I work as Branch manager for cleaning company in Tasmania. Recently I have graduated from University of Tasmania and receive my permanent residency. Therefore I'm moving to Melbourne to land a job in engineering field which is related to my degree.
I’m a relaxed person who keep a busy schedule studying civil engineering online full-time whilst also working as an engineer on the NBN network. I love travelling and am currently in South America until late Feb. I enjoy hanging out with people and going out when I can but also like having my own space after a long day. If there is anything you want to know feel free to ask.
Hey all, 23 year Male looking for a place in Melbourne. I work full time, settled and fairly low key. I make a mean loaf of bread, fail at using Mac’s and know bathroom etiquette. Looking for a place around the $260 mark, no party houses as I am a shift worker and on the west side of Melbourne.
I’m Chloe, 22 and a student looking for a short sublet from the end of Feb/beginning of March - beginning of May anywhere in the Melbourne area pretty much! I’m clean, organised, happy to chat and hang out if other people are up for it!
We are friendly, easy to get along with, adaptable to peoples needs (privacy, personal space, sensitivities etc). We tend to carry on with our own agenda but still keep the space lively. :) We create and are into; poetry, music, art, film.. basically anything creative! We are moving Melbourne from Perth in April 2018. :D
Hi Guys! I'm Ben and I am currently on the hunt for new digs! I previously worked at a salary packaging company working shifts between 8am - 7pm but am currently in between jobs and looking for a change to start the new year with! During the week I am too buggered after work to do much but blob out on the sofa binging on Netflix (and soon to be Stan once Rupauls Drag Race comes back on!) but I do enjoy drinks on a friday after a hard week to unwind and occasionally go out to boogie if I'm not too tired. In my spare time I love to garden and usually go straight to work in greening up a place when I'm lucky enough to live in a house with a garden! You'll often find me at the Royal Botanic Garden which is one of my favourite places to visit and eyeing up pot plants at the local nursery thinking hrmm do I have enough space for another houseplant? I grew up in New Zealand and have lived in Melbourne for 8 years now. I would describe myself as pretty laid back, easy going and definately someone that speaks with no filter! I'm a considerate flatmate that doesn't hide in their room all day, keeps shared spaces tidy, likes to have a chat every now and then, but who is also mature enough to know that sometimes you just need your own space! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask away! Cheers, Ben
My name is Linh and I'm currently looking for a place to stay in Footscray. I am clean, tidy, responsible, respect other's privacy and always pay rent on-time. I am quiet, but don't mind having a chat/hang out together from time to time. I work full time from Mon-Sat and go to church on Sunday, so I eat out most of the time and don't often cook. During my spare time, I play video games, watch movies and study or hang out with my friends.
My name is Chau and I’m working full time for an optical company. I’m an easy-going, trustworthy, reliable, respectful and tidy person, who would want the same from a roommate. I like reading, listening to music, shopping and outdoor walk.
Hey, i'm sociable and friendly, but also really respectful of personal space! I love chatting, cooking together, going for drinks, watching films etc. However i also understand the importance of people having their own time and space. I'm not noisy, I clean up after myself. I'm always happy to do someone a favour if they need :)
About to start a new job mid February, until then on Centrelink but I play gigs, and busk also. Musical, easy going, clean and can be social or chilled out whatever the mood. Looking To move ASAP and the cheaper the better (:
My names Jaydah and I'm 18. I have just recently moved from the NT to Victoria for university. I work at Kmart in Footscray. I enjoy watching Netflix, learning new things, working, playing video games and I enjoy cooking. I'm a clean, reliable and friendly person. I am great with deadlines and will be reliable to pay rent on time. I love animals and would be happy to live with them, I do not have any of my own.
Hi there :) My name is Claire and my friends Josh and Sebastian and I are looking for a house! A little about us: We're all University students with part time jobs, are very easy going people, who love to socialise but are not crazy party animals. We like to go out to restaurants and bars on the weekend and we also love to stay in and watch movies all night. As we are all students with jobs we are very hard workers and will be out of the house most days. We are all in our 20s, are all tidy and very friendly. There is no drama with us, we work, study, hang out and relax. Please chuck us a message if you have a property that you think would suit us! We'd love to hear from you :)
Hey! I’m 22 and have only moved over from Perth recently so I’m looking for somewhere to call home :) I’d like to think of myself as clean, respectful, and friendly. I hold a degree in communications so I’m on the hunt for some full time work within my field - but will result to hospo/retail work to tide me over until I find something (and have some savings to help out also). I’m open to all genders, sexualities, and walks of life, so I need housemates accepting of that. I enjoy a drink or two like anyone, but am not focused on partying every weekend as I moved to start and focus on my professional life. I do smoke lightly, but hate the smell (hypocritical I know) so obviously I will only do it outside and am hoping to stop in the future. I don’t have, or plan to have, any pets but I miss my cats at home so have no problem with them being around at all! If you think I sound like someone you can live with then I would love to hear from you! Harry
We are a bunch of creatives - film makers and musicians that want a place to be productive while studying and working part-time
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner and have a history of jobs so getting a new one won't be something to worry too much about. I tend to keep to myself but I've been told I have a nice sense of humour and will always be down for a good conversation. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her.
I'm a 23-year-old recent Swinburne Graduate. I was born in Poland and moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, my flatmate with whom I have been living ever since I moved to Melbourne is now moving out and I have to find a new place to stay. I'm young yet mature, very easy going and respectful. I'm interested in art and design, enjoy going to art galleries and exhibitions in my free time. I usually cook at home every second day, I'm very tidy and rather quiet. I don't own a car so I would prefer to stay in a place located relatively close to public transport. If you own any animals it's a massive bonus cause I love pets, especially dogs :)
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet (trivia is fun). I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Doing pretty well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will ideally become available in February, as I need to move out of my current place in Caulfield North by March. Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
Hey, I'm Victoria (or Vic but please not Vicky; no one wants the nickname that comes with Vicky), I'm 25 and have just returned to Melbourne after a 4 month stay in the UK with my family. I've lived in Melbourne for 6 years so consider myself somewhat of a local although I still have so much more to see and learn. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygenic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. I'm looking for around a 3 month stay while I get myself back on my feet and find my own place although this may be longer. I am looking for a place under $200pw and the cheapest bond possible, preferably 2 weeks max or willing to negotiate payment of bond over a couple of weeks. (As previously mentioned, I have full time work however due to a 4 month break, my first monthly pay is on 15th Feb and have a limited amount of money to pay both 1st month rent and bond upfront. However steady flow of cash from 15/02 onwards - 2nd months rent would be paid on this day also). < just for full disclosure; I don't want to waste anybody's time. If I sound like someone you could live with, please let me know :D
I am a friendly and creative spirit and easy to live with :) very respectful of others' space as I would like the same in return. Currently unemployed over the holidays but will be getting back into retail full time shortly. I like to build good relationships with my housemates and can be very social. I enjoying live music and exploring music at home as well as cooking! Looking for a new room to call my own with decent wi-fi
Hi, I am a Danish exchange student who need a place to live from Jan 28,2018 to 20 June,2018. And I think your place sounds nice and seems like a good place to live while I am in Melbourne. I am going to study at RMIT for a Semester as a Civil engineer. As person I am relaxed, tolerant, easy to live with, always happy and ready to meet new people and experience new things. Moreover, I have lived by myself for the past five years therefore I take responsibility in a household and keep things clean. Before that I lived at a boarding school where I lived together I a room with 4 other people, so I respect and accept a closed door, moreover I am also ready to get a meal together sometimes.
