Moved to Sydney 3 years ago from India for my Masters degree. Work as a Sales Manager at Myer Sydney (full time). I go to my gym almost everyday. Non-smoker, cleanliness freak and love watching movies.
Im from France and have been in Sydney for 9 months. I'm working full time Mon-Fri in an advertising agency. Easy going, clean and tidy, crazy about netflix but also happy to hang out. Im leaving Sydney 19/20th of January.
Interning in finance over the summer, expecting long hours over the whole period, so I will not be home for most of my stay. It is unlikely I need anything besides the bedroom and bathroom as well due to the nature of my work. Also happy to have a good chat about anything if time permits!
My name is Deanna and I'm looking for a flatmate! When not at work (in HR), you will find me outside, at the gym or watching trashy TV with a wine in hand. I am after a flatmate(s) who are friendly and clean. I moved to Sydney from Canberra about 3.5 years ago, so would love to share with someone that I could eventually call a friend.
*Please read first to see if we're a good match before contacting me* Hi I am a single, clean, fairly quiet, Australian male. I work 2 IT jobs: 1 full-time in Randwick and the other I work from home (very quiet). The 3 main things I need are: 1) Gay-friendly. No special treatment, just tolerance, acceptance and respect. 2) Cat-friendly. I need a home for 2 cats or this is negotiable to 1 if you already have a cat. Any dogs will need to get along. 3) Quiet, peaceful and has privacy. A quiet street with local traffic, not an arterial road - I check this on Google. No hearing people through walls, very quiet after 10pm and quiet neighbours are all essential. I like to socialise sometimes but also have some privacy and time to myself. So if you have lots of different people over often, it won't work with me. My main interests are fitness, video/board games, hiking, trivia, science-fiction. Also important: * The room needs to be at least queen bed size . * Quiet, respectful, considerate, sensible Australians/UK/Canadians aged in their 20's - 40's. * Must be non-smokers. * I'm looking for people that are healthy and regularly exercise (or at least want to) * Available long-term - at least 1 year - to avoid the hassle of moving again. * I may need space somewhere for my own fridge/freezer unless yours is huge/has plenty of space (mainly freezer). Or we could negotiate on sharing certain foods to reduce space. *Fast, unlimited internet My budget is including bills and internet. Ideally I want to live in the Shire, North Shore/beaches or Eastern suburbs but will consider other areas. I will live with dogs if they are quiet and well-behaved/don't jump me.
I'm a French bartender, I study in hospitality too, I'm friendly, quiet and tidy, good cooker👍 I like to share a meal with a drink and meet people from al' around the world 😀
Hi I'm Natalie, I work full time in the finance/economics sector in the city. I am also a part-time Masters student at Sydney Uni. Looking for a relaxing, clean home. Weekdays im pretty busy with work and uni, weekends i tend to be out exploring Sydney and organising myself for the week ahead. Like to gym as well. My ideal home would be one where the total number of people living in the home are 2 people (including myself), no parties, no drugs, no smoking. I have some of my own furniture so would love to be able to move with my furniture (fridge, kitchen bar table w/ 3 stools, projector+netflix account for awesome cinema experience & have my own bedroom furniture). Looking at existing share homes, and am also open to the idea of finding another female to share a 2 bedroom place with me.
Hey there housemate hunters, James here. I'm excited to be searching for a room to share in a house/apartment in Sydney for the very first time. After studying and living in Melbourne post high school I've spent the last 10 years living in London and most recently New York but have decided to spend some time closer to family and enjoy the great city of Sydney. So far it's been pretty awesome. A country Vic native I used to work as a corporate lawyer but now work in operations for tech start-ups. I am very easy-going, tidy and love socialising with my housemates but also mutual respect of space and privacy is important at the same time. I don't drink or smoke but love to socialise and am really looking forward to making the most of my next 6-12 months (at least) in Sydney - I have the dream of learning to surf while back in Australia but knowing myself it will likely remain a dream. In the meantime I'm looking to pick the tennis racquet up again after quite a hiatus. Ideally I'd like to live in Surry Hills, Paddington, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Redfern, Newtown, Alexandria or Bondi areas but it's a new rental canvass for me to explore so I'm open to anywhere relatively central with good public transport connections. Please drop me a line if you think we might be a housemate match. Looking for early November move-in. Cheers, James
Hey there!!! I'm Ale, I come from Madrid, Spain. I graduated in Advertising and Public relations and now I want to live a new adventure in Sydney. Currently I am looking for a female flat preferably in the center near my new academy. I am responsible, organized, friendly, sociable and tolerant person. I love traveling, meeting people and discovering new places and new experiences. I also enjoy my own time (I love art, reading, painting, listening to music and playing sports) Please contact me if you think your house could be a good combination. Cheers, Ale :)
We are looking for a quiet apartment that is in reach of the city centre. We aren't party people and like to come home from work and just relax, have a beer or glass of wine. We are very sociable people but do respect our own space as well as other peoples
Hey Guys, We are two girls from Germany and we are in Australia to Work and Travel. At the moment we are searching for an accommodation in Sydney for a few months, where we can live with other Backpackers. We are very open hearted, easy going and clean and our hobbies are cooking, spending time outside and meet other people from other countries.
Hi I'm Laura, I'm from the UK fancying a new adventure in Sydney! On a working holiday visa and I'm looking for accommodation asap, keen to meet friendly new people and see what Sydney has to offer. I have lived in shared accommodation for years in London and Newcastle in England. I am clean, considerate, tidy, respectful of other peoples space, animal lover and I make a great veggie lasagne. I'm an easy going person who loves fashion, cooking, reading, positive vibes and having a glass of wine (or three) and chatting with housemates over a good film or documentary! Get in touch if you would like to live with a fun easy going english gal!
I'm from Argentina, and I'm starting my working holiday year in Sydney, looking for a long term room since I would like to stay in town as much as possible. Back in March I fell inlove with the city and I decided to come back to enjoy it a little bit more and get to see what this beautiful country has to offer. I'm hard worker and love to make new friends, hang out, FOOD (:P), movies and travel when ever I have the opportunity to do so. I keep my place clean and appreciate company, but I also respect people's me-time as I sometimes need that as well.
Hiya, I'm Lauren (obviously), and I'll be moving to Sydney from the United States, Arkansas to be exact, in early January or potentially sooner. Bit keen, I know, but nice to get feelers out there. So a bit about me: After collecting pointless degrees in far-off cities, I've decided to collect yet another one (Law at USYD), and hopefully it sticks. Outside of being a serial uni student, I'm getting into the fitness new wave of obtaining an impossibly large back side and trying to convince myself I like the gym as much as I like beer. So if you're looking for a housemate who is also keen on the gym, I'm probably mediocre support at best but I'm definitely up for a workout! I'm ALWAYS down for an adventure, and totally excited to explore Sydney and Australia in general. I love going out with friends, meeting new people, and baking. Oh my god, I love baking. I'll be happy to share my sweet treats with the house. I guess now is when I talk about what type of houseshare is on my wish list. I'm really keen on finding people who are interested in being somewhat sociable with each other. It's kind of bizarre living in a house with people you don't really know, right? So hopefully you'll be up for grabbing drinks, having a meal together occasionally, and watching television together sometimes. Obviously this doesn't mean we're getting bunk beds put in the lounge, but it would be nice to be friendly with each other. Oh and I'm quiet, clean and tidy, and all the other things you say when trying to convince people to inhabit a space with you. Anyway, if you're down with the hot mess of an advertisement above, message me! Super excited to hear from you soon :D
I’m an Australian who’s been living in France and the UK for most of the past decade and a half. I’ve been based in Sydney for the past 18 months but have just come back from making wine in France. I work in wine, love to cook, surf badly and know how to use a vacuum Cleaner. I prefer clean but don’t get bothered out about minor stuff. Looking for somewhere chilled and stress free.
I am a 24 Irish guy, working in Business in the CBD. I work regular office hours. I enjoy chilling and exercising during the week. On the weekends I like getting out for a few drinks and meeting friends. Looking for a houseshare with similar people.
