Career driven professional working full time in the property industry. I'm generally out the door before the sun is up and home late in the afternoon. Looking for a like minded individual to team up with. Things that keep me busy include fitness, cooking, a good book, food, beach and sun. Also don't mind unwinding with a drink after a long week at work.
Upon ending my one year job contract in Canada, I had realised how much I miss Sydney, the city where I grew up and spent most of previous 15 years life in, the city where I felt cozy, comfort and homie, and the vibe where I could not wait to jump back into. So I just flew back in town on 1st August from the other end of world and decided I am going to spend the rest of my life here back home. Very passionate about life. Love cooking, baking. Quite good at Italian food, Chinese food and Southeast Asian cusine when I am not too busy to feed myself.
Grad architect looking for own room team ups. Mature, friendly and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have big items such as a car, a mattress, and a big cork table so preferably not furnished, and a flat driveway for my car. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related, but don't mind the occasional hang outs or drinks. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hey guys! My name is Claire, I'm a full-time Fine Art/Environmental Humanities student at UNSW, working part-time. I’m an ex-country kid who is clean, respectful and super easy going. I’m vego but I can still make a mean chicken roast and I have a bunch of indoor plants too, if that’ll sweeten the deal. I’m looking for a laaarge, sunny bedroom in a relaxed house (bonus points if you’re herb friendly). Preferably close to transport as I work in the city and go to uni on the Paddington campus. While I am an art student, I’m not messy and the majority of my practical work is done at my studio space. I also have a free-standing 160L tank of tropical fish (which I can burden my family with, if needed) and a two little rats, Nala and Dada, who are super adorable, clean and friendly! If you're interested in living with me (us) or have any questions at all, feel free to send me a message and I'd love to meet you! - Claire
Hi, my name's Emily, I'm 27, working and studying in the arts and cultural industries. I'm looking for queer-friendly accommodation in the inner west, and have a flexible move-in date (needing to give 1 month's notice to my current housemates.) I'll be bringing my own furniture and as such, am looking for a medium-to-large sized room. In my downtime I like to cook while listening to podcasts, work on craft projects, read or play videogames. I'm a social person, preferring intimate gatherings over big parties. As a housemate I'm clean and respectful, looking to move into a household with the same values. I value open communication with my housemates and welcome the idea of a shared meal or Friday night drinks.
My name is Maddy, I'm 23 years old and I work part-time as a medical receptionist. I'm also currently looking for more work. I like to keep to myself but also enjoy good conversation over a cup of tea. Hobbies include medieval reenactment, baking, jewellery design and rock climbing. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else about me.

A laid-back, easygoing and clean guy looking for a private room, ideally not too far from USYD. I'm 24, from Hong Kong, currently a full-time law student. I've got a pretty heavy study load, so don't have to worry about me throwing parties and making a mess etc. Though I won't mind joining roommate's party once in a while. Also, respect for personal space and privacy is essential, but I'm up for sharing a few drinks in spare time or chatting about random stuff, like the last season of GOT or whatever, lol. I enjoy the idea of living at a 'home', not just some motel where ppl comes and goes.
I’m friendly and easy to get along with but won’t get in the way. I’m clean and tidy I’m a good cook Interests include film, music, reading, drawing & most of all my 7 year old son I don’t have any pets but I love them
Howdy! Looking for a place to stay preferrably long term for two friends, 1 male and 1 female (not a couple) here in Sydney. About us: - Both are nurses who came from the Philippines and working full-time as registered nurses: one is working in Bondi Junction while the other one is working in Darlinghurst. - Easy going, respectful, responsible, clean and tidy. - Friendly and very approachable. We like to socialise but we value privacy as well. - You wouldn’t have to worry, you’ve got 2 nurses under your roof, we got you covered 😉 What we are looking for: - Near to train station as we don’t have a car. We prefer walking distance to train station. 😊 - Close to supermarkets, shops and cafes is ideal but not neccessary. - Private room for each, shared toilet and bath is not a problem. - Fully furnished with all utilities included (WiFi, water, electricity) - Place which can accommodate occasional visitor/s. Willing to pay extra if staying for a while. - Our home away from home. 😊 Ready to move in on or before September 11th. Kindly send us a message for offers. Cheers :)
I am from colombia, quite person, organized and clean. love outside activites and know new friends. I would like to find a single room cheers
I’ve had wonderful shared homes - with 4, 3, 2 others and one - and lived alone for some years too - in Sydney and Melbourne. Tolerant, fun, slightly crazy, financially independent, like classical music, personal spaces, swimming, reading and travel. I have an apartment in the south of France and a house on the Hawkesbury River. Own a car and small boat, no pets, no children. I eat meat and cook all types of foods. Love lunches out and entertaining.
My names Katie, I'm 25, I work part time and study nursing at uni. I'm pretty quiet but always up for a drink or dinner with housemates. I'm looking at either the North Shore or Inner West areas. ****I'm not able to move just yet but am aiming for mid-end September. I'm flexible with an exact move date**** I have a cat named Charlie (the cuddly kind of cat not the cranky kind) - I'd hate to give him up so I'd love to find some people that would be happy to have him in their home. He's been living with two dogs so hes friendly with other animals, he's toilet trained and no trouble at all. If it sounds like we'd be a good fit for your place please let me know :)
I'm Ash, 29 year old make-up artist and student currently studying Youth Work. Bit about me: Ambivert, quiet and extremely tidy. Intersectional feminist, animal lover and I really enjoy photography. I value honesty and transparency. I'm looking for a place that is quiet and respectful of each other's space and privacy, preferably LGBTQIA+.
Hi All, My name is Joshua and I'm a male in my early 30's looking for my own room to rent in a unit or house in the Inner-West of Sydney. Preferably, I would like to live in Dulwich Hill, Marrickville, Hurlstone Park, Petersham or Summer Hill. I'm a full-time working professional, very laid back, clean, hygienic and sociable. I'm also a massive sports fan (live for the NRL) and also really like cricket, baseball, soccer and WWE wrestling. Music wise, I'm into rock and metal mostly, but also enjoy blues. I enjoy a drink socially and it would be handy if my flatmate/flatmates did too. What I'm looking for in a nutshell: - Fun, friendly and easy going flatmates (Male or Female is fine by me) - A private room of my own (not shared) - A place within 1km of a train station - A place with air conditioning is a must - Wifi essential - Our own washing machine within our unit. Not a communal shared one - Foxtel and Netflix a huge advantage What I'm NOT looking for: - Sharing my bedroom - Living with anyone over 46 - Rent of more than $250 a week - Living with more than 2 other people Please contact me if you have a room available in one of the suburbs I've listed and you've read my profile and think we would make great flatmates. Cheers
I usually spend my spare time reading, watching movies and working on art projects (don't panic - they're not mess generating art projects - mostly just sketching and botanical illustrations). I'm reasonably flexible with living conditions so if you like having guests over, throwing dinner parties and playing music out loud, I'll have no complaints (growing up in my family household, noise was just something I got used to). I also like to visit my family and friends on some weekends/holidays so you'd have your place to yourself around then. I'm happy to help out with the cleaning up and will do my best to keep things as tidy as possible. I have a pretty broad sense of humour so I'm always up for a laugh and though I'm fairly quiet by nature, I do enjoy talking (a lot) and I'm an excellent listener if you ever want to chat. All in all though, I generally live by the code of giving other people their space so most of the time I'll just keep to myself.
Hello! I’m a 25-year-old photographer from rural Victoria, living in Geelong currently. While I might be from the country, I’m no spring chicken when it comes to Sydney! Being a former local around the Marrickville and Parramatta areas, I’ve given my notice and am packing my bags to come back to my adopted home after an 18-month stint working freelance around Melbourne as a copywriter. Generally I’m an ambiverted type that enjoys a quiet retreat from the rat race, but the occaisional meal/movie some rad queers/queer friendly folks for housemates. One of the perks that comes with welcoming me into your rental family is that I keep tidy, love listening to people and enough general knowledge facts to put a game of Trivial Pursuit to shame. When I’m not at home or at work, I’ll usually be out taking photos and exploring around the local area for hidden gems and decent local coffee. If you’d like to know more about how I could fit perfectly into your mix, just send me a message and say howdy!
Hey all! I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I've been working and living in Sydney for a year now. I've lived in shared accommodation throughout the duration of my stay. So super clean, tidy and respectful. Pay bills and rent on time etc. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a drink or two! I’m a sociable and easy going person, so up for after work chats & general catch ups. Looking for some chilled out like minded individuals. Also looking for somewhere long term around 6 months of so. I’m currently in Europe, and flying back on the 22/23. So preferably looking to move on the weekend 25th. Flexible with times etc. Looking for a private room too :) Feel free to ask me anything Thanks, Zahrah xoxo
We are Brazilian couple chilled and easy going personality we both work and study so we are looking for a couple room in a nice and clean house with nice people. A nice and chilled house it would be suitable for our personality. We enjoy spending some time in the kitchen.
Hi!! I AM LOOKING TO START A SHARE HOUSE WITH 1 OR 2 OTHERS I'm a 34 year old single professional. I work fulltime and reasonably social, but also enjoy my own company. I'm very active, love to be outdoors, regularly hit the gym and like to cook. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle through the week due to early starts, but overall I'm easy going and fun, like a good chat over a wine or two, and throw around some banter! I'm currently living alone, and adult well, however would love to have the social interaction and feeling of family living with other people upon completion of my lease in mid/ late Oct. I am looking to start a share house taking the master bedroom & ensuite, and living with 1 or 2 others. Female preferred, however open to male if they're the right fit. I have everything needed to do this, all you will need to bring is your own requirements for your room, and your glowing personality! -But if you have anything you'd like to contribute to the household [global knives or a clothes drier perhaps?!] It's obviously welcomed! Being in my mid 30's I'm well established, and I've come to enjoy a certain style of living. I like to come home to a nice place, which is either new or at the very least have a renovated kitchen and bathrooms, not loaded with pointless clutter, and easy to keep clean. I have relatively new and modern home furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, Dyson vacuum and no pets. I'm not really one who wants to live in a dive of a place with the lifestyle of a 18 year old or backpacker partying it up every weekend. lol I have pictures of my current one bedroom apartment showing you what furniture will be in the new home & an example of how I like to live. Ideal housemates will also work fulltime, adult with ease, be self aware and respectful of others space & belongings. You will have no issue being a part of a 12 month lease, and enjoy the same standard of living. You will have the initiative to do simple things if you see it's needs doing [like taking out the rubbish!] and be willing to contribute to the usual household chores. Would love to have that family vibe in the home, with a good balance of space and interaction with laughs over some drinks. Utilities are to be split 3 ways [Gas/ Elec & Internet] I'm on a bit of a health kick, so I cook most evenings Sunday to Thursday, and happy if someone wants to get on board with this and split costs/ share cooking inspiration! The kind of place I'd be looking to move into would include; *New or with recently renovated kitchen & bathrooms *Dishwasher *Gas or induction cooking *Bedrooms with BIR's *Ideally lots of natural light and fresh air *AC or at the least ceiling fans in bedrooms *Tiles or floorboards throughout main living areas *Decent Sized Apartment or house/ townhouse depending on number of occupants and everyone's living preferences *Low maintenance yard/ Outdoor entertaining space [everyone loves a good night with antipasto platters & drinks yes?] *Close to public transport If this sounds like you, get in touch! I'm also open to other suggestions/ requirements on our potential new home, so don't be afraid to speak up :)
Hey! I’m Christina, 24, I work on a farm in Western Sydney, pretty clean, and easy going. Looking for a place to stay with good vibes and great people.
HEY! I'm an international postgraduate student from Singapore, pursuing my Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at USYD. I'm very easygoing and have been told I'm a friendly person. I'm great at cleaning up after myself in common areas and am very respectful of personal space. I'd describe myself as a social introvert, and while I do enjoy heading out for a drink or two on weekends, I'd love a chill night in just as much. Just looking for a private room in a share house with an easygoing vibe. I'll be free to move in mid-August, and plan to stay til February next year
Hi there, My name is Pete, I'm 29 years old and work as a HR Business Partner. Originally from the Sutherland Shire, I'm looking to move closer to the city for the connivence of being closer to work and to enjoy a change of pace. I've spent the past month or so living in Woolloomooloo house sitting for a friend, so now that I've had a taste I can't go back! I'm exceptionally easy going and I like to keep a clean place of stay but certainly not a clean freak. I feel like I get on with most walks of life, so would love the opportunity to meet anyone that fits what I'm after for a coffee or beer to see if it works out. In my spare time lately I've been enjoying exploring the Sydney CBD and taking advantage of the epic parks close by with mates. I love good food so I like to cook and am always up for trying a new bar or restaurant that I hear of. When I'm not out and about, you will probably find me reading on/watching the UFC as I'm a big fan. Regarding the place, a private bathroom is always a plus but I'm flexible. I will also require a furnished bedroom and likely only open to having two roommates max (no massive share house situation) Looking forward to meeting new people and hearing from anyone who is interested. Cheers!
