Hi! I'm Naomi, currently a part-time Bachelor of Arts student looking to move up to Brisbane in Dec 2018/Jan 2019 for a warmer climate (Canberra winters are icy), where I hope to find part-time work. I'm hoping to live with a maximum of 2 flatmates of any age- I enjoy talking and being around other people, but also need moments of quiet in my own space. I'm a bit of an old soul, a "twenty-something grandma" who loves dressmaking, the occasional movie, basic photography, sewing, craft, reading and am a decent cook. I love to share food that I've made- expect regular brownies, muesli bars and homemade bread. I'm vegetarian, but am happy to adapt recipes to be GF, vegan, DF, and respect your choices (food and otherwise). I don't smoke, take illicit drugs or drink, but am fine with others having the occasional glass of alcoholic something. I am not a fan at all of loud parties and/or lots of people though. I am quite mature for my age, always polite and always happy to listen if someone needs to talk or vent a little, or leave you some space. Housemates should work together like a family. If adult life is being a bit more difficult due to mental illness, recently arrived in Australia, chronic illness, disability, dire finances, being LGBTIQA+ or anything else, I will do my best to be accommodating and supportive, as I hope my flatmates would do for me. If you're having an absolutely awful day or three, I won't haggle you to do the dishes, but I hope that there will be some regular bathroom/kitchen cleaning arrangement where everyone does a little bit, so we can all enjoy a clean space. And if you have pets, that's great since I like animals, especially dogs. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hey, I’m a high-school graduate who’s currently taking a gap year to find work before I go to university next year. I’d consider myself a clean person, although my room can sometimes end up a little cluttered. Most of the time I spend at home is in my room. I likely won’t have many people over, and I tend to stick to myself, doing things like gaming and reading. That doesn’t mean I’m opposed to spending time with roommates however.
Hi I’m jessie, a international student from Hong Kong. I’m easy going and friendly. I have a quite busy schedule on weekdays soo Im looking for a cozy and quiet room for myself :)
I am a PhD candidate at UQ school of Civil Engineering. I prefer accommodation sharing with postgraduates or professionals
I'm a warm, easy-going, friendly person who is looking for a place to move in. I currently live in Sunnybank, so I'm hoping to stay in the area and surrounding suburbs as it's more familiar to me, I enjoy the neighbourhood, and is close to my current workplace. I love going to the movies or binging a good tv show, reading and writing, and playing games. I'm also a foodie, so I like to go out for dinner and drinks often. I work full time at the moment and I'm always looking for some spare time for my hobbies and other passions in life. Preferably, I'd like to move into a place with other women with or or two more housemates as that is what I am most comfortable with at this time, but I am open to any and all offers at this time. I am available to move in at any time with short notice, hopefully before the end of July. I do currently work 9-6 during the week. Please only message me during these hours as my work requiries me to be on the phone. I am available to message or call at any time during the weekend.
Hi there, I work full time in marketing, I'm mostly quiet and I always clean after myself. My lease is ending soon, and I'm looking for a homey shared house or a granny flat. Potential issue 1: I have a well-trained puppy who is super lovely and friendly, she needs a fenced yard to hang around. Potential issue 2: I also have a lot of clothes, a big built-in wardrobe or walk-in robe would be handy. Potential issue 3: I have a Golf, and it'd be great if I can park it in a garage or carport rather than on the street.
Quiet , like my own space and am looking for a spacious room preferably furnished with double/queen bed for comfort. I am not loud or disruptive and like to stick to myself as I’m busy with work/study . I like to be able to use the shower and kitchen facilities without there being to many people constantly using them and having to wait. Would be interested in teaming up with another likeminded person to share a place of our own! Something decent but affordable. I work in the city so need to be close to public transport. I have the odd friend over etc and am friendly but mainly just stick to myself and come and go as I please
Hi! I am an honours graduate from UQ and applying for PhD now. I want to find a nice place for me to stay and finish my future study. I do not smoke or drink. I do not have pets either(If my flatmates have one. that's also fine.). I am happy to make friends with my flatmates and also glad to fit their everyday life. Any person friendly, clean and quiet is fine for me. Sometimes I will play PC game, but I will sleep at least before 11 p.m.

I am an international student from Norway, going to study urban planning at Griffith university, Nathan campus for the next trimester. I arrived in Brisbane a few days ago, and have short time accommodations until 25. june. I would like to find a place to live until the end of november as soon as possible. As I am dependent on public transport, the accommodation must be located within a reasonable distance to public transport that will take me to Griffith university, Nathan. I would like to live with others as thats a great way to make new friends in a foreign city. I would prefer a good mixture of socializing and private life between me and my flatmates. During my stay in Brisbane I would like to explore the city and what it has to offer, while at the same time doing well when it comes to my studies. Feel free to contact me :)
