Hi, My name is Loretta, I'm 24 from Perth and am relocating to Sydney with my work (accountant). I am looking for an unfurnished bedroom that can fit a queen bed in a share house / flat share close to the CBD. I preferably want off street parking. An inbuilt wardrobe would be a plus! My budget is max. $300 per week (not including bills). As I work full time I would likely only be around at night and on weekends. My partner is relocating to Canberra and we plan to alternate weekends between the two places. As such, I would like a place that can accommodate having my partner stay every other weekend (noting that I will be away every other weekend in Canberra). I enjoy hiking / coastal walks, trying new restaurant, good TV shows and the odd glass of red. I like a clean and tidy environment and would make sure to do my share of the housework. I have also previously lived in a sharehouse. Please message me if you have a place that might suit :) I arrive in Sydney on Monday, 23rd Jan so can come and view places between then and 6 Jan (my preferred move date).
I'm a 31 year old Brazilian guy who actually lives in Sydney (Waverton). I love sports (working in the gym, MMA and Triathlon). I have a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), but I also went to UFBA to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy (which I did not finish) a few years before. I love reading, studying and engaging in cultural activities (cinema, theater, music festival and art in general). I really enjoy spending some time for myself but I also enjoy talking to friends and I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know new cultures. After all, I think I could say that I am a very ecletic guy! I'm going to Australia to study for two years (2017-2019) at Tafe St Leonard in northern Sydney. And I've lived in the US for a year while I was in high school (living with a family horsting). I speak English (high level) and Portuguese (mother tongue). As a host I think it is essential to be respectful and cooperative with my other mates. I try to be as helpful as I can and keep things clean and organized. I really hope to meet house mates with whom I can become good friends and develop a rewarding relationship. I do not have any kind of prejudices about sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or anything else. And I look for people with a mind equally open to individual differences. I'm ready to move right away. Get in touch, folks!
I'm a Brit who loves music, films, meticulously planning all of the places i'll go when I win the lottery, cooking and eating all things veggie. I study Naturopathy full time and work on the weekend so I definitely don't lead the life of a typical 22yr old. When I do have time on my hands I tend to want to spend it dancing or hanging out in the sea. I'm after somewhere clean & light with people who like sharing the odd glass of wine and a laugh but always do their bit around the house and don't bring the party home!
Hi! I've been living in Sydney since October/2015 and I want fix residence here but for that I need to do the EILTS exam. Then, I'm looking for a single room in a share house with people from different countries than mine where I can talk in English, I'm from Brazil. I'm easy going, tidy, clean and respectful. Thank you!
Tidy, respectful, helpful and love a good chat/ laugh. Not a fussy person at all really. Full time receptionist working in an engineering firm. I like to have quiet nights but also go out a lot. I like to cook and attempt to get involved in fitness activities.
love to binge watch tv shows and love to try new places to eat. Wanna grab a coffee or have a glass of wine, i'm your guy :) I'm super hardworking and will always find a way to achieve what needs to be done!
Hey! Im looking to move to Sydney within the next couple of weeks. Currently staying with a friend in Noosa but missing the city life. Rubie: 21, I just recently moved from Scotland to Australia, been travelling about a bit visiting friends and family and hoping to settle for a while in Sydney and get a job to earn some more money for future travels. I'm a clean, easy going, and respectful flat mate. Likes: cooking, cats and basking in the sunshine that we lack back in Scotland!
My name is Annabelle, I am 27 years old and I have just returned from living in Paris, France for a few months. I love music, reading, relaxing, wine, cheese, exercising, socializing (yet I also enjoy my own space). I'm a down to earth and chilled out person, very easy to get along with, I have a great sense of humor, I am respectful of others and I always clean up after myself (I'm not a neat freak but I do take pride in my home and like to be tidy). I love the beach, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, going to new bars/pubs/restaurants, live performances and anything that is a bit different. I love to have fun and go out but I'm more the 'smoke bomb'/'phantom' type of person rather than bringing the party home.
We are a French couple looking for a new share house asap ! We are currently living in Ashfield but our room mate wants to move out so we need a new place we can call home. We are clean, tidy and easy going people. We are both working in construction around Sydney. We are quiet people who like time to time to rest in their room but also share and talk with nice house mates ;) If you're interested to meet please let us know. Claire & Antoine
We are both irish. We have flat shared for 6 years with other people and have never had any problems. We like to keep a clean house and know how to respect people's homes and privacy. Very laid back and enjoy meeting new people. Working full time so usually not home until after 5/6 in the evenings. Like to socialise and do things on our days off.
Hey! I'm Thom and I'm a masters student at Macquarie uni. I'm just about to go into my second year to work on a project with Tassie devils (and hopefully I'll get a chance to go down there and hang out with the little guys :)). I'm originally from Port Macquarie but moved to Sydney in 2013 to study, and I've loved it here ever since. As you might have guessed from what I'm studying, I love animals and the outdoors, so I enjoy bushwalking, playing the odd game of backyard cricket - basically anything that will get me outside. But I'm also a bit of a movie and music buff as well I'm pretty laid-back and easy to get along with, but always make sure I keep on top of everything that I need to. I'm looking for somewhere to stay from the end of January, for at least a year. I'm currently staying in Ryde, but wouldn't mind moving a bit further abroad. And would be ideal to move into a house with a few people :) Thanks!
We're two bubbly girls from Europe on working holiday. Back in our country we worked as professionals in field of finance and pharmacy but decided to take a gap year to travel. We're both open-minded and easy going, but also tidy and responsible. We enjoy spending time outdoors, meeting new people and a glass of wine with friends :)
29-year-old digital/technology professional, seeking a great bunch of people and a decent house to call home. I'll be working full-time, keeping active in my spare time at the gym. I'm into my sailing, motorbiking, exploring new eateries and watering holes and of course, good coffee. Comes with car and motorbike, and some furniture if needed.
We are three german backpackers who just start working in Sydney. We would describe ourselves as very clean, friendly and humorous people, who are easy going to live with! Enjoying life, drinking in a nice group of people and just having fun is one of our favourite things to do in our free time.

Hello! I'm a film student on my last year of Uni at the Australian Film School working part time at UTS (and other various jobs). I'm a clean and laid back type of person who loves to hang/socialise with people but also respects space of others. I love films! (obviously as I study and make them haha) as well as studying/training in martial arts, going to the beach, reading books and going out on the occasion. I'm a pretty good cook and always clean up after myself. As for my background - I'm from NZ w/ Maori, Italian and Aboriginal heritage but grew up in inner-west Sydney for high school.
I am from Uruguay in south america, I came to sydney to work in an animation studio in Surry Hills until june 2017. Im quiet, clean, and I like to hang out for a beer somedays after a long day of work. I'm very sociable and I can speak English and Spanish as well!
I'm friendly, very tidy, like to meet new people and go out. I will spend most daytime working at the university, thus I am very easy to live with, since I basically just need the flat as a place to sleep (and eventually eat).
****I travel a LOT for work. I'm away most of March, half of April and 5 weeks from mid May hence why I'm looking for a cheaper place. I'd be ideal for someone with a nice spare room who just wants a lodger who's rarely there....easy money :-) I work in HR at Google. I transferred to Sydney in August from the Google Dublin office. Before this I lived in Brisbane for 4 years so I'm practically half Aussie :-P I love sports, especially football (soccer!) and keep myself active in the gym or at football training 5-6 times a week. PS that isn't my kid, she's my goddaughter :-)
I'm looking to team up and find a place in or around Parramatta. I'm a friendly, outgoing person. I work Monday to Friday so like to keep it chill and quiet on week nights, wouldn't mind a drink or two on the weekend. I'm a clean person, I'll never leave a mess behind. I'm an outdoor smoker. I'd like to find a housemate on the same wave length as me, someone I can call a friend and hang with, although I do respect others quiet time and privacy. I don't want to feel like I'm living with a stranger, I'd like to be comfortable in my home.
About me: I'm a young professional in his 30s who works as a software engineer. In the evenings I like to go for a run, read, watch tv or a movie, or just relaxing with a glass of wine. I speak three languages and I am keen to learn more.
25YO couple looking ideally for a flatshare with 2-3 others. Both clean and tidy with 9-5 Monday to Friday jobs, but sociable other than that :) Easy going and respectful of the needs of our flatmates! Moving to Sydney on a long term basis.
Hey guys, I'm Tim from Germany and I'll be heading to Sydney (27.01.2017) for an internship at the university of Sydney. Therefore I'm looking for a nice, tidy, clean and relaxed place to stay with cool flatmates. I am 26, tidy, respectful, easy-going, relaxed and always interested in meeting/hanging out with new people. I will be working from Mondays to Fridays, so on weekdays I am not into partying that much, rather just hanging out, socialising, watching movies, fetch a drink or something like that. At the weekends I am up for anything that's fun:)! I love doing sports, hanging out and going out with friends, watching movies/netflix and playing the piano. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate and leave me a message, Cheers, Tim
We're two friends who have recently moved to Sydney and are looking for two bedrooms in a house/apartment share. We are easy going, non-smoking, beer loving girls who are hoping to find like minded people to live with from the beginning of February / end of Jan onwards. To tell you more about us we are two professionals who on a week night could be found hanging out and chatting, exploring Sydney, enjoying our own space, exercising, having a cheeky drink after a long day or eating seafood. On weekends we like to go out and socialise and tick off new places and experiences on our bucket list. Keen to meet some like minded people to live with :)

We are a Danish couple, traveling to Australia for about 4 months. Our plan is to work different full-time jobs, and also to go sightseeing and experience the beautiful country. We are nice, fun, cleanly, decent and cool people, who love to be social and have fun, but we also accept a closed door. We are sure, that we could be ideal flatmates for you! Besides that, we know how to cook minute-noodles in 57 seconds... so what's not to like!
Hi, I am Rosemary a Dutch (with Spanish roots) financial analysis master student. I shall be interning in Sydney for at least 6 months. I love eating, cooking healthy and being outdoors. Ideally I would love to live with someone with I can share a good laugh, food and perhaps a drink or two. But I also respect other people's privacy. I have lived in 4 share flats before in three different countries so I used to being responsible (paying on time), able to live with others and clean (like really!).
Hi There, I'm 28 and I work full-time for a high end Italian design company. I'm really quite and clean, and I would expect the same from the flatmate. I like cooking and sharing a meal with a glass of wine/beer with flatmate. I think this little moments makes you feel home. But I do like having my personal space, as I will respect yours. During the week end I usually go to the beach and catch up with friends for dinner and drinks somewhere. Love travelling, when I have the chance I just jump on the car for a road trip or an plane to explore Australia.

I am looking for a place to call home in a share house/apartment. I am very easy going, clean and quite busy with work. I'm not looking for a party house although I do enjoy to have a wine after work. I have been overseas for the past 2 years traveling and living in Sweden, although I am an Aussie originally from North QLD. I am planning on traveling again later in the year although nothing is set in stone so would ideally be looking for a room for 6 months or so. Let me know if this would suit :)
I'm an undergraduate student doing a semester abroad at the University of Sydney from late February until mid July and am looking for a room to rent for about 5 months. I study Art History and am originally from Iceland, but now live an study in England. I'm easy going, openminded and extroverted as a person and love doing anything creative. As a housemate I consider myself tidy and respectful and am looking to live in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where I can get to know Sydney and all the culture it has to offer!

Hi there, I'm moving from London to Sydney for a six month job offer in the TV industry. Originally from Italy, I'm clean, respectful, very easy-going, nice and chilled.

Hi! I am Dana, a 21-year-old Dutch girl moving to Sydney this February to do an internship in fashion. I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared house for about 5 months. Really looking for a place to call home. I would love to have dinners/wine together after work or on weekends. Also I'm very excited to explore Sydney and meet new people! I am an international student and also a lecturer at a college in Sydney. Fun nd friendly guy who also loves to go on drives. I am looking for like minded people to live with, who can respect privacy and are clean and tidy.
Hey Moving up to Sydney from Melbourne for work. I'm easy going and friendly. As I don't know many people in Sydney looking for some room mates to go out to brunch or for a drink with.
I was born and raised in Australia up to the age of 5, then I moved to Dubai, UAE with my family. I am enrolled in the University of Sydney doing a dual degree in economics and arts (psychology). This is why I would prefer a place close to my university. My hobbies are reading, exercising, martial arts, sketching, guitar, piano, singing, video gaming and going out with friends. I also enjoy the outdoors and a range of activities like paintball, go-karting, golf, basketball and football. I believe I would make a good housemate because I am kind, well-mannered, organised, neat, selfless, able to communicate calmly, resolve conflicts, compromise and clean up after myself effectively. I have a lot of experience living with other people because I have stayed in over 10 hostels. I will admit I am not the best at cooking but am slowly learning and getting better. *Note: My rent p/w is negotiable.
Hi there, I am a positive and easy-going 31-year old Dutchy who will be in Sydney from Feb 11 - May 24, 2017 to attend a full-time graphic design course in Sydney CBD. I have arranged a short stay from Feb 11 - Feb 18, so I need to move in latest on Feb 18. If you feel you have the need to meet me before in person, that would be possible during this week. A little bit about myself: I love the sun, sharing meals (and cooking them), yoga, exploring and many other things that are too much to list here. If you want to know more, please feel free to ask any time! :-) As I will be studying occasionally when I am home, I am looking for a private room in a sharehouse with easy-going and respectful flatmates, who keep the noise down and keep the kitchen, the toilet and the bathroom clean. I like socialising, but also like my privacy. I suppose it is a matter of finding the right balance with your flatmate(s). I will not bring any furniture, so the room needs to at least have a bed, a wardrobe and preferably a desk as well. Don't mind to share a bathroom. I love pets and don't mind sharing the space with them. So, if you are clean, know how to have a good chat and live close to the city, you have the place I am looking for! Please contact me! Cheers, Noor
Hi Guys, my name is Vicente and I'm 28 years old. I'm looking for a place where I can stay during my exchange. I'm going to study at Greenwich, so I'd like something close. Anywhere near the CBD will do.
💻📱🖥⌨⌚️💾🛰 IT Professional (I can legit fix all of your tech woes in a heartbeat) - fresh IT Graduate. 🎓 Quiet, very clean, keeps to himself, studious/analytical type :) but isn't afraid to strike up a casual chat if we can relate and get on well, even if it's just about the weather I suppose. :) I take great and constant steps to ensure my health is top-notch. I love to go for walks while listening to my best tunes/music to exercise when I can, or bike rides / tennis / indoor soccer, but don't play sports too often. 🌠⚽️🎾🏓🚴🍓🍒🍉 I also drink a lot of water regularly because it's important to maintaining great health and I highly value my sleep and getting in at least 8 hours a night at around the same time although this can sometimes be offset by stress. I am an IT Professional and have just graduated, looking at working full-time early this year (2017) (I have been through several interviews at top tier companies). I need an ensuite bathroom so we NEVER have to worry about conflicting toilet times or always doubting cleanliness among each other. :) Hmm, so... what I do for fun, is there even any more time for that any more? I enjoy taking photos of landscapes/buildings/nature and Progressive/House/Deep/Trance music to relax. Mostly just get my kicks from browsing the web, being productive and always learning something new, either professionally or through personal web searches / reading historical tech events / recount books of how companies were founded and documentaries too! :D I don't like uncertainty, it makes me feel extremely anxious, so I am more of a dedicated long-term trooper, but if I don't like something I find a way to better it or change it completely until it's better for me or everyone involved. Best of all, I try and find the right solution right from the get go before ever committing to something big. Overall, I am a very knowledgeable and versatile guy intellectually (always have been the meticulous/thorough type, but I try not let that get too much in the way and sometimes it's just best to go with the flow, but other times in ain't). 🤓 But I never feel TOO nerdy, I feel more hip with a social factor to myself :) Please drop me a message if you think I am a good fit, here are my property requirements: - Looking for 1 bedroom with an OWN bathroom /ENSUITE which the bathroom has a WINDOW to breathe fresh air and rid potential mould fast. - 2-3 flatmates max. - I have my own room furniture: Spacious King Single bed, 180cm X 80cm long desk (I am looking to downsize the desk though), 43" 4K LG Smart TV (which can go in my room) and small filing cabinet (fits under desk) and small bookshelf (64cm L x 34cm Depth) although I am in the process of selling some of that. - Please send me your room dimensions so I can calculate how everything will fit if it all does and also send me when you would be available for inspection / which date you're looking for someone to move in. 📅🏡🏠🏢 - Has to be close (10-15 min max walk) to a train station since I rely on public transport, and buses don't seem all that too reliable or on-time from my past residency and experience on this Earth. :) - No loud or overbearing pets (I'm mild asthmatic, and like my sleep :) ), no smokers please. - Quiet location and neighbours - Bright sunny filled place. - Aircon preferred but not essential. - Constantly well ventilated place (through window drafts) is a MUST! (No stuffy or dark feeling places). - Gas cooking. - No long / tall trail of stairs. - Quiet, not near any main roads. Thank you! Kind Regards Stefan IT Professional and recent Graduate
Cameron and I have just finished 2 and halfish year stint in the UK and looking to settle back into everyday lifestyle. Always up for a beer and chat, especially at a pub. I'm originally from Melbourne and Cameron from Sydney/NSW. Both working in hospitality
Hey guys! I'm arriving in Sydney on 1st February for working holiday and looking for an accommodation in Sydney. I am a sociable person. I don't smoke. I like to drink sometimes but I don't get too drunk and crazy. I'd like if my housemates can be friends to hang out with as well. I am an Indonesian Chinese female on WHV. Initially, I think on most days I will go out to explore the city and find a job. I am usually a night owl but I'm trying to change a bit, wake up in the morning to exercise. I don't cook many kinds of food, just simple things like grilled salmon, pasta, salad, ramen. And I'd be happy to share if you like :) I speak English well, and also Mandarin Chinese. I mostly like to live in a clean house so I don't mind cleaning the common rooms whenever I have time. But, I'd also like people to take responsibility in taking care of the house.
Hi! I am Patricia and I will be moving to Sydney first week of February 2017. I am looking for a place to stay. I prefer private rooms although sharing the bathroom and the kitchen will be fine. I am a Filipino professional, easy to get along with, respectful, neat and won't mind having dogs or pets inside the house. I like to travel or read a book during my free time.
Hey..... clean & respectful, enjoy great conversation over a home cooked meal with some wine, usually find me working at my laptop or out working in hospitality from 5pm - 2am Wednesday to sunday. Do visit the gym & try playing my acustica guitar when I can.
