Looking for 2 super cool and nice peeps who clean up after themselves. This is for a shared team up in a large beautiful house we can call home. We have yet to find a place and would like to go for inspections together. We have furniture and are willing to do a proper set up with yours too. We could even provide you with some should the need arises. Just ask, we don't bite! :) Preferably flatmates who hate to move as we are looking for someone long term but if you know the exact dates of your arrival/departure and would like to get to know us, that's great too. Rental price will be heaps heaps cheaper if shared. $350 is just for the ad here. We are both friendly, into markets, museums and willing to attend anything interesting that Melbourne has to offer. Toby: A guy in his 30s who has got a PhD in Physics, loves good food, coffee, stinky cheese, plays the guitar just like Jimi, into Game Of Thrones, Ray Donovan, Vikings, keeping fit and he keeps to himself. Willing to socialise the minute you ask him to :) Total geek. Ask him anything techy and he will solve it for you. As for me: I'm not Wonder Woman but on some days I pretend to be her. LOL! I love going on adventures, exploring, writing, telling stupid jokes and laughing, into dirtbikes, fast cars and everything cool. I am actually looking for someone who has got a car, but if you haven't that's fine. It's just to do a big grocery shop every weekend for all of us. Yes, toilet paper is important. Don't you think? LOL! :) My weekends are spent going for a nice lunch/brunch/yum cha/dinner and going for long bike rides if time allows it. Please feel free to contact me to arrange for a meet up. Anything after 5pm/6pm is good on weekdays. Weekends are good too. We'd love to hear from you! All enquiries welcome. Have a good one. Laters. :) P.S. For those who have reached out to us, thanks heaps! Me and Toby are looking forward to meeting you!
Hey!! I'm an athlete from New Zealand, moving to Melbourne to train. I am currently looking for a place to stay as well as a job. I've traveled the world with running. I'm fun and easy going, get along with almost everyone. Excited about the move.
I'm pretty laid back as a housemate. I like living with people I get along with, people who treat housemates like they would family and are considerate - i.e. no labelling stuff in the fridge, not into the hostel vibe for a long term arrangement. I work FT and study com/law part time, volunteer quite a bit. I'm pretty social too and occasionally would have friends over.
I'm just coming off a gap year from uni and be switching to Monash (I'll be studying fine arts and history). I'm a painter and artist though I'm not messy so don't worry! I'm into movies and playing Xbox and have a wicked board game collection so if you're into game nights then definitely hit me up! I have a nano fish tank I like to sit on my desk with a couple gorgeous fish to go with it of course. I also have my motorbike license though I don't presently have a bike so I just need a spot to park my car. Im not a huge party animal although I'm up for some drinks or just catch up over coffee! Always happy to clean and share house duties too and I love to bake. I don't know many people in Melbourne so I'm looking for a roomie and a friend to find a great little place together!
Very clean, tidy and friendly Scottish professional looking for a flat-share or team up. I am a building consultant who is moving to Australia for a new lifestyle and for a job in the city centre (I have a 2 year employee-sponsored visa). My hobbies are football, reading, cycling, cooking and going to the gym. I am also social but in a considerate way and will be doing regular office hours. As I'm coming from the UK and don't really know anyone in Sydney, I will be looking to be friends with my flatmates however space is important. There would be no problem with a flatmate doing their own thing and being quite private. Also, I am going to join either an 11-a-side football team or a fitness class, and will have lots of people at work to make friends with as the office is quite large. I think it's also worth pointing out that I have a requirement/desire to eat a fairly large amount of food and happily this ties in with the fact I love to cook, especially socially. Along with this, though, I won't go borrowing food as (a) it's wrong and I am able to buy my own and (b) there is no subtlety with me so I'd have to finish stuff off. I.e. if there was ever the situation that I've ran out of my supply of milk in the fridge and I want to make tea I'd probably just not have tea or go to the shop. I am arriving in Sydney on the 28th of August so would be looking to start viewings from this time and begin making new friends over here as well.
Hey Mate(s), my name is Joel. I'm a nineteen year old soon-backpacker from East Germany who is willing to spend a year in Australia together with his girlfriend in order to travel, make an abundance of amazing experiences and meet new people. We are both full of energy, but also enjoy just hanging out, while eating good food and having a nice chat. We will arrive in Melbourne on the 28th of September (2017) and are looking for an accomondation for the first 2 months or so. Please contact us if we are the right flatmates for your home. Cheers, Jenny and Joel
Hi there! :-) I'm a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Hi, My name is Nicola (25 Scottish) and I am on a working/holiday visa with my best friend Sophie (25 English). We are both very laid back, clean and social. Love a good beer while watching the Rugby. Also very keen on travel, sports and being outdoors. Looking to live with like minded individuals.
Heya, I'm moving over for a year form England and looking for a share house/solid place to live for a few months ideally in Bondi Beach, Bondi Juction, Coogee or Newtown area. I'm a positive happy chap, who's reliable, tidy, pretty sociable and outgoing. I'd say I have an active lifestyle; being from Cornwall I love to surf so being by the water would be ideal. Rugby is another hobby of mine so will hope to play whilst over. Hoping to find some like minded people to share a house with, relax aand have a quality with for a few months. For the 6 first months I'll be working in the hospitality sector hopefully and then afterwards I shall traveling around so if anyone want to meet or team let me know. If you would like to know any more just drop me a message. Thanks for reading Tobie
IM SEEKING 1 BEDROOM UNIT / STUDIO / FLAT /APPARTMENT ETC. Hi there I'm 24 years old . I work from home doing admin and will be starting a course online in the next month. I'm outgoing . Chilled . Love my own space but love socialising just as much :) . I'm not like most 24 years. I don't go clubbing or anything like that. Maybe once in a blue moon. I love spending time with family and friends in my spare time. Love going to evens , the beach , long walks . And chilling out with my feet up of the evening :)
Hey future person who's gonna live with me! hahahah! Well, I'm Murilo, i'm coming from Brazil to study one year in Sydney. I'm a good person, with tons of friends here and love to meet many others if possible! And that's kinda easy, because i'm a communicative person (although I respect when people like silence hehe). Like to go out and meet different places (like bar, clubs or restaurants), but many times I like to stay at home, just watching a good serie at Netflix or just chatting, maybe having a beer just to chill. Should one have any question, feel free to ask anything. Cheers!!
I'm a very quiet person(I read, I watch my show, and I cook once or twice per week and always, always clean after myself) I've got a good sense of humor if you wanna have a chat with a glass of wine If you go eat dinner with me at Kisume, you Might get some free stuff ;) ( I work there full time) Game of Throne fan, Star War fan, foodie I make damn good pizzas
Hi, I am Elen. I just graduated from master degrees and i am going to find a job. I am looking for a single room ASAP. I am pretty neat, clean, respectful and easy going. Hope to share a house with easy going people, neat and clean. I always pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to have drinks on weekend and I prefer to share the flat with people who I can call friends. ^^
I'm a Master's student, majoring in Communication. I'm generally a quiet but sociable person. I'm very privacy conscious and respect others' space. I'd like a place that's kept clean by other housemates (especially the bathrooms and kitchen) and locked responsibly. I will do the same in return. I also believe in friendship and communication between housemates, and I always pay my bills on time! I would ideally like to move closer to the city (currently in Box Hill). However, I am not opposed to a nice place in Box Hill/Burwood area again. Currently moving out of a place where I've had 3 great housemates. Hope to find the same in the next place :)
An easy going couple, clean, tidy and quiet. We enjoy chat and sharing moments with housemates. Actually in WHV, turning on a 2/3 years student visa so we can stay long term.
We're a young professional outgoing couple who loves nature, outdoor activities, sports, traveling, meet new people, different cultures and new experiences. Back in Lisbon we used to share our apartment with other guests. We respect privacy and enjoy a clean and tidy place to live. In the end of August, we are moving to Sydney and looking for a private room in a shared apartment.
