I’m not new to Melbourne, I’ve been living on/off in aus for the past 2 years. I’m originally from Denmark, and just got my student visa approved. I’m a very clean person, that enjoys privacy. But enjoying things like cooking dinner together as well. I’m at the gym 4-5 times a week and I work as a bartender every Friday and Saturday.
I am quite sporty and fun loving. I love to play badminton, work out in gym and hike. Have lived and travelled to around 15 countries in the world but now heading to Melbourne for my masters. I prefer a friendly and peaceful environment. Don't prefer parties or noisy gathering in my house.
I work in the jewellery industry, and am looking to move to Melbourne to start working in documentary video production. I like music, nature, reading, video, and good conversation. I am looking for a clean, tidy, good condition house with parking available and people who get along well.
Hi there, We have been a couple for over 3 years and we are moving to Melbourne on 22nd of August from London. See you soon, Rosa (24) and Dariusz (33)
Hi there. Im a 22 year old student from Denmark who is here in Melbourne on exchange at Monash University. I am looking for a home away from home for the next 4 months (till mid-November). About me: friendly, open-minded and easy-going person who knows how to keep the place nice and clean. I enjoy watching a movie or tv (right now Love Island ...), sharing a bottle of wine, playing board games or cooking dinner.
I'm an IT nerd by day and fairly friendly happy person, moved to Melbourne from Perth and love it here. Love boardgames & books and all things Sci-Fi. I am fairly quiet & keep to myself most days, and always clean and tidy. I like to get along with most people and see myself as a fairly friendly sociable person. I'm currently living in Preston, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
I'm David from China, currently studying at Melbourne University as a fulltime PhD student with full scholarship. I'm a polite, quiet, easygoing bookworm, urgently looking for a place for long-term stay(over 6 months). If the place could be available by 31 July, that would be perfect. I was working for Morgan Stanley as a software engineer before coming to Melbourne, and my English is fairly fluent. I'll alway respect your privacy and pay the rent on time.
Hi there, I'm Mei, from China, a current student at university of Melbourne and my major is environmental science. I'm an outgoing and warmhearted person, always willing to give a helping hand but I respect privacy and your own space as well. I love to tidy and clean room on a regular basis to keep the room liveable. I prefer no smoker at home because of allergy. I am an energetic sports lover, good at hiking, swimming, running, cycling, skiing, table tennis and badmiton and interested in other kinds of sports such as tennis and Aussie Footy so I can also play sports with you, my future flatmates. I am also a book lover so you can have a talk with me to exchange reading experience. I have a commuting bike currently and need a small space to place it. I usually cook by myself and willing to share. Also, I'm willing to communicate with others. In terms of the room, I prefer a room with a bed (any size), a table, and a wardrobe which are enough for me. By the way, a window would be necessary. Either a sharing bathroom or my own bathroom is acceptable but it should be clean all the time. My current roomates feed two cats and I love pets but I dont plan to have any pets with me. The most importantly, I hope my future flatmates are nice, kind, respectful and clean people.
I work most of the time, I will be traveling to Newcastle every 2nd weekend to see my family. I rarely drink alcohol and I don't do drugs. I'm relatively quiet, I'm a car enthusiast and love working on them in my spare time. I'm currently living in my car and using truck stops for the amenities.
Hi! Im Esther I’m from New Zealand and have been in melbourne 3 years I've lived with friends during my time here. I’m environmentally conscious, love socialising, cooking (Previously studied cookery at Cornell insitute NZ so thoroughly enjoy cooking on a daily basis,😉) and im a huge fine wine fan. My situation...I’m currently working in hospo so I work most weekends and I study at the Melbourne Fashion Institute 2 days a week therefore I’m looking for a room to rent with fun and friendly people who love food and enjoying the wonders of Melbourne.
Hi, there. I am Hiromi from Japan, in Vocational School and having 2 part-time jobs. I am hardly at home all day but I would like to stay in my room quietly when I have a time. However, I am happy to occasional chat or party if it happens in a house. I love keeping my room and house clean but not super obsessed cleaning. I am looking for somewhere easy to access Richmond and Brunswick, prefer a private room with furnished and a own bathroom is the best but sharing a bathroom with maximum 3 people include me is also good. I will be here in Melbourne for 11 months, moving in date is flexible between 21st July and 5th August. I smoke but of course not in the room. I am happy if there is a balcony or a door that I could get out without bothering other people. For the last thing, I am afraid of animals, so no pet place. Thank you Hiromi
Im relocating from Adelaide to work for a city based company as a cost consultant. Down to earth, tidy and respectful. Enjoy trying out new places to eat, grab a good coffee, and relaxing at home. Love/hate feels with gym. Open minded to meeting new people. Travel when time and finances permit.
Originally from Manchester in the UK. I have moved to Melbourne to work as a GP Doctor. I work in Prahran. Already know a few friends in and around Melbourne, and my brother lives in Carlton North, where I am currently staying. I am very easy-going and laid-back, love socialising, enjoy sport and running. I have lived in shares before in the UK and whilst I would like to be friends with housemates and hopefully socialise together, I am quite an independent person, and I fully respect and understand the need for people’s person space! Also, love to travel, enjoy holidays and weekends away.
Hey! We’re a couple from the U.K and we’ve spent the past 8 months travelling through Europe and Asia before landing in Melbourne a few weeks ago. Jordon works in marketing and Sam works as a web/graphic designer. We’re clean, tidy and respectful, we love to cook, travel, cycle and socialise. We’re looking for a place to call home :)
Hey there, we are 2 easy going, fun loving backpackers from England. Looking for 2 rooms around the wonderful Melbourne. We are clean, tidy and respect other peoples space. However enjoy spending time with our flatmates, having a few beers and a laugh :)
I am a (local) fulltime PhD student (psychology), researching virtual reality. As such, I spend much of my home time studying/writing/reading. I enjoy cooking. Non-smoker and looking for a non-smoking house/unit. I don't party/entertain but do enjoy good conversation and social interaction with flatmates. Apart from study, I work part-time, enjoy photography, music and movies. My creative past-times are fairly quiet (e.g., editing photos on laptop). Ideally looking to share with like-minded people 30+ (professionals or students; any gender; LGBT welcome). Need a room that will accomodate a queen size bed and writing desk. Internet is essential and would prefer bills (some or all) included, though not essential. Will consider each property on its own merrits, so please get in touch.
Hiya! I'm Katie and I work as an advertising creative. I'm 30 years old - almost 31 and slightly freaking out about it - and I can cook a pretty mean arrabiata (oh yes, it's spicy). Moved here from Sydney over a year ago for work, and am totally a Melbourne convert. PROS: Can cook, loves a good netflix binge, knows how to use a vacuum, and is rather fond of tasty vino. What I'm looking for: A house I can call home, with fun people who don't mind a low-key drink and a chat! I also have a car so will need a space to park it, whether it be an undercover, or on the street.
tidy and easy going, friendly, love people, and respect each others privacy. I have traveled quite a fair bit around Australia, and love art and culture. Seeking a place to stay preferably near Melbourne City or up to 30mins travelling time away from the city. Would love to hear from my future housemate! :)
I am looking for a place that is hopefully pet friendly. my partner and i are clean and tidy, i am a student studying arts/law and a PA, my partner works as a labourer . I am in my mid twenties looking for long term accomodation. Marianna
Hi Alana and Jess, Looking for a home that is not just a sharehouse, but a space where I feel like I am coming home to a family of sorts, can share in wine/dinners/laughs and just chill out. In saying that, I also value my independence and there are some days where work is tough and I just want to come home and not have to talk about my day. I value respect and honesty, and an open home where people feel comfortable to talk about issues. I have a beautiful all-creatures-friendly pooch named Bernard, he is extremely well house trained and comes with sensational references. Ideally a home with people who will love and treat him like the ants pants. Definitely looking long term, don't want to have to move again for a long time. I like to get out of the city on weekends and explore/go hiking with Bernie, go camping or just get away with friends/go wine it up with friends I work as a psychologist at the Drug Court in the CBD. Hoping to eventually work in social policy so I can contribute to social justice from a legislative perspective. I love what I do and I am really passionate about encouraging tolerance and respect in the community.
I’m currently living the 9-5 life and I’m looking for a place to call home the rest of the time. Pros + I like to keep myself and my living space clean. + I’m the perfect Netflix binge companion. I’m happy to socialise with flatmates but I also understand the need for personal time. Cons - I’m too funny. You might just find yourself laughing too much 😁
Hi I recently graduated and begun working full time 9-5 in St Kilda, so looking for a place near there. Grew up in Melbourne but just got back from living abroad for 8 months so have experience (short but still) sharing a space with others. I'm clean, friendly, respectful of privacy but also very laid back, I'm not bothered by a few dishes and I'm willing to share food/everything etc :)
We are a couple in our twenties from the UK on a working holiday visa. We're looking to move into a flat share or shared house from early September 2018 for around three months. We are friendly, easygoing, responsible, clean and tidy. We enjoy socialising but aren't big party people. I speak Italian and some French. Bills and internet included would be preferable but not essential. Non smoking and no pets preferred due to allergies.
