Hi! My name is Mariela, I’m from Chile and I’m here in Australia for my second year of Working Holiday Visa. I’m looking for a place to live, hopefully a private room near a train station in a sharehouse. I’m easy going and relaxed, and I hope to find some nice people to live with!
Hey ! We are 3 French software engineers/students coming to work here, we found internships in CBD and now we are looking for a nice place to live with 3 private bedrooms. We are tidy, polite and friendly! We work full-time so we won't really be in your way during the week! Don't hesitate to contact us :)
28 year old old female working-art time in admin and also studying Speech Pathology full time (because who likes to have spare time?). I'm after a place that is quite connected with public transport, with quirky food and drink places to explore. Outside of work/study, I'm at the gym, reformer pilates, netball, sustaining my caffeine addiction, or exploring said quirky cafes and bars. I like to try my hand at baking (things usually turns out ok), growing plants, and have a few hilarious travel/life stories. I have a 2 year old black pug, Perikles, who is a fan of eating and sleeping. He is an inside dog, is housetrained and can fist bump. He is easily bribed by food words, such as devon, dinner, chicken and treat. He gets along well with all humans and dogs (big or small). We sadly cannot live with a cat though, as I am allergic. I'm looking for a well kept place with friendly housemates who appreciate a sneaky wine and bbqs but who can also appreciate the need for space/why I sometimes have to disappear into a study cave. I am happy to contribute some furniture if needed, and I am after an unfurnished private room (No sharerooms!). If you have a home with space for Perry and I, shoot me a message :D

I am friendly, clean and respectful of others. I am very quiet and yet very sociable. I enjoy the quiet and peace my home has for me when I get home to relax. I am currently living in Glebe.
I am moving to Sydney for a media job and am looking for a long-term room in a share house. I am passionate about a broad range of music, but especially classical music and indie/folk music. I come with a cello and a banjo. Don't worry, I will only play them during respectable hours. I love cooking and my star contributions to the kitchen will be a Kenwood Chef, a big Scanpan stockpot, and a pasta machine. Though I rarely get around to it, I like playing board games like Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, etc. I have a PhD in the rarefied field of Musicology and am still a bit of a book fiend, but can proudly say I have whittled my collection down to one or two bookshelves (provided) of only the most essential texts. While obviously a tragic nerd, I am quite active and enjoy yoga, pilates, swimming, and getting around by bike. I love beaches and look forward to making the most of these while I'm in Sydney. So that's me. I'm flexible with move-in dates but would like to secure a place as soon as possible. I can interview in person after 3 March, or Skype before that date. Please send a message if you think I'd be a good addition to your house!
Hi my name is Lily. My boyfriend Andrew and I are looking for a room in Sydney. I am originally from country NSW and Andrew is originally from Chicago. He is a bank analyst and I am a travel agent/photographer so we are both pretty busy (but happy to do home odd jobs or photo shoots as required!). We like to be social but are not big partiers and like to spend our time at home relaxing or outdoors. We are easy to live with as a couple and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day.
Im an easy going and open minded professional who started working in Sydney about 2 months ago. Since my job is located in banksmeadow I'm looking for a place to live somewhere between redfern and botany. I prefer living in a shared house as I'm quite social and up for being around like minded people 😉. I'm clean and more than capable of respecting basic rules in a shared living place. Looking for a long term stay.
I'm a 34 year old single non smoking professional working full time. I'm friendly, clean and a great listener if you ever need to vent :) I also get that people need their 'me time' (me included) so I'm not the type that needs constant chat or attention. Having said that, I am sociable and always keen to check out bars and new food places as I love to eat :) I play netball socially and recently joined a new gym so I'm usually out and about at least a couple of nights a week. Am also a handy member of any trivia team due to my love of pop culture, movies and music . Also note I have a car and will need to leave it at the house during the week, sometimes all day as I like to walk to work. So if you have on street parking it will need to be unlimited all day as I don’t want a fine :)
Hi friends, I'm Lauren, 29, and a recent expat hailing from Toronto. I'm a startup & tech marketer who can't get enough of the madness found in high-growth companies. I'm also a yoga instructor, which means I'm v down for some housemate yin or practising headstands after a glass of wine. I can't wait to try all the restaurants, pubs, and bars this city has to offer, and I'm a big fan of cooking a lot my meals, too. I'm a people-person who also needs some time alone to decompress. My party days are long behind me and I fully embrace being a grandma. Dinner parties are much more my speed--but play some Biggie and I'll get turnt prettttyyy quick. As a roommate, I'm thoughtful, courteous, and big on open communication. While I prefer a clean space, I'm pretty breezy and won't freak out about a little bit of temporary upheaval. ✨✨✨I'm looking for temporary, short-term digs from the end of February until the end of March✨✨✨
Well, Am Adarsh from Mauritius and am 22yrs. I'll come to sydney by the end of july to study accounting and works on a part time basis. I am someone very responsible, friendly, cool, respectful, trustworth and motivated. I would like to make some new friends here, and to have a great adventure together. Feel free to contact me. Thanks
I'm not sure what makes me "great" to live with, I am laid back, social to a point... I spend my time at the pub, kicking it with the old boys. I run a successful marketing business, so work from home most of the time. But, I'm out a lot. Maybe I should work more? Nah. I asked my ex GF what makes me great to live with, a bold move - I know. She said: "Fun to have a drink with but also appreciate and respect privacy. Funny. Clean. Good stories. Good banter." That'll do. That's about me. Oh, I'm originally from the UK, been here six years and I'm an Australian Citizen. Sydney is forever home. Oh, and I have tattoos. A lot. A lot of visible tattoos. Okay, that's it. ☺
Who we are: We are a Brazilian couple in Australia to study English and Business. We are looking to share a place for initially 3 months with the possibility of extending. About us: Erika is 25 and comes from Vargem Grande do Sul, Brazil, a very small town. She speaks English fluently and has lived in many countries throughout her life (Malaysia being the last of these) so she is quite used to being around very different people and sharing places. She graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo in Biological Sciences back in 2015. She loves to have meaningful conversations, learn as many things as possible, listen to all different kinds of music and experience anything new. She is very easy going and keeps to herself. She hopes to go to Med school one day and get to know as much of the world as possible. Tay is 27 and also comes from Vargem Grande do Sul, though he was previously living in Sao Paulo working as a a lawyer. He is a very easy going and funny person, who loves to play jokes and have a good laugh. He is great with people and is currently looking to improve his English, so it is important for us to live with people who don't speak Portuguese and who likes to socialize. We have both previously shared apartments before, so we are very easy to deal with. We are tidy and keep our things out of the way, but we like the place to few homey and comfortable. What we are looking for: We are looking for a place close to the city center or train station and ideally a furnished room with our own bathroom. We'd like a place we could feel like home and is open to have guests over, though we are not looking for a party house. Who we are looking for: We would like to live with people who are also organised and mindful of others but mainly people who are nice and easy going, who can address any issue respectfully.
I am a friendly, clean and easy going guy, working full time as technology consultant. Enjoy socialising but also respectful of people’s personal space. I am originally from Mexico but have been in Sydney for the last 6 years. Looking for a place to live, either team up or move into a shared place in Sydney CBD and the surrounds. Feel free to message me with any other questions.
Hello! My name is Emily, and I am originally from San Francisco, California. I recently graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelors in economics. I am looking to move to sydney in June and will be working full time as an analyst. I love being outside in my free time whether it be hiking, running, yoga, hanging with friends, going to the beach, or exploring the town. I am very active and social and am looking for easy going flatmates to adventure with on weekends! I am very clean and tidy and respectful of others.
Hi there! Extremely clean, very quiet, easy-going, friendly couple from Eastern Europe Pavel and Inna want to rent a private room or whole property for 4-6 months and above. We work and study full time and like outdoor activities, sports and cooking, don't mind having a chat but try to keep others privacy.
I am 30yo engineer and have recently taken a new job in Sydney. I'm looking to find a new home within driving distance to Marrickville by the end of March and ideally will stay there for at least one year. I will be coming over to Sydney around March 9 and need to find accommodation within 4 weeks after that. As I am new to Sydney, I don't know too many people yet but do have some family and friends living nearby. I enjoy having a beer on weekends, playing sport, going for a run, heading to the beach and just relaxing in my time off. I'm not much of a cook which is a plus as I never leave dirty dishes around. Prefer to find a place with a furnished room so I don't have to move furniture across. I will also have a car and will need some parking.
