Queer and pet friendly. Looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a house and prefers sharing with one person only in the house. Not owning a car so prefer place has an easy access to central. Also, looking for a furnished room with double/queen size bed :)) As for the moving date, i’m open to discuss and not urgent. I’m also looking for a place to rent more than 6months. So no short stay and not interested in subletting places.
Emmy and I are looking to create a new sharehouse with at least one other person. We are looking for a flat/apartment/house in the Newtown/Enmore/Stanmore area. We are both working professionals. I am a nurse, so my shifts vary, looking for someone who is willing to be respectful when I am on nights. We are both keen on adventures and getting outside during weekends. We are no longer party animals and instead prefer a few beers or wines at home, usually with a cheese board or some takeaway! We are both down to earth gals looking for similar people to live with. Happy to meet up before hand for an initial meet!
I'm 28 and pretty laid back looking for a room in an existing home share or looking to team up to rent an entire apartment. I work full time in Circular Quay 8:30-4:30pm. I enjoy the occasional drink after work, hanging out with friends, Netflix, cooking and sports. Looking for someone who is up for a chat and drink after work, but also likes their own space and is clean around the house. No problem with having people stay over or come for a few drinks but I'm not into any massive parties. Move date by weekend of 7/8 July at the latest. Looking ideally for a place close to a train line/easy transportation to the CBD and Circular Quay. Preferably own bathroom and I require a car space (either on or off street parking).
