Karwai and I are 27 and 25, we are an English couple on Permanent Residency visas, having been in Australia for over 3 years. I am the manager of a travel agency for backpackers, while Karwai works for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), she has aspirations to undertake a conversion of her Occupational Therapy degree to practise in Australia. In our spare time, we enjoy doing anything and everything together, whether it be going for a beach day, bush walks or just hanging out watching Netlix. We are looking for a nice place, in a perfect location; either right by Bondi Beach, or walking distance to Town Hall as we both work in the area. Sociable house mates is a bonus.
Hey! I'm Travis, 26 years old, part-time management consultant and full-time masters (MIDEA) student at USYD. I'm an easy-going guy who loves a cup of tea and Netflix, but you'll also catch me having fun and socialising on a Friday with work/flatmates. Can't go wrong with good food and conversation either; looking forward to having a chat with you all.
Hello, I have recently moved to Sydney from New Zealand and looking for a new place to stay as I have to move out of my current place by the 8th of March. I'm a very chilled guy, during the week i usually keep my head down then don't mind having a drink in the weekends. I enjoy good food, listening to music, playing guitar, kickboxing, going to the beach, and Netflix. Currently, i am looking for employment in the finance industry, as i have just graduated from university. Hopefully this shouldn't take too long as there are plenty of opportunities in Sydney, and don't worry, funds aren't an issue. Also: I have another friend from New Zealand that will be moving here at the end of the month so it would be a bonus if there was a place that had two rooms for the both of us! Hope to hear from you soon, Cheers!
Hi, I’m Verity (27) from the U.K. and I’m just starting my working holiday. I work in HR/Admin and I’m looking to do the same here. I love socialising, the gym and the occasional drink or two. I am looking for housemates that I get on with and can have the occasional drink with as well as live together.
I'm a half-Dutch, half-Kiwi guy moving over from New Zealand to start a job as a software engineer in the CBD. I love cooking, quality yarns over a beer or a wine and playing/watching a game of soccer or cricket. I'm also generally pretty tidy, pay my rent on time and all that jazz. Looking for a room not too far away from the CBD in a flat with some cool people to hang out with.
Hi 👋 there I work as a cardiac sonographer at various hospitals and private consult rooms around Sydney, mainly eastern suburbs. My primary background is cardiac nursing (but not to forget the arts degree before that 😉, man those were the days!). I’m working 4-5 days a week now, with weekends off duty ;) I’m mid thirties , mature but fun 🤣 Have just returned to Sydney after a year’s stint up on the North Coast of NSW (where I grew up!). A bit of city escape I suppose but ultimately my work and friends are based here in Sydney. Weekends I like to go to movies sometimes, see music and drink tea (or wine) with friends, swim, get to yoga when the motivation strikes and walk down at beautiful Bronte or Coogee, and otherwise just to potter. I have grand plans to use my bike more often, go for hikes and to get back into some regular exercise, maybe mixed social basketball again (I’ve allowed work to take priority for too long!) I love a bit of beach, sky and greenery having grown up in Coffs but have been predominantly in Sydney for the last 18 years (half my life!) - studying, working, making life long friends & having fun. I love Sydney’s beaches and coastline, Bronte Beach and Wylies Baths are my favourites once the water gets above 18 degrees 😉 I'm very trustworthy, friendly and sociable but really I do appreciate and respect others and certainly value my own privacy and bit of comfortable quiet too, a place with my own en-suite would be ideal. I’m at a point in my life where I would like to find a place to call home for a while, however I have put 2-3months just as a starting point ! ☺️
Working in CBD full time so I'm quite boring throughout the week but I love a laugh, love to cook, and love the pub. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others and you'll typically find me listening to triple J or rewatching old simpsons episodes. *not a dickhead*
I work 5/6 days a week in Double Bay and like to keep myself busy and out of the house at the weekends. i like to socialise with friends out and about for dinners and a few drinks, although im very quiet through the week , i and train most evenings at the gym. Im not after a party house , just a nice place to relax and call home!i I also would prefer my room to have an ensuite and possibly AC as the winter months get pretty cold!
I'm a digital product designer, professional, clean, tidy and quiet, I just moved back to Australia after living overseas for 5 years. I'm relaxed, enjoy a laugh and I'm easy going. I respect others, eat out most of the time and keep quiet. I look forward to meeting you :)
I’ve just moved to Sydney from Perth until the end of the year for work and looking for somewhere to stay that’s relatively close to the city and with easy going and fun people. Always happy to be social and enjoy time on my own as well. I work in Banking and in my spare time I like dancing and playing netball. Looking for housemates that I can hang out with sometimes as I don’t know many people in Sydney :) As my intentions are to eventually return to Perth I’m looking for a furnished room and house (I only brought clothes, shoes etc). Am also looking to be relatively close to the city as I’d love to be able to walk to work. I’m tidy, polite, easy going and social (and will always pay rent/bills on time!) I don’t have any pets but love dogs so would be happy having animals around too. I’m not bringing my car over so no parking required. Send me a message if I sound like someone you can see living in your place :)
Hi I’m from Scotland, just returned to Australia as I have dual citizenship. Love to travel, recently been on a solo trip to South America. Currently looking for jobs in child care. I enjoy meeting new people, socialising, reading and the odd glass of wine! Would make a fantastic flatmate as I’m clean, tidy and fun :)
We are a friendly easy going couple from Birmingham in the UK. We’re looking for somewhere that feels like home as we travel around Australia on our work visa. Cam completed a degree in computer science in 2018 and I graduated in 2015. We travelled around Asia before coming to Aus and have been living in Bondi since we arrived. We both work at Syney Opera House and so are out of the house alot! We are looking for somewhere to stay from 4th March until around 25th March and would like to secure something ASAP!
Hey! I'm Pia. 🙋♀️ I study Marketing and work part-time in a hotel as a receptionist. I have shift work and come home late at night or start really early in the morning. That's why I'm looking for a nice private room (no share rooms) not too far from the City. I'm a friendly and clean person, usually active and outgoing, but when I come home after work I just want to relax. Things that might give me an extra point: We can share my netflix account if you want 😁 non-smoker 🚭 / Wine lover 🍷 / vegetarian 🥦/ Crunch fitness 💪🏼 / netflix / I can use chopsticks🥢
Hi! I'm a 26 year old guy who moved from Melbourne to Sydney (after finishing Engineering/Commerce studies) to start working for Qantas. That said, I've recently come back from a 6 month contract in the London office. My favourite things are travelling, photography and coffee - combine all three and that's my perfect weekend! Other than that, I'm a neat person who enjoys both quiet nights in and heading out for a boogie. Shoot me any questions you may have!
I’m very easy going, relaxed and open minded, easy to talk to and always willing to listen. I can be a bit messy with my room but clean and tidy with the rest of the house. Also I’m kind of a geek, like video games, movies and reading. I work as a games master at a escape room and study hospitality, both in the city.
