I'm a young, fun and super busy professional moving down from Brisbane for a job opportunity. I'm going to be working full-time and completing my degree part-time, so I'll be super busy during the week but down for a drink and a good yarn on the weekend. I'm looking for a dynamic household full of like-minded people in a similar situation to me ie. future friends :) as I've never lived in Sydney before. I'm a really good cook and appreciate a clean living space, so will definitely carry my weight in terms of cleanliness (and also cook up a little family feast every now and then). I'm a big advocate of making a house feel like a home, so I'm super excited to make a new little family in Sydney!!
FLEXIBLE On move in date and rent as I am looking for somewhere that I love and lucky not to be in a rush! ME: I'm a 30 year old who works full time in infrastructure comms, hours being 9ish-5ish, with the occasional late night and some regional travel. I'm pretty social and get out of the house most evenings if only to go to yoga or something. At home, I alternate between being social and hiding in my room with a book. I stay up quite late most nights, so you may hear me creeping to the fridge to stare at the contents before convincing myself it's way too late for a snack. WHAT I'M AFTER - MUST have my own bathroom or ensuite. - Must have decent sized built-in wardrobes. - Ideally some kind of parking solution. - Prefer not to live with a couple. Also, would really appreciate air-con but as long as there's decent insulation not a big deal! YOU: Gender or sexuality wise - no preference. I just like friendly and genuine people as I am the same. (Fair warning - am rather grumpy in the morning). I'm looking for somebody considerate and straight to the point (blunt even) so that little household issues don't turn into hurt feelings and instead get resolved easily. I.E. if you think I'm being crap or my tv is too loud or whatever just tell me and vice versa. - A non-negotiable quality is the desire/willingness to keep shared places clean, particularly the kitchen. Open to a cleaning roster if that's easier, or maybe even a cleaner. (Victim of post-traumatic share stress disorder on this issue) - Ideally somebody I can talk to/joke around with so that we can have a comfortable balance of doing our own thing and interacting. GUESTS : - Not open to a "party house" but definitely need everyone to be able to have friends over for a gathering occasionally or an unplanned overnight guest (common sense/consideration being key.) FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: ◦ Happy to share any bulk food items - I cook pretty well but it's not a hobby of mine. Would consider a room with a bed in it depending on the quality of the bed, as I plan to buy a new one. PETS Love animals but would only consider a breed that doesn't shed if living indoors.
I am a 27 year old professional from the UK and have recently moved to Sydney to work full time in a law firm in the city. I enjoy music and playing/watching sports and I am looking forward to experiencing what Sydney has to offer, including its food and bars. I would be keen to make friends, and socialise, with housemates outside of work. I am friendly, tidy and considerate and it would be great to find like-minded housemates to move in with! I am living in temporary accommodation for the next couple of weeks, but would be able to move in as soon as possible should the right place come up.
Another Brit who has migrated over. About to start a job in the city within finance, therefore will be busy most weekdays. Lived in shared accom for 4 years, so know the drill. Ideally would like some chilled housemates that don't mind some bevs beaches or brunching over the weekends. Would also be keen for team-ups.
Hi there! I’m Giulia and I’m a PhD student in crystallography at the University of Edinburgh. I’m Italian :) I will be in Australia for 2 years and I will work at ANSTO. I’m a really quite and tidy person! I love cooking, sports, reading and spending time with my friends. I’m looking for a flat to share with other people/student so just let me now if my profile could be sizable for you ;)
I'm a soccer coach from England. ⚽️ I'm pretty new to Australia and love adventuring, hiking and going to the beach as well as just chilling out with a few beers. 🍻 I want to experience everything Sydney has to offer! 🇦🇺 I will work hard in the week and usually like to make the most of my weekends. I'm very social but also like to give Flatmates their own space to chill too, as I like to do the same. I'm looking to get something sorted ASAP. So contact me if your place mateches the description, Thanks! The room needs to be 300 max - all bills included & also fully furnished with a bed so it's ready to move in straight away.
PRIVATE ROOM ONLY! I'm a friendly, tidy and funny woman who just wanna a nice house to live with kind and organised people (max 2) with more or less my age (31). I'm looking for a private room! I'm not a party person, so, I'd like to live with someone with a profile similar to mine. I work hard and study, so, live in a noisy place is not an option. I meditate daily and also do yoga. :)) If you are looking for someone just like me, send me a message and we can talk better. :))
Hey! I'm Gianni. Half-Australian, half-Italian Sydneysider. Recently completed my BA at Sydney, and work as a full-time ministerial writer. Looking for a bunch of great people to live with - so long as there's a sense of humour and a friendly, sociable atmosphere, I'm all for it! I spend a lot of time out, heading to gigs and hanging with friends, but also enjoy my own company. Have lived in a share house before (for two years), and loved it. I'm partial to cooking, chatting, some gardening, but am very wary of others' privacy and keeping a clean, neat home. I believe your home is your haven, and treat mine accordingly. Am also down for the odd dinner party, barbecues and beers (or cheese 'n' wine), and meeting new people, so am pretty open to busy places. However, I often work 'til around seven on weekdays, so like to relax afterwards, perhaps a chat before spending time in my room and heading to bed. I'm a keen music enthusiast, but not a loud one. I love introducing people to new tunes, and the reverse occurring even more so. In this regard, hanging with housemates in my room every now and again to chat, listen to some jazz, soul, etc., and unwind, is welcomed. Looking for somewhere ideally within 10-15 minutes of the CBD via public transport and close to a train station (a 10-15-minute walk is cool). Would prefer two or more housemates, and have a $400 per week (max) budget. Very much look forward to meeting you guys, and hope you enjoy my company as much as I'm sure I'll enjoy yours!

Hi my name is Laura, 35yo. I work in marketing, for an agency based in Pyrmont. I have been living in Melbourne for the last 5 years and making a move to Sydney for work. I'm pretty easy going and have been house sharing since college so i'd like to think that I'm pretty well trained in the etiquette of being a good house mate. :-) I am clean and tidy (not to a freakish level) but I do like to have a nice place to live in and relax in the evenings and weekends. I am pretty independent and have a good bunch of mates here but also enjoy chilling out at home with a glass of wine/ food, chatting to housemates & setting the world to rights! During the week i'm pretty busy with work so generally keep quiet, maybe meet up with friends after work for dinner or a drink or a movie. At the weekends i like to be out an about and am usually pretty busy.
Very quiet, tidy and organised 27 years old full-time working male. Just moved from Melbourne to Sydney for work. Easy-going and likes making new friends since I am new to Sydney.
Hello, I'm Joanne from Korea. Currently I work as a part timer but soon work full time. I'm tidy, clean, mingle well with others. Always respect people and like to drink some time but not like party people. :) I like to swim, cycling and listen music. If you think I'm matched well with your room, please contact me. Cheers! :) :)
Hi ! I’m a 22 years old French guy. I’m usually studying engineering in Paris but I came in Sydney to complete an internship. Therefor, I’ll have a lot of free time after work and during the weekends. I enjoy sport, listening to music and I’m beginning photography. I'm a very easygoing and open-minded person. I would love to find mates to share a room/flat/house and explore Sydney and around.
I am a Canadian girl who has fallen in love with Aus! (Typical). I am looking for a short term rental beginning mid June and ending beginning of November. I am clean, organized and enjoy a mix of going out and staying in. I love meeting new people, exploring new areas and trying new things. I try to lead an active lifestyle and enjoy long walks and runs, yoga and a good ol HIIT workout.
Hello! I'm Miriam and currently working full time in the city. I'm a dog lover, morning gym-goer (at least I try to be), photography enthusiast, and tea drinker (although coffee is sometimes needed when I need a proper caffeine kick). I'd describe myself as someone who likes routine, likes to keep the place reasonably clean, and in general am a chill and private person who is down for some banter over a glass of wine every now and then. Looking for a like-minded flatmate to share some banter with - shoot me a message for a chat if that's you!
Hi there, I'm a recently graduated architect, working full time in Ultimo, so I'm not at home for most of the day and at night happy to have a glass of wine or beer and a chat with my flatmates; and on the weekends, I am mostly out to chill out with friends or at the beach, reading my Kindle. I don't cook occasionally, maybe a spaghetti once a week... ;)) but happy to share that, as I love socializing; Having said that, I also like to have my own private space and so I do respect others. I am a clean, tidy, easy-going and somehow organized person who loves nature and adventure. So I am up to any (cheap) outdoor activity suggestions. Also, I will be so lucky if you have a dog or two (or any other cutty pet) at home. in case you need to ask any more details.
Hi, I am an economist, I’m from Spain and I am 28 years old. I need to learn English for my job, for this reason I am here in Sydney studying English. I am also looking for a job as an accountant or in banking. I am the owner of a company which I continue to work from here. I arrived 3 months ago, I currently live in Pyrmont but I have to move because my flat is only available until May. I’m a very tidy, friendly, honest and respectful person. Please feel free to contact me if you want to know more.
Hey Guys, Originally from New York City living in Sydney for 4 months now, very social outgoing person with a pretty good circle of friends in Sydney whom I've known from back in the states. Currently living in Dulwich Hill and looking to stay in the inner west preferably. I am on my first working holiday visa and have guaranteed employment for the duration of my visa(s) so paying my rent on time won't ever be an issue. I work in hospitality more specifically hotels so my schedule rotates weekly meaning I get off early one week and late the next. I am a pretty good cook if that gets me any extra brownie points. Looking for some cool flatmates who are also CLEAN, preferably a modern home, and private room with enough space to keep to myself when i want and of course common space where we can all get to know each other while enjoying a beer and or a movie/game. Looking forward to meet you guys! - Daniel
I'm a 31 year old marketing professional who has recently moved to Sydney for a new job. I enjoy being active outdoors, socialising with friends, yoga and down time with a good Netflix series! I'm a clean, considerate and easy going flatmate who is looking to share with a like minded person.
