Originally from London, but have lived in Sydney for many years now. Looking for a room in Inner Sydney. With ensuite or private bathroom ONLY. And definitely near a train station! Looking for long-term stay (more than a year). I work full-time in IT, splitting my days between the office and working from home so a quiet place to work is a necessity for me. I also start early most days so I'm not really interested in a party house, more so a place where I can guarantee sleep, relax and feel at home. Am very laid back and easy to live with. Things I love: Music, movies, tv shows, getting out and about, travel, photography, Long chats, meeting new people..
Hello future friends! I'm a respectful, social and active person who thrives on laughter and happiness. I work full time as a network technician in Watson's Bay and hoping to move closer to the east. I am required to travel throughout the year, which will be to your advantage of course. I try to be as active as possible and in general just love being outdoors, especially in the summer. I'm always up for trying something new (anything is fun in good company). I love being in the water and pretty much anything associated with it. Ideally I would like to live in an environment where I would build a relationship with my housemates and live in a place that we all share and feel comfortable living with each other. If you have any other questions please ask. Thanks for reading. Giancarlo
Looking for somewhere to live whilst working abroad as a nurse, so will generally be working long hours, but hope to make some great friendships along the way! I enjoy cooking (nothing like a good meal after a long shift), I like cooking for lots of people, and Im a clean and tidy person to live with. When not at work I generally try and make the most of it by going out and keeping busy and social.
Hello! I am an upcoming postgraduate student from the UK who will be studying medicine full-time. I am currently looking for accommodation for the duration of my studies (3+ years), but am quite flexible with lease terms. I am generally a quiet, laid-back person, currently learning to speak Mandarin. I'll probably be busy during the weekdays with my studies, but I don't mind a drink or two on Friday evenings or weekends. I am also quite partial to the occasional board game! Having previously lived both alone and with a group of flatmates, I am a neat and tidy person, and will also do my share of any housekeeping. Please get in touch if you think I'll be suitable as a future flatmate!

I'm reliable, responsible, neat. I'm a gay, middle-aged guy.. sane, intelligent, nice!
I'm Hannah, 27, recently moved over to Sydney from London with work. I'm looking for double room with social housemates who are easygoing, fairly housetrained and more friends than just housemates. A bit about me: I’ve just moved to Sydney, I already have a few good friends here so quite independent but definitely up for making more. I’m going to be here for at least a year and plan to spend my weekends exploring Australia... Work can be pretty full on so I'm normally pretty chilled during the week but can be convinced to go for a drink/dinner now and then :)

Ideally housemates who would be friends of mine!!

Dear, I am Carla Ansa from Barcelona. I am 30 years old and I get the W&H visa. I will arrive on March 28th. In Barcelona, I work in film business, mostly working in tv commercial & photo shootings as production coordinator. I would like to find my place in film industry in Sidney. I am a super tidy person, very clean and open-minded. I enjoy reading, sports and meeting new people. I really enjoy a quiet conversation. My main concern is to find a job and work hard in my new adventure abroad, but also know about the country and its people. When my W&H finishes, I would like to travel around a few months, and then come back to Barcelona. My plan is being 1 year with the W&H VISA, and see what will come next. Kind regards,
I'm an Aussie-asian born and from Perth. Recently moved to Sydney and looking for long term stay with my bf, Andrew. Im a person with cultural upbringing meaning I'm all about being clean and fairly neat. I will make it easy and save you from reading a essay; I describe myself being creative & social as well as interest into yoga, fitness and outdoor activities. Andrew, bloke from Geelong, is a graphic designer. He's not a strong character so you will never get sick of him :). Think of him as a chilled aussie, barely complains and not fussy. We are looking for a private room in a shared house/flat with mates who enjoys casual drinks over dinner, sociable, clean and easy going. Staying 9 months plus further extension.
Hi I'm from the UK, looking for a 2 month stay in a furnished flat with some friendly flatmates. I love living in Sydney. I enjoy going to the beach, playing football (soccer) and exploring new bars and restaurants. I work as a policy adviser for the government. I'm clean, respectful and easy to live with. I don't smoke and am not really into partying but do like the occasional drink on the weekend or after work. I'm sociable but also respect people's space (we all need our down time).
Hi, My name is Tom and I'm a relaxed guy who's super easy to get along with. I've lived in Sydney for a majority of my life and am currently looking at moving out to the beach. I am a passionate surfer and have been surfing for a while! I'm a big fan of having a healthy lifestyle; eating well, exercising and chilling out. I'm a social person and enjoy having a drink and a chat with other people. Im optimistic when trying new things and love to make the most of the opportunities I'm given. I am a huge fan of most sports and am always open to watching them on TV and live, especially rugby union. I am currently studying full-time and working part-time around the manly area and would love to team up with either one or a few people to rent a place around the manly area. If you feel like you're compatible, then shoot me a message!
So, I'm looking for a place to stay until December because That's when my first semester of school ends. (If you tend to go sooner I have no problem renting atm). I am currently staying at The Village (hostel), in Surry Hills. I will be staying here until the 27th of Februari, after that I hope to have find a shareable place. I am not a Australian Citizen, I am only here for my studies. As a person in a residence I tend to be very tidy and cleaning in my living area. I don't make a mess, and If i would make a mess I would clean it up after. But it's not like I would freak out over a socket laying on the floor. I am a very open minded person when it comes to talking to different people, and living with them. I don't take up much space in the room, and don't take up much space in a conversation that Is not aiming at that chemestry whise between my roommates. But don't get me wrong. You could talk to me about Anything. I love to meet and get to know New people. The 1 thing I think is most important through us living together is the chemestry. A Good chemestry is needed to stay happy living together. It is imortant for me that I feel like I can talk to the person I am living with without it feeling to stale. It's about finding the right people. About me: I am staying here as I said to study. I study at Sydney Film School and I am New to Australia overall. But the love for film is what brought me here. I love to play the guitar and listen to Good music, watch movies, go out and do things with friends. Sorry for the long text, but That's what I wanted to say for now. Cheers!

I love sports and art/design and am a qualified ski instructor so love to get away to the snow for a weekend when I can! I am not a huge party person but try to go out when I can. I'm very easy going, light hearted and I never take myself or anything too serious :) I am a very communal person and am happy to interact and socialise with whoever is in at the time but also am more than happy in my own company when myself or others want their own down time. I am very clean, tidy and respectful and will always do my bit to help out :)
I just moved to Sydney from Canada for a master's degree. Hoping to find a place as soon as possible. I'm available anytime to meet. I'm easygoing, sociable and respectful. Very clean and easy to get along with. Love dogs. Cheers!
I'm a 24 years old Indian post graduate student at UNSW. I'm studying masters in commerce. I'm a friendly, easy going and helpful guy. I enjoy listening to music, watch sports and try different restaurants.
I swear I'm a nice person and ill pull my weight. I am moving to Australia from Fiji to pursue my studies, I am half Australian and half Japanese, unfortunately cannot speak Japanese. I have blue hair but don't let it scare you off. Im not really a party animal but I do enjoy an occasional drink with friends. I would love to meet new people and make new friends but if you need space I will respect your wishes
Nice to e-meet you! I'm originally from the Northern Beaches but am looking to move closer to the city due to work and to cut my daily commute in half! I work in the creative industry with specialisation in digital marketing. I am always interested in connecting with likeminded people to share backgrounds and stories over a drink or two!
New to Sydney, I am a 28 year old Londoner who works in PR - restaurant launches, running press offices, that kind of thing. I have been traveling around Australia and Asia for the last year and love outdoor activities as well as all things food, drink and music. I would describe myself as outgoing, bubbly and clean. I like to have a good time on the weekends but generally keep my head down with work, exercise and the odd glass of vino during the week. Looking for like-minded housemates to explore Sydney with :-)
We are young professional couple from the UK that have just finished 4 months of worldwide travel. Lizzie is arriving on a working holiday visa and will be looking for office based work in sales/recruitment and Dan is a NZ citizen who works in insurance. We are a socialable couple & very relaxed. We love cooking good food, travelling, seeing friends, and binge watching Netflix in our spare time. We are very clean and tidy & would be looking for flat mates who are also this way!
I am friendly, tidy person and respect privacy. Easy to get along with. Currently full time IT professional in India. I am also an Australian Permanent Resident.
Currently living in Darling Point, having to move due to lease being up and apartment has been sold. Very sad to be leaving. Have been with the two guys I live with now for two years, both older males in their late 20's / early 30's. I am very house proud and respectful of other people's things. I am very healthy as I work in health & fitness. Although I love socialising in my downtime.
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
I am a very nice, tidy and clean Colombian guy. I just finished a Master in Business at Macquarie University and now I am working full time in Banking. Love movies, gym and music.
I'm a 22 year old registered nurse working full time. Looking to move into a private room sometime in May. I am tidy, sociable, reliable, respectful and really easy going. I like socialising and having a few drinks, but also enjoy my quiet time. I am keen to find a place that feels more like a home rather than just a place to crash.
20 years old, working full time in sales with stable income. Looking to stay long term. Quite outgoing but I do enjoy quiet nights and Suits & Gossip Girl marathon. And I'm always looking to network with people! If I like you i'll cook for you 😛
