We are two people in their 20s looking for a place to call home. We have a gorgeous 4 year old Beagle called Juno. She is very sweet natured and loves a good bone or two! We don't like bones so much but are big on BBQs and outdoor adventures. Mitchell works at the Sydney institute of Marine science and Benita works at a Vet clinic in Double Bay. We are both part time students while working full time. We are looking for people to live with who enjoy similar things or different things and we could learn something new! Benita loves the beach and Mitchell spends some of his work days snorkelling for sea urchins! (Ask us more about this if you like). We would love to hear from you! And also, we have a coffee machine ;) :D
I am an incredibly neat and tidy person who loves pilates, photography and listening to jazz. I am a photographer who is working along side another well known Sydney photographer to help second shoot and assist with shoots. I am currently Director of Photography at Huxley School of Makeup and I am moving to Sydney for work. I am seeking clean and orderly roommates.
I am a 19 year old easy going, respectful Australian/Latvian student at unisyd(studying history; everything and anything starting from the french rev.) I’m very independent and don’t like drama. Won’t be home a lot as I will be working part-time, studying in a library, hitting the gym or playing volleyball. But in those rare times when I’m free always up for a vino, fam dinner and binge watching a good tv show(got is on top of my list). Very chilled and accepting of everyone. Hope to see you soon!
Hey! I'm Miriam, I'm 23 and from Canada but I'll be moving to Sydney in February to start law school at the University of Sydney! I'm clean and respectful and love meeting new people. I'm looking forwards to exploring the city, and I'm always up for brunch or a glass of wine.
I'm a 27-year-old immigration lawyer from Brisbane who will be working full-time in Sydney CBD. I have a ten-month old kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits) and the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. I love cats and would expect my housemates to be mammal-friendly. (You don't necessarily have to be cat-friendly, as I have had numerous friends who considered themselves "dog people" instantly fall in love with Mimo when they stayed over at my place. My current housemate of 1.5 years in Brisbane is also one of them!) As I have a busy work life, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer gated apartments and accommodation that is ideally not carpeted. Your place would also ideally not have leather couches or anything leather that you care about; or if you do, be open to my putting a couch cover on it at my expense. Whilst Mimo has always been trained not to scratch anything other than her cat tree and scratch toys, she can leave the occasional faint marks on the leather surface when she prances around. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. As my work is extremely hectic, I am keen to share a house or apartment with heavy sleepers who are considerate with limiting noise between 11pm and 8am on weekdays. I would not mind occasional chats and drinks on the weekends. My move-in date will have to fall on 1 January 2017. I am on the lookout for a six-month lease. My boyfriend may join me in April 2017 and we are happy to pay for a couple's rate for the room from then on. If he does not join me, I will be happy to extend beyond the six months if the house is great as Mimo (my cat) does not enjoy moving. I do not drive so I would like to find a place that is within 10 minutes' walk from the train station.
Hello :) My name’s Giada, 28, just arrived from Italy. I’m looking for a single bedroom because I like to have my own space, in a clean and ordered home. I also enjoy to spend time with flatmates maybe with a beer and some music :)
Generally a friendly and tidy person. I'm taking a year off before masters to earn some money, meet folks, travel around NSW and enjoy myself in general. For fun I tend to enjoy both casual drinks and the occasional gig or night out, nothing too out of the ordinary. Interests include mostly stuff from the arts and humanities, I dabble in a lot of stuff but I mainly play guitar/anything with strings & frets and enjoy writing short stories and such. Love a good read. Always looking for cool things to decorate with. That's about it :)
My name is Mira! I am originally from Dallas, TX, but went to school in Miami, FL. I am coming to Australia on a working holiday VISA. Despite what that entails, I am by no means in Australia to go crazy and party. I'm all about balance. I spent two of my college summers studying abroad in two wonderful places (Galapagos Islands and Cape Town) and I just completed a semester abroad in Seville, Spain. Because of these experiences, I have realized I want to spend my gap year traveling sustainably. I found this working holiday visa allows me to work so that I could travel within my means. I am looking to expand my global awareness of social initiatives, and will spend a good chunk of my time in Australia reaching out to different non-for-profits and the other good chunk working a full-time job. I am really easy-going and relaxed and just looking for genuine people to live with in Sydney. I love meeting new people and am very social! In my free time, I enjoy running, yoga, meditation, and pretty much anything outdoorsy. I do enjoy going out one night a weekend, and am always down for wine/beer. I plan to stay in Sydney for the next 3 months, but am hoping to make some lifelong friends here. :)
Im a 22 year old English girl currently working at a cocktail bar in Potts Point. I'm easygoing and social but also enjoy quiet time at home. I've lived in many house shares and I'm respectful of other people.
Hi! Just moved to Sydney after living in North America and Europe earlier this year. Funny (at least that's what my mates say), outgoing and social but also enjoying quiet time. Reformed introvert (though most people don't believe the introvert part). Love diving, snorkeling and traveling. Hoping to find new girlfriends and a place close to a beach! :)
Hi, I'm Léo 25 yo frenchman working full-time ( Visa 457) as digital marketing manager for a perfume company. I'm very dynamic and always up to go for a drink, to a gallery or see a game of football . I play soccer quite often but also like other kind of sports . I'm clean and tidy and respectful of other's privacy. I've been living in Sydney for over a year and am looking to move to a new place for at least 4 months
I currently work at Apple and tutor at Deakin uni, however will be moving to Geelong to study a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. I'm looking to move out of my current flatshare and find somewhere near Deakin Geelong with like minded people who enjoy hanging out but also respect each other's space. I enjoy going to the gym, cycling and have been studying Japanese for the past 6 months! At this time I’ll be looking to move in January, so feel free to contact me toward the end of December or if you’ll have a room available early next year. Cheers
My name is Belen I’m really interested in your apartment. I’m a Spanish 22 years old girl who is moving to the other side of the world and looking for some place nice to live in. I have a bachelor on Advertising and PR and a master on Digital Marketing. My hobbies are basically travel, fashion and a healthy lifestyle. I’m a really open mind person, very kind, responsible and organized. I would really love to meet you and your lovely house. Cheers, Belen.
Hi I am Emma. I am super easy going, love to have a laugh, pretty fun although I don't drink much I am still social. I am tidy and respectful of people's space. I am working in a preschool on St Leonards and am also a yoga instructor. During the week I'm pretty busy working 45+ hours and I dance and do yoga after work.
My partner James and I are young professionals, 23 and 24, currently living in Kensington. I'm American and work as a teacher while studying for my master's, and he is a Kiwi in management consulting. Our favorite things to do at home are playing board/card games and cooking dinner together. We'd love a house where we are friends with the roommates and can go for walks or hikes together, out for meals, or just settle in for movies. We've both lived with flatmates for the past several years, though, and have always gotten along well whether as close friends or just respectful neighbors. James travels weekly so is only around on weekends, and I work mostly afternoons and evenings.
