Hi there! My name is Sharla I'm 22 and currently working 6-7 days a week supporting children who have disabilities. I love my work but I will be heading back to uni to start a degree in paramedics. I'm pretty easy going, house trained and love to keep the place tidy. I'm not too much of a partier but love having friends to chill. Let me know if I'd be well suited for your lovely home 🙂 I need to move asap as I currently don't have a permanent home! Thanks :)
I'm a 32 year old Pilates instructor and lapsed graphic designer who has recently moved home to suffocating, small town Brisbane after a 3.5 year stint in London. I'm an easy going kinda gal into all the usual things such as art, music, travel, food, wine, dogs, hating Trump etc etc. I'm looking to find some easy going, like minded housemates who may turn into some great pals or at least acquaintances that know how to use a sponge. I'm also good with a sponge, can whip up a Pescatarian friendly meal, pet friendly (dog obsessed) very independent and happy to do my own thing but always up for a wine/beer/cuppa and a chat. My wild party days are well and truly behind me but love a good gathering of friendly folk. I'm also up for a bit of culture, op shopping, road trips...and have a functioning vehicle in order to make this happen. Would love to discover all the best bits of Melbourne and also go exploring a little further so if you'd like to come along there's always room in my car (even if the ceiling is falling in on me) Anyhoo if you'd like to know more please feel to get in touch. Looking forward to meeting my new Flatmates one day soon! Luisa :)
My name is Nicole and I work full-time in Digital Content in Fashion. I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane after graduating from uni a year ago. I have fallen in love with the northside having lived in Northcote for the past year and would like to find another place in the area. I'm a super social person but working full-time I keep normal hours on weeknights, going out to the occasional dinner with friends and the movies. But on the weekend I like to go out a bit, I love music so I see a lot of gigs and go to the occasional festival (Meredith/GP that kinda thing), have a bit of a boogie, socialise with friends, hit the Fitzroy markets and the Fitzroy pool on a hot summer's day. I love to cook and during the week I'd be happy to share a few meals. If you're looking for someone fun, tidy, outgoing and house-trained I'm your gal!
Hi, Xavier here. I'm 22 years of age and have recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand. I finished a design degree last year and have experience working in libraries. I would love to be considered by an inclusive/queer-friendly household looking for someone new to fill a room. I am tidy, considerate and enjoy conversation while also being content with my own space and respectful of yours. Generally enjoy a quiet lifestyle. Very into reading, club music and nature.
We are both very respectful happy go lucky down to earth people looking to share or team up with anyone. Very neat and tidy and always clean up after ourselfs. Often like to head out and about but when we are home love nothing more then to chill on the couch watching a movie. We aren't the biggest cooks bUT I can make a mean chicken snitzel and your welcome to join :p We are both originally from the country I'm from mildura and lyndon is from shepparton. I do have a house in bendigo but we both need to be in the city for work. Lyndon runs his own charity called eat up. I help him with this as we make alot a sandwiches for primary school children who would otherwise go with and hold regular sessions to make them. I am a freelance hairdresser and also travel back to bendigo to do clients down there 3 days a week. Cheers !

And again because I can't hear anything so I will be sorry because I can be loud without realise myself like walk very loud.. You can tell me off :) I don't have OCD but I don't like clean people's messy. I like do my own chores and privacy too. I have badly allergic with cats so if you already have one please dont contact me.. I don't want sneeze all the time. I am dog person :)
I am an international exchange student from the USA. I am super flexible and helpful when it comes to cleaning up around the living area. I have a very open mind to all religions, sexual orientations, political status, and other ways of life. I don't smoke and I enjoy animals. I love to exercise, play sports, hike outdoors, listen to music, watch live theatre, create art, and relax with some beer and wine! Cooking and baking are also on my list of skills.
Nursing student at LaTrobe university, works 2 jobs. Looking for some nice housemates that can be a bit social but also I enjoy my alone time. I Enjoy outings & a bit of fun. Looking for a place that also includes rent as I don't really have that much money.
Hi all! So I'm 23, from Israel just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I spent the last five months traveling around Asia (India-China-Vietnam-Cambodia) Looking to settle down here for a few months to save up a bit. Working in hospitality. I enjoy cooking - not an amazing cook but I do love exploring and learning new things - and planning to do lots of it seeing how in the past five months I was eating out. I love music especially indie and folk and enjoy just chilling with others trading new songs and artists. I'd like to share a house with flatmates that occasionally get together for a house meal or a beer at the end of the day.
Hey there! My name is Tegan. I'm 22 years old and am moving to Melbourne from Bendigo in order to study at La Trobe Bundoora. I am also currently completing my Certs III and VI in Fitness to allow me to work as a personal trainer :) I am super friendly and am quiet when going about my own thing but enjoy hanging out as well 😊
Single female working, respect people's privacy and property. Looking to share a 3 or more bedroom house with one other person. I have a beautiful 5 years indoor cat who is very shy but well behaved. prefer someone who would like to team up
I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I play guitar and bass and have a few musical projects on the go at any time. Sometimes I go busking in the CBD and play gigs with a band. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I'm keen to team up with people who are looking for a new house. Ideally we'd all be creatively swayed into different artistic disciplines so we can bounce ideas off each other. Looking for people who would be interested in getting involved in multi-disciplinary collaborative projects and who would want to keep the house as an evolving entity. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me. She's a nutter at times (mostly dinner times) but is super affectionate and independent.
Hey! we are Emma (24) and Craig (24) both from sunny Glasgow, Scotland and having recently graduated from university, decided to up sticks and move down under. (we plan to be in Melbourne for the next 6-12 months) We are easy-going, sociable people keen to explore Melbourne and get to know what it has to offer. We are house trained, can keep a flat clean and tidy and we both love a glass of wine/night out now and again but are not the 4am party every weekend type. We also both love animals and would be more than happy to share a home with any number of four legged creatures. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you :) Emma and Craig
Hello - looking for a social, eco inclined, likeminded household to join. Preferably with a nice garden I could contribute to. Originally from Sydney I've been in Melb for a bit over 7 years. I've settled into a nice circle of friends and community and feel like a naturalised creature of the inner north. I'm sociable, enjoy passing time with new and amusing people, but I am also pretty independent and am happy doing my own thing too. I love music. Both listening and playing a bit of guitar (generally along a folk/indie/country vibe) - more for therapeutic reasons than seriously. Cycling is a passion. I commute by bike but also like to disappear for hours on rides out in the hills. I also play soccer regularly. I try to have a creative projects going although at the moment it doesn't seem to much more than the compiling of lists, such are the demands of wage slavery. I'm also on a bit of a reading bender at the moment. I'm a keen gardener and at a minimum I'm worm farming with kitchen scraps and herb growing. I also come with a dwarf lemon tree, a kumquat tree and a bay tree. I cook a lot. And I love eating food. I manage my own fodder but I'm happy to fling a meal out to an unmotivated or tired fellow human from time to time. I consider myself a Veganesque-Garbagitarian - meaning, I don't intentionally eat animal things but am pretty relaxed about it, and don't like to waste. I don't care what others eat. But this is the kind of food I tend to put into my belly I have minimalist and frugal living inclinations, aiming to produce rather than just consume. Left leaning too, if that isn't already obvious. None of this should really impact on you - but it might be interesting to know. I do like to watch occasional television series, but tend to hide in bed with a laptop and binge when I do A house with the telly on nonstop would be a real drag. A drink? Every now and then? Don't mind if I do. But not suckling from a goon bag or passing out anymore. I'm an animal lover - so would be happy to become pals with your animals if you have any. In the past I've been friends with a Goldfish, a German Shepard, and 3 female rats (sisters). No pets now sadly. I've recently downsized all my things so have few items of furniture. However I have a keen and patient eye for vintage and tasteful ebay bargains so could help with furnishings over time. I clean up common areas like bathrooms and kitchens as I use them, so they are nice for the next person - and would prefer to live with others who have the same approach. I have lived alone in the past and during that time it was fun to see how many dishes you could stack into the sink before washing - but thankfully when share housing I'm far more civilised. I love dishwashers. I like to think that they love me back I am looking for mature, responsible and fun social peeps to live with. Social but also independent. Clean and tidy, and considerate. Intelligent chit chats, viewing the world with a critical and compassionate eye. Eco aware. A good sense of humour would be ideal. I think this possibly describes what everyone is looking for? I'm also looking for a quieter abode to be able to have a rest from the world, rather than a party house. I currently work as lawyer/policy person for a not-for-profit in the media sector, although I'm shortly going to be freelance. I have other income producing projects so paying rent and bills will never be a problem, but while I'm currently a 9-5-er, I won't be for much longer and would like to work from home occasionally. I hope the thumbnail sketch above of where i'm at and what my interests and motivations are may give you some idea of who I'm looking to live with. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for TWO rooms - a bedroom and an additional sunroom/study/studio/shed from which I could teach singing students 3 days a week. Please do not contact me if your place doesn't have this possibility! and PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOUR PLACE IS OUTSIDE OF MY LISTED AREAS. I am not interested. Read below for more details... My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing and speech (but mostly singing) 3 days a week. I work 1 day a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!), 2 nights a week at Open Studio in Northcote, am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here and there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook and eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk and teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $230 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week.
Hello! I just moved back to Melbourne from New York to begin a postgraduate degree in Psychology. I grew up in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. I have travelled quite a lot, but I promise not to talk about it too much. I have lived in Istanbul and New York (and Brisbane!). I try to lead a fairly healthy life. I like to read books and ride bikes and go camping and watch movies and stand-up comedy and cook and listen to music and dance in a David Byrne kind of a way. I'd like to live in a place that feels like a home, where people hang out and chat and sometimes cook and eat together, but also respect each other's privacy and desire to sometimes be alone to watch golden age TV shows. Please get in touch if you think we can make this work!
Looking to move from the outer suburbs to be close to the city for uni and work. I am clean, tidy, quiet, organised, and very easy to get along with. I'm interested in many things so finding common ground wouldn't be difficult. I love music and play the guitar. Always up for some FIFA, movies, TV binge and I love cooking. Interested in popular culture and politics, and am always keen for a good discussion! Looking for a nice room with great flatmates.
Hey legends. Here's me at 33, trying to settle down, appreciate the small things, ya know? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a drink and a sick party on the weekends but I'm more likely to find salvation in the pages of a book, the midst of a conversation or a meal on the stove than at the bottom of a bottle on a Tuesday night. I work 4 days a week as a web developer but I still harbour secret thoughts that the book I wrote last year will spark into a career as a journalist - that's what my fifth day is for - writing.
My name is Alexia, I have just moved from Sydney to Melbourne and am looking for a share-house apartment. I am starting up a graphic design course here so I will be studying as well as working here. I am a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys keeping fit, cooking and socialising.
Looking for a comfortable and relaxing place walking/bus/biking distance to La Trobe University as I will be beginning my studies for Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery. I am mature, clean and respectful. I am wanting to find a place where I can feel at home and potentially make new friends. I enjoy exploring, red wine, board games and the occasional boogie on a weekend. Would love to find a housemate who could show me around Melbourne to all the great bars and restaurants!
We're from Brazil, Elisa (35) and Natacha (31). We study and work most of the time. Elisa studies Horticulture and I'm study Project Management. Easy-going, friendly, open-minded, clean and enjoy make gardens.
I work full time as a Factory Hand and also am a professional musician of a night time! Because of this I am out of the house a lot, I pride myself on being extremely tidy, friendly and respectful to everybody around me and have had great experiences when it comes to shared accom! I also own a little kitten who is so well behaved - it's not funny! I'm originally from the west - and want to stay in either the west or the north and yeah that's about it! I would love somewhere stable to keep my routine up and be secure!
Hello. My name is Monique and I am 29 years old. I am a primary school teacher at a language school in Collingwood. When I am not working I love being active and outdoors. On the weekends I enjoy cycling along the Yarra or going to the Botanic gardens. When I can, I enjoy camping or hiking and I try to get away somewhere each year on my school holidays. On the weekends I enjoy heading out for a nice meal, going to markets or just relaxing at home watching movies and cooking. I am also hoping to take latin dancing classes this year!
I'm a PhD student in Applied Economics and I will spend 6 months at Victoria University, Centre of Policy Studies as a Visiting Research. I'm an easy-going and organized person - really easy to get along with. I'm looking for a place with friendly people who likes a little chat and drinks in free time, but also respect the private moments. I like sports, cooking and get out for music, chats and shots as well..
I am a left-leaning, musically-interested, social and occasionally studious mid-twenties female looking for a fun, but tidy share-house in central Melbourne. I like good chats, loud music and cold beers. I just moved from Brisbane to finish a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. I've been studying on and off for the last five years, having already completed a BA in Creative and Professional Writing, an Honours thesis concentrated in Literary Studies, and started a Master of Arts at the University of Queensland. Although I am fairly studious and busy during the week, I like to socialise on the weekends by going to gigs, sampling delicious beers and op-shopping. I enjoy reading, writing (obviously), music and photography. I also collect vinyls and will be sending down a vinyl player/large vinyl collection once I've got a place. I have worked as an ESL teacher for the past two years and I'm currently looking for casual teaching work. Your real estate can contact my real estate for a reference. I'm happy to pay three months rent up front. I have also lived in China, where I worked as an English teacher with kids, and I have lived and studied in Japan as an undergraduate. I am thus very open-minded to different cultures and lifestyles. If you like the sounds of any of this feel free to send me a message. I'm looking for a large private room as I would like to set up a desk for studying. I also need lots of storage space for my ridiculously large wardrobe of vintage and Japanese fashion (which I am happy to share if you're my size!). I have two couches, a washing machine, a brand new fridge, a two-seater dining set, a six seater dining set, coffee table...pretty much everything! It's all in storage at the moment at my parents' house and I'm happy to leave it there or send it down. I am also looking at vacant two/three bedroom properties on the Northside and possibly applying for a property by myself. So if you're in the same boat as me and looking for shared accommodation in a nice house in a centrally located suburb, feel to send me a message. You must be open-minded, house-trained and LGTB /420 friendly, and ideally within the age bracket of 20-30.
Hi, I'm a student about to go into my second year of my bachelor of fine arts. As a housemate I'm generally very quiet and clean, but love cooking (not just for myself but for others). I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Also, I come with many houseplants. I'd love to live with other people involved in the arts, or other students but this isn't a necessity!
I'm Ben, 23, often described as being loveable. I love hanging out and I'm quite respectful and clean. If you're looking for someone to go to gigs with and all round cultural events or even just have a drink and chat I'm always happy to oblige. I also come equip with various instruments, video game consoles, a washing machine and microwave, so fun times for all!

Working full-time at Collingwood atm. Going to be RMIT nursing student in July 2017. I am a clean, cheerful, considerate, respectful person who cares about the privacy of others. I have been living by myself for 7 years, so I am independent and is a type that will "clean my own mess". I love dogs! I like cooking, swimming and watching movies. I am not a party animal, but a drink or chat is great. I am looking for a place where has air-con(must!), windows(must!), near tram/train station, tidy, clean, and comfortable to live. I don't mind doing housework on a schedule/roaster basis.
Hi, I'm Maya. I'm an exchange student studying at the University of Melbourne this year. I have been working as an intern for a film production company in Sydney over the summer but I have recently moved back to Melbourne to continue my studies. I'm from England and I am 20 years old. I am studying Theology and I love making films.
Hi! My name is Miki and I am from Tokyo, currently on a working holiday visa. I started living in shared housing in university and have never stopped since! I have lived in university dorms, shared flats, and most recently a 30 person share house in Tokyo. I've really enjoyed the balance of having a room to myself while always having the option to talk to someone after a long day, instead of just coming home to an empty apartment. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits, baking, playing cards and board games, and finding fun things to do around the city (especially if they are free!).
My girlfriend and I are currently living in SE Melbourne. Our lease is expiring on the 6th of March and we are looking to find a Short Term Stay for a month, maybe 2 while we find another place. We would be looking to move in over the weekend of the 4-5th March and are not overly fussed about the location. We are a clean, easy going, friendly couple. We both work full time Monday - Friday. Steph is a Primary School Teacher, and I work in Marketing. We are always up for a chat and a laugh and enjoy meeting new people. If you think that you could help us out please feel free to get in touch. Cheers guys, Brad and Steph
I am a 34 year old full-time working Architect, non-smoker, quiet introvert type but enjoy making new friends and socialising in small groups. I'm very respectful, responsible and relaxed. My interests are food, coffee, travelling, design, art, amateur/hobby photography, watching sports (footy and tennis are my favs), movies and somewhat trashy tv. Seeking a small clean household preferably in the inner north, with cool people who are happy to share the occasional meal and/or drinks. Thanks!!
Hi, my name is Dave, and I am looking for a studio, 1 bedroom apartmment, granny flat long term (12 mths or more). I am 35 yrs old, work in Pascoe Vale for a medical company. During the week I tend to stay at home apart from thursday nights for cricket training. If I do go out on a weekend I do not bring the party home. Happy to meet up for coffee so you I can ask a few questions, as I'm sure you'd like to ask me some. Cheers
Hello! We are an active and outdoorsy couple looking for a home during our working/holiday stay in Melbourne. We moved from Colorado USA where we rock climbed and snowboarded quite often. Now we are looking for our next hobby to enjoy the outdoors in Australia! We are easy roomies keeping it clean and being respectful for sure. The biggest things we are looking for are fun roomies who want to share time together even if its just beers on the porch. We certainly like our reading times as well. Public transport biking and access to fun neighborhoods is essential! Cant wait to meet everyone! Oli and J
I'm a 35yo freelancer writer/journalist who gets to work from home every Monday, which is probably my dream job I reckon. I also work part-time Tuesday to Friday in a media communications role for a large international non-government org, which is another dream job actually. So kicking goals. To complete the picture, I'm on the hunt for a great place to call home in Thornbury area or surrounding suburbs which can accommodate me and my four-year-old cat, who is probably the most beautiful ragdoll you've ever seen. Ragdolls as a breed are quite unique as far as cats go - they are very fond of humans, incredibly placid and affectionate, non-arrogant, relaxed animals - a bit more like a (super chilled out) dog in the way they like humans in fact. I’ve had housemates who say initially they're not fond of cats completely change their tune after living with him- to the point they would consider getting a cat like him! In short, he's a great addition to a household. Clean, litter trained and all that. He also loves the outdoors, so I'm looking for somewhere with a backyard. I'm definitely the less chilled out of the two of us (what with the journalism and deadlines and all) so to balance it out I'm often busy weekday evenings with dance classes (doubles as my main form of fitness these days) in the evenings and regular catch ups with friends. I've got plenty of close friends in the area, so I'd be hoping to find somewhere that can comfortably accommodate me having the odd night on the couch with some wine and my girlfriends (read: supremely talented women and completely amazing humans). I've lived in rental share houses (and with complete strangers) all my adult life and I’m an excellent housemate, I just know how it works. My current living situation is also pretty cosy, I'm living in a private rental (my landlord is seriously amazing) near Fairfield with four others who all get along, it's a beautiful big house and I'll be sad to leave. Happy in a share house where everyone functions fairly independently of each other, but still likes catching up every now and then. If any of this sounds like a good fit, get in touch!
Hi guys I'm looking for a room to rent in the north, preferably near the tram 86 line as I'm a media studies student at RMIT. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, full time student. Im quiet, easy going, down to earth and easy to get along with. I get along with everyone. I'm friendly with a good sense of humor. My idea of fun is going to uni and study. I am very much into fitness, I play netball and always exercising jogging or swimming in my spare time. Also enjoy going to the movie's. Shopping, going out for dinner/lunch at restaurants and cafes, going away, and meeting new people.
I am Marcus, a 26 almost 27 year old Australian. I was born in Melbourne and have lived here most of my life - except for 6 months in Canada and 2 years living in Ireland. Having recently returned to Australia to lay some roots down, I am now looking to move out into the outer city suburbs to make it easier to get to work and to be in amongst this great city. I am an English language teacher working in the CBD on weekdays (9am-3pm), and in the evening and on weekends I like to work on my writing. I value my own space and independence, but I also love socialising with people as long as they are genuine and easy-going. I would like to live with people who respect the space of others while at the same time enjoying hanging out occasionally. I'm not after a "full-on" party household, but am keen for hanging out with glasses of wine, food and chats. I would enjoy living with others who are in their later 20's who want a mature and "got-their-shit-together" type to join their pad. My main hobbies include reading, writing, photography (medium format film), and going to the cinema. I love visiting Nova Cinema, the Astor, and the Kino in the city and try to go once a week (minimum). I'm also a voracious music lover and have it on most of the time. Expect to hear me singing along to Jens Lekman or Kings of Convenience at some point! I would be after a non-furnished room in a cosy house with lots of light. The vibe is important for me. I also want a room big enough for my bed, a desk, and all my books. In terms of furniture/stuff I can bring with me, I have a large record collection and a quality Rega record player + Peterson 170 watt speakers + Sherwood stereo system that I am willing to bring to my new potential house, given there is room. :)
25. I work full time in construction. Clean, friendly and environmentally conscious. Grew up overseas but born here and have lived in Melbourne for the last 15 years. Well travelled, and easy to get along with. I like getting out and trying different things, just started rock climbing (indoor - I'm terrible) but most days I head to the yoga studio before or after work.
I'm Conni, a 24 year old geology/environmental studies postgraduate student at melbourne university. I've had experience living with all sort of different people in Germany as well as London so I know how things are workingin a great shared house ;) I'm from Germany and I will stay for one year. I am creative, crazy, very thoughtful and very fun to hang out with and I like a good laugh. I have probably read about 5000 books but you will get the biggest nonsense out of me (you don't even have to try very hard). I like to play a bit on my Ukulele and I love all kind of arts, individuality and people who do things their way! I'm kind of nerdy when it comes to Geology and Arts and books. But always easy to get along with and interested in all sort of stuff - especially people and music. When I manage to do some outdoor activity I am really excited about it! That includes skiing, climbing, hiking, ... travelling too. If nature is to far away, I try to ignore that by doing a lot of work out in a park/beach/playground/... I'm a vegeterian and I like to keep kitchen and bathroom clean.
Hey I'm 25, looking for a chilled and sociable place to live, ideally long term. I work full time but definitely like to make the most of my days off and it would be great to find some house mates who like to hang out occasionally/have dinner or drinks together. Of course considerate of other peoples space and pull my weight with cleaning etc. I'm pretty artistic, really in to music and love going to festivals, travelling and exploring the delights of Melbourne i.e drinking too much coffee, going to galleries, chilling in the park, beaching etc. x
I solo travelled all last year around Europe and Morocco and now i've come back home to live, work and study Spanish, in hopes that I can travel back to Spain at the end of the year. I love sharing a house with others, you get a nice community feeling which is something I really miss from travelling. I've been told i'm warm natured, mature minded with a natural sense of empathy and I'm often known for my smile. I've lived in shared situations before and believe that I'm tidy and extremely respectful of other people's space. My preferred housemate is someone I can enjoy a meal with occasionally and talk to every now and again. Although I enjoy a good conversation I also can be introverted and like spending time with myself reading, creating or just relaxing in the garden.
As a mature girl, I'm clean and pretty quiet. I respect your personal life but I'm also friendly enough to share daily conversations. I'm not a party maniac but I know when to have fun. Beside working part-time as a barista and study hospitality management, I like fitness so I try to workout and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Hi I'm Romany. I'm 25 (but very mature for my age - not to sound wanky) and studying screen and media production at RMIT. My main interests are film (hence film school) and music so I tend to spend a lot of time at the cinema and gigs around Melbourne. But I'm also really into health and sustainable living, travel, drinking tea and chilling out and contemplating the world. I also love animals and have been a vegetarian since I was 14. I'm looking for a more mature and respectful sharehouse, as I tend to prefer relaxing and watching a bit of Netflix with a nice dinner over partying every weekend. I've lived in sharehouses for the last 6 years so I'm very used to how things go when it comes to shared living. I'm a fairly social person, so prefer living in a 'home' rather than just a place that people eat and sleep. I love the community feel of a sharehouse and chilling with housemates when the mood strikes, but also very respectful of the fact that everybody needs their independent/alone time, especially when things get busy with uni and work. I'm clean and tidy and can bring with me a gorgeous old 70s style three seater couch, plus a TV and DVD collection. I also ran my previous sharehouse for 18 months so I'm almost pathologically punctual when it comes to paying rent and bills on time. I'm not in a rush to find a new place, so above all I'm looking for a place that feels like the right fit. Send me a message if you think we might get along!
I'm 26 years old, and I work full-time in communications/copywriting. I love cooking (vegetarian), writing (and any other creative pursuits really) and exploring Melbourne. I'm also a huge animal lover and volunteer as a penguin guide at St Kilda every couple of weeks. I returned to Australia last year from a few years in London so I'm spending a lot of time exploring my home country again. I'd love to live with some like-minded, friendly, creative people who are up for sharing a wine/coffee together from time to time. I'm a neat and tidy housemate and respectful of everyone I live with. Please get in touch if you think I'd be a good fit! x Briony
Hello! I work in hospitality and I've just moved to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, so I'm pretty chill and considerate of other people's needs. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will likely be late. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I've lived with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move in sooner rather than later, but I'm fairly flexible.
I am looking for a fully furnished studio or small apartment with own bathroom. I work full time in clifton hill not far from the clifton hill station so I would like to be only a few minutes from a rail station. I am a kiwi in Australia indefinitely and would consider taking over a lease if suitable also. I do not have a car so no parking is required although I do have my own drivers license. Am a non smoker and enjoy others company. always up for a beer or wine.
Hi there! We are couple that met while traveling over a year ago from Scotland and the US. We are relocating to Melbourne as I found a job in the CBD. We are excited to settle for a bit and look forward to making Melbourne our home away from home. We're friendly, easy-going, and respectful people. We're both clean and tidy. We love the outdoors and hope for a nice backyard or courtyard to spend some time in. We have lived together before as well as in a multitude of share houses and living environments. We are happy to socialize with a couple drinks, or share a cup of tea and some biscuits. We also tend to keep busy reading, working, or being outdoors. Give us a shout if you have a room available for a couple. We are looking to stay long term in Melbourne; but, want to sign up for a shorter stay (4-6 months) at first, before committing to a place for a year or more. We look forward to hearing from you, getting to know the people, and of course the city.
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 21st of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi everyone, I'm a 25 year old student from Germany who just arrived in Melbourne. I'll be staying until July for studying at RMIT University. Currently, I'm searching for accommodation around Melbourne CBD (max distance 30-45mins by tram). I'm interested into good food, coffee, movies, photography and sports. Soial flat-share or house-share mates are preferred.
Hey future housemates, I am a sharehouse fan, I have lived in Melbourne with 2-5 other people for the last 5 years. I like to share a meal together now and then and do my own thing sometimes, whatever really. I work full-time in the city Monday-Friday and spend a fair bit of time on road trips/out of the house on weekends. Hobby-wise I am a coffee obsessive, and will likely have one in my hand when I'm at home! I am a pretty clean person and am happy to keep the house as tidy as everyone feels like. That's about it really, looking forward to meeting you! Tom
