We are an easygoing couple from Adelaide who have newly arrived in Melbourne to take up a professional opportunity. We like eating out, sleeping in, and seeing the sights. We are highly responsible, organised and super~friendly.
G'day potential new housemates! A bit about me. I'm 28 and I work in financial planning in the CBD. I'm a maccas chicken nuggets connerseiour, enjoy an alcoholic beverage, tend to OD on chilli sauce, I play soccer, watch Marvel movies and Netflix kick backs. I've lived with both male and female housemates before so I know the drill. I like keeping things neat and tidy but I don't have OCD. Always respectful of the people I live with. Currently living alone but landlord selling the house so keen to live with housemates again. Always down to hang out with my housemates for some trash tv, Netflix or an alcoholic beverage. I come with stuff for my room but also a fridge, microwave, rice cooker, conventional oven and air fryer (which makes the best potato gems). Looking forward to finding some awesome housemates to live with!
Hi there moving to melbourne early dec, with my small quiet dog Any suburb close to trains/ tram prefer to live with 1 other person only i’m more of a homebody not into partying. please msg me if you can help 🏠
Im a kind person, I dont party ofen (really at all) so you wont have to worry about me coming home late. I’m very passionate about writing and reading and filmaking. I am from Perth, but I am moving to Melbourne in 2019 for university. For fun I like going out into the city and just exploring, I like collecting books, and learning about the universe, as well as jam out to music and watch movies with mates. I am a transgender guy, although I dont see how that would affect me as an individual. I like to keep to myself sometimes but most of the time I like to hang out and do stuff with others. I like to cook and garden and would like to grow my own veggies if there’s room!
Hello! My name is Rory. I'm looking for a private room to rent in a sharehouse for 2019. In 2019, I'll be completing my final year of my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, with double majors in history and philosophy. As a person, I am conscientious, respectful and tidy, but also love great discussions and having fun (responsibly). My interests are broadly in the humanities, particularly - as my studies suggest - in history and philosophy, but also including politics, literature and other topics. I also really enjoy nature, and love to take long walks to reflect on things and appreciate natural beauty. I'd love to hear from you if I sound like the type of housemate suitable for your sharehouse.
Im Oliver from Malaysia. Im a student studying in RMIT, I would like to rent a private room. I love to binge watch Netflix and workout during my free time, pretty chilled and very accommodating person since I've lived with different people before. During weekends, I mostly stay in, workout or hangout with mates and clubbing once in a while ( Im not really a big party animal). Deffo will take the initiative to clean up the place and respect people's privacy ( I mean it is a basic rule living with someone right? ) just set the boundaries and we are good to go. I intend to stay for 1-2 years and I have no problems with bills and rents, in fact I pay on time. Im friendly, extra and crazy ( if you know me well ), like to drink especially whiskey, a big foodie ( A big fan of brunch, desserts ), listens to different genres of music eg: Jazz, Pop, Indie Pop. I've lived with professionals in the past like Chefs and Hair dressers and we became best friends so I don't think I have problems living with professionals. I just put 13 of Jan as for moving date just for the profile as it is negotiable and i'm flexible with the moving in dates, as long as I move in before 27th of Jan cause im going back to Malaysia for a short holiday. Don't worry, I'll still pay the rent. Cant wait to meet my future flatmate and a comfortable place for the next 1-2 years.
I am a great person to live with because I am a fun friendly clean and tidy, 22 year old kiwi girl I love meeting new people and making friends, im not loud I will help out around the house also, always up for a movie night or a few drinks on the weekend and I am very relaxed.I do like going out for a few drinks and having a party but I am respectable about it. I work as a beauty advisor at Benefit cosmetics and only moved to Melbourne in March and have fell in love with the place.
So there is 2 of us looking for a place to live, not a couple. We would rather a place to ourselves as we know each other well and are comfortable. All wanting our own room and not sharing rooms. All working and on a working holiday visa. Me and James have seen majority of Australia so we are very much settled to work now. All very clean - me a little OCD but not annoyingly - , have previous house shared before.
I'm a young professional working as a consultant in banking. When I'm not at work, I'm either at the gym, going out for drives (car enthusiast!), watching netflix or having a beer with the mates. I'm a fairly sociable person, but I also respect privacy. I've got a great sense of humour (or at least I think so????); I whip up delicious pasta and mean curries every now and then, if I can find the time for it. I have a tech education background - so can fix your computer (extra points?)! I moved out of home fairly young; which means I've certainly learnt to look after myself and keep a clean and tidy house. Saving up for a house of my own at the moment, with a plan to purchase one in 2020. Hence, looking for a place to crash until then, and potentially meet some good mates in the process. I've got family in the Albion / Cairnlea area - so my preference is to stay close to them in the West.
Hey! How are you? My name is Raquel, I'm Brazilian and I'm looking for a nice place, with good energy to live! I'm living in North Melbourne in an amazing house, but the landlord decided to use the house, then we have to move. My flatmate is going to live with his girlfriend, so I need to find a new place! :) I'm journalist, I did a Master's in Social Media, I love culture, travel, TEDx, photography, entrepreneurship, etc! My routine is pretty busy, working with Marketing and studying International Business. During my free time I love dancing Forró, meeting friends and I want to start a nice routine working out :) I'm looking for a calm house, without parties and with a nice flatmate! I'm more than happy sharing the responsibilities as well :) I can move ASAP or till december! Let me know if we can talk about it during an inspection!
Hey! I work full time as a Venue Coordinator at Melbourne Showgrounds (potential free tickets 🙂). I'm house trained and sociable. Enjoy cooking and socialising but just as happy to kick back with a good show and take out (currently watching Power and The Sinner). Enjoy getting out on the weekends and exploring new places and working on my awful surfing or golfing techniques. I own a car and am happy with on street parking. Looking for somewhere social and respectful. House doesn't have to be immaculate but if everyone is doing their share of the cleaning that's perfect 🙂. Talk soon, Cole
Hey guys, 28 year old Half Australian/Japanese Male looking for a new place to live! I currently manage Irish Pub in the city full time, but outside of work, I'm very chilled. I've also got two degrees, a Bachelor of International Relations and a Masters Degree in Public Policy, but I'm delaying my move into governance as I'm really enjoying hospitality management at the moment (Irish Whiskey). I'm also fluent in Japanese, and have cooked professionally in the past. So any kitchen of mine is fully stocked with food and a fine selection of alcohol. My main interests outside of the above is of course, travel (Lived in Sweden for 3 years, Turkey for one year and Japan half of my life), football (soccer), losing money on the ASX.
Hi everyone! I am a young doctor working full time at Western Health next year, looking for another female to move in with. I’m originally from Melbourne, but I have lived away from home for 5 years now and so have had my fair share of housemates. I have an open door policy, I don’t lock myself up in my room. I am very clean and often find that I end up doing all the housework which isn’t really fair, so I would appreciate living with someone who is willing to share the load. I love to cook and bake, I am Greek/Italian. My partner will probably spend a bit of time over, after May because he will be overseas before then. We are really friendly and love to socialise so if you have a partner who is also a nice human we would love to be friends. I am not a loud person, I don’t play loud music. I don’t like when my housemates blast their tunes when I am trying to sleep after a night shift or when they bash pots and pans.. which is common sense. I am a really fair person, and am really caring, but if I find it isn’t reciprocated, I won’t be walked all over. I would like to move into a fairly new either town house or apartment. I have all of my own furniture and a beautiful cat called Mandy who you will love (unless you hate cats, in which case I don’t want to live with you ;) ) I will mainly be working at Sunshine hospital so near there would be good, but anywhere close to a train station in the western suburbs is also fine. Please feel free to message me if you feel like we might be a good match! I’m trying to get organised early to make the transition as smooth as possible :)
Hi guys, I'm very quiet and laid back, and while I do pretty much keep to myself I do enjoy a good chat with a rum&dry in my hand. I work full time in the city and I tend to spend my weekends home unwinding watching soccer on my laptop, or heading out for a bike ride with mates. **Not really fussed with moving dates, I just had to enter a date in my listing. **Not really fussed with length of stay but I know It'll be a minimum 6 months & most likely longer.
Bad jokes. Average cooking. Great banter. We are biochemistry and psychology students with a shared love of video games and funky music. We are a pretty introverted pair and enjoy our own space, but love equally to hang out with like-minded people and discuss the whatever is going on in the media and in the community. Feeling like part of a cohesive, happy household is pretty important to us, and if it is to you too – let's chat!
I’m studying at RMIT City campus start of 2019 Looking for somewhere with bills included in rent price per week. Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in November/December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
Hi, I'm Jemma. I am currently on my gap year before I make the move to Melbourne to complete a bachelor of education at Vic Uni. I am very interested in meeting with someone who would love to team up and create a new home together! But I am open to anything! I am very active and healthy person, I enjoy exercising in any form, enjoy high intensity and pushing myself to my limits. I usually go to the gym about 6 times a week and enjoy getting outdoors at any chance I can. I love cooking and love food, I love being able to create recipes and love what I eat. I am a very clean person and understand when space is needed. Ideally in a roommate I would love someone who isn't just a roommate but also a friend and family! I would love to talk to any of you and would love a message from you guys! Thank you for viewing my listing xx
Hey guys! My name is Kri and I'm on the hunt for a place to live from early 2019. I'm from Brisbane and I'm moving to Melbourne where I'll study a Master of Environment. I don't know Melbourne very well (although I do have family dotted around) so I'm looking for a place that is lively and welcoming towards a newcomer to the big smoke ;) I like to keep a clean shop and am well accustomed to communal living. This means I'm pretty easygoing and up for a chat whenever, but I can also gauge when you might need some alone time. I'm quite a social person but this Master is going to be challenging for me.. so its all about balance, right? My interests and hobbies include marine conservation, diving (free and scuba), yoga, mario kart, camping, playing piano, eating cheese, 4WDing, dancing, wine (love red but won't say no to a rose' when the afternoon is inviting), bushwalking, beers, sunsets, sunrises.. the list goes on. I guess I'm pretty outdoorsy and would love to live with some likeminded people so I ain't feeling all cooped up in the city. I've spent this year living in Malaysia on a pretty remote island so this is gonna be a big move for me - but I'm excited and I hope my new homies would be too!
