I'm a young guy with a good, secure full-time job in the city doing Software Engineering. I enjoy good food, catching up on tv shows and listening to music. Looking for a nice sized room where I can have a desk for work but also live comfortably. I'm currently living in Hornsby and looking to move closer to the city for work.
Hi guys...my name is Carlos, from Colombia, moved to Australia to study (postgraduate - UTS) and work. I'm looking for a flat to share (preferably with another couple) for me and my wife Viviana who will be arriving on May 2nd to Sydney for study english initially. We've been married for 4 years (no children so far) and we just decided to change our lifestyle for a few seasons and im pretty sure this is the place! :) :) I'm a 'Good music' lover (just not too loud) and like sports and sharing sometimes a glass of wine with friends. We are very social but calmed, tidy and respectful.
Hey there! If you are looking for a tidy, organized, mature, social, respectful and positive teamplayer you have found one. I'm a 31-year-old Finn and will be starting work in North Sydney in April. I'm thus looking for a room (private) as near to it as possible. I'm very passionate about dancing and like singing too, but don't do the latter in the shower ;). You can also count in communication, languages, (future) technology, science, sustainability and neurology as other interests of mine. I don't smoke or consider myself as too much of a cook either so am able to keep smoke out of the kitchen too :D. I'm not a partyer, the energy for that is wasted on exercise and working during the daytime, but I do enjoy a salsa night out every now and then. And when enticed, a beer/wine with flatmates is always welcome. I have a recommendation letter from my former landlord in Finland and you can also check references about me as a guest from AirBnB or scoop on my profile on Facebook. Better yet, give me a ring and do a second degree in person :)
Hi, I'm Leanne, 29 and originally from the Isle of Wight. I've been here nearly 3 years, working as EA in the city. Usually I'm out and about most of the time but when I am home I like to host dinner parties, binge on Netflix or generally have a chit chat. I'm well housetrained and like to keep my home clean.
Just arrived in Sydney after 9 months of backpacking Asia. After living in NYC for the past 8 years, I'm excited to check out a new city. I'm currently looking for work (digital media) and won't be able to commit to a long term stay until I know the job will be in Sydney. That said, I'm also in the market for short term while I figure out this whole work thing. Either way, priority will be given to furnished rooms. So you probably want to know a bit about me...I'm the type of person who works out so I don't feel guilty eating the entire bag of chips. I'm equality content with being outside riding a bike or hiking or maybe rock climbing (new hobby?) as I am reading a book on the couch with a glass of wine. Balance is key. While I was living alone back in NY, I've been surrounded by people 24/7 for 9 months so having roommates again seems like it'll be an easy adjustment. While I'm ok with us having our own lives, as I'm new to town, I'd much prefer roommates that doubled as friends. Oh.. And I love dogs (just in case you have or were thinking of getting one)
My Name is Pierce Nicholson(terrible photographer), I'm from England and came over to Australia in 2003 and love Australia I would be a clean, friendly flatmate. I love to cook and will give anything a go, I love to chill with friends and my future flatmates whether it's having a drink or just chatting. I'm studying Live Production and Managment services (Stage Management) at Australian college of Film Telvison and Theater. I have a passion for theatre, live music and overall the entertainment industry. I also have experince in other share houses.
Hey there, I'm a 19 year old guy from Munich, Germany. I finished school last year and like nearly everybody hear in Germany, I want to travel around in New Zealand and Australia. Luckily, I managed to get an internship at a shipping line in Sydney (Pyrmont) from 3rd April until the 30th of June, so I'm able to improve my english skills and gain some work experience. For this period of time I search for a furnished room with some nice mates to talk and to hang out with. :) I'm an easy going person and easy to get along with. In my freetime I'm mostly hanging out with friends, watching TV-series and movies. Feel free to write me a message or an e-mail, if you're still looking for a roommate and think that we could get along with each other quite well. Thanks for reading and hopefully contacting me :) Greetings, Vincent
Hello, I'm Ari, I'm looking for a small sharehouse - ideally 4 people or less. I'd like to be near a train line and ideally near bars/pubs/restaurants/supermarkets etc. I am out and about most of the time but when I am home I like to cook, binge watch netflix and have a few wines/beers. I'm social and keen for house dinners/drinks but also like time to myself. I'm housetrained and like to keep a tidy place :)
I've been living in Sydney for 6 years now (I'm french), love that city and planning to stay here for the next couple of years! I'm working as a research scientist at the University of Technology Sydney. I'm an easy going person who love to hang out but also like to have some private time. Always smiling and very curious (happy to discuss about anything)! I'm looking for a house to share with 2-3 people max (no backpackers!).
Me and a friend we are moving to a new place, both are from Spain and we are trying to find a good place to live. Preffering english speakers for keep improving our level (both studying atm). The most important thing for us is the actual condition of the flat/house (furniture, new equipment etc) and if it's located between the city and bondi just perfect. If your flat is dirty, old, or full of insects don't waste your time contacting us! :D (that's the reason of why we are moving right now) If you are interested to know us just mssg and we can share our facebooks ^^
Hi I'm Jaime :) I'm 24, an interior designer, yoga fanatic, hiking adventurer and brunching enthusiast. I'm looking to find somewhere long-term with lovely housemates around the Surry Hills/ Glebe area. I'm always up for a good chat and a stroll/ jog, but also love my down time.. usually to cook, read or plot my next grand business idea. I love healthy cooking and eating, and can often be found in the kitchen. In a typical week I'm out of the house between 8 - 7pm weekdays, and in and out on weekends. I'm considerate and tidy, and hoping to live with people who are the same. It's really important to me to live in a clean and well kept space. I want to live somewhere where friends and partners are welcome, but don't want a party house. I don't smoke and am not a big drinker... tea is my jam. If I sound like a good match for your place, please get in touch :)
I am a 23 year old working in marketing, having recently moved back over to Sydney from the UK. I've already been around Australia for a year, doing some travelling up the East Coast and working in Melbourne. I have decided to gain some extra work experience in my second year so I'm looking for a chilled, friendly and fun environment to spend the next 6+ months. During the week I mainly like to chill, which would involve watching a film or some TV after work. I try to head to the gym a few times a week if I can and love watching/playing sports. Also enjoy a good session in the kitchen when time allows. On the weekends, I try to keep busy whether it involves having a few beers, going to the beach or a night out.
Hi guys! I'm relocating from the Uk (Coventry) to Sydney so I'm currently looking for a nice, clean friendly place to live preferably with girls. I'm clean, tidy and respectful, I'm an outgoing person that makes friends with anyone and everyone. I have a big social life at Home so I'm hoping the same in Oz eventually. As I do like to get out and about & girls nights in also! I love to try & squeeze in as many squats at the gym before or after work and sometimes at the weekend. I'm a professional recruitment specialist, I work hard long hours during the week so I like to let the hair down at the weekends but I also enjoy a nice chilled night in to. I'm moving over on my own but I've had a taster of Sydney when I worked for Emirates and loved everything about it. I'm ex cabin crew lived in Dubai for 2 years, moved back to the uk to gain experience within recruitment so I'm bringing that with me :-) If your looking for that right girl to fit in, she's all here! Hope to here back from you :)
Looking for a group of younger professionals wanting to move into a place together. We're after something in the inner-west but pretty flexible on location if we find the right property. Looking to spend about $300 per room of the house, but again flexible. Send us a message! We're both very easy going, love socialising, cooking, and are both tidy. Jordan works for NSW Health and I'm working as a graduate in finance.
Easy going, clean and tidy, open minded, happy to chill out with a beer but of course also respectful of peoples personal space/time. Always keen to meet new people and learn more about other cultures/lifestyles. Currently studying at UTS to be a high school mathematics and physics teacher.
Hi there! My name is Bec and I currently work full time in Human Resources on a large infrastructure project located in Sydney. I'm looking for new home for myself and my (part time) 10 year old rescue terrier - Nahla I am quiet, respectful, mature and easy going. I currently live in a lovely share house in Stanmore and need to look for a new place as the lease is sadly coming to an end! Overall, I'm looking for a home around the inner west where I can be close to a few nice cafes and parks. I'm very clean and tidy, and overall a very considerate person. A normal working week for me is that I generally leave for work around 7 and get back around 7 after gym. In addition to this, I usually I'll have around 1-2 meals during the week out with friends. I'm pretty chill on the weekends which usually consist of catching up with friends out and about and trying out some new and exciting places to eat, I have a weakness for gelato! A little more info on little Nahla is that she is toilet trained and a very quiet dog. I currently share her with my former partner and have her three weeks on and three weeks off. She has lived her life and is at a point where she spends her days doing rotations from lying in the sun to the shade. She is to her hearts content sitting on the lounge with some cuddles to keep her happy! Cheers :)
Hi there, I will be making to move from Adelaide to Sydney in May 2017 to work in management consulting. I like to think I am an easy going individual. I like to keep myself busy outside of work, whether it be playing sport, running, getting involved with not-for-profit organisations or brewing my own beer. I take great interest in the lives of people around me. I do like to have an active social life but at the same time I really appreciate my own and other's space. Ideally, I would like to live just south of the city (Surry Hills, Darlinghurst) but anywhere surrounding those areas would be great as well. I will be travelling back to Adelaide about once a month, and my girlfriend from Adelaide is likely to come visit and stay with me once a month. Please feel free to get in touch with me. Pat
We're a travel-loving, international couple (Aussie/French) who'll be moving from Munich-Sydney in March. Kellie is doing a PhD in physics and Emilie is a translator. We're both from massive families (we each have a parent with 10 siblings!) and have lived in sharehouses of all sizes. We're neat, love cooking, and enjoy having housemates with whom we can interact on a less-awkward level than scuttling around in the kitchen and avoiding in the hallway. We're travelling from Europe-Australia by ship, so will be a bit hard to contact in in February. So, the earlier we find a place the better!
I am an easy-going person. Friendly, love a good laugh and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I am multilingual; I speak fluent English, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay and very poor Dutch as my mother is Indonesian and my father is Dutch. Although, I am an Australian citizen now. Before Australia, I've lived around a few countries in my whole 20 years of life, in cities such as Jakarta, Bali and Singapore. So if you come from or have lived in any of those places too, we'll have great fun relating through them! I have one year experience living in a share house with seven other girls when I was up in Newcastle, so I understand the aspects of living together, sharing a home under mutual respect. At home, I am undoubtedly very neat and tidy with my personal spaces; I take very good care of my belongings and their surroundings. You wouldn't have to worry about mess or dirty dishes hanging around the house because I cannot stand them let alone live with them! If you have pets, I'll love them to bits. My parents are keeping my two dogs; Snowy is a Japoodle and Bruno is a pug. If you have a dog too, maybe we can bring them on nice beach walks on sunny days as mine loves it! I study Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws in University of Newcastle, although I am taking a gap year just to work full time and build up my savings. In addition, at the moment I am working full-time as a barista in a French cafe, needless to say, your daily bread need is sorted. White, wholemeal, rye, sourdough, you name it. I usually bring home hot pies and cakes too! Although I always try to keep up a healthy lifestyle five days a week. The other two days I eat yummy sugars watching Netflix. So if you are up for a gym and Netflix buddy, I'm your gal :) Cheers! X Hana
Hi there, I am Maria from Colombia, currently working on a desk job for the construction industry at Barangaroo and studying part time at University of Sydney. As I am validating my la law degree atm I'd like to find a peaceful place so I can rest properly and mantain focus. I am very relaxed and easy going person. I am organised and love keeping spaces clean and clear so I can feel like I am at home. I attended music school for 4.5 years so music is definitly something I like! - I play the guitar occasionally and sing in the shower when I am happy. I like sharing spare time with friends and be surrounded by possitive people though every now and then I value the times where I just feel like keeping to myself, e.g. when I am tired or during uni exams (but in general pretty versatile social wise). Crossfit - Diving - Climbing - Travelling have been for a while my fav actitities.
